I'm watching the live score on Murray vs Bautista and it seems that he went 2 sets down but recovered and won the next 2 sets. Just amazing though. But it looks like he is out of steam right now as the score is 5-1 in favor of Bautista. He is on the brink of losing this game, so there's no fairy-tale ending for Andy in Australian Open.
7542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to go for 10,000% plus profits in 2019? on: January 14, 2019, 11:50:57 AM
Maybe the OP has read articles like this:

Well obviously XRP has a exponential growth in 2017, but you need to understand that year was really bullish and probably there's a lot of newbies who entered but doesn't understand a thing about crypto investment and they got burned in 2018. So we might not see those kind of growth right now, might take another 2 years or more. But if it does happen again, I'm expecting most of the top 10 will grow but I don't see it getting to that percentage again. Might be 'safe' to go with Bitcoin if you really wanted to see profits in the future, IMHO.
7543  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-10]Bitcoin Loses $4,000 Price Level, Crypto Bear Markets Continue on: January 14, 2019, 11:26:41 AM
I'm surprised that the Chinese aren't being blamed for this, new regulations in china have just been announced and this usually coincides with a massive dump. We can expect 3500 soon

I'm not aware of a new regulations coming from the Chinese but it looks like we are testing $3500 again. Obviously, the $4200 attempt was futile not enough push from the market and I guess investors are realy on the waiting game and just taking profits as they see fit.

We can call it manipulations or just speculators who are always one step of the game right now. They will simply create artificial spike in the price and if they see that's no one is biting on their show then they easily sold-off, rinse and repeat.

Post your requirements in the Services board so that you can attract a lot of potential applicants. Again, just be careful for newbie accounts though, much better to hire someone who is established is this community as scammers are roaming and rampant here. Goodluck.
7545  Economy / Economics / Re: Notable Bitcoin Critic Claims Price Likely to Hit $5,000 In Near Future on: January 13, 2019, 12:27:11 PM
$5000 seems to doable, but obviously there's a lot of barriers that we need to overcome before we can reach that levels. $4200 seems to be the biggest or the hardest barrier to go through, we already touch it but it didn't sustain any momentum so it's going to be difficult to get to $5000 but possible.

Guys, how much can one pay attention to the various forecasts of all these experts, if we all know that no one can accurately indicate what price the coin will be in the future? All forecasts are just guesses and most of them are made for manipulation and for one’s own self-interest.

Right, but this guy give some reasonable prediction. As compare to those so called "experts", who predicts exorbitant price which we all know won't happen because we're still in the bearish market.
7546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 13, 2019, 11:59:07 AM
De Minaur took a first career title, beating Andreas Seppi in the Sydney final. The Italian veteran was actually up a break in both sets, but those were somewhat of an aberration – they were his only breakpoints in the match. Ultimately this was De Minaur's to lose, with his hefty superiority on serve: 73% first serve vs 52%, and more potent with those he landed. From the baseline his movement and effort allowed him to to outlast Seppi, with the home crowd providing an extra edge when needed. "It's crazy that this actually happened," he said in the on-court interview. "I thought it wouldn't happen. Third time lucky, and you guys don't know how much it means to do it in front of all you guys, in front of my home." De Minaur 21w 33ue; Seppi 27w 41ue. De Minaur 7/5 7/6.

This was great to see this young talent win his first career title against a pretty good opponent in Seppi, it was never going to be an easy task for De Minaur but he outplayed Seppi on the day and deserved the win. I just hope that this hasn't taken a lot out of De Minaur just a couple of days before the Australian Open and that he had to play two matches on the same day. The organisers of the Sydney International got the scheduling wrong and something needs to be done next year.

I knew you gonna say that.  Grin. Well this might be the start of something big for this kid and for the Australian tennis in general. His young, I think his body can recover that fast although it might be mentally tough for him. I'm not aware of any mis-scheduling though, so the organizers screw everything and I hope that this is the last we're going to hear about that. So let's follow De Minaur career and just like I said, his developing and will improve in the next couple of years and hope to see him win a Grand Slam for Australian tennis.
7547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 13, 2019, 11:45:14 AM
would you open a loan to buy the dip? and when it dips again you would open up another loan to buy the dip. and lets say repeat the process. probably no one is doing this. because being in debt is a bad thing. just depends on far u would invest into bitcoin or even crypto currency. sad it has to dip in the first place.

No. It doesn't make sense because of the risk involved, the risk to reward ratio is too high.. You may never know when the price moves, so in case the price dip what will happen to you? I will not entertain that idea no matter what. As what we always preach here, "invest what you can afford to lose". And besides, it's not investing but pure gambling on your end if you take out loans. So just save cash like weekly and monthly and then invest when you're ready, this is much better alternative, IMHO

7549  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Does a Legal Adviser make an ICO more "legal" and free from scams? on: January 11, 2019, 12:10:46 PM
What are the core team members and advisers you're looking at when judging on ICO? Does a reputable legal adviser change an overall picture? How can you check on their reputation?

Not really, I mean why do they need them in the first place? If they operate under the law legal adviser is not needed. They could be lawyers, but I haven't seen anyone really focusing on crypto as this market is still in its infancy, so I don't believed that we have enough 'crypto lawyers' today. How to check their reputations? Go around the web, look for their profiles and check the people behind if legit or not.

7551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 11, 2019, 08:44:50 AM
Continuing on the link Kemarit shared, Pacquiao, Mayweather come face to face at Clippers game. Read the comments about the news.

https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803493

The posters there are into boxing more than the average fan, I reckon. But a greater part of their comments do not want Floyd versus Manny 2.

Does that imply that such an event is not ready?

Right, there's a lot of well informed users in that community so I'm not surprised that they don't what to see a rematch. But it doesn't mean it's the consensus though, we all know that they are a lot of a casual fans on both side who really wanted to see them fight. But I speculate it won't bring the needed hype, there's no more drama between the two and they're old, to say the least.
7552  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-10] Will Japan Approve a Bitcoin ETF? on: January 11, 2019, 08:32:38 AM
Most likely we will see Japan going on that direction, but not this year though. The articles says that they are considering so it may take some time though as they need to study how it will affect their crypto involved specially what positive consequence it can bring to their country. Good thing is that Japan is really committed full support on crypto so it will just be a matter of time before FSA will approved it, might be even gave the go signal ahead of US SEC.
7553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Crypto Market Remains ‘Moderately Bearish’ in 2019 on: January 11, 2019, 08:11:07 AM
That's really frustrating to see the CMC chart. The prices of top coins are dropping very cheaply, I was hoping for a massive pump as the first priority but crypto has some other thoughts. I think some big whales will be behind this downfall.

Then you need to be mentally tough here because we will see the price fluctuating wildly in the first quarter. There's no indication of bull run and we might experience another drop to $3000 something if panic sellers will push the sell button. Possible that whales tried to manipulate the price again, or speculators getting bored of the sideways trend we have been seeing and just decided to dump to take some profits, rinse and repeat.
7554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 11, 2019, 07:27:54 AM
I just saw the news that this could be Andy Murray's last Grand Slam, he held a press conference not too long ago where he said he will compete in the Australian Open and then hopes to play his final tournament of his career at Wimbledon. We could all see this coming after his pratice match with Djokovic where he just didn't look right but he is going to fight on and try his best in the Australian Open. I just hope that he can get through okay and end his career at Wimbledon. Its sad to see a great player have this one injury that will likely end his career.

Ouch. sad to see Andy Murray going out this way. That injury really took a big tool on his body, I was really hoping that he can still play more tennis, but it seems his body is giving him a different signal. Maybe if he really took a break and didn't compete in August of last year, possible that this scenario might have been avoided. Anyhow, we just hope for the best if ever this is a permanent retirement for Andy.

It's because @LoyceV is an AI. You want proof? Here's some:

7556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 10, 2019, 10:00:18 PM
~ snip ~

It appears that the Floyd versus Pacman 2 storyboard is really where the powers behind boxing want this to go. However, are the fans ready? I reckon they will only be if the hype is set up right hehehe. We do not want any reminders of their previous scam, I mean fight hehehe.

You mean powerful boxing promoters like Al Haymon? Yes, it could be, the money is still there in the table, might not be the same as the first one, but definitely everyone could end up with millions on their pocket. As for the fans, I'm sure everyone is interested to see a rematch as both fighters has lots of boxing (casual and die-hard) fans. I wouldn't call it a scam though, they will give the fans a good show specially on the side of Manny Pacquaio. He has to show that he is the man to solve the enigma of Floyd Mayweather.
7557  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-09] Bitcoin Price Analysis: Why the Defense at $4,000 Will Not Hold on: January 10, 2019, 09:37:15 PM
The bullish flag that's been forming for the last 3 days or so didn't hold or didn't build enough momentum causing the price to drop to $3500-$3600 again. This is alarming for some specially who keeps their hopes alive that the price will have a good bounce to $5000-$6000 and move further away from the last bottom. We have been talking about the inverse H&S for the past days and it seems we got the answer today.
7558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocoins took a big drop in value today. on: January 10, 2019, 09:27:48 PM
I think, this what we see now, is happening what everyone was afraid of - bear market is not over yet and the market is looking for the bottom.
I hope I'm wrong and this is just a temporary correction.

Definitely we're not out of the bear market yet as others might have wanted to be. It's been trying to go as to break that $4200 barrier in the last couple of days but it seems that there's a lot of resistance and it didn't hold that's why we see another market correction. This goes to show how volatile the market is, difficult to predict. This could just be another correction, as the bullish flag pattern didn't hold.
7559  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we change the chart about the inflation of BTC because the lost bitcoins? on: January 10, 2019, 09:10:15 PM
No, I don't think we need to change everything just because coins are lost. And what impact will it bring to the ecosystem? Nothing. If the coins are lost and then recovered do we also need to adjust the price again? It will just complicates thing and might create some confusion for a average user, IMHO.
7560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: Crypto Hedge Fund Says ‘We’ll See More Lows Before We Head Higher’ on: January 10, 2019, 09:00:28 PM
Everyone keeps on making up some sort of predictions but they have nothing to back it up. You can have as many charts as you can and show proof of whats going to happen on those charts as much as you want but in the end bitcoin is not tied to any chart at all.

We all know that they have something to back it up. TA, however, we all know that most of the time it's not suitable for crypto markets because of it's volatility. So I always take a grain of salt specially if someone predicting this and that, blah blah specially coming from CCN resident analyst Yashu Gola.

We move according to good news and trends, we can see a chart that shows bitcoin going as low as $1900 but that doesn't mean it will, as long as bakkt and sec gets done we will have great news to hype us and that will increase the price together. That means instead of looking at charts, people should read news and upcoming stuff, for example ethereum increased in price only because it has an upcoming hard fork, it deserved to be more than 80 dollars but 150+ dollars was thanks to the hard fork. That is why always focus on the news and trends instead of these kinds of fake predictions.

I doubt about the Bitcoin ETF though, but I'm looking at Bakkt so let's see. The Ethereum fork has been in the news since last year that bring some relief to the price specially getting close to the scheduled hard fork.
