7561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Indicator Flashes a Sell Signal on: June 06, 2019, 06:59:35 AM
Let's see the market will dump, then let's accept that reality, but I don't think it won't recover.
Based on the past performance of bitcoin, it's been dump many times and bounce back strong then reaches a new high.

Past performance should not be the only basis to predict the future. I think that sounds cliche but that's the truth. Sure, we might see a repeat of chart or pattern, however, that's just that. If at one point governement on earth decided to ban Bitcoin and close any exchange, 0 price is possible. But of course, that's unlikely to happen.

Just be careful and take profits whenever you're able to.

7563  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Tutorial] Cara Archive Website dan Internet on: June 06, 2019, 05:31:07 AM

7564  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bank Coin Drem Market on: June 06, 2019, 05:09:57 AM
Let's assume this project is legit. The UI and UX are definitely terrible imo. Need a lot of improvement to make it at least enjoyable to see.

Gray as the text color while the background is blue, that makes the user face difficulties on distinguishing what they type. On top of that, the background image is not so catchy. Better hire a professional designer man.
7565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Intro Video and Graphics Designers Needed on: June 06, 2019, 05:03:55 AM
If you need somebody to make a video for you, cissrawk is one of those who provide such services. Has made some quality nice video in the past imo, you can contact him here.
7566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is your prefered coin a game changer in the real world? on: June 05, 2019, 05:47:17 AM
Altcoins, most of the time, is created to be a utility token or to perform on a closed landscape, while BTC is mostly used for electronic money. At the same time, altcoins can be used as money too and this, on paper, could endanger BTC usage in the future. What makes BTC so strong is because the shared believe that BTC, as the oldest and maybe famous coins, will be dominating forever, or at least for a few decades later.

I think ETH is also a game changer, as the beginning of ETH is the start of lots of development from a different team, which give birth to many kinds of scaling solutions and so on. Monero is also a game changer as it's probably the first and most used privacy coins. Another coins needs more time to be tested, even some of them who've started their ICO two years ago are still in development.
7567  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [DISKUSI] LTO Network - Blockchain Hybrid untuk Alur Kerja B2B Terdesentralisasi on: June 05, 2019, 05:35:48 AM
Kabar baik bagi para holder LTO team benar bener bekerja mengembangkan proyek mereka. Tapi om udah resmi apa belum ya, sepengetahuan saya mereka baru mengajukan proposal mereka ke Binance. Untuk accept atau tidaknya masih menunggu kayaknya.

Mohon pencerahannya.

Migrasi ke Binance Chain dan listing di Binance Dex adalah dua hal yang berbeda gan. Migrasi ke Binance Chain ga perlu minta izin, kalau listing ke Binance Dex iya.

apakah semua jenis koinnya diperdagangkan ? kalo iya terus gimana caranya ntar kalo salah deposit

7568  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia !! on: June 05, 2019, 05:25:52 AM
This is the answer i didn't want to read. Thanks. I have only altcoins too there, lot of them.. Things like this are the dead of cryptos. Now i start being very pessimist for all the market, bitcoin and bigger coins too. Hopefully the future will prove i'm wrong.

What happened shows that any user should withdraw their funds from the exchange after they've finished their trade. Security must be the first priority for any exchange, and that they should not store their cold funds on a single place altogether. If there's any effect from that incident, it's for the exchange itself.

Crypto is not dead, you can still use crypto and development is going strong. Just because one exchange got hacked, doesn't mean you can't trade your crypto via other means, such as P2P trading.
7569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptexxx Looking for a team on: June 05, 2019, 05:11:32 AM
Any ICO project that I know to start from having a solid team with experiences on the field that they wanted to solve. If you're on that industry long enough shouldn't you have enough 'friends' that can work together with you?

I doubt anyone would buy or support your project if you only have whitepaper and website.
7570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Telegram Question on: June 05, 2019, 04:55:19 AM
Just FYI, Telegram made a new feature called archived chats[1]. You need to swipe it left to move the chat to archived chats.
Not sure if this chat will still be kept even if somebody deleted it.

Mastering bitcoin by andreas anotonopoulos
Digital gold by Nathaniel popper
The age of cryptocurrency by Micheal j. Casey and Paul vigna

Andreas made a great book. Definitely good to read and learn.

OP, you can find the resource you need by searching about "Bitcoin books" here in this forum or via Google. Get some basics first and then start discussing on Development & Technical Discussions.
7572  Other / Meta / Re: Why my post deleted by moderator? on: June 05, 2019, 04:12:17 AM
The only one who can answer this question correctly (not the possibility why) is the moderator or global mod who manage that section.

I suggest you try to contact hillariousandco or make a new thread on Meta if you want to know the answer to this question.
7573  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Questions in the mind of a Beginner. on: June 05, 2019, 03:59:23 AM
1. They'll be dropped off from the mempool if another transaction pushed them. Most of the times this happens in a few days IIRC. If there are some important transactions that got stuck as an unconfirmed transaction, you can use RBF or child pay for parents to make it confirmed, or wait to get it pushed out from the mempool and make a new transaction.

2. 1 sat is possible, you can't set fees lower than 1 sat atm. He can mine his own transaction.

3. Yes, you can send a fraction of Bitcoin. If 0.0001 BTC equals to $10, you can send 0.00005 BTC.

4. Yes, because more confirmation means that the chance to double spend the transaction is lower.

5. Yes, data such as text, or script iirc. It's useful for a lot of things. Timestamping, anchoring a document/certificate hash, for fun, and so on. Remember, computer data is just a combination of zero and one.
7574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Rebalance your Cryptocurrency Portfolio on: June 04, 2019, 04:56:45 AM
To be honest, you should have a balanced portfolio but when the market is bearish and not when the market is bullish. If you try to balance your portfolio when the market is bullish, you might miss out the chance to make good money. In a bearish market, you can think about addition of certain coins to your portfolio and they help to reduce the risk greatly.

What if you hold a shitcoin when you're in a bull market and miss the 10x run from another coin?
I think portfolio management is important whether the market is good or not. If you're in a bear market, your risk decrease. If you're in bull market, the chance to get more profits from various coins also increase.

I appreciate all the great discussion on portfolio rebalancing! We are currently working on implementing new rebalancing features for shrimpy.io and would love to hear what developments you guys would like to see. We have a lot planned, so I'd also be happy to answer any questions you have about how it works.

What have you planned so far? We'd probably be able to give new ideas if you tell us what kind of plan you have atm.
7575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading BTC pairs compared with USD-Crypto pairs on: June 04, 2019, 04:44:51 AM
i don't like to trade alt/USD pairs. often times when bitcoin volatility hits, they just stagnate or bleed down. i'm trying to accumulate bitcoins not dollars (and i hate losing coins) so that's another reason i prefer the BTC pairs.

Isn't it better to hold alt/usd pair then, as long as you can exit the market correctly? I mean, if you hold alt/btc, then if BTC rise or dump your BTC will also decrease, as most of the time alt will lose its values compared to BTC. If you hold alt/usd pair, then you can sell and then use that USD to buy more BTC. I'm not sure if this works but sounds like a good try for me.

Obviously Bitcoin trading is better, and Bitcoin trading is a different P2P transaction with Fiat trading which has margins as well as laverge to benefit and has a huge risk. Bitcoin trading is a recommendation.

I think you misunderstood what OP wants to discuss.
7576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt:$BTC appears to be stabilizing after the 12% break on Thursday. on: June 04, 2019, 04:30:24 AM
Aside from stating the obvious, I literally have no idea what the price will do. It wouldn't surprise me if it tanks back to sub $6000 levels, but similarly it wouldn't surprise me if it blasts through $10,000 just like how it blasted through $6000 not that long ago. I'm a happy hodler enjoying the current ride. Popcorn is what I'll be investing in with so much price action.  Cheesy

I'll also prepare popcorn while reading people saying "what I've said before, it breaks the support/resistance and now I'm getting the profits back". And after that, they'll promote their premium channel in Telegram.

Happened many times, pretty sure it will continue until everyone is mature enough to know how the market works.
7577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Room on: June 04, 2019, 04:24:21 AM
I haven't but i will do a good research on it as time goes by, but if you get to understand tradingveiw very well I will also recommend that platform where you get to meet up professional in the crypto market you are good with analysis.

Why not use eToro copy trade if you just want to follow the trades of a 'pro'?

They've some nice educational guide like webinar (https://www.blog.tradingroom.io/webinar/). The trading tools are the same as any other site. Sadly it only supports Binance as far as I'm aware. Definitely not on the same level as their competitors yet.

7578  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-05] Twitter User Relates Owning 1 Bitcoin [BTC] To Having 700 Acres on: June 04, 2019, 04:04:18 AM
We are still stuck on the major problem on how we will succeed on the mass adoption but people don't take that seriously and just continue to hype the market value of the coins.

It's quite understandable as most people only think about price, so anything that can boost the price of crypto to go up is important, though I personally doubt that hyping things could be successful after we see the last bear market. If people still fall for hype without substance, then it's their own problems.

What this CEO said (regardless whether it's true or not) is not necessarily wrong, in short, he just wants to point out that Bitcoin is scarce in nature. Problem is, sometimes it will be narrated as if anyone should have it because it's scarce. Scarcity is important but focusing only on that aspect is also misleading.
7579  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-03]Get Bitcoin on your Smartwatch with this Lightning Network App on: June 04, 2019, 03:38:34 AM
This is why the developers of this of this smartwatch app do really see a problem when it comes to interest because most people arent preferring on using up watches so it would be better if they would switch up if they do really
like to get some attention.

The problem does exist but it's not a big or critical problem, the alternative is easy to find and most users are fine with that. Sure, some might think that using smartwatch is more convenient but that doesn't mean they'd not be happy if they can use their phone to do the same thing. After all, almost everybody has a smartphone now while not all of them has a smartwatch.

Rather than seeing a wallet app on their smartwatch, I believe users would love to see a calling feature where they can accept and make a call via their smartwatch, like a handsfree device (don't know if it already existed).
7580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-06-03] BTC-Skeptic Buffet to Host $4.37M Lunch w/ Justin Sun on: June 04, 2019, 03:31:26 AM
Pretty sure Buffet won't change his stance just because he had lunch with a CEO.
No need for excitement for something that doesn't happen yet. If something like this is considered important, I doubt crypto trading can distance further from bull run fueled by emotion and speculation without no real use case.
