7461  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptos would only have value in a dystopian economy said JP Morgan on: February 04, 2019, 03:24:50 PM
I believe it's because less people have access to Bitcoin and Bitcoin exchanges.

Make it more accessible, would you still believe that more Venezuelans would prefer to hold the Bolivar than Bitcoin?
No, it is not about access, its about them not having anything. I talked about this somewhere else as well I think but those people in Venezuela do not have food or clothes or anything they own and have hard time living, I have seen people boiling a SHOE in a water to make it taste something and drink like soup. Now, you expect if we install 1000 bitcoin ATM all over Venezuela you can change that persons life somehow ? They do not have a bread to eat and we assume bitcoin could change their lives ?

I mean of course there were some rich people or above average people who took their money out to bitcoin to save from inflation and made money purely on inflation reasons even while bitcoin was going down but bitcoin would have helped 20%-30% of the population at best, there are about 50% of them dying right now and bitcoin is the last thing they need.
7462  Economy / Speculation / Re: To the OG's from before 2016. What do you expect the price to be in 2021? on: February 04, 2019, 02:38:44 PM
A lot of people here have experienced crypto crashes before. Does this "seem" normal to you? If yes, where do you think we will be in late 2021 pricewise?
I got into bitcoin at late 2012, early 2013 times, it was the first time it hit either 150 dollars or 250 dollars ( I do not remember right now) and have been around ever since. Honestly, I would like to say I didn't really thought about 2021 during those days, I didn't even think of today during those days. If I was a smarter person I would buy as much as I can or at least try to earn as much as I can, instead of saving all bitcoins I had I usually spent it on stuff.

Talk about 2021 today however I can say that I have no idea what the price will be (most probably higher, doubt it will be lower) however I know one thing for sure, bitcoin and crypto will be more involved in our life at 2021, it will be much more used and accepted and will become more mainstream, still nowhere the fiat levels but better than today, hence I think it is still a great long term investment.
7463  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto reinvestment without withdrawing fiat currency on: February 04, 2019, 04:42:54 AM
The fact that staking and masternodes are not the main discussion is a wonder. The most common and easy way of making money with money is interest and the interest we have in crypto is the masternodes and stakes. For example, ethereum is said to be turning into PoS from the current PoW which actually increased the price a lot for a while but the hard fork got cancelled but hopefully it will return soon. That type of making money with money exists in crypto as well and I actually really love it and prefer it over the miners.

Miners need to get equipment which costs a lot of money and then when something happens they are left with those products however when staking you have a lot of a coin but you can stake it as much as you want and then sell it whenever you want without any problem.
7464  Economy / Economics / Re: Italy already in recesion on: February 03, 2019, 05:00:32 PM
The problem is that when a country has no product that it sells overseas for a lot of profit its usually stuck with the people inside and the changing of money from same person to same person. All countries need money from other countries to get by and some countries think that a bail out is a solution and they need to get help from other countries to get out of this but that is just one off help which won't solve the issue for a long period of time, it will return back being a bad situation when that money is finished.

Hence, Italy just needs products that they can sell to other countries to make a lot of money, think of apple where apple sells to whole world and brings in money to USA and pay a lot of taxes. Same applies to Italy, maybe not something as big as Apple of course but something at a more possible level where they sell something to whole world and bring in profits back to Italy will fix this issue.
7465  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency lending business. on: February 03, 2019, 04:29:18 PM
I still do not understand how they manage it to look like its crypto lending whereas they still count it at 1.1 billion dollars. I mean either its a bitcoin amount or its dollar amount what are they really lending. If they are not lending dollars why calculate it at 1.1 billion dollars instead of the bitcoin amount.

Also, this is not really "lending" considering these are not loans, loans are stuff you get to buy a house , get a car, pay debts and whatever, this is just margin lending which people use to buy or sell on a position during trading and then pay it back to them, there is a legal tender in place and if you are using their system and borrow money they have all the info about you possible and you are responsible to pay them back which is exactly like fiat lending.
7466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why many traders(including me) not getting success on: February 02, 2019, 02:35:12 PM
Experience is a big part of the problem. Bitcoin is way different than any other trading out there. I agree that they look similar and what not but Forex is still different crypto trading. So we are talking about a brand new trading that not many people have experience on and wonder why we are not doing well. Whales do make money but that requires no experience, when you are rich enough to make any move you want and change the price of any coin then you will definitely see a profit.

However, with small amounts (and even as high as 100k on big coins) it requires experience in the field, so we need to wait some more years and people will get more and more experience with trading and eventually all of us will have 5+ years trading experience that will allow us to be much better than what we are right now.
7467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Differences Between Crypto and Traditional Trading on: February 02, 2019, 01:36:59 PM
Is the website for people who are experienced in traditional trading and want to get into digital ?

I mean the difference isn't that big when it comes to basic trading principles. Also crypto trading is not like stock trading, it resembles forex a lot more. So, if you are an expert on forex trading and come to crypto you will not have that much trouble getting adjusted to it. The only difference is that crypto moves a lot bigger and a lot quicker however people think the forex people are not used to stuff like that.

Yeah, prices do not change as drastically as crypto however the margin trading and leverages are so big that the profits and losses do become as big in forex as well. Hence, when lets say trump comes up and says something that changes the prices they do know what to do just exactly as what happens in crypto when a crypto famous person does something.
7468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site that offer Free spin? on: February 02, 2019, 11:06:28 AM
BitStarz also offers 180 free spins on registration as well.
That must be really a massive numbers but what was your experiences/result. Got your luck to favor you at least once out of 180 times ? I do get mails on free spins from few gambling houses but never mind checking with them as dicing had proved my luck factor was not in my favor hence never shown interest to try them.

I will try  it as soon as  got home or maybe later during my break time.
Got time to spin there ? Any rememberable stories to share here ? I am just curious to know about your experience with free spins.

these are just a strategy to make more player for them? We are never going to win those free spins
Of course! Faucets and free promotions are there to lure you to try with them. Their calculation is, at least 1 out of 100 new registrations may become a frequent gambler.
7469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 02, 2019, 09:23:48 AM
What are the *easiest* or *most popular* ways of making a profit using gambling and betting sites?
I'm not going to list out a few strategies to claim like these are all effective for profit making in gambling but I'm going to mention about what are the possibilities for your research.

The easiest strategy might have gone the most popular one hence it has become as a common strategy for any gambler like martingale strategy is doing with dicing sites. I mean your criteria for searching strategies based on easiest or popular will not work but what will work ? Your own strategy. You do not need to develop a strategy from scratch. But, you may go for modifying few parameters of few strategy and this may work for you for sometimes until your house will develop their side fix for your strategy.

I believe you may go for developing strategies for your sportbetting as there will be plenty of chances to crack there compared to other gambling. Still, just with knowledge on a sport and players, I do see many people are making easy money out of sportsbetting. Knowledge on sports in their most working strategy.
7470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized Dice Games? on: February 02, 2019, 08:35:10 AM
I don't know what you guys mean by possible. Is it possible to build a code for it ?
Sure, but who is going to pay the wins? I mean when I gamble lets say 1 bitcoin on 50% chance and win, who is paying my 1 bitcoin back ?

The idea of decentralized exchange is that I give you btc and you give me eth, that is the same on centralized exchange as well, the exchange only acts as a means to find people who will exchange with you. However, when it comes to casinos you are not gambling against other people, of course there are games like sportsbooks (onehash) and poker where you play against other people and it could be decentralized however when it comes to dice how would you gamble without anyone on the other end of the bet ?

You either have to have a casino backing it which would make it centralized or you would have to bet against other people on whether the dice will be above 50% or below 50% which would make the speed depending on the other gamblers and not something you can arrange yourself.
7471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Affiliate Programs on: February 02, 2019, 07:48:00 AM
Online crypto betting has been the place for all the people who do not have legal online casinos for years. It is not brand new thing, some people may realize it now but I think crypto gambling has already reached its peak on the user % numbers. As on a certain % of the people who uses crypto already gambles with crypto as well, this % will not probably go any higher.

Obviously, the number of people who gamble may increase in the future but that will be thanks to people who get into crypto, lets assume 20% of all crypto users gamble, I believe we will not see 50% or something, it will stay at around the same number however the number will increase because every 5 new people that join into crypto will have 1 of them gamble with it. From now on casinos should not be working towards turning crypto users into gamblers but instead try to turn fiat gamblers into crypto users.
7472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🚀 Micro Exchange with Poker & Dice & Roulette 🔥🚀 on: February 01, 2019, 06:09:00 PM
First of all whoever did the design I would like to shake his hand. Almost all exchanges I am aware of has horrible design and when someone has this much of a great design I know I am dealing with a company that really takes their work seriously which gives you a heads up over everybody else. Moreover, the poker is another deal than exchange, if you are offering crypto rewards I would have been more than willing to try it since its free and what could hurt me if I win a free reward, there is absolutely nothing I can lose and that is absolutely beast if you ask me.

All the above, I can see that rewards are not crypto rewards, they are products and honestly looking at the website it looks like its based in Brazil ? I am not so sure but it looks like that and I don't know how you can send the product to me, which has a shipping issue tied to it. If there was "either iphone or crypto that worth the same" then I wouldn't miss it.
7473  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Did we hit the bottom? on: February 01, 2019, 04:39:36 PM
Just like the title says: Did we hit the bottom yet? Or will the downtrend continue?

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/3BuFFCC.png[/img]

I'm trying to get a feel for whether people are bullish or bearish. The poll will run for 10 days and people can change their vote. Smiley
I think so. I mean there is of course a chance of going even further down if something unexpected happens, it all depends on the whales and if just a single whale with a lot of coins come out today and sell a bunch of bitcoin than the price will see another bottom however unless something that big happens we are not going to see anything under 3200 ever again.

If we move up from here than I am sure we will not see anything under 3200 ever in history as well, it all depends on the movement from now on, its fragile, if we manage to get a hype and bull run than the bottom was 3200 and that's it, if we do not get that bull run than we are still on the thin line of going down any second because of a whale. We need that bull run because if we have it than even a whale selling would drop us to a place that is above this price.
7474  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you remember how you feel about during 2008? on: February 01, 2019, 03:52:47 PM
Honestly I was disappointing, I was only 18 when the crash happened and I told everyone I know that dollar would become valuable once again because of the lack thereof and until they print out more dollars the economy would be weird, for all the foreign countries the dollar value would increase versus their own fiat currency because even USA had lack of dollars for themselves so the other countries would be in dire need for dollars for purchases that were made with dollars (both products brought in from USA plus the oil deal of course) and asked everyone I know to buy dollars right now because value will increase and sell it before they print out more.

However, I was a kid at 18 and had no money and nobody really cared about what I said and nobody actually made a single dollar profit from it, if only people listened to me.
7475  Economy / Economics / Re: Romania has approved a 10% tax on profits from cryptocurrency trading on: February 01, 2019, 02:22:26 PM
The local media inform that Romania has made amendments to tax laws, approving a 10% tax on the profits from the investments in cryptocurrency.
Read more: https://www.xmlgold.eu/en/news/article/798/romania-tax-cryptocurrency-trading/
Is it just trading or possession? I mean what if someone sells a product and gets crypto in return? Do we know what happens to those people? Are they not taxed? Are they taxed the same way they would if they sold it for fiat currency? What about the freelancers? They do not even sell anything, they provide a service and they get paid?

It is great that countries are making laws for crypto, it makes the crypto world a lot more legit however we need the laws to be more precise and more comprehensive, this just concludes one part of the crypto world which is trading but it leaves out a bunch of other stuff unanswered and without that people could be taking advantage of these things. Looking at the USA example the countries that tax the trading depend on the exchanges and the information they give but it takes just one bad exchange to make the trust go away.
7476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes need to avoid in day trading on: February 01, 2019, 11:48:55 AM
In this bear market lot of people were suffering about how to minimize their losses, for them trading is one good way to make daily profits and minimize your over all losses you made from the long bearish trend.SO these are the mistakes need to avoid when someone starts to day trading.
If bear market is making you suffer then day-trading will worsen you further as it is not an easier thing to handle as per many trader's experiences. Day-trading is not a good choice even for bull market but you are talking about it for bear market. Please do not focus on day-trading as market fluctuations will lead you to commit unexpected mistakes even you are prepared thoroughly to avoid them because as per combinations and permutation, the chances for mistakes in day-trading is almost infinite.

Go for fundamental analysis to identify good projects and then go for technical analysis to buy at right times. Bear markets are right time to buy at dips by making use of technical analysis.
7477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why many traders(including me) not getting success on: February 01, 2019, 11:01:32 AM
the reason why you didn't succeed is that you might be too greedy to take a position, I as a trader and even everyone has the same thing also failed but they made it an experience that can be learned
Yes, greedy is the collapser of party when we are about to close a trade. If a trader is not sticking with his initial target levels and also not keeping the trailing stop loss then may get stuck within market fluctuations even they got into markets at right times. This type of scenarios are most common in sideways markets. Right now, I guess all cryptocurrencies are range bounded and if we do not stick within trading calls for both entering and exiting a trade then we may miss out good opportunities of making easy profits.

my advice is trying to trade with small capital and knowing how to trade in the crypto world, do not rush to think profits try to prioritize understanding the market first
Learning in real markets with small capital must be a good suggestion but I do see new traders are not having enough patience to follow these things as they want to be millionaire over night but in reality they do end up biting dust. It seems everyone do learn from their mistakes regardless of what ever we do suggest them.
7478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BitTorrent tokens in Binance sold out in minutes on: February 01, 2019, 08:58:36 AM
I still believe this token existence is not necessary.
But who cares ? If you go for studying the real life applications of each and every coin and tokens then you may end up like bitcoin alone will be more than enough or may be few other altcoins and all others are just existing for getting pumped and dumped in cyclic manners and whales are making money from those cycles and small players are blaming their fate and again looking for another new assets to try their luck.

In the past, many ICOs have sold out in minutes but I wonder where they are trading right now. People just look for momentary benefits and for this reasons devs are just focusing on bring hype through various promotions.

Declaring sold out in 15 minutes is pure promotional stunt still it makes their plans to work as per expectations among these naive crypto investors.
7479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 01, 2019, 07:50:39 AM
Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens ,dumping will always happen and if the project is a strong one then it will quickly recover
I guess this is not necessary when they have confident about the potential of their concepts and hence the success of their project. When you are running your project with the real-time applications then you never need to bother about paying bounty rewards in your own tokens/coins and then about getting dumping out. Because, there will be enough adopters and investors to bump over the times. Only condition is, your project must remain attractive.

Fix the payment not in their tokens then everything will be solved.
This will definitely solve, I agree. But, it may prevent the chances of other investors who usually look for buying at dips. I am a kind of investor who take time to analyze hence I never rush for ICO contributions but I will buy in open market if a project is convincing me. At those times, I wait for bounty hunters to dump.
7480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wanted to know if there is a hodler right here? on: February 01, 2019, 06:41:47 AM
Crypto keeps on the bearish pattern no matter what, if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler! Being a hodler means you supporting the coin, didn't you?
What is your point ? I guess that you never look into this community as many forum members are claiming that they are holding since 2012 or 2014 or similar to that. For a holder, it might be very difficult if he would have entered into crypto investing by the times of late 2017 but if they have entered before 2017 then they are still in profits and holding their investment is literally not a big concern compared to other holders who are facing losses after entering into crypto investments. I guess the case of people who entered after mid of 2018, might be somewhat better still might be in potential losses.

You may go for holding a coin only when you believe into the futures of that coin. This way we hold a coin just to show our support to them. It is kind of win-win for both of them. This is not a new thing in crypto space because people are trading and holding company shares in similar manner for decades.
