Gambling can have good and bad effects on our life. It can bring some nice profit and entertainment experience if one knows how to win in gambling and one is aware of pros and cons of gambling. At the same time, for those who do not understand gambling well, it can be a bitter experience for their life.
The good effect that I only see in gambling is that you can be entertained and it can be your stress reliever.

Most of the times, gambling is always bad for the gamblers. They always lose and if they win, they will become greedy until they lose all of their money. Losing your money in gambling can lead to depression and it can change your lifestyle since you are depressed. Better if you not gamble anymore.
7562  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting into the cryptoworld without investing anything on: August 04, 2019, 08:00:42 AM
Okay, so I started out a couple of months ago to take crypto seriously. After some research, I understood that it was a risky source of income. Therefore I set a personal goal not to invest any money in it. It took me a couple of weeks to understand how to actually earn crypto when starting with nothing. Here are some tips for those of you who want to do the same:
To be honest, I put only around 10-20$ of my personal money into crypto. The rest is purely from the bounty campaigns who paid me. I'm just lucky with them and also I learn how to manage them efficiently. Anyway, I will answer all of your tips Wink.

1: Don't EVER use faucets. They give u such a small amount that it's a waste of time, and you know what they say; time is money!
Faucets are a waste of time definitely. It is only profitable if you have many referrals because you can get a percentage of what they are claiming. More referrals = faucets are not a waste of time for me.

2: Start using these sites to get a few bucks - publish0x.com and beta.cent.co
Not familiar with this sites but if they can give you few bucks then try their websites.

3: Get yourself telegram, twitter, and discord. Most cryptos use these platforms.
I have accounts in all 3 of them but unfortunately, I'm not active with the 3 social media platforms already because I'm not active on bounty campaigns anymore (except sig camp.)

4: Follow people who share giveaways on twitter. I suggest following @Jiraya54

5: Take part in the giveaways and be active in the communities. It will definitely reward you.
Giveaways are sometimes good because they can give you money for free if you are lucky to win. Just join in giveaways and not the fucking airdrops.

PBA finals  SMB vs TNT game 1 is up.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/philippines/pba-commissioner-cup/tnt-katropa-san-miguel-beermen-5d44f405e37942077d77477f

I'm surprise SMB is the underdog here, I mean heavy underdog because they are +5.5 to get the best odds with best chance.

Doing some experiment here, I like the SMB odds at this game.

SMB -2.5 @ 3.05
SMB and over 198.5 @ 5.00
TNT/SMB (halftime/Full time) @ 11
SMB 26+ @101
.

Even in Cloudbet where I always bet PBA games, SMB is the underdog there but I'm not surprised because base on the roster and the performance TNT has a better performance compare to SMB. One reason too why SMB is underdog is their standings I think. Anyway, lets just watch them later and lets enjoy. I wish I had some beer on my side while watching  Cheesy Cheesy

My prediction will be SMB in 7 Games Cheesy.
7564  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: August 04, 2019, 02:50:24 AM

I strongly agree, Kung ang active users na gusto natin ay mahirap makuha, hindi na rin ako siguro pabor para maglagay pa ng childboard about sa off topic because it will cause more casualties like shitposting and spam. For your information, may dalawa kasing klase ng campaign, ang BTC campaign sa  Services, yun ang madalas namin salihan because in favor ang mga campaign manager nila for quality posting. While the other is bounty campaign, mostly mga spam post at puro sa alt coin discussion lagi ang mga post nila. So if ever na magkakaroon lang ng childboard about sa ibang topic, it will just be spammed by bounty participants.
I disagree too with adding another childboard here. I don't say that it will cause shitposting and spam since most bounty campaigns doesn't require posting on Locals that much but it will become inactive because of lack of users interacting with each other. Sa altcoin and Bitcoin discussion section, dun mostly nagtatago ang mga spammers na nagpopost ng mga one liners and sad to say, ilan nating kababayan ay dun lang nagpopost. Sa tingin ko hindi madadagdagan ng spam dito sa seksyon natin if may childboard man dahil hindi naman required ng signature bounty campaigns ang magpost sa Local section pero still, magiging inactive to hanggang sa magiging useless.

Still, even we lack active users, merits will serve as motivation kaya kahit sabihin mong bihira ka lang mag-post sa local pero kung dito ka naman madalas makareceive ng merits, mas gaganahan ka. Sino ba namang may ayaw makapagrank-up for a higher amount of payment?
It will serve but it will be distributed to a number of users here. As I observed, there are only around 10-20 users interacting with each other in the Local section (or maybe more). There are many Philippinan Bro users here but sadly, they are not interacting with us Sad for some reasons. To be honest, I think most of my merits came from this section and that is why I'm motivated to post here more often (even my payments in my sig. campaign decreases by a bit).
7565  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Funds Available - [btc]0.0475) Wanted Borrowers! on: August 04, 2019, 02:36:26 AM
Anong klaseng collateral ang inyong tinatanggap?
Most of the time, trusted altcoins ang ginagamit tinatanggap na collateral. Mas maganda if pwedeng itrade sa big exchanges like Binance or Kucoin.

Gaining trust will take time like in real life Smiley. I have read your post and I feel that you can be a good contributor here in the local section and in the forum. Lets help each other to make this section active Smiley.

Sa mga mabababa ang ranks, maybe they are trusted users here already so we cover their loan and so far there are no incidents of loans that are not getting paid and I hope this will continue. Would you share some rules that we can add Smiley. Thanks

7567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019: Which coin is the most profitable? on: August 03, 2019, 10:43:07 AM
BITCOIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to answer this kind of common threads but I will just answer it Cheesy. ALL HAIL BITCOIN!!!!!. It is the most profitable coin for me for the long run. Not altcoins. To be honest, nobody knows which coin will be the most profitable for this year. We can't predict the future so we can't answer it directly.
7568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 03, 2019, 10:33:22 AM
SMB is the best team in the PBA, it only happens TNT is a contender now because they have the best import.
Jones it totally beast, best import for the conference for sure.
I also appreciate TalkNTxt team, especially those rising stars on the team, each players have their role and team work.
Just like Don Trollano, Brian Heruela and also Roger Pogoy. They are totally helping the team, not totally relying on Terrence Jones.
That is why this match up will be interesting. The locals of TNT stepped up in Quarter Finals and especially in Semis. Heruela's defense, Trollano's ability to get rebounds and Pogoy's threes. Put also Castro and Rosario who can also heat up anytime. They are not relying on Jones only although they are making him as a play maker. It will be hard for SMB to win in this Finals even I'm an SMB fan, I will be neutral on the match up Cheesy.

7570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit to a newbie, Like me on: August 03, 2019, 05:41:36 AM
Good day, I just created this new account a few minutes ago.
Then welcome to the forum even I know that you're an old member already.

Anyone can suggest how to get merit.
If you are asking this because you want to rank up then forget about it. People like you who are asking "How to get Merit" and the likes are those who want to rank up easily so that they can earn higher in the bounty campaigns. Anyway to answer your question, if somebody found your post constructive then they will give you merit. Even one word post can be merited (pure stupidity or an alt account maybe).

And what is the purpose of getting merit?
To prevent spammers to rank up and earn higher in bounty campaigns. I know that most of the newbie accounts here are created for joining in different bounty campaigns. Merit system prevents these spammers and accounts who are only posting reports for ranking up.

Hope I answered it OP. Good luck with your journey here Smiley
7571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 03, 2019, 04:38:09 AM
San Miguel Beermen, as always, is the favorites to win the Finals.

Is the line for game 1 is already up? I like to know if SMB is really the favorite in game 1 so like I you, I could also put my bet on the TNT.
If they can't stop Jones, then I don't think they will beat the TNT in best of 7 games in the Finals.
Jones said in the interview that even they are in the top spot in the conference, they consider themselves as the underdog in this match-up. We know the SMB roster already and how they can dominate in the game.

2 former NBA players will clash tomorrow. I'm excited to watch this Cheesy. My prediction for Game 1 will be for TNT. I don't know who will guard Jones. I don't see anybody who can match up with him unless it will be import vs. import. SMB must stop Jones and at the same time their shooters so that they can win the championship.

7573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 02, 2019, 06:11:37 AM
It's the end of the line for GSM this conference. I really thought that they would survive another match and lead to Game 5 but with their consecutive errors and the opponent's teamwork, TNT was able to snatch the game and go to the Finals. Well, better luck next time to my fellow NSD fans. Grin
The first half is a close fight and they got the lead after the half time but the shooters of TNT heated up in the 2nd half and in the last minutes of 4th quarter, Jones lead the way and the buzzer beater of Castro put them away and demotivates them Cheesy. Anyway, there is still Governor's Cup so maybe they will get their revenge there.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the win of SMB against ROS. And I'm hoping that they'll win this conference versus TNT. Even though Brgy. Ginebra 'San Miguel' didn't win, at least 'San Miguel' Beermen will (I hope so. Grin).
I think Game 4 will be the last game for the ROS so for those ROS fans here, just don't watch Cheesy. Kidding aside, I think the SMB locals must help their import and the import must learn how to pass too. There are many shooters who are free but he chose to shoot it even it doesn't went in. Game 3 is a 1 to 5 match.
7574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 02, 2019, 06:07:42 AM
Keep playing the same game again and again also can be addictive so keep changing the games and also the bet amount to make ourself refresh and not get addicted to that.
When you are addicted, your bet amount is way higher than what you can afford to lose, and how often you gamble doesn't count anymore as you can loss a big amount of money in just one bet, especially in sports gambling.

Addicted gambler usually focus on one gambling game which they think they can win, and because it's really challenging, they also challenge themselves putting an amount that would put much excitement that could affect their financial status in life.
It is really challenging for them and they will feel more pressure as they put a higher amount on their bet. This is the problem with them. They want to challenge themselves and in the end, they will feel regret because of what they did. Yes they are focusing only on one game but they must control themselves and bet a small amount of money.
7575  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: What is the best for you to earn? A Poll for people on: August 02, 2019, 04:02:43 AM

If newbie sa crypto world, don't focus much sa mga crypto payment related na jobs and works.

Sa Binance Filipino Facebook group (not promoting it), halos karamihan dun nagsshare ng trading experience nila. If desidido kayo puwede kayo magbasa ng mga discussions dun for reference.

I don't join bounty campaigns (altcoin-paid) anymore because it is not worth it for me only I don't know for some. I'm just lucky that I joined a signature campaign who pays Bitcoin weekly.
7576  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records, here. on: August 02, 2019, 03:47:01 AM
Maybe those who are playing darts or knows a little bit of darts knows this Cheesy.

I have no specific target with regards to merit but I'm happy that I'm gaining merits Smiley.
7577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 01, 2019, 06:18:03 AM
Game 3 for Ginebra vs TNT today, I think I like to put my money with TNT, I believe they are the better team and they can bounce back and beat the Ginebra to end the series. Line now is just even for both, or we can say Ginebra is a little favorite to win this game, but that doesn't matter for me as they beat the Gins in 2 games already.
The adjustments that the Ginebra made in Game 3 give them the win. Jones didn't play like he played in Game 2 because of this adjustments and if it will continue, I think there is a chance for Ginebra to win the next 2 games. The shooters of TNT didn't play well as they are not shooting well from the 3 point line. Its hard to bet right now but I think TNT has a higher chance to win in this game 4.

So it's both 2-1 now, I was expecting SMB to sweep ROS but kudos to them for hanging on. It was a good back-and-forth battle.

I still expect the Beermen to reach the finals (3-1) and TNT (3-2).
I expect it already that ROS will not like to be swept so I put all of my money to ROS and got lucky with it Cheesy.

The 51 points of McCullough is not enough for them to reach the Finals. Game 4 will be tomorrow. Lets see if the SMB will win or the ROS force a Game 5 Smiley.
7578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: August 01, 2019, 06:12:59 AM
They are not traders. I call them "GREEDY INVESTORS".

Its hard to imagine that an average stupid so called trader will get profit even they don't have knowledge on what they are doing. They thought that trading in crypto is like counting 1 2 3 only. This is why most traders are getting a huge lost in trading because they are jumping out without any knowledge. Professional traders right now spent hours watching videos and gaining knowledge about crypto trading so an average trader must do it to in order for him to become a successful one.
7579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SEARCHING an Mentor to make my life great again on: August 01, 2019, 02:57:57 AM
Hating the system doesn't solve the problem, hating to work 8 hours daily and multiple jobs without having the mindset to succeed as an entrepreneur won't solve your financial problem. You can participate in the system but still have a goal of becoming financially free which you can achieve by investing wisely. To achieve financial success you first have to master the money game by changing your money blueprint and to do that you can rely on books as a form of mentorship. When I was in search of mentorship I started by reading books until I found the writer that suits me, in the person of Robert Kiyosaki. You can start off your financial jounery by reading his books especially"Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Rich Dad Guide to Investing.

You're a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki Smiley. To be honest, I just bought his book Rich Dad Poor Dad days ago but I have watched most of his videos on youtube and subscribed to his channel too.

The secret of achieving financial freedom lies in the 3rd and 4th quadrant (building your business or becoming an investor). I recommend you read his books and possibly make him your mentor as they would help you. He also recommends other books to read from others, who have successfully achieved financial freedom and he's a lover of investing in cryptocurrency. He believes it has the potential to replace the stock industry.
This is I want to achieve at this moment. I think I achieved to be an investor but I used not that much capital at this moment but becoming a businessman is my dream because I believe that being a businessman can make you rich. I didn't start to read the book yet but I will start later Cheesy.

To the OP
His book is one of the best selling finance books so it is a proof that his book helped many people already. Aside from his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, I think you must read his book "Fake" where he is explaining the fake money, fake teachers, fake assets etc. Cheesy

Not at all.

I just started gambling out of curiosity and lucky for me, I didn't get addicted into it and I can control myself. I will gamble when I feel that I want too and vice versa. I know that there are some here that has changed their lifestyle and spend most of the time gambling and got lost.
