@jossiel I remember this @slaman29 was finding it slow to connect to various sites due to his office connection, but now I’m glad that he’s able to access Bitdice faster than before. Also for @thottum query @BoXXoB had answered him, and if anyone ever needs any kind of support use the intercom button on Bitdice site you’ll get a quick solution to any problems you’re facing.

Exactly this my friend. Just something as part of my daily routine, dealing with crap internet. It is something to do with the office needing us to use those connections to access internal servers, part of the security so we have no choice, and also because they want to monitor our surfing (yes gambling is fine in non-work time).

But it's free and it saves me money these days. I just stopped topping up data and internet for my home, using only the free amount I get every month. Jobs are not paying so well these days and we got to do what we got to do!
7482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: April 20, 2020, 05:42:22 AM
You seldom can predict how suicidal you can be or how strong a mind you have. The problem with socalled investment activities and trading is that people approach it with a wrong attitude, thinking of fast profits and easy gains when it's hardly ever the case at all. Consider all of these money you can lose, or you'll find you're putting things you can't afford to lose and THEN you go suicidal.

All right. People start investing with the expectation of making money. They immediately have expectations that they will succeed.
A small part of people think that they will fail for the first time, so they usually take more money for deposit than they actually can lose.
After the loss, realizing that they made a mistake, they can resort to trying to correct the situation by making another deposit, and again it will be funds that they cannot afford to lose without frustration.

Like I said, wrong attitude, so wrong expectations. It's in the small print. And nowadays its even on the advertising of the broker. That they are more likely than not to fail. This is the most common: "76% Of CFD Traders Lose Money On Their Deals" you can google it.

Know this and know the odds are stacked against you.

Always. Deposit what you can afford to lose.

9 more days, I don't wanna jinx myself but since I'm in a good mood, yeah I'll probably think of gathering a small deposit and collect 1 or 2 more tickets. I feel like I already did a lot, and lost a lot of money, almost my entire bitcoin savings (I have two portions luckily) in an incident here a while back but still hurts like hell. Maybe my luck returns to me in a big way;)
All right, just keep doing that, as long as you know what you're doing and you're happy. Sometimes we can't really avoid defeat, and we know that's part of the process. Isn't it bad to expect that? Just don't overdo it. Haha, Let's face it, at times we didn't expect to be there. Let's not forget that we must still know to what extent.

Thank you. Indeed I know what I'm doing and well, like I said, I hurt from what happened but I am at peace with it. Defeat is unavoidable, but how you face that defeat is in your control.

I'm definitely not going to overdo it, hence why I kept my major btc in more than 1 batch.

If that is your hunch then do it because with your conscience this might be a fortune that yesterday failed, if you have 2 backup options in bitcoin then it would be better where you can control your finances if it still continues to defeat, I hope you will listen 1  -2 tickets can provide a good opportunity because in gambling it is difficult to determine our victory even if the ploy wants to play again.

Yup, I've started putting stuff into even a 3rd batch now. Good thing about my FBC now is I wagered so much my freeroll is x10 now. Maybe one day BTC is 1 million and that's $3 a roll today!

7485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 18, 2020, 10:02:58 AM
I was very surprised at the time how many adults can't control themselves on their own. They drink too much alcohol, gamble, cheat on their wives and husbands, and so on.
These people can and should be saved, but they themselves must seek help or their family members must do so.

The most important step in a person's recovery is to understand that they have a problem and want to get rid of it.

How old are you? If you still get surprised by the way people are, I guess you haven't lived enough. What I like about drinkers and gamblers ... well, yes they are assholes but if you get close to some and you talk honestly, you see that many of them are quite open and know their failings and have no misunderstanding about who they are.

Help is harder than it sounds. People judge. So find a friend, a confidante, who you tell everything.

I agree with Chrisbin that we should judge people so quickly when they are still sticking around trying to make things right. BUT at the same time I have heard from 2 users on this forum (not me thankfully) about BK because I asked them about it when I wanted to join.

I saw the communication and I think BK should have been upfront with them, but instead BK made promises and then stopped replying on money owed. These guys were so understanding, which is why they are good forum users, and it is up to them to forgive but I think we need to remember what has happened and not allow it to take place again.
7487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best stories about your crypto experience on: April 17, 2020, 08:09:35 AM
We have different best and successful stories about our journey in the cryptocurrency, but not all the crypto user are same as we have just like the other they are bad experienced since they entered this because they buy a coin in high value and probably the price goed down and other losing money because of the scam project and anything.

That doesn't make it a bad experience if you use it for learning though. In fact, for some people, buying high and then learning to keep it and hold it for a long time, years even, can teach them to be patient, and learn about the cycles or crypto. I'm talking about bitcoin only of course, but who knows, one day it is the same for altcoins?
7488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First Glance of China's Digital Currency on: April 16, 2020, 07:53:22 AM
I think people are very confused about CBDC and digital fiat.

This is centralized as you said, no matter what. It's Facebook money, with a central bank controlling the supply and software. No developers contributing, all hired by central bank.

And CBDC is not crypto.
7489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 14, 2020, 09:49:09 AM
Honestly guys I don't know if I'm the only one who can't stand all this going on with my team Barca. I feel like there is a small media conspiracy to play up all the bad feelings, and making it bigger than it is (it's big but it's hardly a catastrophe I think). Sorry, just had to say that.

The fact that he is too young isn't an excuse for him.
He got a huge opportunity to prove himself in one of the biggest clubs in the world. If you are a valuable player you reach top performance even from your young age - just see Messi what did from the age of 19.

I don't know why people like you are so hard up on guys like him. Give him a break, he's a teenager. And no one should compare people to Messi or whoever we don't know their lives.
7490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keyless encryption and passwordless authentication on: April 14, 2020, 07:41:03 AM
Sorry guys but it got me lost out there after reading through. So keyless encryption is basically what we are all doing on a daily basis when our devices encrypt stuff right? For example I'm sending Telegram messages and it's all getting encrypted, but I'm not using any key.

But passwordless authentication, I still don't get it. My voice or fingerprint is still my password right?

Yeah, every number should have an equal chance of being hit,

No, the chance of hitting 0 and 10,000 is half of the chance of hitting other numbers.
For determining the outcome, some calculations is made and a hex string is obtained and is converted to a decimal number. Then, the decimal number is divided by 429496.7295. As the output is a decimal number, it needs to be rounded off to an integer.
Since only decimal numbers between 9999.51 and 9999.99 can be rounded off to 10,000, the chance of hitting 10,000 is half of chance of hitting other numbers.
There's a same thing for zero. Only decimal numbers between 0 and 0.50 can be rounded off to zero.

Ah I see, thank you for that explanation, seriously, I had no idea this was the case! So you mean hitting 10,000 is actually, (roughly estimated as) 1 in 20,000 chance and not 1 in 10,000?

If I set myself to do freeroll 10 times a day, that means I still need about 6 years to run through 20k rolls. The $200 winners really are lucky;)
7492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which slot do you like most in Sportsbet on: April 13, 2020, 07:39:37 AM
That is your experience with the title though, right? For me, I would always choose slots that either have a high jackpot OR has the lowest edge and there the problem is why I don't play slots. House edge is way too high for me, never seen any slots with 1% house edge like dice (but I like Sportsbet, just I don't like slots!).
7493  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo0.2BTC DailyJackpot$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 12, 2020, 03:12:45 PM
Hitting 00000 could be as challenging as hitting 10k honestly, that is equally rare to hit but the game is designed that way so that you are required to hit higher numbers and not lower and 00000 is the lowest you can get so you are technically doing something very rare but also you reached the worst possible bet ever Cheesy.

If you guys think 8888 or stuff like that are more plausible and you think you can take advantage of it, there is always gambling, plus while you are gambling there is so many thing going on as well, from free reward points to free tickets to increasing freeroll to getting more wagering amount later (with condition of rollover of course) and getting lambo tickets as well. So you can not just try to get 10k but you can take advantage of 00000 as well.

Yeah, every number should have an equal chance of being hit, I'm not saying I've hit 8888 or 0000 so I should go for it all the time. All I'm saying it I have freerolled probably less than 10,000 times, and that even if I did, I may still not see the magic number come up. Proof of this is I haven't even hit 9994 to 10000.

If I knew I could take advantage of 8888 I'd bet on Jackpot a lot;)
7494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice site? on: April 12, 2020, 08:44:38 AM
OP Seuntjie will never be fast on any site because it is not a direct connection (via API). However, for most sites you can log into it on a few tabs simultaenously and it should work a bit faster. As someone above recommends, Freebitcoin has one of the fastest on 1 satoshi bets. Crypto-games has no speed limits on monday also for 1 satoshi and can roll 10ms bets.
7495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 10, 2020, 01:12:56 PM
No one should rely on gambling they can make money from gambling, that's not a wise idea even in any situation. Gambling in the first place is just only a game of fun for most of us, therefore it should not take much of our time, we may even not do it on a daily basic, gambling occasionally is still recommended, but this is for online only since nothing can stop online gambling sites, unless they are close.

With this pandemic we are experiencing now, if we like to gamble, we should know what's the right thing to do.

Maybe it's time to completely stop thinking of gambling as a moneymaking thing? I mean, unless you actually WORK in the casino industry, or you are running referral/affiliate programs for casinos, ou really shouldn't be doing gambling to make money. It's just against the very logic of gambling (house wins in the end).

You really got 100K reward points only from the HI-LO game? that is some heavy betting... 0.5BTC so I don't really understand why you needed to exchange the reward points in order to withdraw funds, if the withdraw threshold is 30k satoshi...

Not really, I think I've frequently gotten the 100k levels, if I remember well at least 400k satoshi exchanged from RP, and I take the rewards bonus promotion during 3x, 4x or 5x to help me get there faster.

So at 5x, you really are just trying to get 20k RP which isn't at all impossible.
7497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 09, 2020, 08:58:56 AM
Full salary for not working fully? Don't think that'll be fair for the clubs. We all know the matches that are currently not been played contribute to the expenses of the club as it offers them the opportunity to sell tickets and also other allocation they get. The matches only offers opportunity for them to sell jersey and other accessories to fans.

The clubs need to cut down on some expenses when the league resume fully, If the footballers/workers aren't been considerate, I'm quite sure we'll see news popping up of clubs sacking some workers after them getting paid and the footballers not getting a new contract especially for those that haven't been that productive to the clubs.

Everybody has the right to get their full salary it doesn't matter who they are, football player, grasscutter, stadium painter. But the worse thing is, some people who CAN opt to get paid less for not really doing anything, should. And if normal people get reimbursed by government, do football players also?
7498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple trading advise for newbe that should follow on: April 07, 2020, 08:04:59 AM
Trading is really risky if you take it easily without basic preparations. This is the reason why trading  is not for everyone because most of the newbies today are expecting immediate profits without even studying the market well and how the crypto coins perform in the market. It's really a must to gain knowledge first from reading books and other resources and watching demos in the internet so you can minimize you losses once you start trading as a newbie.

So is anything in life. Check out the ads done online for all these trading apps, they all have those statistics that say 76 or 82 or whatever of traders LOSE money. Are you saying the majority of traders don't make basic preps? I tell you, even so-called experts and veterans lose money after a while because they get confident after a few wins.

Trading is also like in some online earning sites such as E-gambling platform, Investment platform and other online platforms that is used in earning money. In using those platforms are not 100% sure in earning profit every day, because we can’t predict our winning in just simple try. I must advice to all newbie in trading is to be patient on studying the flow of many. Second, is don’t be too greedy in a simple winning because if you feel greed your mindset and actions will also affected on it and maybe it will lose you on every time you trade.

Dude. Take one minute, breathe, and read about what people are really talking about. And then, if you have any actual experience, then you contribute. If not, seriously, do you even know what you're talking about?
7499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gamification Works in the iGaming Industry? on: April 06, 2020, 08:16:18 AM
Gamification is something that is a broad term, there is levels for example in many casinos as a VIP, now in any sense of the word you can assume that us gamification but honestly is using "level" word enough for gaminification? You can say premium vip and it wouldn't sound like one, you can say diamond vip and wouldn't sound like one, but as soon as you say level 2 vip that sounds like gamification.

There are other stuff like that but I still think it is not really too much gamification around crypto casino world. In the outside world you can see websites that are doing this better, it allows you to earn experience points, allows you to get higher levels, allows you to spend the points you earn on stuff that will get you further as well, basically all around much better implementation.

Interesting take. I actually remember discussing before and saying things like Gold, Silver, Executive makes it sound like more businesslike, whereas saying Levels are more akin to gambling and gaming, which makes people really want to go higher. On CGN they use "military" ranking like Private and Sergeant and that's also definitely gamification to me.

Allegri newcastle? I initially thought he would be the good one to take over either Chelsea or even Manchester United but since those two decided to stick with their old boys I guess Newcastle isn't a bad deal either. Don't see how though they couldn't stick with Benitez and swapped for another Brit, why would they take Allegri?
