7561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to sell ETH and buy BTC? on: July 12, 2017, 10:31:23 PM
Diversifying your pocket with various cryptocurrencies isn't a bad idea since any one of it may skyrocket one day
Having bitcoin is a must in my opinion and personally i think that it will pass the 10k one day or even more so why wasting this opportunity?

Japanese airline company Peach Aviation has also recently announced it plans to accept Bitcoin as payment for airline tickets by the end of 2017.

A good move even if they are still analysing the situation / regulations...etc

Quote
In the meantime, customers traveling in Europe have already had the opportunity to pay via Bitcoin for airline tickets since 2014. Latvian airline airBaltic became the world’s  first airline to accept Bitcoin as payment for its tickets to 60 destinations in Europe, Middle East, Russia and the CIS.

Wonder know how much they earned from payments with bitcoin and how much it represents among the other payments method

What do you see here? Shocked

A mountain that hide behind it another big one and another big one and so on. The price just needs a little push to reach the first top in order to break its all time high
7564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer: BTC/USD Price Tracking and Discussion 2.0 (Unmoderated) on: July 05, 2017, 05:42:03 PM
It seems our sideways coiling consolidation is continuing... currently $2587USD (Bitcoinaverage). Summer doldrums?

~2600 is a pretty nice place to consolidate.

$2600 is a good consolidating level however the price was doing very well few weeks ago with a huge rising every day. We kind lost the previous rally, hope to see another one after this a little long consolidation  Wink

The presence of many Colombian bitcoin-based Ponzi schemes prompted the Superintendency to warn the public about the risks of “bitcoin” and further prohibited banks from dealing with it earlier this year.

Unauthorised but not illegal and this bitcoin-based ponzi schemes... Ponzi schemes exist with anything including Fiat or any other valuable things and bitcoin has nothing to do with this... The only one to blame is the blind people following such scam for fast earning!
7566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Bitcoin Price Will Be Stable - 2700 USD, So No Rush To Sale on: June 16, 2017, 05:38:47 PM
Currently in a dead cat bounce.  Still expecting a decline to around the 1000 level.  2000 by end of this year.

For the moment the price fluctuation goes green again with +$200 in the last 24 hours. However, it is too early to expect further rise
For the $1k $2k level i doubt it will be reached again unless an unexpected circumstance would happen

-snip-

Thanks for the answer. I believe I made the payment with coinbase using the QR code so normally with the amount displayed in the deposit window.
Anyway, I used to send few dollars to him from time to time using different services and this is the first time I experience this (sent 0.00216573 BTC (worth $5.87 USD) --> fees --> fees --> $0.72 final balance)
I am not asking for anything, I am just disappointed.
7568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Bitcoin Price Will Be Stable - 2700 USD, So No Rush To Sale on: June 15, 2017, 12:46:28 PM
The price haven't got sustained around $2700, it has been falling gradually. Now this has exceeded to fall beyond what people expected, because everyone was speculating about reaching $3000, at the same the price has gone down to be less than $2500. Hope the next price pumping happens in a short.

Yeah, unexpected move of bitcoin price, while many people think it will be stable or it will increase, we find it falling more than $400 ~$12xx before rising ~+70$ again. Hope to see the price soon around / +$2700 again
7569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Bitcoin Price Will Be Stable - 2700 USD, So No Rush To Sale on: June 14, 2017, 01:02:53 PM
I think it is just consolidating right now between $2600-2700, it may take few days but definitely the price will resume its positive rise and break the $3000 barrier. Its a matter of time imo

Hi UQUID team,
My brother started recently to use your service and I sent to him $3 yesterday to this address 1EkpH2YhKVfr2KYtiyBR4SwxAXrsuU3rKg
Tx : 287895eeddd6671e5ea8d78913be17ea574093ee7491f5365588fe41c2c80789 but he told me that he just received $0.7
I couldn't find an answer for this since I paid the transaction fees and there is no deposit fees for bitcoin in your service afaik
Can you verify this issue? I hesitate to send more money to him now. And he told me that he contacted the support yesterday.
Waiting for your answer. Thanks.

There are so many things going on with Bitcoin that we usually ignore negative setbacks and bumps

Hm, please be more concrete, what negative things you are talking about? Bitcoin is on the rise, оbviously will not fall below 2100USD under the most pessimistic forecasts.

I don't think that the price will fall under $2000 again soon but the best challenge in this month is to reach $3000 and by the end of the summer why not $4000, it seems hard to achieve but it could be done with the reintegration of the Chinese & far-east exchanges

Why should the bitcoin be twice as expensive by the end of the summer? After all, this is a very short time for such growth. I'm not sure that this is possible. But I understand that in the world of cryptocurrency all is possible

Bitcoin doubled the price in 2 months, starting in April. There is no thing as little time for a price double in Bitcoin

That's true, bitcoin had doubled its price in a short time and I don't think that it showed its full potential yet. Besides, there is many positive signs to let us think that this summer will be promising : the Chinese returned the withdrawal in their exchanges, Japanese market,...Etc

7574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop to $1200-$1500 on: May 26, 2017, 10:08:51 PM
Bitcoin price raised fast to $2800 in few hours and dropped in 1-2 days to ~$2200, a huge gap, a huge profit for the ones selling at the top price but the curious thing is that people continued selling their coins after the price dropped under $2400, hope they will start buying again so the ask exceeds the demands
7575  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is the best bitcoin wallet now? on: May 20, 2017, 05:24:24 PM
I dont know what is the best btc wallet now because some wallet has hidden charges.
While transfering btc to other wallet needs payment and in gambling site is so slow.

A Bitcoin wallet without fees is just imagination now after Coinbase and Xapo started charging fees.
I would recommend you to adopt to present scenario of bitcoin where transactions only work with adequate fees and rest just struggle for days.
By the way, recommended wallets for desktop is Electrum and for mobile is Mycelium. Both allow you to set fees according to your own preference.

Didn't notice this but coinbase is only letting you to avoid paying transactions fees between two coinbase accounts since it happens off-chain
Well actually I don't recommend any wallet, just use Bitcoin core or similar apps that allow you to fully control your coins and avoid the risk of hacks...
7576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we need to stop using bitcoin and start using... on: May 20, 2017, 05:09:18 PM
Eventually the value of bitcoins will be so high that we´ll be using satoshi sooner than espected.

I would agree with the idea of using satoshi instead of bitcoin in the daily usage but I think it will be more appreciated once 1 bitcoin price will rise to $5k or even to $10k  Smiley

Only a  couple of weeks ago, hacker group ‘The Dark Overlord’ uploaded 10 upcoming episodes of the “Orange Is The New Black” show  to a downlodable torrent on the Pirate Bay. Similarly, as with Disney, Netflix refused to pay the ransom.
Okay it seems people will watch the pirates of Caribbean or star wars before its official releases since thoses hackers did the same thing before
7579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop to $1200-$1500 on: May 11, 2017, 10:26:30 PM
I was planning to sell my coins for $2000,- /btc and then hoping that it would drop to around $1500,-.
Is this realistic or is bitcoin not going to drop soon? If it's not going to drop, should I buy more? I dont really need my money now & can afford to buy more.

Same question was asked before by a guy : should I sell at $1200 then buy when the price will drop to $800 or wait?
The answer selling now = fail and holding or buying = good step
At the end who knows  Roll Eyes
