741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 10, 2020, 11:15:57 AM
I don't know for other guys, but I am holding but not actually.

I do have some Bitcoins but not that much that I've been holding for some time, but I am not actually holding since when the price pump, I don't actually sell all of them, I just sell some or trade some of it to other cryptocurrencies. When the price drops I do the same; I can't just hold all of my Bitcoins since I could create more opportunities to earn if I move it around taking advantage of the movements of the market.
742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 10, 2020, 10:11:31 AM
Is it manipulation? or just not breaking the resistance of 12K Area?
I am shocked of this recent drop and i am a long term holder, what do you think it will happen? just a correction?
You should take it normally. As a long term holder you might face those price drop issue most often. Four years ago I have also got shock like you by the sudden change behaviour of bitcoin price, cause I was new to crypto world that time. Now I don't get surprised by those price change anymore. But as an investor I also want to see bitcoin price rising.

That is just right.

And instead of overthinking what is happening, try to blend what other investors are doing, reinvest. If you can't reinvest, try to be calm and just keep on holding. This market is not for those people who have weak hands, you should always remember that. If the price drop, keep on holding, if the price pumped, try to earn something.

As I can see and notice for what happened now this pandemic, We all know that Covid-19 is the main problem of each country that has been affected by this virus, but to be honest in my own little way the is bigger than a problem with this COVID, and that is some officials in the government takes advantage of this pandemic to steal the funds coming from the healthcare insurance. These must be punish were no one is above the law for every nation.

IMO, that is the main problem.

We are in a pandemic, it is true that the virus is a problem but with a bad leadership, with bad decisions of the government, the situation in hand is getting worse, then we also have corruption. If they know what to do in these times, the people would never suffer like these, but let's not forget that there are also those people that are not following the protocols.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: September 10, 2020, 04:22:17 AM
I don't mind being free.

Do things I wanted to do, go to places I wanted to go, and so on but I don't think that it will be that great if there is too much freedom. This freedom might lead to more chaos since people would do things they wanted to without thinking about the consequences of it to him and the other people. Bitcoin is great the way it is now, we just need adoption that is just it.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 09, 2020, 11:18:55 AM
Our world has changed already. The digital technology is fast changing and if parents can't cope up with this fast pace in technology, these kids will explore things that their parents are not aware of. And to combat this potential problem, I guess one way to address this is to foster them about the importance of money and how to spend it wisely. As parents can't watch their kids all day long, they need to find a way how to give them life long lessons that they can keep.

And if you notice, the incoming parents will also be used to these technologies.

Most of them are from the Millennial generations, in fact there are already parents at that generation and their children are now being exposed to technology at an early age. In 10 years span I don't think we should be having a problem with technology, since most of these parents know most of the things about it, security, regulations and other sorts will be the ones we should be talking about.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 09, 2020, 10:28:45 AM
Nothing is going to stop unless the user itself want to stop because gambling sites can make profits if gamblers play more and more so we can't expect them to stop us from over betting and other way could be locking our funds for a time frame in a website or in a wallet which also not feasible because no one really want to lock their funds.

Well, we can't really believe or even expect these online casinos or gambling sites to make a way to stop us gamblers from betting. It is either the government need to interfere with their policies and regulation or if we realize ourselves that we need to limit or we need to stop gambling. Another thing is that if ever that a casino site would be adding a limiting feature for their accounts, would gamblers really use it?

No, they will definitely stop gambling at that casinos.

That is the thing about gamblers, if they feel that they are being limited and being restricted to do things they wanted, they will go to other place where they could continue what they are doing in the past. I think casino owners are also aware of this that is why for a long time, they would not be accepting this idea. Gamblers themselves should step up, not the casinos not the government.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 09, 2020, 09:31:06 AM
Uhhh..Heat already won.

I am not judging where you are watching though but they already won. Miami Heat will be facing Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
How sure are you? The series of Boston vs Toronto is not over yet, Boston has to win the game tomorrow for them to advance in the Eastern Conference Finals. You are so advance mate, lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot to put something being sarcastic on that.

I will be putting my money into Boston Celtics so yeah, I would be really rooting for them to end the series tomorrow. But yeah, for sure Boston and Heat will be facing the Eastern Finals.  Roll Eyes
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 09, 2020, 08:50:09 AM
So much better guards that the Bucks are trying to shoot outside where they are so bad at. But still, I don't like Giannis to leave the Bucks. They can do better.

Just look on the FGs of the players trying to shoot especially at the arc, struggling so much that I think this game is really sloppy, I mean the sloppiest game in the playoffs. I can't blame them since they are struggling to go inside too. All I can say is that this is like the counter of bucks' team and Bucks can't even defend well like they are giving it to Heat.
I did not expect heat would comeback from their previous loses after they got championship with other star players lead by lebron. Now it seems like they too wanted another championship.

NBA really getting very interesting after the heat and bucks. Bucks is number in the playoff seed however they are now struggling to win against heat team. If heat will come out between bucks then it will be heat vs. celtics or raptors which surely too a good match for them. However, celtics leading now in their series with raptors so I guess it would be celtics vs. heat. I can't wait to see the match will going through.

Uhhh..Heat already won.

I am not judging where you are watching though but they already won. Miami Heat will be facing Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Although I don't think Miami will get past through Boston Celtics. I am certain that we will be seeing another historical rivalry of the yellows and the greens in the NBA Finals; Boston Celtics Vs. La Lakers.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 09, 2020, 07:55:29 AM
I wanna see history again.
Heat vs Celtic... No better conference finals!
Smiley Miami Heat 5th position in the NBA made conference finals with one of the funniest lineups(rating) knocked out the best team in defence. Now that's an incredible moment.
For sure, Heat vs. Celtics is going to be fun. Heat vs. Raps will be entertaining as well.

I don't know what you mean by funniest lineups but that Heat team is actually decent. It's a good mix of vets and rooks that are reliable. They were able to exploit the Bucks' witness that was exposed by the Raps last year. The coaching team did their homework.

Heat has good guards while the Bucks have a huge problem in this position.
They managed to win Bucks due to master Dragic and Robinson.
I hope that Giannis is going to leave the Bucks as the team is not improving and it hasn't become better during the last two seasons.

So much better guards that the Bucks are trying to shoot outside where they are so bad at. But still, I don't like Giannis to leave the Bucks. They can do better.

750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Telegram channel for tracking the instant price of BTC on: September 09, 2020, 06:29:50 AM
I don't actually use Telegram.

In terms of checking the price, I just look in my portfolio and I can see the price and the changes made. When my laptop is the only one accessible or easily accessible, I just click on a site I bookmarked for years now. The site is preev.com. You can also change the sources of this site if you wanted to.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff son buys more bitcoin against his advise on: September 09, 2020, 03:19:57 AM
What is Peters purpose publicising this?telling the world His son is not under His control or just to show that youngster now really loves Bitcoin?or even altcoins.

May he thought that he is right and also thought that this followers will agree to him making his son embarassed.

But it is a mistake, it shows most of Peter Schiff's followers are unto Bitcoin and maybe other cryptocurrencies the reason his losing the poll he posted. Later he posted again saying he is just 'trolling" and should spend our time selling our Bitcoin and buying Gold. He is trolling but he is trolled back by his followers. Now his seemed annnoyed by his next tweets.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: September 08, 2020, 09:44:05 AM
No way. Bitcoin will be back under $10k soon enough whether stocks crash or not. There is no way this market can sustain prices above $10k for anything but momentary bouts of speculative euphoria. Eventually the price will be back under $10k for good.
In my opinion bitcoin won't be back under $10k in this year. At this time, bitcoin is strong enough and it has ability to break $15k very soon. If we support bitcoin by holding, we will be able to get some good news soon.

We don't know that.

It reached a good price in a short period of time, there is a chance that it can do the opposite at the same period of time. It may break barriers but I think it will again go back to 4 digits before going back to 5 digits.
Price is okay for this time. I told above that we can make bitcoin in our sweet well if we support it strongly. But yes, bitcoin can up or down any time as it is the basic rules.

Right now we are sliding back and forth at the price of $10K.

The wall between $11K and 12K might be close but it is so hard to break through. Despite the support we have, there will always be a time like this and we can't control that since there are a lot of other investors and not just us, it can also be manipulated, it might be a correction or an effect of a scam or hack, we don't know. This will happen and all we can do is to adjust and take advantage of it.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction by 2021 on: September 08, 2020, 09:00:09 AM
We can't even break through $12K this month.

I think we will not be able to reach that price next year, probably we might get back to $11K at the end of the year and might break the wall of $12K in the earlier months but I don' think it will be even at $30K, might not even be at $20K.
754  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: September 08, 2020, 07:38:54 AM
All countries have been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the reduction of workforce is due to several reasons and related to regulations and government circulars that limit and reduce crowds. In particular developing countries will definitely have a bigger impact on their economies during the pandemic, and there are also many sectors that are affected. Hopefully this virus will end quickly and all will be better for the next few months and years.

What we need here now is the vaccine.

These countries are having a hard time controlling the situation, it may be the country or the citizen themselves but all we know is that the virus can't be stopped right now without the vaccine. India is under fire right now with a lot of cases, as far as I know, they already talked to Russia about the vaccine and what we need now is the time when will it be given.
755  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 08, 2020, 06:40:14 AM
We already have the vaccine, we don't need to worry about the next generations.

People are continuously living, they adapted and realized a lot of things in this pandemic. They learned a lot of things, that is for sure and what we can do now is our best to keep on pushing. A lot of things happened and still a lot of things are happening, it will be more chaotic if we keep on lingering on those things, as the OP said, we need to move forward. Meet the Robinsons, eh?
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 08, 2020, 05:17:21 AM
Just as I'm wishing, Bucks won but Giannis is in pain. I guess as a fan, has to give up for the hope of the next game.

Health is a better priority than the next game.   Undecided

What do you say guys?

I am also a fan of Giannis and it is really disappointing how this series turned out.

We're holding on a thread and I don't know how will they turn this series upside down. There is a low possibility that they could win this series and I don't know if Giannis would be in the next game. Bam and Jimmy told the press that Miami Heat is not having a great game at that fourth series saying that even without Giannis, they can't win.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 08, 2020, 03:39:02 AM
Nobody here allows kids to gamble. It's the kids' decision to do that and none can stop them taking into account their stubborn nature. Control is in the hands of parents and so, they can decide where to stop their kids from entering. If parents are caring and they do have a watch on their kids, it is not possible for such kids to give any time to gambling. Yes, eSports does have underaged kids playing games like CS:GO, DOTA2 and the craze that's immensely rising these days is for PUBG. Speaking very frankly, I never played PUBG and I think I'll not play that game till my last breath. It is better to stop kids from playing these games so to give their valuable time in nurturing themselves through education and learning.
Indeed. No parents would allow their children to gamble because no parent would let their child to have a bad future or make them addicted in gambling, that is why it is a parents fault if they are irresponsible for letting their child gamble or any bad habit. But I don't think games like CS:Go, DOTA2, LOL, and other violent games would result a bad habit to an underaged child, as long their parents would limit them from using or playing these computer games. So they could not forget their studies and social life.

I agree, no parent would allow their children to gamble.

But that would be a different conversation when we are talking about the parents not knowing their children they're gambling. There are a lot of children that are addicted to these games, and their parents wouldn't know most of them and they are even letting their children buy these loot boxes thatmaight make them want gambling more.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 08, 2020, 02:20:09 AM
How can they help you control your playing and betting when they are targeting your money to fill their bag?
I just said it's an alternative solution I didn't say it's the best solution available while it doesn't help the majority of the gamblers that became addicted it can still help a few gamblers in some way. For others blocking their main gambling account could serve as a first step to know their priorities and eventually break their habit.

It is a great alternative solution.

But whether these online casinos have it or not, I don't think it will work since as you've said only some people are using it, that feature is rarely used by these gamblers. We can say the casinos are doing their part, we also know that these casinos wanted to earn money since at the end of the day, it is still a business, and we are gamblers.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 06, 2020, 12:17:36 PM
It is difficult to prevent a gambling addict from having a limit on his gambling and this is another big disadvantage for the gambling house when they start to have a limit for gamblers. That is why it is still better for us to find a way to avoid gambling because we will also know our mistakes through our big losses. But let's see if the gambling house will do it because it will change big if it happens.

I don't think this will be favorable to a casino.

They are earning through these gamblers going to casinos and if they will be limiting these people, I think people would find a way to do something about it. Gambling might be even banned, people will still find a way to gamble, this will not happen but what I wanted to say is that these gamblers will find a way to keep on gambling no matter what.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: September 06, 2020, 11:08:26 AM
The truth is no one can guess if Bitcoin will rich ATH one day or not. All predictions are probably bad shots, but it doesn't make a sense.

It is called a prediction for a reason.

Everyone has their own, you could do too and if we don't agree on that one, we could say what you're saying doesn't make any sense. I don't care whether people couldn't guess what will be the price of Bitcoin in the future or what they wanted to do with it, I put money into Bitcoin, I make adjustments based on the movements and indicators shown in the price charts.
