7421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Melonport on: February 10, 2017, 08:37:23 AM
IIRC this is suppose to be a competitor to Iconomi, correct? Just a general statement, not saying its purpose is that.

Yes it is, Melon port and taas will be the competitor of iconomi

Does Iconomi let anyone set up a porfolio with whatever assets they want, or are the iconomi portfolios all centrally run by the iconomi team?
It's really clear, fella. It is the main target of iconomi platform but in this time they're on the middle way of their journey. So melon is also really promising for me.

ICONOMI OPEN FUND MANAGEMENT (OFM) PLATFORM is the final stage of ICONOMI. The OFM platform will enable everyone to introduce and manage their own crypto investment funds and attract investors who share the same investing philosophy. While the OFM platform will be open to everyone, the integrity of the platform will be safeguarded by ICONOMI with a comprehensive system of checks & balances.

I agree. I think both have a lot of potential and each has a separate niche.
But i was feeling curious about his crowdfunding. does melon port using the fixed rate for his crowdsale? but i can say if the other like taas don't make me feeling interesting with it. I really like gavin wood on the melonport.  Grin
7422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Litecoin have a future? on: February 09, 2017, 12:01:21 PM
http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.php

Lite coin will be trying the game changer through the fake SegWit's hype, or it will be the another fail. We will see it ASAP, but the current result still on 3.05% for SegWit supporters and does it mean good for litecoin bagholders? I don't think so.   Kiss
7423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LePen coin scam Alert on: February 09, 2017, 10:04:22 AM
They try to keep a half of the money supply to dump it on the market and that's totally fuckin big scam soon. Dump up to a half of the total coin supply it's really terrible.  Shocked
7424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What it's going to happen with ETH? What do you think? on: February 09, 2017, 10:01:43 AM
Casper PoS system and I think a half of the ethereum is PoS. with invisible form. They're in the steady way of his price, and you must know if ethereum won't give anything for bitcoin. otherwise, the bitcoin is very crucial for ethereum.

Yes it is, Melon port and taas will be the competitor of iconomi, but I may think if melon port is better than taas. After I was seeing Gavin Woon already in there, and this will being bigger soon.

But is this project based on the Ether platform? Iconomi will having a friend.  Roll Eyes

I doubt this would be a friendship competition, Looking at Melon project, I think the project is more ambitious than ICONOMI, though competition is good for the space and this may turn to survival of the fittest, I know most of these projects would die soon and the best will survive because it space is getting too rowdy.

Yeah I see, Gavin wood has made it seems like the legit project soon. Both are ambitious project, iconomi already show his development of their project.
Hold 10% of byteball shares.

But i think melon will also be huge.

This coin is so crap, this is like FUD. and poloniex will never be added the crap coin, at least there are some crap coins on there. Never. This just a pump and dump coin. Eh, The title was directing into FUD purpose.

7429  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Trading in Chinese Yuan Drops to One-Third of Market in 30 Days on: February 08, 2017, 02:53:30 PM
Doesn't seem btc price cares..

https://news.bitcoin.com/china-bitcoin-volume-2017/

China’s big three exchanges announced they would end zero fee trades and margin trading Tuesday due to increased scrutiny by the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), leading to a collapse in Chinese bitcoin trading volumes. The changes come on the heels of Beijing’s implementation of new capital controls in 2016.

In late January, China’s big three bitcoin exchanges – BTCC, OKCoin, and Huobi – agreed informally to charge 0.2% fees on both sides of bitcoin-denominated trades. Since the announcement of the fees, to be implemented Tuesday, China’s bitcoin volumes have collapsed. Once comprising 99% of bitcoin trades, the market share has collapsed to 33% in one month, according to Bitcoin data website Bitcoinity, compiled by Chris Burniske of Ark Invest.

After PBOC has done an audit to the chinese exchange site and a lot of the fake volume has made by the chinese exchange is disappearing right now. But the current news PBOC already meet with more chinese exchange site.
7430  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: February 08, 2017, 02:48:58 PM
Well I don't really have a strategy but when I do some investment I will depend on it's daily profit specially in some HYIP,

For example the sites gives 3.6 daily profit I would only put my money for about 20 days and withdraw all of it including my own investment.
HYIP = first come. If you're late to withdraw your money and I can turn into the scam site and run away with your money. but I didn't see the HYIP is actually running over 20 days. Fuckin Ponzi scam site.  Angry
It's also including on the MLM site.
7431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is fee still high (6000 unconfirmed transactions) on: February 07, 2017, 03:42:19 PM
I dont know about everyone else but I made 3 transactions today and all of them got 3 confirmations in under 30 minutes. I never thought I ever had a transaction happen that fast before.
It based on your fees, but how many your fees dude? I believe if you're trying to put over than the general fees. I mean you was putting the higher fees rather than auto generate fees in your transaction.
Currently over 60k unconfirmed transaction.  Shocked

7432  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think should be the right Bitcoin price as of Februray 2017? on: February 07, 2017, 03:37:13 PM
Hi,
I'm really curious what in your personal opinion the price should be - where do you think we should be in means of adoption and infrastructure.

We currently have price of about $1000 per 1 BTC, do you consider it as about right, overvalued or undervalued in all and all?

Please vote and if possible please explain why you voted in this way below.

Thanks.

You have seen it over $1000, and it is real $1000. but bitcoin is on his steady way. In this month the price of bitcoin will be stable on $1050 - $1100. based on some news about the adoption of bitcoin. it may grow more.
7433  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 07, 2017, 03:14:17 PM
I wont pay any big value to make my transaction to boost i do pay the general fee that will get my transaction confirmed into the next 6 blocks, i do trade small values soo makes no sense to  raise my fee just to speed the transaction, something i can wait a bit.
How are you doing it right now? the current result for the unconfirmed transaction by blockchain already touch over 60.000 transactions and it's mean the general value will get stuck.
Is it make you feeling convenience? I don't think so.
7434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the symbol for Altcoins? on: February 07, 2017, 01:31:07 PM
Just curious to know if there is a symbol for all or some Altcoins like bitcoin symbol BTC ? I know all of them have ticker like BTC, ETH, LSK etc but do etherium, lisk, augur etc have symbol also ?
Not all of the coins have their own symbol. there are some already own their symbol. Majority of the long-term coin already have the familiar symbol with us such as ethereum symbol.

Ξ = Ethereum
7435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: elysium ELS is the next big thing!!? on: February 07, 2017, 11:26:17 AM
Hope you are not missing the train guys, it's making new highs, less than 1 btc of sells left under 0.0001

But yes I'm.  The train has already gone and it looks like the new dump and pumps coin. How can you teach me about the unique innovation has been released by the project? I don't see something is innovation in my mind.
My guess the next pumping will be coming soon. Just try for little bucks.
7436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 06, 2017, 06:56:29 AM
You've put your money into bitcoin and it's already was including on investing your money in bitcoin. You must learn more about it, I think you're the complete beginner. The important thing about to keep your investment is always secure in your cold storage.
7437  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: February 06, 2017, 02:39:39 AM
Someone has said bitcoin is of no value, in my heart I think they said is wrong, I always think that bitcoin is valuable, but I didn't understand what is the origin of the value of bitcoin, why accept more people, its value will rise? If you have other ideas, please discuss.
The origin value of bitcoin is on his advantages. But it will be useless if you're giving a serious feedback for whom are a lack of knowledge about bitcoin. With a lot of adoption will make bitcoin has needed by a lot of the people around the world. and for further information please read about the economy 101.
7438  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 06, 2017, 02:33:37 AM
I was voting for 0.001 because to prevent my transaction had become deprioritized in the bitcoin network and can get stuck everytime.  and i put a lot of the fees to prevent it and it's make me feeling convenience for my transaction will be running for fast.
7439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is banned on: February 06, 2017, 02:14:26 AM
How can bitcoin become global when not so few countries, including Russia and China, ban it?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/the-russian-bitcoin-ban-is-on-indefinite-hold/

And all of the sadly news have released by the chinese are totally bullshit. Don't bring yourself into all of the FUD, dude. May you see venezuela?

as far I know Bitcoin is not banned in Venezuela, at least according to the law, but I don't know if is restricted or something.

of course in all totalitarians regimes everything is forbidden including what is allowed, so I don't know if Bitcoin is forbidden in practice

Venezuela totally fully with a joke.
