741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: May 05, 2019, 09:13:27 AM
Am I on the right path? I'm here to invest in crypto but since I don't have money to invest I want to start hunting for bounties and airdrops and from there I can use the money to buy better popular coins and tokens ,any chance that these can be achievable ?

Based on your rank and position here on Bitcointalk, I think you should better invest first your time and effort to provide excellent contents that will going to be in your benefit also, you need to make your rank good in order to start doing something such as bounties, and might as well to earn money for you to start investment and trading.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin reach 6000 this month? on: May 05, 2019, 08:42:19 AM
in recent days bitcoin has begun to move up. can this month get a price of 6k or even higher?

Last April, I saw many predicting the price of bitcoin will rise at a price of 5500 and that is proven. and will it be the same now.

and if it becomes a reality, will the altcoin also increase? then what altcoin do you think will rise. At the moment I see only BNB tokens that have greater potential to rise, what do you think?.

I wonder why still many crypto users are wondering how bitcoin can achieve such market price as 6000 dollar this month, since bitcoin already soar high from 5300 dollar to 5800 dollar, that through that, it is not impossible for it to achieve such market price of 6000 this month. I can assure that because, the market trend shows already an indicator that its resistance can be broken really soon.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Adoption = Instant mobile transactions on: May 04, 2019, 06:42:25 AM
I was just discussing this with a friend the other day about how mass adoption of crypto will have be as easy as a venmo request and payment to someone. Right now tech is quite clunky and seeing peoples' keys can be intimidating to any new comer. What do you think will happen?

Do we have any projects in the works that help with this currently? I know Elixxir is in the works to make a messaging and payments app but they are still in alpha. I could see Lightning Network creating some sort of app

We have here on our country that we called, coins, coins pro, and abra. These application let us utilize the cryptocurrencies that we have and to allow us to use it on different transaction such as paying a friend, paying bills, buying items and etc. I hope this apps should be widely adopted further soon on the market.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto suffer from inflation? on: May 04, 2019, 06:26:33 AM
As you all know. now more and more crypto projects are born. So does crypto have inflation and lose its original value?

Inflation is a real thing. When there's more supply than demand, the price of the coin would naturally decrease.
We have seen this happen with many coins and tokens where issuing a large number of coins decreased the overall price of the coin. But whether the increasing number of crypto currencies hurt the overall price growth of other coins is still a debatable matter.

Well in a the concern about the overall price growth affect by the increasing number of crypto, it is I think clear for us to see that, that happens because the market capitalization is getting divided off for these cryptocurrency to have been supported in the market and to stay competitive. In that case, I don't really think it is still debatable.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best decentralized social network based on Blockchain tech? on: May 04, 2019, 05:55:52 AM
Which social network platform based on Blockchain technology do you think is the best? Will it be Steem or the Akasha platform?

With growing concerns about Facebook's privacy measures, it seems that people are looking for other alternatives which are capable of protecting their personal data better. So far, Steem is the pioneer in the decentralized social media space, and it has attracted thousands of people worldwide. However, it's still far from behind as centralized social networks like Facebook and Twitter are in the lead.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Any recommendations or suggestions related to said decentralized social networks will be highly appreciated. Also, I would appreciate if you could let me know of other new alternative social networks (apart from Steem and Akasha) that make use of Blockchain technology. Smiley

Honestly, putting up my accounts on facebook doesn't really makes me feel good about it. Though, we need to secure our accounts, we still need to put it on cloud if there's no way we can store it on a tangible paper for the QR code that we can easily scan anytime. But for now, I think facebook is not really a threat when we talk about crypto.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really better than Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2019, 05:24:26 AM
Is this really better than Bitcoin?

I just saw this thread of Mayapreferred https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126669.0 and this https://www.fatbtc.com/
They are better than Bitcoin? Is it good to invest with them? I want to know if anyone invested already?

I think you should better add the name of the cryptocurrencies that you are pertaining here, so that we can easily figure out what they are, and to say, when to the capacities and capabilities of bitcoin, we couldn't just compare it to other cryptocurrencies as we know already what it is capable of knowing the fact that it is now getting the best of it right now.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An old but unexplored project on: May 03, 2019, 04:32:28 AM
I've been tracking Decent(Dct) for a while. One of the first blockchain projects established in 2015. What are your thoughts? Anybody investing in or thinking of doing it? I didn't see much talking about here.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/decent/
Maybe if you are holding a token of DCT before, and remember that you need to get the best out of it. It is the best thing that you bring it back on the market again. Hypes basically will be a good factor for investors to look again at that project, in that case, they might have a willingness to make that project revived, and the best part is that, it can have a better value again.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market situation on: May 03, 2019, 03:55:22 AM
What are your views on the current state of Crypto currency markets ? How does the future looks like?

Are you asking on a holistic type of question? Because for me, being a very much satisfied with the benefits that I can get through cryptocurrency, I think there is a big future that awaits for us, investors and bounty hunters. But if I am going to ask if I am certain about it, no not really. Because Scam projects contributes to the factor that, that might not happen.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investors realizing that IEO is a silent scam? on: May 03, 2019, 03:19:01 AM
It has been going three days Bittrex has launched IEO for "ocean" coin. But seems still now 17% remain of IEO token. Last IEO was closed within few seconds. Wondering why still not sold out current IEO on Bittrex. Is investors realizing that IEO is silent scam? Because on last IEO on Bittrex lots of investor's got REKT. Perhaps that's why investors worried about their funds.

What do you think? There is any other reason?

and what? you think all ieo's must be closed in few seconds? ieo's ecamig popular, so they will last longer, people will think what they wat to buy.
In the end of the day, it is still the project that is the best that will going to last longer on the market. Even, if they are launched in a different platform such as IEO, ICO, STO,and etc. We should bare in mind that others are just relying on hypes in order to get the best out of the market these days.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is patience really a personal business in Crypto? on: May 03, 2019, 02:30:15 AM
Now and then I offen see forks who I know to be new in the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain making reasonable profits in bounties as well has investment, is it really smart work or patience?

Basically it was the combination of Work, and patience. Also, the help of their colleague in trading as well. For the bounties, they are not really in-to the patience section because, they can do what ever they wanted to, and knowing the fact that not all bounties are paying, they should think about the bounty as a fortune.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 02, 2019, 01:11:42 PM
So bad that this happen and this in my opinion affect the price, i think people never but never should hold large amount on any exchange, if they will withdraw it on their wallet will be more ok, and just send them when they want to trade or to sell. And also who hold good amount of coins should buy a hardware wallet.

Well, basically, there are no reason why people especially, the investors will going to always withdraw their fund on the exchange. On the first place, they need to keep their investment to grow, and for withdrawing it after a profit, they just cut out their opportunity to accumulate more profit. That is why, we couldn't blame the investors but the team behind these.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't follow the hype on: May 02, 2019, 12:41:30 PM
well,, maybe you are right,
but, most of people will follow the hype, because they think by ivesting in crypto with huge hype, they can make a profit in short period time my friend

No dear, the reason why people are following the hype is not just because they can make profit of it that shallow thinking. If we are going to think about it, we can say, we should follow the hype because others are doing it so, and that is what makes it important, we should go whenever there are large markets, and through that, we have the assurance of profit.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question to Bitcoiners: What do you think about IEO? on: May 02, 2019, 12:10:57 PM
I think bitcoiners cannot worry about ieos
Because icos has done more exploit than ieos and it’s not even in the same level yet

Bitcoin stands out universally; let’s respect thatb
I do consider your opinion valid, but considering the status of bitcoin, it was already been established, and comparing it to an IEO in the market which is just way right in the beginning of their career isn't appropriate or matched to bitcoin. Well, we can see whether a coin would be successful with their form of launching through these ICO process.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's Have Been Getting EXPOSED! Finally... on: May 01, 2019, 06:15:14 AM
If any of you are still interested in ICO's (I hope the answer is no), then you should know that 99.9% of them are complete garbage. They've been lying about the amount of funds that they raised, project details, project intentions ect. In other words, the majority of these companies are garbage dumpster fires. Companies like Swachhcoin (dumpster fire) got exposed recently on Tipestry. They've been deleting comments in their Telegram that exposed their company as a scam. However, Tipestry allows users to comment on the app as an extension. This way, Swachhcoin and other ICO's can't delete comments that expose their project for what they are...which is garbage.

From what reliable source have you just harvested all of these information? I would rather say, if we are going to think of it critically, I think there would be a hard time for us knowing the truth about how ICOS are behaving on the market. I better suggest if we stop on advertising ICOs nowadays as they are now too deceiving unlike on our time before on 2017.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You don't have to mine Crypto to Earn Crypto - Masternodes [MN] on: May 01, 2019, 05:36:51 AM
MNs used to be a darling of people in the space, but looking at the performance of most of these MNs coin tis year, people have started liquidating their holdings has has profit shrinks another thing to note is that the block rewards is also reducing for most projects

I have found out that, there are so many masternode threads and topics that are coming out of the cryptocurrency forum like these for the moment, I would like to ask, is this some sort of an alternative to mining? I don't think it will be good if I just enter the masternode world without even asking for it here.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: May 01, 2019, 05:05:30 AM
If I can't find a bounty project that's already listed and trading I'm done joining bounties.
No matter how reasonable a project might be if the teams decided to stay anonymous I will pass by
Whitepapers and roadmaps aren't enough anymore, developers should be ready to face the public and be ready to show me they are ready to work ,not experimental on 'it might became success or failure .

What if we bear in mind that ICO phase on cryptocurrency is already done? If you are just going to keep on finding projects and you just keep on finding worthless, I think your time is just being wasted. What about to try something different? Join a referral programs, not an airdrop, before I've heard about the coinbase, XRP.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram forced invite on: May 01, 2019, 04:36:19 AM
So I noticed I've been forcefully invited by bots into multiple telegram community which I never wanted to join.. and most of these communities are either ponzi schemes or from #icos which claim to be legit companies with one or two things to offer in the crypto space..

What can you say about this??
Can you really believe a good project with good concept would forcefully invite you into their community without any prior notice??

I think what you can really do is to report them as SCAM, and there you can get rid of them. For now, there is not feature that will going to support full privacy since telegram is already known to be one of a decentralized media platform to consider. For the mean time, you might also leave group chats for them not to trace your username.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your base currency if you trade in alt-coins? on: April 30, 2019, 05:57:44 PM
I often use BTC, I invest it for long term ,no matter it dump or pump , I hold it tightly.

Basically if you have a base coin to consider, there is always a corresponding pair that should it should have I guess? To consider, you might lose an investment if you just maintain it on bitcoin, not allowing any stable coins to help you save your investment in times of a downfall in the market.

For me, I want a high volatility base currency which is BTC/USDT as well.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No best year in crypto currency on: April 30, 2019, 05:29:52 PM
There are always threads on the forum referencing the following

This is the best year to join crypto currency

This is the best time to invest blah blah

There is no year that crypto currency won't make pple smile (profits) and cry (losses), simply because crypto currency cannot make everyone happy at the same time.

For the best time and best opinion I can provide, it is the matter of decision that will determine whether a person will going to be happy or not, depending on the choices that they will put they mind into, it is not always the investment on the low and the let go on the high that matters, it is the contentment of a trader that will make him happy on his decision.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of FAKE volume reporting on: April 30, 2019, 03:38:00 PM
There are many exchanges that are faking volume. Some reports show that there is up to 90% wrong volume reports. With market developing i am sure there will be more strict rules and penalties.

I think this is the next step in crypto for further development.

There should be some index be issued based on volume to track real volume of top 10 or top 20 exchanges who should be then monitored by some external company.

I hope also CoinMaketCap will take this issue into consideration soon enough to get some real data on smaller exchanges as well.

The innovations really are growing in the market, and there is nothing they can do in order to be competitive enough to attract customers than to fake their trading volumes on their respective exchange platforms. I think if they are really good to say, after they have gotten their customers trade on their platform, they should stop the operation of fake volumes.
