Seems like Brazil was countered. Germany was keeping their cards secred tor a long time.

Counter was putting it gently if anything they were downright repelled and stampeded over a few times.
Anyways now for tomorrows game Argentina V Netherlands
(I'm not expecting another nuke going off like this one though lol)
7503  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: July 08, 2014, 09:56:49 PM
I simply cannot believe what we just witnessed!
7-1. Just wow.

That was pure destruction,
A shocking game and yes I was expecting more passion from Brazil in their home game
7504  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. W on: July 07, 2014, 11:50:36 PM
Looks like were not going to be paid for our signature campaign huh? I'm going to give it 3 days from the time he said he was going to pay before moving over to a different campaign or puttting back my own signature. Cheesy

It looks that way but it was worth a try, who knows things may change in a few days but we will need to watch and observe to make 100% certain lol.

I hope Barzani is a political genius  Smiley

So do I they would need a person who can tactically strategize and balance the Kurds interests in a fairly unstable part of the world
Of course they would need to convince the Iranian's to break apart or move to autonomy as well.
As for the Shias they can handle them if they keep the army and border secure.
7506  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE OIL AND GAS BUBBLE IS ABOUT TO POP!!! on: July 07, 2014, 11:36:32 PM

Yes new methods cost money, BUT we must not forget that there are small countries that we have already been developing (Saudi, etc) that eventually will under price any oil compared to the US market. Then eventually there will be new countries coming up and small underdeveloped countries like Bernai selling eve CHEAPER oil.

That's true enough there could be cheap reserves that are accessible in countries that are underdeveloped, in that case one needs to stabilize those countries to get access to those reserves.
The other option would be to destabilize the country and then buy the cheaper oil from the groups fighting that need funding.
7507  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 07, 2014, 11:33:20 PM
Well the DataTank news is good for AM shareholders I would imagine, now if you want some of that action, you basically only have the option of investing in AM at the moment.

Yep since indirect investment in Datatank can be had by buying AM shares due to Chip Sales
Also hope that we do get an update sooner than later although learning of more suppliers and chips being used is always nice.

Is there some way to check the results of surveymonkey against what cryptx has to say? Or is cryptx the only one who gets the final result and we should just believe what they have to say?

I used SurveyMonkey all the time for shareholder voting, and yes, the final results are only available to the issuer (though the Pro version may have more options). To get around this, I put all responses into a Google doc, obfuscated the email addresses, and shared the results. People who voted could still figure out their own email and verify their answer is accurately noted.

Seems in this case we just get to take Cryptx's word for it...which is obviously unacceptable.

True Cryptx Should publish a list on google docs with obfuscated e-mails as well that show how people voted
It's all about transparency

Just from looking at the screenshot I would say the "correct" download button is on the upper right and the play/download buttons in the middle are ads. I would think that hovering your mouse over the link should show links that are apparently ads as well (unless Java is used to change what is displayed)

Correct but there are worse ones out there
I just couldn't find a good screenshot for one Smiley
Here is a moderately harder one although I recall that a few sites don't do show underlying url links
7510  Economy / Securities / Re: Havelock Securities At A Glance: The SRS BZNZ Edition on: July 07, 2014, 10:31:56 PM
@Swordsoffreedom:  Thanks, will update today, though since SD was an MPEx offering, with Havelock acting as a passthrough, hope I won't be accused of pimping MPEx Cheesy

Done.

No problem, ah and don't forget cavirtex Smiley
That one is easier to track just 30 dollars in fiat linked to BTC as the price haha and NO on the chart lol.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=218435.msg3998459#msg3998459
The share price will be fixed at $30 CAD per share (due to our Canadian dollar valuation) but priced in BTC. At the time of this writing [March 18, 2013] using an exchange rate of $46.875 CAD/BTC one share will cost 0.64 BTC. The BTC price will change on Havelock every hour as the BTC/CAD exchange rate changes."

7512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Craigslist on: July 07, 2014, 08:09:40 AM
This is a good way to both make use of, and raise awareness of bitcoin. It doesn't cost anything to add that one sentence to your ad.

True a user can also add also accepting Bitcoin to whatever they are selling on Craiglist without causing to much headache.
If someone bites its awesome if not well some people might go what the heck is a Bitcoin and learn about it Smiley
7513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every Song About Bitcoin, Reviewed on: July 07, 2014, 08:06:01 AM
I dont want to hurt anyones feelings but 90% of the bitcoin songs are embarassingly bad.

Friends hear them and roar with laughter.   Mocking.  And they should.

-B-

So how does that differ from most popular music? embarrassingly bad for sure!

^_^ Ah you guys crack me up I kind of have to agree
The songs are pretty bad sometimes but I have grown a taste for them Tongue

7515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the remaining silk road bitcoins after the trial? on: July 07, 2014, 08:02:28 AM
Does the FBI have access to the remaining wallets in the first place? (sorry if I missed the news)

The dailydot.com website says they have access to the remaining wallets and put all the coins in the address linked to below.

https://blockchain.info/de/address/1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPH

The Bitcoin address now known as DPR Seized Coins finished receiving the mass of cryptocurrency early this morning, an FBI official told Greenberg.

http://www.dailydot.com/crime/fbi-bitcoin-seized-28-million-silk-road-ulbricht/

Ha! I checked out the Blockchain.info link to the DPR address 1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPH. It appears a few random people have sent small amounts of btc to that address for the hell of it. Most appear to be transfers of 0.001 btc.

Think I am going to send 0.001337 btc over just for the hell of it ^.^
People are sending small amounts to these types of addresses because they know that a lot of people are looking at them and they put public messages on the TX to try to get people to give them BTC

It's also kind of funny that one can consider them as donations to the government
They have a nice little balance growing although it does make for a nice place to put a dedicated advertisement that targets Bitcoin users

ANY database is vulnerable to hacking and Bitcoin will be NO different. I hope that many wicked A-holes lose big $ with this financial misadventure.

Ask anyone in Iceland about their adventures with Bitcoin style crypto currency.
Only those who are vested in making fast money in this pyramid style fast money data mining scheme are the only winners.
So verign states and countries should not be have to be the victims of a pipe dream that has demonstrated more losses than gains.

Washington accepts Bitcoin and sells it on ebay.

It's just another bubble thing controlled by others. The small fish drive up the price till a ceiling is reached and when the bubble bursts the small fish end up paying the bills and the big fish profit again from it.
Large amounts of coins are being kept out of the loop by the big fish to drive up the price again too.
Nothing new and perfect here. Just different people filling their pockets with other peoples misery.

Bitcoin is what will make one world government . Called AntiChrist. The next thing will be chip that has to be implanted into anyones hand in order to trade.

Bitcoin is a fake, a fraud, and a scam. Find it interesting this article does not mention bitcoins recent wild gyrations in value. In fact, speculation remains the main impetus behind bitcoin as there are traditional coins that provide what bitcoin does but with greater liquidity and absolutely proven safety. Want to play with coins - do so with something like the Maple Leaf, U.S. Eagle, etc - you can't go wrong with those.
__
Following a 3 month investigation by various Obama agencys to find Bitcoin attack vectors and vulnerabilitys, Obama has also enlisted his goons to setup and trap Bitcoin sellers under the guise of 'Money Laundering'.

Undercover agents have succeeded in entrapping Bitcoin sellers by telling them they either intended to use the Bitcoins they purchased for criminal use or the undercover Obama goons deliberately pushed the Bitcoin sellers into going over a Federal or State currency exchange limit ( varies State to State).

Tho se latest Obama victims were charged with 15+ yr prison sentences, no laughing matter

Currency with no real backing by real commodities is always a pyramid scam. They need backing. And check out the competition if you've freat need to move money this way. Trick is don't hold it. There's something like 50 services available easily listed on Wiki. The title for this article does baffle me though. Did Bitcoin write it and submit? There's no revolution and Bitcoin is just one of many and not the best for most people's needs anyway. Reads like a Bitcoin ad. I'll never use it.

Bitcoin is very elaborate and Ponzi-like scam that will eventually collapse. once it does do not come crying home to your mommy.

If she comes out as a homosexual, then actually she will lose votes from the centrist voters

Those are the Trendies who relish the idea of being able to tell their friends how they voted a gay, female into office.

Mumble I think that would turn me off from voting if I was an American
Oh yah I voted for Hillary cause shes gay me ... hmm I don't have many choices in this political system do I lol.

7520  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE OIL AND GAS BUBBLE IS ABOUT TO POP!!! on: July 07, 2014, 07:38:01 AM
not this agian
back in the 80's oil was supposed to run out by 2000.

you can make coal into oil commercially, its called the haber method. there is enough coal to do this for thex 100 year or more, then there are thorium reactors etc etc.

Peak oil has been a BS since M.King Hubbert came out with it he did his calculations without accounting for the Unconventional's
Fracking and Off-Shore Drilling and coal to oil to name a few.

To be more accurate we have been finding new supplies of oil consistently and a Mckelvey Box is the true way to measure oil supplies
With Commercial Oil - Profitable
Non-Commercial - Not profitable
And Undiscovered reserves

The real problem is that the cost of getting this new oil is increasingly expensive as the easy reserves are found and depleted the base price for the new oil increases as well.
These higher prices make non-commercial oil commercially profitable to acquire and lead to the higher oil prices.
