Wow, what a place this bitcoinworld. Casascius is selling like crazy! I also ordered mine, and got posted my shipping info very promptly. Thank you very much, molecular! Even though you can get 2 * 1oz Silver Maple Leafs delivered to you for LESS than 1 * 1 BTC Casascius coin, not many are taking the bait ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=151800.0 post #50 Be sure to pick yours while the coins last.. gasp.. before they collect spiderwebs and patina ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) hehe. Just for peoples info, I ordered from rpietila a couple of silver eagles and will report in his thread once I receive them. Can't vouch for him yet, but the offer sure is awesome. Where else can you buy silver at spot price without paying VAT for bitcoins? @rpietila: people here understandably are very careful with trusting people. It'll take some time and some reports from people receiving good silver from you for your sales to really pick up. Be patient. I hope you'll still keep prices nice and low once that is the case. Thanks for doing this, btw. If you deliver what you promise you (and your company) are a great addition to the bitcoin community.

Private message send but I have another question: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FJqQpI8z.png&t=663&c=HZuDFXRlxp_2DA) The coins that are you selling (1BTC) are the one on the left or the one on the right? The pic on the shows a series 1 coin from the hologram side. I don't have any of these left unfortunately. Sold my last one for BTC 2.0. The one on the right could be series 1 or series 2 (the brass coins itself is the same for both). I'm selling series 2 coins. The backside (with hologram) can be seen in OP, the front-side looks like in the pic on the right side. Hope that answers your question.

Hi bitpirate Hi,
I'd be interested, sounds good... but, a few questions:
- Why are these so much cheaper than the casascius website? What's your relationship there? - Can you do any gift wrapping? If not, what does the package look like?
Because i bought 100 coins for 110 Bitcoins. No special relationship to Mike. Check his site. Anyone gets the deal. No gift wrapping currently, sorry.

So it seems this time weekend dippers turned out to be weekend hikers and will have to buy for more then they have sold for.
Well, the weekend isn't over but it looks to be about a break even to buy back right now, then less fees for a sub 1% loss. At the time of the post (late Wednesday (West), mid-day Thursday (East)) the exchange rate was something like $47.80. The last trade at this very moment was $47.52. There was a dip, down to $46.05 and many opportunities to buy back at a small profit when it was under $47 and was looking quite apparent that this weekend was not going to see a big selloff. The thing the weekend dip strategy couldn't have seen in advance was the IMF going batshit crazy like they did. Now I gotta figure out how to reverse some other positions where I'm on the wrong side before Europeans rush the exits and discover bitcoin as a new home for their money. Imf going crazy? Didn't keep up-to-date. What's that about?

If you are all in, therefore cannot buy, and do not intend to sell, you have no share in deciding bitcoin's future. Your (in)action will not cause the price to do anything. You can just hope. You said his action would be to sell and that was what you based your possible outlook on. If he was an indicator for a sizeable enough part of the long dudes (which is possible) he would've just invalidated your outlook.

There more people are touting their hope to see $50...
...the less they will see it. Why? Everybody hoping for price to rise is already committed, and cannot help the price to rise by buying more. The ones that could cause the price to rise (such as I) don't want it to rise, as they want to buy cheaper.
Therefore, the more people I see wishing for a price rise, the less I will be helping them. If I see too many such people, I will start selling, and then you will, and then the price will not indeed rise but rather fall. How about that?
That would be great because I have some fiat waiting on exchanges for that case. Quite a bit of fiat actually. This fact and the one that I was one of the people touting the horn hints at the possibility that your assumption that everybody hoping for a rise is 100% commited might be inaccurate. However, the muteness of the bears is quite astonishing, maybe you're right and most of them got back in... Thanks for sharing your thoughts, rpietila. You seem to be on your way to become a well-known and respected community member quite fast.

You all ready to see 50 this week?
I heard this same thing about a week ago. Then the chain got all forked up. Let's hope nothing of the kind happens this week.
