7421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: August 24, 2018, 11:03:00 AM
Cryptocurrency and the main media are always at the opposite end of the spectrum.  Bitcoin is solid and the fiat price is of no relevance to it's value.  Bitcoin is doing well at it's core functionalities and that is all that matters.
Fiat price does make it more popular per se. Based on what the majority of no-coiners know it the price of bitcoin that matters to them. Big investors would play their money into bitcoin if they see the price flux and the ability to make good amount of gains from it. In future if fiat is totally taken over by bitcoin (which is almost impossible) how will we declare how much bitcoin would be worth an article?

I fully believe bitcoin will increase again later this year. Although no one can know the exact market situation in the future. But I am optimistic that bitcoin will grow well.
Everyone is optimistic about the price and we are all bullish on the future of bitcoin. But we will always have some bears and some panic sellers who always think that this is the last dump of bitcoin and its never going up again and thats when the market goes up once again.

It's almost difficult to find the "best quality" forum ever.
Maybe if people didnt come here with the "Who does not like free money" attitude then the conditions would be better. Roll Eyes

Quote
But AFAIK, this forum ever had the most insightful discussion on early year of bct early born.
Maybe you can find some topic on year 2011-2014
But opening those topics again would be necroposting dont you think? Starting new topics of similar things only leads to more spammers. Tough to accept but the best way to prevent it is by reporting all such posts.

One of my weakness is Economy thread, although its overrun by spammers, you can find a lot of topics to read, you just have to go through the junk because interesting discussions are somewhat buried. And most of time I do some research because debates involves US economy. I'm not a US citizen, so its really hard for me to comment unless I do some digging and churn my opinion and contribute to a healthy conversation.
Economics and Bitcoin Discussion are the top few shitposted sections of the forum. Its the lovecave of the spammers where they keep wanking to the same topic in order to get their posts done for a week. I sometimes pick up things and try to explain/point of things. Sometimes few people reply back which are worth discussion but majority is just spam. Forget about Altcoin Discussion. That section is a huge pile of shit.
7423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online gambling games fixed? on: August 23, 2018, 09:09:24 AM
As for me online gambling varies on their capabilities depending on how the game earns profitable winning.
Every game will have profitable winnings if they are lucky. If they are not lucky then they lose. As simple as that. Online or offline is irrelevant because that does not "vary" your luck in any manner.

Quote
However players always trusted the game host as well as the team players came along the gameplay situation.
True, but then fixed games cannot be discerned from non-fixed games. In most cases the games are played in such a way that audience will never understand the nature of fixing but the conspiracy theorists will always be there.

Quote
Thinking about fair games, it doesn't have the assurance at all times because the game online has its own plans and strategies to follow.
Thats a wrong assumption to make. Learn more about provably fair system of games before you say such things. Rest assured those sites which have been running from age old times are not fixed in anyway.
7424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom of BTC descending channel is 3000$? on: August 23, 2018, 09:04:20 AM
I think Bitcoin will not drop to $ 3000, if BTC drops that price it will be like a bubble burst and never big investors can leave it broken, so the market price only at $ 6000.
Bubble burst? Bitcoin was called a bubble by no-coiners. Those who dont have any coins/didnt ever enter the market and make FUD about crypto in general. Its like the old Eshop's Fable of the Fox and the Grapes. When they cant get coins for themselves they call it a ponzi and a bubble to just because it out of their reach.

Each analyst gives his predictions. The bottom of the market may be below the $ 3000 mark, the market itself determines the price.
Demand and supply determine the price. Of course the demand is there and the supply is limited. That why its deflationary as time goes on. If price drops to 3k no matter. Just wait because it will go up again.
7425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: August 23, 2018, 08:59:55 AM
People very interested about this December month because there are too many people know bitcoin must pump in December because if you follow previous year and you can see in December bitcoin price is growing very faster so people not afraid to hold his bitcoin in December month. I’m already save my bitcoin until end of this year.

Actually people are so enthusiastic about the December bull run last year that they are all stocking up. In my opinion this will lead to premature pump and then a drop before December. The price cycle might shift because of this excitement and market might become unpredictable this year end. Still we can expect a run around Christmas but lets not over-estimate a cycle.

I am not afraid about that, price Bitcoin now is so cheap,I don't think it will like this time anymore, that is reason everymonth I always buy bitcoin with any price.
You can wait till bitcoin touches 6k again. In my opinion that is a good support point and very less likely to drop below that unless something bad happens like Satoshi dumps their coins. Which is very unlikely.
7426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: August 22, 2018, 09:00:03 AM
Maybe their are just trying to spread positivity around. In my opinion that we hope always the better because being negative just also invite negative things. On chinese beliefs, believing on good things that will happen invites more good things and prosperity.
I like you belief's mate and believe me we all are trying to get some positivity in the bitcoin market. Trying to spread the word is difficult especially with shills everywhere claiming this to be the last dump of bitcoin so as to make people panic sell. I have heard that phrase probably a thousand times already in these few years of being associated with crypto as an investor and trader.

Every social media is full of shitcoin shills and they are so braindead that they never stop and put in their dedication in other parts of life. Grin

No matter how low the recovery is, it is still a recovery no matter what.
Thats optimistic but I can tell you that the bigger bull run is not now. It will take some time to occur. At this time just buy at lower prices and sell at higher prices after you identify what points are best to enter and exit.
7427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom of BTC descending channel is 3000$? on: August 22, 2018, 08:56:15 AM
For an intelligent person, any change taking place in the digital market is important.
Do that and you will end up losing more money than you make.

Quote
A trader cannot gain any profits if he is not capable of predicting the coming pump or dump.
If that was the case no trader would be making profit. Its easy to "identify" a pump and dump but its not easy to "predict" a pump and dump. Follow the market price of any coin and if you see daily oscillations of price between two standard points it denotes pump and dump but not explicitely. However any trader would take advantage of it to ride the waves.

Quote
Trading is never buy and buy or sell and sell game. It has been always about buying and selling. But the most important in my opinion is to have full trust in one’s digital asset.
Thats very basic. If you are not doing your own research on the asset then you are stepping into a snake pit with blindfold.

NOw I know why so many people dumped their coins when ETF got postponed. I'm curious, where did you get the idea that postponing is rejection? If they wanted to reject it they would have done it , just like they did with the Gemini ETF. Sec rejected it, brothers reapplied and got rejected again.
Well, the most official method to rejection is to delay it. There are other methods as well which you can study in Management books. Its just a diplomatic way of saying "Give me a break. I dont GAF"
7428  Economy / Economics / Re: Whats the ranking of bitcoin in terms of currency on: August 22, 2018, 07:50:13 AM
Yeah Bitcoin is number 1 when you ask about price. It is actually more liquid than an investment and coukd potentially be better stock portfolio than any other currency around. But in terms of usage, we aren't performing as better as other crypto currency since not everyone is using it.
Bitcoin can be used to buy other altcoins - thats how its so "liquid". But do you know that buying and selling bitcoin for fiat is also a headache for many countries? Some countries have banned crypto - though its not possible to stop crypto like that. However if we see the bigger perspective, in future there might be revoking of these bans because government might actually grow some grey matter.

That would be a nice time since crypto would have a full-fledged exposure and if ETF happens in future then it would icing on the cake. Smiley
7429  Other / Meta / Re: What do you need merits for? on: August 22, 2018, 07:45:58 AM
Your points are quit special and very useful but the truth is that even you needs this high rank account. The high ranks account have upper hands here in the forum the moderators attends to them first before any other low rank.
Not really. A properly done report will be checked by moderators faster than a poorly written one. Taking time to write why you think a post is against rules would actually make the mods life easier. Dont make up such wrong assumptions of higher ranked users getting better treatment here. Then you are actually suffering from Inferiority Complex.

Quote
They are highly paid in signature campaigns many advantages attached to high rank account but we should not be do much desperate to go high rather we should work hard for it.
Highly paid? Maybe. The idea of high and low is relative and everyone has their opinion on this.
Advantages? Nothing that I can think of.

And if you are coming to this forum to get paid as the only thing then you need to find yourself a job, fast This forum is not your "workplace". Wink
7430  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Luckygames.io Glitch/Scam on: August 21, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
I was betting on under 26 on every loss increasing the bet by 35% and on every win returning to the base bet. I had a .525 BTC balance in my account. My Bet amount was 0.00000010

I left this running over night and when I woke up I noticed I had busted and my entire .525 BTC balance was gone. I checked the "My Bets" tab and noticed that I had lost 30 consecutive times in a row after a win.

Anything can happen when you are playing a game of chance.  There is no glitch nor any scam.

Its called "Gambling" for a reason. Reasons you are too dimwitted to understand. The house will always win in the end and you will be busted before you know it. All those probability mathematics never make sense because everyone gets busted in the end whatever logic you put in or whatever "strategy" you put in.

Simply put - you lost your money because you were not lucky on a dice game. It will happen if you gamble with your money. Thats why its called risky. Suck it up and move on.

BTW - did you know about the Negative trust on LG's official account?
7431  Other / Archival / Re: ❤️ DOUBLETH.ME ❤️ Earn extra Ethereum with your deposit! on: August 21, 2018, 09:46:13 AM
You can’t lose!

Any site which is doing the following :

1. Claiming to double your deposit
2. Gather a bunch of brainwashed newbie shill/sockpuppets to say "Great Project, Sir"

Is a scam. Be careful of what you are doing with your money. You have been warned.

Fact remains that in order to be of any relevance and of any use to this forum, some level of intelligence and knowledge is needed especially with the current merit system in place.
People who make idiotic threads do often get trolled heavily in Meta. However in Bitcoin Discussion and Economics and sadly Trading Discussion recently, members make repeated comments about the same thing without putting in any effort o write something new or discuss some points on the discussion.

Quote
Topics/posts have to be seen to well thought out and meaningful.
Not always. People can be noob at times.

Quote
This makes me wonder, have you been ever confronted with a topic where you click the 'reply' tab and without a clue as to how to what to type in response and how to contribute meaningful, and this forced you to research some more about the subject matter before returning to post a reply?
Maybe its just you. I pick replies of people in topics which I feel need to be discussed and try to keep the discussion on topic. What I get irritated at is the amount of shitposting by the bottomfeeders in the community. Merit does stop them from ranking up but it does not control their shitpost vomiting habits.
7433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online gambling games fixed? on: August 21, 2018, 08:43:22 AM
If games were reach then why the sites allows the high rolls to win,I saw there were lot of big rewards also win in the gambling sites.
There are big wins and there are big losses as well. If we watch only one side we would have a biased opinion. Both profit and loss happen and thus if a person is thinking of gambling they should consider the fact that even if the games are provably fair, the chance of win or loss is 50-50. Hence they should not gamble with their saving money or their monthly salary. If they do then its their decision to play. The casinos never force anyone to play.

On paper, trustworthy casinos cannot afford to cheat with games. There are heavy audits on the random generator system. However, I prefer live casino even online opposed to those "fruit machines".
On online as well they are trustworthy. You just need to make sure the games are provably fair. Thats all.
7434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning Crypto trading as a beginner on: August 21, 2018, 08:39:06 AM
As a beginner in trading big money it is really going to lose if you do not care about buying and selling because you have a lot of money to lose your money.
What does that statement even mean? If you are going to take the risk you should not invest "big money" - simply because of the risk involved. Of course if you are so dumb then you might end up mortgaging your house and end up in debt but thats another story. Grin

You should be up on youtube learning, it is the ideal place to study, during this time, the price of the coin continuously decreases for us speculation so learn quickly and grab the opportunity.
Youtube, like I have often said, is filled with shitcoin pumpers in general. Some few youtuber do have unbiased opinions and are giving good motivation to crypto in general. In short you would want to listen to people who reveal in every episode which coin is a sponsored one and which article is their own opinion.
7435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a reason why Bitcoin has to be the crypto in the future? on: August 21, 2018, 08:35:45 AM
I believe it yes. Once they will be regulated by different countries, it will become true. But it will take time. There are many benefits of crypto over fiat.

Dont comment on things you dont understand mate. Crypto is unregulated and it will remain like that. Thats one of the things that makes it different from fiat and thus the importance. Governments want to take care of your money by issuing fiat for usage but crypto provides the channel for you to use it with partial anonymity and without regulations.

Bitcoin will continue to be the best in the future.
Because Bitcoin is attracted by many people.

We can see that the Bitcoin capitalist market is huge. You can check all of them here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
Can you please make your posts a bit more detailed as to why it is attracted to people? That woul actually improve your post quality when you put in more effort to write.

The attraction if you ask me was the price pump back in December 2017. It drew a lot of mainstream investors.

7437  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] - Posting restriction for users wearing signature below Member rank on: August 20, 2018, 11:33:55 AM
God, I know it isn't. But I just couldn't help it. He should not leave the forum to bleed only because a few positive users might get a negative effect from this. Those legitimate users would probably find their way to the other side, but this whole lot of spammers would die inside that circle, and that would probably bring some positive energy to the forum.

Many legitimate users have "left" this forum in terms of hacked accounts, by scamming someone or simply went AWOL. What is left must be preserved and I believe continuous scrutiny of post quality of such members is necessary to reduce spam and increase quality discussions.

But what is the role of the campaign manager then? If they accept such users in campaigns then nothing can be done to stop them from shitposting. Hence both the manager and the mods of the forum need to monitor them for such shitposting spree.

Literally speaking once they spam - they will eventually get banned and then make another account - by whatever method and start a new journey on bitcointalk. That is where merit stops them from ranking up and the same thing repeats. Ultimately they will get tired and frustrated and then leave the forum.
7438  Other / Meta / Re: HOW TO AVOID SPAMMING on: August 20, 2018, 11:28:54 AM
I just tried to positive think for them, I hope they can change a mindset against this forum not just how to get money but give a positive contribution. Regardless of their participation in the sig camp in order to make their lives better or indeed, they do not have a profession in real life. I don't blame them because this forum does provide a place for that.
This forum allows people to earn from signature campaigns and bounties - consider that as a privilege and a gift. Abuse of them would only lead to downgrading of the user's trust and overall reputation here. We have other pay-per-post type forums out in the internet but they are just places of spamming where admins have a hard time dealing with shitposters. At least this forum is not like that except the Altcoins section and Bitcoin Discussion sections.

Quote
If they continue to hold on to their mindset, in the end, they get punished for being banned, bullied, and never get merit from anyone unless there is a transaction in a "dark room."
There is no transaction in this so-called "dark" thing. All merit transfers are seen by public members of the forum. So stop making such assumptions without evidence.
7439  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: August 20, 2018, 11:24:23 AM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies erase the borders of States. For entrepreneurs, of course, this is a great opportunity to earn good money
Borders of states? Like are you dealing with fugitives from the outskirts? And is earning money the only thing in your mind? People who are setting up business around bitcoin are taking a huge risk at the same time. Adoption of bitcoin gradually increasing this risk will reduce in future but not by a huge percent.

The benefits of speculation are certainly higher and more efficient than investing, but the risks are also high, so investing in crypto doesn't require investing a lot of money.
Thats not what is being talked about here. Please read more than you write and at least read the title of the thread if not the OP and the replies. Wink

Indeed, the possibilities are limitless. With this payment option, the entrep will have like a "new world" to explore. It also good for adoption.  Like for example, the enterp would to accept only cryptocurrencies as a payment for his service, the costumer--with no prior knowledge to crypto--is obligated to do his research.
And the customer might get a bad impression about crypto as well. That is the reason why some people are always calling crypto a ponzi scheme even if they dont understand how it works.
7440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: August 20, 2018, 11:20:21 AM
I believe there is a way like what's going on now that some people are chasing to make profits for a marginal trading or some switch in forex trading temporarily.
They would need experience in forex market for that. That said some people here other than investing and trading crypto are also interested in precious metals sector and the stock market and commodity market. However that is not the topic of discussion here but altcoin trading. Alts can be bought at low price to sell at high price.

Quote
The other way around is to keep on your strategy buy in dips and hold for a long term.
People may not need to hold for long term at this time. I suspect a bull run later this year so mid term hodling is needed.
