Max bet depends on the event and when you place a bet could be different too.
This is true. I have noticed that for some matches we are only allowed to place one live bet for that event. If you try to place another live bet, the system won't accept it. For other events, there are no such restrictions.

Hello Betja,

24 hours ago I sent you an email with a very simple question  and I stiill do not have an answer. Can you please respond?
If you can't reach them over email, you can always try via the Telegram support. Here is the link > https://t.me/JASupport24. You can find the same link at the bottom of Betja.

I was wondering why is this person answering riddles that have been solved a long time ago, but then I checked the trust feedback that The Pharmacist posted about you. Everything is clear now. I guess we can't expect anything better from someone like you.
7563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: private key import says no funds on: October 27, 2021, 09:06:47 AM
Hell yeah! It was there, thank you! It just didn’t show that it had balance on my private key list.
Bitcoin doesn't work the same way as a bank account or even as Ethereum for that matter.
If you have 1 ETH and you send 0.1 to someone else, your address will now show a balance of 0.9 ETH - the transaction fees.

Bitcoin has inputs and outputs. Look at your UTXOs as individual fiat money bills. Each UTXO is one bill, no matter the amount. It works the same for 1 BTC as well as 0.0087 BTC, for example.

If you have an UTXO of 1 BTC and you send 0.1 to someone else, that entire sum will be spent in the following way:
- 0.1 BTC will go to the receiver.
- the rest (change) will be sent back to a new address in your wallet - the transaction fee.

After you made the transaction, the whole UTXO got spent, so when you imported your private key, it showed you that it had no balance. And that's correct, it doesn't. The remaining coins were sent to your change address. The private key of the change address would have to be imported to be able to spend the remaining funds.
7564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Creating a bitcoin wallet on electrum and trying to recover it on wasabi wallet on: October 27, 2021, 08:43:24 AM
If you are using a seed created in a hot wallet, that seed is already at a greater risk depending on how safe the system where you created it is. A seed generated by a hardware wallet and especially one created on an airgapped device is much safer than using Electrum as a hot wallet (or Wasabi). You further increase that risk by exporting and importing that seed into multiple other hot wallets (Wasabi > Electrum > Blockchain.com > Coinomi, etc.). The chances for a compromise are higher because multiple clients have been used with the same seed. Especially, if you are using a software that is closed-source and you don't know what it's doing.
7565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmarketcap hack leaked 3.1 million emails! on: October 27, 2021, 08:19:10 AM
I have a way to create an email without my real name or phone number included, or to use proton mail which is not centralised like others.
Maybe I misunderstood your post, but ProtonMail requires a phone number or a secondary email account when you create a new email address. They will send you a one-time code that you need to copy and paste before the new account is set up. You will have to send this code to an alternative email or via SMS. They will also ask you to enter a second email or phone number in case you need to recover the password for your ProtonMail account. This step can be skipped though.
7566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you differentiate good Airdrops from bad ones? on: October 27, 2021, 08:00:12 AM
In 99% of the time, you will just be wasting your time participating in airdrops. Those days when "airdrops" were actually airdrops, are long gone. Check out pooya87's answer above for the reasons why.

NFT is the newest hype. Airdrops that could give you some NFTs could maybe be worth your time. One day, they might be worth something. Again, it depends on the requirements to receive them. Never perform KYC or share your private keys/seeds to receive an airdrop. Those are scams that will result in you losing your money. Even worse, your personal data could be stolen, sold, and abused.

Things that are good aren't usually given for free. Apply the same logic to airdrops.
7567  Other / Off-topic / Re: YouTube channels hacked and rebranded for live-streaming crypto scams on: October 26, 2021, 07:18:50 PM
Youtubers and influencers are getting hacked because they click on unknown links that these hackers send to them. They download and run unknown software that leads to cookie theft, keyloggers, and whatnot. You would think that someone who lives and makes money on their online presence could spend some time to learn basic security recommendations, or at least pay someone to advise them about online threats. Until they start being more careful, we will keep hearing about similar incidents.
7568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pmalek’s Complete the Word Game and Get Merits on: October 26, 2021, 06:56:23 PM
8. Immutability
I think this time i should be right,
Yes, your answer is correct.

5. Duopole
6. Penality
#5 has been solved already. Your second guess is unfortunately wrong.

6. Finality
Good guess.
That's it for Round #2!

Since I have a strong feeling that @Nathrixxx guessed the correct answer for number 8, am I correct to assume that you'd be adding a different set of words for Sr. members and above, on the third round?
Yes, a new set of words will be ready for Round #3. Starting from next round, members of all ranks will be allowed to participate from day 1.

That's the point I was trying to make as well. If you allow people to use the faucet every hour (and you obviously do because that's the way it was set up), why restrict those who do it? If they can claim satoshis from the free BTC faucet, lose their bets, and keep claiming, why can't they also claim and win without getting restricted?
7570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pmalek’s Complete the Word Game and Get Merits on: October 26, 2021, 08:19:13 AM
Members of all other ranks can now participate and guess the remaining words! There are only a few left...

5. Bumpily
6. Minology
8. Occupability
The terms are supposed to be related to Bitcoin, crypto, and blockchain only.

I suggest to put the definition of the word after each round, it will help us to know more since its related to cryptocurrency or blockchain...
Not needed really. If you are interested in the terms, you can just search for their meaning on your own.

5. rugpull
but if that's what it should be - don't you write it apart?
I can swear that I have seen instances where it is just one word. Feeding the term into a google search shows two separate words. I guess this is my mistake, sorry.
Anyways, "rug pull" or "rugpull" is correct (even though you were faster to answer than me giving the green light for all ranks to participate)!
7571  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Old wallet Electrum 3.0.3.0 and Android JellyBean 4.3 on: October 26, 2021, 06:55:44 AM
unfortunately it's not the wallet that I was looking for =(
Do you have the seed phrase of the wallet you are searching for? If the seed is in a safe place and you have a way to check that the coins are still in that wallet (if you know your addresses), you have nothing to worry about. Your coins wont go missing if you can't access them on that particular phone. You always have the option to recover your Electrum wallet from seed on a different mobile or desktop device.
7572  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Battery Pandemic on: October 26, 2021, 06:44:18 AM
<Snip>
They keep delivering more and more disappointing news. It's as if they have a branch in their assembly team that is intentionally messing with their products hardware-wise.

Here is an interesting poll that a user posted in the reddit thread you linked to. He asked users to vote on how their Ledger Nano X purchase was. Out of 707 votes, 623 voted that it was in working order. The rest voted that it was either not working and was replaced, replaced with another faulty device, etc.

OmegaStarScream could use this as a reference point if he is still set on purchasing a Nano X. The poll results show that the majority of voters were indeed satisfied. Those who weren't are of course making themselves heard.
7573  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout among all major Bookmakers + Free BTC on: October 26, 2021, 06:26:29 AM
Man, many sites use this as a gesture or in most cases, to check out the site for newcomers but it's not for abuse (I really think it's kinda abuse). It's not a crime of course.
I wouldn't agree with that. One of the features of Betja is that it has a free BTC faucet that can be claimed every hour. The TOS and FAQ doesn't put limitations on the number of times a player can claim the faucet. Therefore, if someone wanted to, he could do that all the time and he would still not be breaking any of their terms. The only way to break the terms is by having multiple accounts that are abusing the faucet claims and that is not what is going on in this particular case.

Just wondering here, if you haven't made any deposit to your account, what will be your expectations here?
...
But if you have no plans of depositing to their site, is it just wasting your time?
Maybe he wanted to deposit the required 0.001 BTC at one point in time, but since his account has been restricted, he isn't comfortable doing that anymore. I could understand that. The question is, will the restrictions be lifted if he makes a deposit?
7574  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger nano X discount on: October 25, 2021, 06:50:49 PM
If those altcoins that you have are ERC-20 tokens (I am assuming they are since you mentioned MetaMask), I think you are better off keeping them in your MetaMask wallet. You can always check https://www.ledger.com/supported-crypto-assets to see if Ledger supports the assets you own.

dkbit98 is correct when he mentioned various issues we have seen in the past when there are too many coins in your Ledger portfolio. A user in our Croatian local board couldn't access or do anything with his Ledger Ethereum account for a long time because it couldn't sync with the network. The culprit was a token he had in his account there. It took a while before Ledger fixed the problem. dkbit98 maybe remembers more details about that particular case?!

@OmegaStarScream
Have a look at this.

7. Merkle Tree
Even though it seems that you made two posts in a row, that isn't the case. The user Rockstarguy wrote a post in between the two posts you made. Merkle Tree is correct!

<Snip>
You just repeated what others already wrote in the previous replies. "Contiply" is the only new piece of information that you provided.

All other guesses besides "merkle tree" are wrong!
7576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know Random opinion about this on: October 25, 2021, 09:05:53 AM
@Tuesdaynight
This thread would have been much better if you had shared your own interpretation of what that user said. But you didn't. Do you agree with his statement? Do you understand what he said, or are you asking how others interpret his words? Do you agree, disagree, things like that...

I am not really sure why he created that thread. He is saying that people should strive to gain knowledge. That knowledge will somehow help them against those who have hurt them while they were still newbies. At least that's how I see it.

Looks like OP locked the topic because there was no reason to create it in the first place, or someone reported it and it got locked by mods.
7577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kyc is deceitful if ignorant of the bad side on: October 25, 2021, 08:50:00 AM
But I also very often come across statements from those who claim that they have nothing to hide, and therefore they are not afraid to go through KYC and share their documents everywhere.
That is like standing in a crowded area screaming I am a millionaire. I made my money in a legit way and I have nothing to hide. Come visit me anytime you want! You never know who might hear you and what intentions that someone might have. It's the same with KYC data. You submit it with good intentions, but you can't know what the person on the other side will do with it. Even if it won't be used for something bad by them, there is always the possibility of hacks and data leaks.
7578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful downloading files from mail with the content free Bitcoin offer. on: October 25, 2021, 08:29:18 AM
This particular scam is new to me. I have never received such an email.
I have been getting some spam informing me that crypto transactions have been made in my name and that I need to confirm my identity and send personal documents to gain access to the money. Not to mention that plenty of local girls want to have sex with me at least twice a week. I guess word gets around quickly.
7579  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: October 25, 2021, 08:17:45 AM

2. Cryptography
3. Ponzi Scheme
4. Genesis Block
All three are correct, nice work!

1. Block Reward
2. Cryptography
3. Ponzi Scheme
4. Genesis Block
Everything is correct, but you get only one point because rosenbauer02 solved words #2, 3, and 4 before you.

4 terms have been solved and there are 4 remaining! Who is next?
