Im from Romania so i wont say nothing Tongue

You should say something.  You have a wealth of knowledge about a beautiful and diverse country.  Please tell us what you think.

Apparently I require more smartifying because I cannot find the youtube channel "smartified another day" ;(
I did watch the first two episodes of Smarter Every Day which were actually repeats since they both used detonations to cause a deflagration and coincidentally both used guns.  Still, I feel slightly smarter.

What part of "Your reply sparked a YouTube channel idea" confused you? TBC, I merely mused about Smartified Another Day. BTW, don't bother hunting my other muse: a pocket pussy operating like the jaws of a crocodile, for it, too, doesn't yet exist, but I'm hoping to garner U$5.1M via Kickstarter to begin production.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

"May I suggest duckweed for its foliage on the non-barren models?"

My confusion stems from a lack of sleep.  I work until 8am and don't have the good sense to go to bed.  You certainly have some unique ideas... is it at least a toothless croc?

@xhomerx10
"you wll nott notice any difference in mining?"
u mean between the x4 and x16 <--- yes
or u mean between having 1x gtx 970 and having 3x gtx 970 <--- what?  Did you say "another" GTX970 or "another two" GTX970s

If you're going with three GPUs you're going to need a powered riser but on your motherboard, using the PCI-e 2.0 4x slots disables some of the other PCI-e slots so use caution and do some reseach before attempting to run more than 2 GPUs.
7445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Iam lost PCI-E ! on: May 31, 2016, 02:28:11 PM
Yes, it will, but you need to keep in mind it will get only 4x bandwidth whereas your x16 PCI-E GPU will get 16x bandwidth, the hashing may less so you should get a GPU so that it may only use 4x bandwidth and make the best out of it.... If you buy a GTX970, it will only get 4x bandwidth and waste 12x of its power..

oh thats not good Sad i wont get full hashrate

 Yes you will.
7446  Other / Off-topic / Re: Iam lost PCI-E ! on: May 31, 2016, 01:21:27 PM
You will be fine running 2 GTX 970's on that motherboard and you will not notice much if any performance difference at all when mining or gaming.  The X4 slot still has a throughput of 4Gb/s - PLENTY for anything you're going to do.
Also, while you probably should add another case fan, to draw in more air for the 2 GPUs, they are only dissipating about 145W each.  You don't need risers for a dual GPU system - that just complicates things.
I ran dual 7970s side by side for mining without issue and they drew much more power than the 970s.

What case are you using?  Is the PSU bottom mounted?  There might be an issue with space for two cards if you have a mini or mid sized case as each card needs at least 40mm.  Measure twice.

Maybe BitcoinExpress is getting prepared to sell his legendary account?

WOW! Urine was sterile a few years ago when I learnt about such, but now see that may no longer be true.

Ir re. legendary account, note that the activity decreases proportionally down to newbie status if all posts are deleted.

 I did not know that!
We have both been smartified Wink

<hijacking thread>  Does anyone else piss in the shower/bathtub besides me?  I clogged the toilet a couple of days ago and it's still clogged to I have no other choice.  Seems quite reasonable to me... Smiley

Pissing in the tub/shower/sink is acceptable given that urine is sterile. The big question is exacting where are you shitting?

Back on-topic, looks like another ~600 post were deleted since the penning of the OP.

Sounds like you need more fibre in your diet... or possibly less fibre.  Wait, you only have one bathroom?

7452  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your favourite country? on: May 30, 2016, 11:09:53 AM
Do you have a favourite country and if so why? Is it the country you're living in or another one?

I don't really have a favourite country myself, I guess I have some issues with just about any country, but there are also a few that I like more than others
For me my favorite country is Philippines cause that's my country and people here is very polite and happy even if they have problems they still smile cause we believe that smile can resolve all problems and decrease stress and depression and ofcourse helpful and lovely people and many beautiful place's and ofcourse beautiful girl's

When I was very young, my friend told me this saying from his country "Um sorriso muda tudo" which means "A smile changes everything" and it has always been good advice.  He was from Portugal but the smile itself is a universal symbol I'm sure.

Ok people I'll let u in in a little secret

it's called advanced money laundering

it's also a way of hiding drug purchases

Hey the accountant won't let u waste business

money but u arranged with the car dealer

if u buy his $300,000 Ferrari

their will be a nice big bag of stuff in the boot

now u just need to convince the accountant that

the business can afford a Ferrari Smiley

But this here is a item from a game called counter strike...

yup Wat a lazy way to launder money Smiley

I guess the size of transaction didn't warrant a

hand made Ferrari hahahaha

Yes but with a Ferrari, you would have to sell it again to receive funds, this way it's direct.  Seller and buyer are in the same game so to speak Wink

You didn't need to create a new thread for that lol Smiley Just edit the subject.

While I saw that I could do that, I wasn't sure it was treated the same as the initial topic text. Rather than start a new thread to ask that question, I started a new thread to test my strikeout text.  True story Wink

7456  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to "Strikethrough" a word in a topic's subject ? on: May 29, 2016, 02:55:35 PM
Yes it is.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1489846.0

edit: sorry I forgot to say I used the Unicode "combining long stroke overlay" (U+0336) to get the strikethrough.
I'm pretty sure BBcode is not enabled for topic text on this board.

edit#2: If you can't figure out how to get the Unicode characters via the alt+ method, here is a website that will create it for you.

Dopamine and serotonin.  Lots and lots of dopamine and serotonin.
Oh yeah and throw in some sleep and sunshine now and again.

7459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Found old thumb drive with bitcoin-qt on it. on: May 29, 2016, 04:46:40 AM
I "know" there are coins on the drive because I "put them on it". I can't remember how much is on it, but I remember I was pissed when I lost the drive during a move. One puts coins in a wallet by sending them to an address represented by a long string of numbers and letters; it has nothing to do with knowing what a "wallet.dat" file is.

That's hilarious.  You came here asking for help and suddenly you're the smart-assed expert?
I'll tell you what, paste a listing of the drive contents into your next post and maybe somebody else can tell you whether or not you know how to back up long strings of numbers and letters to which you sent coins.  That's more help than I should even offer.

7460  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making a free computer game for mining in return on: May 29, 2016, 04:17:40 AM
You're not going to mine any bitcoin on a couple of CPU cores X 1,000,000 these days.  It's not worth another thought; move on to something else.
