7401  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: February 07, 2016, 11:34:13 PM
I really thought there were technical issues.. I asked horus in chat if everything was safe and I will get my coins back he assured me I would..  that's why I kept my coins in there..
I'm a trust worthy person and when the mods in chat assured me it's merely a few tech issues I believed them..

Anyway... I won't trust any more exchanges again Wink took 3000 pounds to know that..

It makes me feel a bit sick. But I try not think about it. I hope those mother fuckers get some karma. They were holding lots of terrorists money which makes me think they may not be as snug as they should be
Horus had a lot of people fooled. He abused the trust people had in him.
The fact that the scam was justified by Horus in the name of catching terrorists is particularly disturbing. Using our fears to push us to hand over private information, while at the same time holding our funds hostage. Its truly despicable.

Really if you didnt get coins out in the lead up to closure you must have your head in the sand, I used Crypsty alot but after a month or so of FUD figured best to take all coins out via smaller Alts.. not putting through withdraws on BTC/LTC for over a month is usually a pretty visible sign.

Amazingly, Leroy Fodor didn't have any issues entering and exiting Cryptsy all the way up to its final closure.

They live on a spherical Earth spreading the Flat Earth doctrine to draw attention away from their existence. Collectively, they're Trump supporters knowing that he'll be elected as the next president of the US, thus the ensuing escapades can be enjoyed during the time slot vacated by TBBT on CBS.

looks like investigations are underway

https://99bitcoins.com/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/

Quote

The documents from FinCen contain several screenshots of Cryptsy staff members on a popular bitcoin-related forum making claims about the validity of licenses, which were then verified by the agency on six separate occasions. Cryptsy later denied the posts publicly, but the various social media posts within the document attachments were certified as authentic by various federal computer forensics teams.

One organization began working with information from the Department of Homeland Security, and initiated an investigation of bank transfers to several banking institutions via sealed subpoenas. The records allege that the company platform was used  in money transfers to accounts linked with suspected terrorists. The document further alleges that Cryptsy had been used as a means of money laundering for some time, and that the company was aware of this activity and allowed it to continue.

 linked with suspected terrorists

they will hunt them till the end of days if this true

One day, Paul Vernon announces how secure Cryptsy is and that they report ALL suspicious activities to SARs, but two weeks later after the event Paul hadn't a clue as to whom to report the approximately thirteen million dollar reduction to. Sounds to me like the act of a terrorist and that Paul Vernon and his clan should have microscopes stuck up their asses.

<In re. the post above this one, I haven't a clue who that guy is at this penning.>

Bye-Bye, Litecoins
Cryptsy doesn't reference the fate of the missing litecoins. But they appear to have been cashed out: On July 2, 2014, someone dumped exactly 300,000 litecoins - quite a coincidence - onto an exchange all at once, which was such a large volume of coins that it temporarily drove down the price of each individual litecoin from $8.50 to just $2.

<EDIT: [In spite of fuckin' up my joke below], the time equates to ~7:30 PM Cryptsy Florida time (EDT/EST).>

Paul Vernon: Some may ask why we didn’t report this to the authorities when this occurred, and the answer is that we just didn’t know what happened, didn’t want to cause panic, and were unsure who exactly we should be contacting, so we opted to turn the site back on after shutting it down for four minutes knowing full well that we'll be able to make up the reduction of funds caused by the event with future profits, thus making everybody happy and whole. Once the site was back online, we here at the office sang the Happy Happy Joy Joy song in three part harmony and naked, then we broke for dinner enjoying the haggis that John MacPherson aka Horus sent us from The Great White North.

Got a score of 17...so about average.  I imagine I could manipulate the test into giving me a high score though.  I'll try it:

Cryptsy is like a small family and I know everyone very well. None of us would ever do anything like the accusations in that article.

Mullick was duly pointing out that he and his small family wouldn't have done anything like the accusations in that article, "that article" penned way before the event was ever brought to light. Mullick knowing his family very well must have known about the hack given that there were supposedly ONLY two others in the office, Paul Vernon being being one of them. Needless the say, the accusations penned back in the day were eclipsed by the most recent revelations, of which will be eclipsed by future revelations once the birds start singing led by the Nettles Lark.

I was on some skype chat group and I have ended up having Leroy Fodor in my contacts... Who is this guy I see his name mentioned a lot on here.

See my sig. TL;DR version: Cryptocurrency's number one serial liar, like Marshall Long, claiming to have been involved with Bitcoin since 2009, with proofs from the Internet depicting otherwise.

I do not believe the coinfire article to be true. If it is and these government agencies believe these accusations we would love to open our books to them to show them they are not. But the facts are, we have invested a lot of time and money into a strong compliance team. We have never been contacted by any government agency about any of our actions. We try to go above and beyond any regulators expectations of us.

Mullick: Likewise, our small Cryptsy family NEVER contacted any government agency about our multi-million-dollar reduction event because that would be considered going below regulators expectations of us, whereas we're an "above and beyond" entity thingy.

In essence, John MacPherson (Horus) is chicken shit.

You guys ready to have some fuckin' fun with the dude who helped Paul Vernon rip off millions under the auspices of trust? I am! HAHAHA

The game is called "Pin the Tail on the Horus".

The top pic was from 2012 where John MacPherson (Horus TS) had to stay under the aprons outta the sun. The immediate above pic from 2014 has Horus donning a apron shielding a newbie from the sun.
