If we're only talking about coins/projects with a working product, of which is few, i would say we're at a early Stage 3: "Growth". Much like a child just learning to walk.

For me reasons not to invest in crypto are if you don't have any idea what crypto is, lack of ineterest to learn crypto market and investment, impatient these are tje most common reason why you should not invest in crypto as we are know crypto is very high risk and volatility but if you know what you are investing for, the profit here is also greater than investing in any other stock market.

Righ now, it looks like the market is trying to recover. But there are always new fud news who want to make them stop. But slowly the people see that there are just fae news about cryptocurrencies. So im sure the market will recover any time soon. But this time, it will go much more slowier then last year. So dont expect a year like 2017. That would not happen anymore. So dont be to greedy. Just be patience and hold your coins, and end of the year you will make good amount of gains.

I dentifying base on the coinmarketcap.com, there are lots of cryptocurrencies or altcoins that reached the billion mark in terms of market cap. In the last year, January, only the bitcoin, seven cryptocurrencies in the June and then before this year enters, almost 49 of them reached the billion mark.
