741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will mine the last Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2014, 07:02:27 PM
The difficulty will be so high that a pool will mine it, not one individual.

And what is the final reward for a block? 4 coins? 1 coin?

EDIT: read in the other thread the reward will be near zero, so… yeah.

Whoever keeps scooping up the coins from this Beartard on Stamp is going to reap the rewards.
743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 11, 2014, 02:23:39 AM

sweet! it worked!! thanks!!!

(not really, I didn't claim it  Tongue )

but it just got me thinking that anyone who says "thanks" would be linking their avatar account with their public address. so just make a new address before you spend I guess is all I'm saying...

I also advocate that random people just say thanks to obscure the bit-trail. Smiley

Umm I got it... Thanks Adam!

According to Bitcoinwisdom, the week ends in 26.5 hours. Should we expect a push up to try and close out the 1W MACD in green?

I can't wait until this manipulator is done at Stamp. Keeping the price $10 lower than BFX and Huobi.

Well those buys broke out of my wedge, it will be interesting to see if it just gets knocked down again or is the start of something early.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Afternoon (US Time), Where is this this big phucking 'announcement'? on: June 09, 2014, 07:57:27 PM
Who would go out of their way to squeeze out the longs on margin, only to have the same amount or more open/re-open since the point of entry would be lower?
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 09, 2014, 07:04:03 PM

Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "Damn, btc price hasn't budged in a few days.  We need some new FUD panic. We need the price to fall to get cheaper coins!"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "Yeah, but what FUD?  China ban again?"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "Nah, we tried that again a few days ago, didn't work.  People just don't care anymore."
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "Willy bot?"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "Nah.  Old news, plus Gox is way dead."
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "Bitstamp insolvency?"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "Won't work, people know they are pretty solid now."
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "....hmmm..."
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "Wait, I've got it!"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "What?  What?"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #2: "The 51% attack FUD!  People haven't heard about that stuff in a while! Let's resurrect it, I'm sure it'll cause some panic again. We'll post like crazy on Reddit and other sites, and whip this back into a frenzy!"
Troll trader/FUD Spreader #1: "Perfect." <evil grin>

sorry for all the confusion guys.
i will not be deleting any posts here
this is just the new thread because the old was was just too big.

This post is interesting for a couple of reasons:

1) clarification of Adam's philosophy - NOT intending to delete posts;

and

2) raises concerns that maybe Adam will start a new thread - B/c this one is getting "too big."  What is "too big?"

This thread was started because the other thread's page numbers were formatted terribly. This thread is already 7 times the size of the old one. I do not think he will be starting a new one, as this threads page numbers at the top are compact. The other thread, most of the time, showed every single page number at the top and bottom of the page, and took up most of the page.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 07, 2014, 07:48:46 PM
It's funny seeing people, who weren't even around when this thread started, posting about it's content and rules. Almost as funny as the couple of bears who just came out of the woods once the price had stalled calling for a crash.

-----

On another note, since we didn't rise this weekend and didn't fall I expect new money coming on during the week to finally get us moving up again.

Does anyone have an updated chart with the overlays of the previous bubbles and the current line on it? I have no clue how to make one.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 05, 2014, 11:19:24 PM
660 -> 642 -> 700 -> ?
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 05, 2014, 06:25:13 PM
Oh look that huge wall that was at 660 was fake / got pulled.
759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 05, 2014, 06:22:52 PM
I really am not seeing the hype that happened around the last bubble.
I really don't hear word of bitcoin these days outside of the community.

This is pre-bubble.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 05, 2014, 06:06:13 PM
This manipulator is getting on my nerves. His walls aren't even real.

Yup. But you have to wonder, when fake walls are used to suppress the price, might it be a good sign?

Tiny wall @ 655 eaten. Thats BTC100 out of the BTC2500

I consider it a good sign, as I think it is someone keeping the price from MOON! so they can buy more. When they are done or overpowered we should move up. Nobody puts up sell walls, real or fake, other than to stall. If they wanted to cause panic then they would dump, if they wanted to sell then they would spread it out.
