7401  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 14, 2017, 10:37:27 AM
Bitcoin will die because it's community is loyal, stupid and greedy. Satoshi never intended for BTC to be the world's money, he introduced a new technology.  He was aware btc could not survive due to lack of updates.
Outright lie. This has nothing to do with what Satoshi had or had not intended.

Monero I think offers nothing that isn't being done better by Zcash.
Centralized, corporation coin with a built in master key? No thanks.

I'd put my money on Dash and Zcash due to virtue but I haven't seen the crypto market being driving by rationalism, just brand loyalty.
Zcash is nonsense (as explained above) and DASH is a scam and processes less USD in 24 hours than DOGE. Roll Eyes

Lauda, you're a joke. Btc can't even transfer money.  Can't due instant payments. Can't combat the double spend scams and will never be updated to increase capacity or resist quantum computing. Not to mention the problems that will come in the future do to the laws of the universe governing decay....
Said the newbie account deeply invested in some shitcoins hoping to get a few pennies. You seem to have been living in a cave, and have not heard of any solutions being delivered.

I agree that if you exist you will someday because there's nothing permanent in the world. As I cans see it is true that bitcoin transactions nowadays are getting slower and slow because of high demand I guess. The value of bitcoin is nit stable sometimes it is good and sometimes not. I think bitcoin will not die even if it's transactions are changing. Person who are incharge will find a better and enough way to solve that issue.
Classic shitpost.
7402  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 14, 2017, 10:30:12 AM
Bitcoin is gonna die soon because of too high fees and too slow transactions.
Bullshit.

It is becoming a very bad quality payment system, with no relevant pros in using it.
And bullshit. Either your understanding behind the fundamentals laid upon by Bitcoin, the very same ones that give it value (being "cheap" isn't one of them), or you are paid for this nonsensical propaganda.

Bitcoin developers will solve these scaling problems and Bitcoin returns to be the cheap and fast payment system it was some years ago.
Already solved to some extent: Segwit -> LN -> Signature aggregation + Schnorr signatures > Sidechains > TumbleBit > Mimblewimble.

Most of these altcoins are already far better than BTC, regarding technical specs, confirmation time, privacy, etc. Dash, Monero, DOGE, LTC, etc. all of them are better than Bitcoin.
You are a uninformed baboon. None of these altcoins are better than BTC Roll Eyes. DASH is a scam, Monero has worse scaling properties than Bitcoin, DOGE is a joke (fun one, but still a joke), and LTC is the silver to the gold (Bitcoin) and is almost identical (aside of having Segwit + LN already).

Bitcoin transaction will become less and less because its users will just hold their coins. Thus BTC would become a sort of digital asset, with no actual use as a payment system. (Note that Satoshi thought of Bitcoin mainly as an innovative payment system)
Yet, the number of transactions seems to be "more and more".

.
People will get tired of cryptocoins and move back to the ol' banking system.
You came to Crypto for the wrong reasons if you think this.
7403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can we admit segwit SF is never going to get 95% approval? on: May 14, 2017, 10:22:34 AM
Okay, BillyBob. Can you give one good technical reason why separating out witness data is a good idea and why?
How about you watching the video from the scaling conference from 2015? It is a *good technical reason* because it solves all the things that are clearly listed (including cons) on the Bitcoin Core website. Re-writing this list in a post is redundant.

People like me don't necessarily not like Core, we just realize they are working for the banks at this point. No, they don't literally work at BoA, silly buns, they are getting paid by big corporations like AXA that represent the same interests though.
This is complete and utter bullshit. Not only "are they" not working for the banks, they are not being paid by corporations (startup funding != being paid by) and Blockstream (if that's what you're referring to with the AXA propaganda bullshit) only represents a a part of the Bitcoin Core development[1].

As far as I can tell, the only rational reason for separating out witness data would be if you wanted to restrict access to it later in a takeover scheme.
Nonsense as always.

7404  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sos-dev - Broken ICO coin with escrow without trust and possibly been scamming on: May 14, 2017, 10:14:35 AM

Using this user as escrow is the equivalent to using no escrow at all.
7405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2017, 09:56:43 AM
True, but the particular way that it's volatile may scare a lot of weak hands and institutional investors who are used to more stable growth.
You are telling me things that I have known for years. I don't really care about people led by emotions such as the two types listed by you.

Bitcoin volatility is kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy - people get scared of the volatility which makes them panic sell/buy, making it more volatile.
I can agree with this.

Low?  It's only low compared to alts - compared to stocks, currencies, PMs, commodities.... it doesn't look it!
You do realize that it recently, albeit briefly, had a lower volatility than the Euro? Anything sub 5% in the historic volatility (as per that website) is great. Furthermore, Bitcoin seems to be on the track to reach standard currency volatility.

7406  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Bounty Stealer]: syahril on: May 14, 2017, 09:50:07 AM
Their failure to even explain the situation pretty much confirms it. The user has sent me this useless PM:

Even those who use google translator/fake twitter/facebook accounts should be negged as that's cheating the bounty campaign owners. Do DT members leave negative ratings on their accounts too? Where to report such members?
If you can prove its cheating by using google translate or whatever other fake bullshit cheating methods then pm me your proof and the users profile. Warning though, if you're proof isn't solid ill be negging you for wasting my time.
I concur. Please keep sending me such people with reasonable proof.
7407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2017, 09:15:40 AM
Impressive rebound to 'normal' so fast  Shocked
I must say that it is. My own "best-case" scenario was sticking above $1700 for a while, but here we are already around $1800. Prepare for the negative comments of the people who sold at the bottom though. Cheesy

But it was a daily volatility of around 5-15% . At this heights, we need to get used to relate it to its percentage change and not the single dollars change. Imagine when Bitcoin prices in the several thousands.
The volatility is pretty low nowadays. Historical volatility is less than 3%.
7408  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where to find/How do to use an escrow on this forum?? on: May 14, 2017, 08:49:22 AM
Don't use Lauda's service, a service which I seriously doubt may scam anytime. Maybe use SebastianJu or Ognasty
Ironically, a scammer wrote that I may scam. You've started writing lies about me now, trying to defame me?
 Lips sealed

Lauda may even give you a negative trust rating because you asked for escrow.
Only if your name starts with 'Margon'. Roll Eyes
7409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Core Developers won't compromise on: May 13, 2017, 04:54:17 PM
To summarize: There is no need to compromise further because no change works in their favor.
Whose favor are we talking about exactly?

They cannot honestly and openly admit "yes we want to change Bitcoin from Satoshi's peer to peer cash into a settlement network" because it would be so radical that it would have a high probability of getting backlash from the community. Therefore, they have opted to be sneaky about it.
Stop quoting Satoshi out of context to please your shilling overlords. Roll Eyes
7410  Other / Meta / Re: [SMAS] Signature Managers against Spam (light version) on: May 13, 2017, 04:41:08 PM
i agree that if you and yahoo would start this you would be accused of self propagation because you are both managers also .
As you've mentioned it, the problem stems from several things. I could objectively asses and *destroy* a lot of "managers" (destroy as describe how and why they are bad). Even this would cause a lot of whining as they are reluctant to learn and actually do proper work.

so who in their right mind would do this and how?
or should i doo like all the sheep do and look the other way and pretend this is not happening?
You are free to start your own thread regarding this, and I think it would be most suitable in the Reputation section (depending on the exact contents). You could do a "Signature Campaign Manager Overview" with ranking or a "Signature Campaign Manager blacklist". Whilst I won't start something like this myself (as per reasons mentioned in the last few posts), I would probably help you or anyone who creates such a thread in any way I can.

7412  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers who never repaid loans. Please do everyone a favour and paint them red. on: May 13, 2017, 03:40:57 PM
Hello!I never took a loan from you but you have left me neg feedback. Can you explain what this is all about?
Now that you mention it, I can't find any loan request from you nor a quoted post (in case that you've deleted yours). Maybe the OP has mistakenly added you or the loan was done privately? I'll wait for them to respond to this before doing anything.
7413  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kumala - sending pm's asking for a 1 BTC loan for vircurex on: May 13, 2017, 03:14:25 PM
An edited post is usually NOT sufficient to prove ownership, but I'll remove my tag. I cannot speak for other people though.
Due to their very childish and untrustworthy behavior following the *hack*, I am not going to remove my negative. Maybe after a sufficient amount of time has passed, and after the user apologizes to everyone else who they have neg. rated, then I may consider changing it to neutral.

This decision is final. Therefore, do not send me PMs unless you want to get blocked.
7414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: | 🔥 [BSD] BitSend Signature & Avatar Campaign 🔥 | [OPEN] on: May 13, 2017, 02:24:52 PM
Hi Lauda ! Could you please change my payout status in BitSend Avatar Campaign - I am Legendary now, please update my rank to Legendary. Thank You !
You will get paid in accordance to the rank which you had this period. You will get paid in the Legendary Rank tier only when you are said rank for the full duration of a period. I will update everything tomorrow.
7415  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: trojan extortioner on: May 13, 2017, 09:43:46 AM
So I strongly doubt, that this is due to torrents.
I just explained the reason to you. Read my post:

There is an exploit that was discovered and used by the NSA, which can infiltrate Windows systems via SMB: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Message_Block.
It affects most if not all versions of Windows. You don't need to download anything to get infected. Read more about said tools: https://wikileaks.org/ciav7p1/
7416  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked kikeda on: May 13, 2017, 09:40:18 AM
Hi Lauda, I made lots of transactions through private messages which the mods has probably access on hopefully.
Moderators don't have access to that data, admins primarily do. You could ask one of the people who were the other party in said transactions to post one or multiple addresses that you used here.
7417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: trojan extortioner on: May 13, 2017, 09:38:02 AM
Sir I think you got this malware on downloading torrent files? Did you download the movies in the piratebay.org? If yes.. Then the malware really came from there.
No. You do not need to download anything to get this ransomware. There is an exploit that was discovered and used by the NSA, which can infiltrate Windows systems via SMB: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Message_Block.

I have experience twice downloading malware but not that strong.
malware is the general term and not specific enough for this.

The malware that I downloaded automatically installs Pop-up Advertisement even if your not using Internet browser, the  Pop-Up ads shows every 3 minutes.
That is adware.

I use Antivirus but still not working. So the only thing that I can do is to format my Desktop. I'm Glad that our country is not affected by that malware.
It looks like you are not experienced with IT and shouldn't post about this at all (hence:"Stop shit posting and do research first.").

Well, it's not only  UK
On the Russian-speaking kaspersky forum, I see messages from kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Ukraine.

According to data malwaretech, more than 110,000 computers worldwide are already infected.

detail: https://intel.malwaretech.com/botnet/wcrypt
I did not say that it was limited to the UK, I just linked one of the first and major articles about it. It looks like someone has managed to shut it down (or at least that's what some sources claim) by registering a domain which is actually a kill-switch built into the ransomware.
7418  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] Lauda Escrow Services on: May 13, 2017, 08:18:53 AM
Reserved. I did not expect replies or at least not this soon. I may keep a list of deals or just the number & totals.

Don't be afraid to trust Lauda with funds! Good luck with this service.
Thanks. I was already offering this, albeit not really publicly besides being mentioned in the thread from minerjones.

very good escrow, Lauda is a professional and precise escrower..
thank you
Thanks and you're welcome. Tongue
7419  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Coming Soon] Second Edition Keyois Capsules, & limited edition sterling silver on: May 13, 2017, 08:10:28 AM
*edit, to those replying in a completely off topic way, please some some reproducible and demonstrable evidence to back your viewpoint and you'll get a lot further with your attempts at convincing other to your own opinion.
Our posts are definitely not off-topic. This is a product from Keyois, and comments regarding the actions of Keyois are very relevant. It seems that you are spamming pretty much everyone from a pre-defined list of people who "showed interest", even though I have been completely against your product. Let me repeat myself one more time: I will not be buying anything from a BU supporting company and will tell everyone else to stay away from such companies. I have put you on PM-ignore to avoid more unwanted reservation of products PMs.

Case closed.

According to this: https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=khqf7dat, it does not look like the account has ever posted a Bitcoin address. Therefore, it will be very improbable or impossible to prove that it was hacked/that you owned it.
