7521  Other / Meta / Re: Account Recovery -Junior Member Status Required? on: September 15, 2018, 07:36:14 PM
Rank of your alt account doesn't matter in this case. It's just a sad reality of Bitcointalk that almost all account recovery related messages are ignored by admins and your story isn't exception. theymos said that he aren't recovering accounts anymore. Don't know about Cyrus, but I haven't heard about successful account recovery cases in recent 10 months maybe.
theymos is working to make automated account recovery system, but I have no idea when it will be finnished. So, people who lost their accounts now are forced to wait in frustration
7522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What keeps you here, why? on: September 15, 2018, 05:41:04 PM
I won't try to hide something - one of the reasons why I joined Bitcoin world is money. Few years ago I was looking how to make extra money online. And Bitcoin helped me a lot and gave me huge opportunities. Now I can earn decent money in Bitcoin by monetizing my personal website, promoting faucet ref links, trading and etc.
But it's not only one reason. Then I didn't wanted to keep all my money in banks, I wanted to get a bit independence. And also I believed that Bitcoin is future.
Now I still believe that Bitcoin (and crypto in general) is future, so I don't see any reasons to leave. Yeah, there is bear market in recent months, but I don't care because I'm hodler Smiley
7523  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Nano S or Kasse Hardware wallet on: September 14, 2018, 11:27:11 PM
It's more common when people ask which wallet to choose : Ledger Nano S or Trezor. Well, it's the first time when I hear name of Kasse, seems that's a new player in hardware wallet market. As you see, almost all people here suggest to buy Ledger. I agree with their opinion, why to look for alternatives when there are top line product in the market.
I don't know anything about Kasse, I can't say it's good or bad wallet. And there aren't many reviews on internet about this wallet. I think it would be better to wait before buying this wallet until this company will establish in the market. When it will happen? Don't know, I saw some more new hardware wallet companies starting their business in recent year, but they didn't become popular because Ledger and Trezor have very strong positions in the market.
7524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 14, 2018, 07:22:21 PM
I just put my predictions for this week and I see 8 or more persons have not made any predictions so hopefully they see this post and start posting their predictions too. It would not be fun if some persons forget to post their pics for one week as this tournament is too close until now.
Thanks for reminder, maybe not all guys here aware that international break has ended and club football returns. Well, I didn't forgot about it, usually I'm puting my predictions just few hours (or few minutes Cheesy) before kick-off of first match.
For me it's very difficult to pick result of Tottenham - Liverpool and Watford - MU matches, I still didn't decided who are going to win it.
7525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ICO signature or signature for bitcoins? on: September 14, 2018, 10:56:38 AM
This question is without straight answer. When you join Bitcoin paying signature campaign you know how much you will earn because their payment rates are fixed. There are long term, high paying signature campaigns like Chipmixer and many short term campaigns with low and average payment rates which runs only for few weeks or months. Also, Bitcoin paying campaigns have bigger requirements for participants - good post quality, Merit and etc.
It's more difficult to determine profit from ICO signature bounty. It depends on many factors like success of ICO, number of participants, number of tokens allocated to bounty. It's more risky to join bounties because you don't know how much you will earn. I suppose that sometimes you can earn better money than from Bitcoin paying campaigns, but in more cases you will earn peanuts only or will be scammed at all after months of participation.
7526  Other / Meta / Re: What is the protocol if theymos won't reply regarding and account suspension? on: September 14, 2018, 10:33:28 AM
was suspended
Means banned? There are 4 kind of bans AFAIK.
3 days
7 days
30 days
Permanent

Which one do you have? If this is a permanent one then forget about it. You can not even use this account (except meta board) too because of the following rule...
Read bellow part of OP comment - as moderator explained him, their account was nuked.
I don't know what you did wrong exactly, but as TryNinja said, it's very unlikely that account will be restored. Mods aren't nuking accounts without any reasons usually. And you have to be very lucky to get reply from theymos, he have more important things to do.
7527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to add Images and Banners in Bitcointalk.org on: September 14, 2018, 10:11:52 AM
You will achieve that in 2weeks with 3 posts per day, you need 100merits though before you can become a sn member.
No, 100 merits is needed to become Full Member, while to become Sr. Member you need to get 250 Merit. And about activity - you can get max 14 activity in two weeks period. So, it's enough to make one post per day to get max activity. Anyway, activity doesn't means much if you don't have Merits earned.
7528  Economy / Reputation / Re: Wtf who did this? on: September 13, 2018, 11:29:16 PM
Please wait bro.I hope your problem will be solved as soon as possible. If anybody know about this issue then please help our brother.

His "problem" was already solved. He got what he deserved - red trust. That's it, case closed.
I am very sorry brother. Just don’t worry about this and keep clam. I hope that the problem will be solved automatically. Please don’t so much concern about this.

Automatically? LOL. Do you think that these tryst ratings will expire or will be removed? Forget about it Cheesy
Thank you brothers for support Smiley
Is it these guys who support you is your alt accounts? Smiley
7529  Other / Meta / Re: Hosting provider for BitcoinTalk on: September 13, 2018, 11:18:15 PM
IIRC, theymos said something about using AWS instances as a reverse proxy to help combat DDOS attacks, and possibly for scaling issues.

I am not sure if this is still the case, but you used to be able to spin up a free AWS instance with just a credit card, that was free for a year, and I am pretty sure they would let you pay for AWS via your gift card/account balance.

theymos' identity is public, and anyone should be able to find it via a simple google search.
Interesting. Theymos is not as anonymous as I assumed. I always thought he operates from an undisclosed dungeon. I wonder how many times he has been mugged so far!!
Yeah, I also think that theymos (or Michael Marquardt?) isn't anonymous person. He said that he have to make accounting, pay taxes and do other invisible job, I hardly can imagine how he would be able to do it as anonymous person. And these boring things like accounting is one of the reasons why theymos don't have enough time for forum developpment.
7530  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to join a signature campaign, anybody willing to pick me up? on: September 13, 2018, 10:13:55 PM
Here you go - Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 13-Sep-2018] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
As you can on the list, there are 5 campaigns which accept new members currently.
You also can try Bounty campaigns, it's basically same thing as sig campaign, but they are paying in new tokens. But you have to choose campaign wisely if you want to earn something because there are lot of scams or tokens without future.
By the way, you returned to forum after few years of sillence. Someone may suspect that account changed their hands - it was sold or hacked. So, I recommend you to post signed message from your old staked Bitcoin address to prove that you're original owner of account Wink
Welcome back!
7531  Other / Meta / Re: Help me unbanned my account and retrieve it... on: September 13, 2018, 10:45:24 AM
I think you should tell your username and someone from staff members will be able to tell status of your account.
If after 7 days your ban aren't lifted, it means that you've been permabanned. One of reasons why you may got permaban is ban evasion. You're not allowed to post on Bitcointalk using alternative account while your main account is banned. Another common reason of permanent bans is plagiarism.
7532  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Revitalizing the Local boards on: September 12, 2018, 11:44:22 PM
I think in general, people interest in cryptcurrencies reduced if we compare what we saw in the end of 2017- start of 2018, and it probably affected activity of local boards. I read analysis in Meta board that there was less new sign ups on Bitcointalk in recent months. More experienced users posting (or spamming) in main boards, they're not so interested to post in local boards because bounty campaigns aren't paying for posts mace in these section. Meanwhile there aren't so many new people joining this forum who would ask basic questions about exchanges, how to buy crypto and etc in local boards. But I suppose if Bitcoin would start to go up again, we would see new wave of people coming into crypto world again.
I think that all local boards should have Merit source. But there is one problem. Some of smalker local boards don't even have dedicated mod, not only Merit source. Probably theymos can't find right people because these communities aren't big and there aren't enough users with solid reputation. And on the other hand, while these boards aren't very active, theymos don't see big demand to appoint mods and Merit sources for these boards.
7533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [btc] How to post a valid Signature campaign on: September 12, 2018, 10:47:29 PM
Maybe you have to ask your bounty manager why your posts weren't counted. Have you checked rules of bounty campaign. I looked your post history and I see many bounty reports here. Probably posts in bounties section aren't counted. Also, it's possible that manager rejected your posts because it was low quality. You should learn how to make constructive posts. I wont post links to guides how to make quality post, I will only give link to list of top merited users: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topusersat
Look, how really good posts should look. I hope you'll get idea how to make good posts.
And, as other guys said, you should improve your English or stay in your local board.
7534  Other / Off-topic / Re: Yeah, smart move Facebook. . . . on: September 12, 2018, 10:32:39 PM
Is is there archived version of this video? I would like to see it and try to find reasons why it was deleted. I read somewhere that Facebook are trying to fight against fake news, maybe it was reason why they decided to delete it. Offcourse, it may be just obvious censorship. They like to block content if it have lack of political correctness.
P.S. Sorry for dumb question. Anonymous is the same guy (or group of people) who are saying that 9/11 was inside job and spreading similar conspiracy theories?
7535  Economy / Auctions / Re: * Legendary * Account. 1Y+ staked addr, Orig. email, Priv key on: September 12, 2018, 10:53:57 AM
If you want to check every single Legendary, be my guess Cheesy They are enough to waste your half life.

Because having the private key from the staked address and the original mail where you could change the email password, nobody can notice its used from a new person.
You don't have to check every single Legendary member to notice that account changed their hands. It's easy to catch sold account if it start to make one liner shitposts and something similar. Or for example new owner start to posts in local boards.
And selling account with private key of staked address isn't a perfect protection of buyer. You, as original owner of account still can try to recover account by using signed message from staked address. Don't know, you're legit seller or no, but buying Bitcointalk accounts is risky, not trustful and not recommend thing.
7536  Other / Meta / Re: Some topic should sticked. Moderators please check & consider if possible. on: September 11, 2018, 10:50:07 PM
I don't think that we need more sticked topics. Yes, these links that you're posted is helpful and useful. But I think it would be better to create one sticked topics with links to all these helpful threads. Something similar like shorena did in past:
[Overview] The one thread to link them all
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1217042.msg12752676#msg12752676
It would be nice if someone would make updated version of this thread.
I also hope that theymos soon will create dedicated board for guides.
EDIT. I found guides index thread made by LoyceV:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4928968.msg44399473#msg44399473.
probably it would be best to make this topic sticked.
7537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: September 11, 2018, 10:31:36 PM
Spain trashed Croatia 6:0. It was real Furia Roja Absolute dominance. Assensio - 2 goals and 3 assists. Modric and Rakitic was invisible tonight.
And it seems that Iceland football dream come to the end - not impressive performance in World Cup and now they conceded 9 goals in just 2 games of Nations league.
What I can say - A division and some B division matches are really interesting to watch. C division is for these who want to watch mediacore football. And D division - I watched one game and my eyes were hurt watching this amateur football Cheesy
7538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips How to Make Money with Bitcoin on: September 11, 2018, 10:46:31 AM

Bitcoin Trading
Day Trading
Trading Bots
Bitcoin Futures
Binary Options

Those are the great way to part with your bitcoin, not earn.
You're right, it's definitely not the safest way to earn Bitcoin, especially for beginners. It's very risky, but if you know what you're doing you can earn solid profit.
Other mentioned methods: Paid to Click websites (PTC) is the biggest waste of time. Maybe you can earn $0.01-0.02 per day. By using faucets and microtasks you also will earn only peanuts. Writing articles, blogs, providing services requires skills to earn something. Bitcoin lending requires to have initial capital. Mining requires big investments to buy hardware and it's not very profitable. And bounties sometimes can be risky because there are so many scams and at the end you may get nothing.
7539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 11, 2018, 10:25:18 AM
Ferarri and Sauber announced today that Kimi will leave Ferarri after end of this season and will join Sauber. Leclerc will replace Kimi in Ferarri.
What do you think about it? Personally, I think that it's a bit to early for Leclerc to be in Ferarri, he don't have experience. I don't think that he can bring same amount of points as Kimi does.
I'm not fan of Ferarri and Kimi, but I would like to see him winning a race before he will leave Ferarri...
7540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Sportsbook and Casino | Bet with BTC and BCH | 100% Deposit Bonus on: September 11, 2018, 09:55:24 AM
I have a question:

Why my win is partial and what does it means? Only 2 goals was scored in this match, so it's under 2.25.
