7481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are being settled to explode ? on: January 24, 2019, 11:32:17 AM
~ snip ~

Why uptrend? A dip to even lower levels is just as likely. There's no guarantee that we have passed the bottom yet, and even if we'll start recovering, it will take a minimum 1.5-2 years to reach $20,000 again. Or maybe the cycles are becoming longer now as the market matures, and we'll have another year of the bear market followed by even slower recovery, this is a possibility too.

Most likely those people praying for the price to reach $20,000 really doesn't understand how everything works in this market. They really thought that there's his on/off switch. We are still in the bearish zone and yeah, it could take 1-2 years to see the market fully recovered or possibility it might take longer because the investors are getting smarter and the market is also getting bigger.
7482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: January 24, 2019, 11:22:38 AM
I know a lot of people who quitted their day job to trade in the cryptocurrency market.
But it was when the market was good.
In this bear market, they're struggling very hard to survive.

Yes, that's the sad part for those who have quit their daily job because they think that Bitcoin will be on a bull run forever. And I'm sure that they've been struggling ever since to bring put on the table for the family. I remember seeing countless threads saying that they have quit their job and focus on trading or even bounty campaigns, bad decision.

So I think the best way to invest is this :
Have a side job, cut down your expenses, then invest 10-20% of your monthly income in the market. This way you never have to worry about gain and loss and surely you have higher chance of getting rich because the market will recover in the long run!

I think its better to have a regular job, not just a side job, but a job that will pay you every other week or monthly. Then take into account every expenses and then put aside some for your crypto investments.
7483  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee, A Cryptocurrency Enthusiast, To Run For US Presidency Despite IRA C on: January 24, 2019, 11:10:52 AM
The fact that John McAfee become such a popular person in crypto community tells you a lot about the latter. Seems like people are ready to trust any celebrity if they promise them moon - they don't care about facts, logic, reasoning, they just want their hopes to be validated. McAfee may not be as influential as he was in 2016-2017, and crypto community might be a bit more skeptical now, but maybe this is just an effect of the bear market, and people will lose their minds again in the next run, especially if we'll have an influx of newcomers.

I watched the video and John McAfee has already fired his first salvo by saying that we are at war with the government, specially about him not paying his taxes. But I don't know if this is a good Presidential pitch though, LOL. Interesting to note that this is not the first time he shows intention, in 2016 he lost his first bid as candidate for Libertarian Party.
7484  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: idea.. You Think its GOOD? on: January 24, 2019, 10:45:33 AM
Here we go... Why so much negativity?  we all should be More Happy and positive.
we need More great vibes:)

I mean don't take it negatively though, remember this is a community and everyone is just voicing their opinion and I do hope you just take them as constructive criticism. And you're really focus and ready to go then build one, easy as that. Just remember that this kind of ventures might take more effort and money on your end as initially though. Also keep in mind that you might not get traction from this forum in the beginning, unless we proved that we can really trust you. 7485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 24, 2019, 10:34:32 AM
I've seen Tsitsipas play from middle of last year and if his style of play in the end rounds havent waivered I can see a good match coming up.
He has the energy and good forehand shots to make Nadal think twice of underestimating this greeks lack of experience in the later stages of an open.
Well he lost the first set , tried to get too many free points if you ask me , he should have been more patient but now in the second set he is handling pace of Nadal a bit better but well we all know Nadal . I think this match will end in 3 or max 4 sets in favor of Nadal .

Who else is excited to see Nadal v Djokovic in the finals?

Damn, Nadal is really on a roll right now. His like getting a second wind and was never bothered with his injuries. That's what really separates the elites from start tennis player like Nadal, Djokovic and Federer. They know how to play and elevate their games when needed. I thought Tsitsipas will give him a interesting and intense fight, but I was wrong, it was a dominant performance so far. 3rd set leading 5-0. We might as well see another tennis for both if Djokovic wins tomorrow.
7486  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-1-22]New Zealand: Binance Finally Halts Transactions of Funds Stolen in Ha on: January 23, 2019, 11:21:50 PM
We keep talking about Binance freezing the stolen funds, but how about other exchanges though? I haven't heard anything besides Binance. I'm sure the supposedly hacker/s didn't just deposit everything on Binance platform. If they the New Zealand and Cryptopia wanted to get back everything, they should also contact other exchanges as well and not just concentrate on just one trading platform.
7487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 23, 2019, 10:36:25 PM
Wasn't expecting Raonic to lose to Lucas Pouille. Raonic played really well in the last few matches and after beating Wawrinka, I expecting him to reach at least Semis. fair play to Pouille though, countered Raonic's forehand quite easily. Nadal vs Tsitsipas next, I dont think Tsitsipas really has a chance. Considering that Nadal has one of the best top spin forehands. If he focuses on Tsitsipas's forehand it will be close to impossible for him to counter that, other than just slicing it. Federer had the same issue for a long time too, while facing Nadal. Its almost impossible to hit a topspin forehand when the ball is around and over the shoulder height. Going to be an interesting matchup for sure but should be another finals showing for Nadal.

So its going to be Pouille vs Djokovic in the other bracket. And Pouille has able to neutralizes the big serve of Raonic, but it was not a easy match for him. As I have said in my previous post, Djokovic was given a free pass so he will be well rested. I'm not seeing Pouille getting over Djokovic though.

As for Nadal vs Tsitsipas, I'm expecting Tsitsipas to give Nadal everything he can handle. I remember the last time they fought in Roger Cup, I wouldn't say that Nadal has a easy win against him, but I'm expecting Tsitsipas to perform better this time against Rafa. I won't be surprised if he pulls through.  Grin
7488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is going to rule crypto! on: January 23, 2019, 10:22:24 PM
I echo the sentiments of most posters here, this article is just a exaggeration on how China's role in crypto or blockchain technology, yes they are involving themselves because if they don't they will be left again in this technological advancement. But it doesn't mean that they will be taking over though, all those money being pour on will just benefited their government and not the private sector, remember this China, they won't yield so much power to their people as they want to control everything.
7489  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Historia Roadmap on: January 23, 2019, 10:04:41 PM
I know that your project is still on the development phase if I'm not mistaken, but its better to create your own ANN thread and put all the updates in their so that people can monitor your progress because not everyone wanted to join a group like discord or telegram. At least you have a avenue here in the community wherein you can have a bit of discussions with members here, just saying.
7490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: looking for a team to implement the project on: January 23, 2019, 09:55:49 PM
Kemarit's suggestion is good as the project development section is plagued by this newbies who is lurking around looking for people which are in need of a team. The problem here is newbies in the forum are untrustworthy as they don't have any background on their services. You'll be having more success finding the right people in a freelance website as most people their are backed by their reputation and reviews and the best thing about it is you can handpick them for your team.
Thank you very much for the advice. I already understand that it was a mistake and a waste of time to write here. Can you tell me which forums can help me?

You may want to visit the following freelance website:

1. https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/
2. https://www.cryptogrind.com/
3. subreddit /r/Jobs4Bitcoins/
4. https://www.upwork.com/

Goodluck finding the right people for your project.
7491  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading Platform on: January 23, 2019, 02:43:27 PM
Oh well, how can it get trust on the community when the OP hasn't responded back after shilling his trading platform? Funny thing is, he mentioned about their support replying in 30 seconds, LOL. But just look at how he abandoned this thread. So for everyone, just continue to play in a trading exchange which you're comfortable with, and not just go for someone who just pops up in the corner and didn't even bother to promote their platform properly in this forum. Sorry but CoinOrbis just lost its credibility here.
7492  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: South Korea Slash Tax For Blockchain Startups by Over 30% on: January 23, 2019, 02:28:22 PM
Very interesting. It looks like South Korea really wanted to compete against Malta, Switzerland to be the next crypto hub around the Asian region. I wouldn't say that they are competing with Japan in Asia, but it seems they really open the door to attract a lot of companies to put South Korea as their headquarters for this whole crypto currency/blockchain technology. Singapore is also emerging so as Thailand, so its going to be a busy year for the Asian neighbors and I'm sure a lot of Blockchain Technology will be hosted by either of those countries mentioned.
7493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 23, 2019, 02:06:28 PM
Zverev lost badly to Raonic yesterday and just goes to show that he isn't ready to match it with the big boys just yet. We keep mentioning this here about the young talent but none seem to be able to beat the top players in Grand Slam tournaments. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Frances Tiafoe are the only two young guys left. Stefanos Tsitsipas has a very good chance to go through to the semi-final as he plays Roberto Bautista Agut in the quarter-final today who has had three 5 set matches in this tournament so far and even though Tsitsipas has also had four 4 set matches this tournament he should have the fresher legs and has a big chance at winning this match. The big match is tonight with Tiafoe taking on Nadal, now we will see if the young guy can match it with one of the greatest of all time.

Yeah, as expected, Zverez lost to Raonic and its seems he can't really get over that hump. And as we have said before, usually this young talents folded in big events such as this one. Raonic won over Lucas Pouille already. I/we have been talking about Tsitsipas several months back, although it sad to see Federer going out, but this boy has a lot of potential, might not be the next Federer, but he is showing good tennis, he just needs consistency (just like the rest of the young guns). Djokovic also advance after defeating Ken Nishikori as Ken was forced to retire due to injury.
7494  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-20]What Threats are Cryptocurrency Exchanges Currently Struggling With? on: January 23, 2019, 08:42:41 AM
The main threat is simply other exchanges. There are so many propping up every quarter trying to be the new binance, some offering little to no fees and incentives as well.

I wouldn't consider it a threat as long as new exchanges can be trusted in the long run. The problem is that those popping up right now doesn't have anything to offer though, they just listed some shitcoins for pump-and-dump scheme or might be possible that they are in unison with the scammy projects as well.

There's this also the problem with fake volumes, I'm not saying its a universal accepted practice but there are reports that says a lot of exchanges are doing this, so I guess we also need to take that in consideration as well. But yeah, no need to promote it as the next Binance or something. They just need to provide better services for the crypto space and I'm sure someone will noticed the eventually.
7495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear markets survival on: January 23, 2019, 08:28:03 AM
How are you guys Surviving in this Bear markets

If you are still trading , what are the strategies you are using.

How are you guys managing risks .

Personally, I just go in and outs in the market right now, if I see some opportunity to short Bitcoin then I'll go in and get out as quickly as I can specially if I satisfy my exit strategy, simply as that. And then there's the side of me to go long if the price looks very attractive and inside of my budget.

But for those who doesn't want to short because of the risk involved, and let's admit it, its easier said than done. I guess the best advise is that don't do any trading if you're not comfortable with this bear market. Just continue to observed that market though so that you can also learn some valuables learns at this worsening market conditions.
7496  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: January 23, 2019, 08:18:00 AM
From my own perspective yes it does affect the market when there's a fud or bad news it does significantly damage the price. Potentially making it fluctuate especially those investors that are afraid that they might lose money and quickly panic sell most of this guys are newbies and novice.

Definitely there's still lot of investors who still read everything and "believe" it is true. Damn, just imagine how many sold all their stash during the BCH drama back in November, not just newbies and noobs though, but those mid level investors who really thought that the market will go on capitulation of < $2000.

But the current events right now the market seems to be unaffected by all the fud news and fundementals. It seems the market moves as the technicals or volume dictates. I guess the current investors of crypto are trader that's why the price doesn't get affected whenever there's a bad news.

No, we haven't seen or read anything that has a drastic affect on the current price, just some minor dumps coming from speculators who love shorting Bitcoin at this point. We just have to wait for another negative news and see another rounds of massive sell-offs.
7497  Economy / Services / Re: Darkwebtalk.com forum launched, monthly bitcoin prices for top posters on: January 23, 2019, 08:07:40 AM
I remember there was one forum last year that was launched which makes a lot of noise here because of the huge amount being offered to promote them through signature campaigns here. Sadly though, it was ruined by managers who took off with the money because it was not escrowed properly and the forum owner shell out more funds just to pay everyone else. So I would agree about the suggestions to escrow the price money first.
7498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 143: Dillashaw vs Cejudo Prediction and Info Thread on: January 20, 2019, 07:30:32 AM
Time to discuss what happened to this fight. Cejudo obliterates the highly skilled Dillashaw in just 32 seconds. It proves that Cejudo wins against Demetrious Johnson is not a fluked. I totally agree that going down in weight really affected Dillashaw here. I hope we can see them at 135 lbs fight though, to see who is the best in the 125-135 lbs division.
7499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 20, 2019, 07:10:09 AM

When Pacman fights we expect knockout every time, if one fighter don't engage its not going to be fun to watch. Broner keeps watching the rounds to end. The fuck is that!

It's because his game plan is to counter Manny. There are rounds that Broner is successful with his swift counter right with Manny throws his jab. But then again when he was hit in round 7, the complexion of the game chances, he became more defensive and Manny continue to attack him, at the end it's not enough though, as I have said it became a chess game, tactical back and forth as I have said before, but Manny adjusted and didn't rush to go for a KO.
7500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 20, 2019, 06:16:31 AM
Vintage Pacquiao in round 7. Caught Broner in the corner but his chin is holding up. But it's all Pacquiao from round 1. I agree with what Floyd says it's a chess match until that break out round for Manny. Let's see how it goes.
