7561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 08, 2017, 02:35:10 AM
I think all gamblers are superstitious to a point. Maybe not the extreme you are. But i do certain things the same way. I have a friend that before he sits to play at a table he paces back and forth 10 times and won't play at any table that has a odd umber of people playing.
Well, if you heavily trust your luck, then you are superstitious. I don't think in this way you will be able to succeed in gambling, in the long run we will lose if we will not adjust our method though. Matured gamblers does not think that way, they are more concern on how to improve their technique so it could bring them a long term success, which I believe every gambler is aiming.
7562  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: February 08, 2017, 02:21:25 AM
there's always panic selling, that will never change. It's the same as stocks, as soon as there's some rumour or bad news, people start panic selling. It's a defense mechanism just to prevent themselves from losing money. People should think wisely before selling their bitcoin.
When the price bitcoin came down from $1.100 to $800, many users including me panic to sell some stock of my bitcoin. that time I was worried that prices will continue to drop, but after the current price rise again then I began to understand that bitcoin is still alive.
Well for me I didn't do the panic selling things because I have trust in bitcoin, But sometimes my fear overcome me I sell my bitcoins when the price down that is happen to me only one time and I regret that so after that I never sell my bitcoins when it's at dump stage but before dumping I sell that and buy in extreme dump. So for me the dumping and pumping is normal I learn from my mistake so I will never do that again.
The basis of our trust here is when we have a deep knowledge about bitcoin. If we see the price will drop, we should know the reason behind and not just hold or do panic selling. Trust means nothing if you do not know what you are trusting, bitcoin is very strong right now as we can see with the good price pump, but it will not stay this time, there are times if will fall, so we have to ensure our knowledge can back our faith on this.
7563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: February 07, 2017, 12:28:57 PM
Online betting is much faster. Years ago you had to leave home, go to a casino or a bookie, stand in line, place a bet, remember not to lose the ticket... Now you can do it on a coffee break or you can even bet with your mobile phone while taking a dump Cheesy This is a revolution in gambling, that's for sure!

If you talk about the speed it doesn't matter with online and real gambling. But with the effort before you can gamble that what matters most. Because in online gambling you can just sit back and relax while playing and you don't have to go outside of your home and get into the line, travel for a couple of hours in able to gamble.
However, I still get into gambling in the real world since we can communicate and talk with many people. Moreover, I can gamble with my friends. Traveling in the long way can be considered as a exciting experience and it is very fun if you hang around in a group of people. Therefore, I still prefer real gambling over online gambling
There are a lot of friendly people over at online casinos, especially in Bitvest. It's really fun to play and has lots of different games. Experiencing it with friends are awesome and sometimes you can form friends there. It could be your hobby or just something to do when your bored. You can do that both, online or in real life. As long as you control yourself, you're okay. If not, just don't lose every money you have.
Everyone has our preference in gambling, I love both online and real gambling but I have more chance to gamble online as my friends is very busy with their job. Also, I do not want to gamble with professional gamblers in real world as I feel like I will not enjoy and will just donate my money.

Online gambling gives us a variety of games, one of those which is my favorite is sports betting, I'm doing it on a regular basis and after the game, I put my money to dice and roulette. That's how I end my day, sometimes I won, sometime I lose, but what matters is at the end of the day, I enjoyed.
7564  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: February 07, 2017, 03:35:11 AM
I agree with you,in order to increase bitcoin popularity, price and volume we need to get more businesses to accept it as a payment method. In my city I don't think there are any shops that adopted it. But the good part is that I see more and more bitcoin ATMs being installed in almost every neighbourhood.
So you can more easy to spending your Bitcoin on Bitcoin ATMs, I have heard about Bitcoin ATMs but didn't see around my City, it will be more helpful if I can spend my Bitcoin with Bitcoin ATMs. Bitcoin ATMs will make Bitcoin more popular because people still don't have attention to Bitcoin will change their mind to use Bitcoin because of Bitcoin more easy to spent.
Bitcoin ATM's have nothing to do with spending bitcoins, they are only helpful in acquiring bitcoins.
Some machines are 2 way and allow you to sell coins as well but thats exchanging not spending.
I do not know the workings of bitcoin ATM because I've never tried. but if you can withdraw cash from an ATM bitcoin, of course it would be helpful to the process of spending
Time will come we can have that in our country, it's one way of making the public know about bitcoin. With bitcoin ATM, it's like a normal banking system where whenever we need money we just withdraw from an ATM. For now, based on my experience, I don't see it as necessary because when I want to cash out my bitcoin I just withdraw it from my exchange site with ease.
7565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 07, 2017, 01:58:47 AM
If I win, I will withdraw earnings and transfer them in something real, the I can't bet with. I hope I will have enough patience not to continue betting, because when you too emotional it easy to lose everything.

We really can't say if we are going to bet it again or withdraw it immediately. Because tempt is always there even we badly want to withdraw our winnings but our minds are telling us to keep on gambling so that we can have chance of winning more and bigger amount. It always happens to me and I can't fight with that.
true , we will never can afford to control ourselves in gambling.

too much pressure there in game, you always imagine something good when you win and want more wining then when you lost struggling to recover the lost . things never went good in the end in this kind game of money.
For some irresponsible gamblers, that's true. However, I still believe that there are more people than those who lack controls are enjoying in gambling despite the fact that they lose in the long run. Controlling is one of the important key to enjoy and to last in the game, moreover, if you really want to be safe, you have to learn to control yourself.
7566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 07, 2017, 01:47:00 AM
the knicks are playing bad. i picked them -2.5 for points spread.

Lakers @ Knicks

5:58 - 2nd, 52 - 28 Lakers Lead.

The line is clearly a trap, the Lakers have been travelling on the road, I guess this would be there first win then. The Knicks are shooting bricks in the 3 point line, that's why. Carmelo got most of the points on the squad but DRose is not having a good night. This would be a sweet night for those who were able to bet on Lakers Moneyline.
7567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: February 06, 2017, 12:11:41 PM
Yes, I will still bet on games that I don't know. I will try my it maybe I
will got the "beginners' luck" and won my first bet. And even if I lose,
I will still look at in the positive way, It will be another games added
to my knowledge and maybe in the future, I will bet on that games
and win bigtime!!!

In the contrary, I only bet the sports that I know, if you don't know the which player or team is better, how can you bet? How can you find value and sure bets?

I think with taking tipster help, he will bet unknown games. And he is willing to learn new games, so he is taking the risk to learn those games. Learning new games is a good thing it will increase your betting options more in all different games. But the thing is if you bet on without knowing games you need big bankroll, because your prediction will not correct all times you need to face some losses to learn new games. If you are ok for this condition, then you can try new games.
I do not bet on games I do not know, if you are just following tipster then what you are doing is you are blindly following and that would not end good. As a gambler, we want to prove that we can win on our own, it's fine to consider other predictions but not all the time, doing it will lead us to end our journey in a very short time.
7568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones on: February 06, 2017, 12:06:08 PM
I often think to quit gambling, but I feel it is difficult because the extremely powerful gambling desires let alone when there is spare time. may I include addict gambler so most of the time I spend on gambling.

All types of addiction are like that. Even we wanted to quit gambling for good but still we are not able to help ourselves because the power of addiction is dragging us to keep on doing it. Gambling addiction is one of the hardest enemy when it comes on quitting, you are fighting with yourself and we can say that do something else to quit addiction but that is not an easy thing.

Yup all types of addictions are same, we will decide to quit but we can't it's very tough to stop any addiction activity. It is fighting b/w your mind and your greed. Your mind will say to stop gambling, but your greed will make you play gambling. You can handle this situation. If you can handle this situation means have self-control you can try to stop any addiction.
No, if you can control yourself, you will not be addicted in the first place, that's the reality. The thing is, when we spend the money we cannot afford to lose, we are too weak and since we want to get back what we have lost, the tendency is, we will be doing it over and over again as I don't think once we get back what we lose, we will quit for good. There is no satisfaction from us, and that show our indiscipline in gambling.
7569  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: February 06, 2017, 06:27:53 AM
I would not know what to do in such a situation, but the worst of them is to win by gambling. But I would not do that.I think it would be more logical to draw a loan from a bank rather than close relatives. Personally, I'd say that's the first thing I can do.

Getting a loan is very expensive since you have to pay for the interest and other charges, but who are you to refuse when you are in desperate situation. You will do everything and you will not think so much of the amount you are going to repay just to have what you aim. While gambling on the other hand is not the solution, it will only give you additional problem, I did not say it will always result to negative outcome, but most of time it will.
7570  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: February 06, 2017, 06:14:29 AM
Paper money will vanish in the next 20 years at least in the developed countries. In developing countries it will exist several years longer.
However I can not say I don't like the direction we are heading. Digital centralized, completely controled government money is a nightmare.
but i do not think so that paper money is going to ever vanish. i think it will take a lot of time unless all the people start using bitcoin and they have the facilities to use bitcoin and the facilities are easily available everywhere.
I think regardless of people will use bitcoin or not in the future. I'm sure banknotes will disappear or be replaced by something more sophisticated and flexible payment method. but of course it will take a very long time
Bank notes or paper money is here in the circulation in many years already, and from time to time there is a new found technology to ease the use of fiat that it could be in the form of digital currency. However until now, even that online transaction are already popular and widely use, we cannot still surpass the popularity of paper money. The big volume of population belongs to the poor people, so I guess they will remain in need of paper money.

Online payment or digital currencies are mostly applicable with big countries, poor countries prefer paper money.

That's true, but the presence of bitcoin will help to spread awareness that we are aiming. When people see there's plenty of ATM machine that serves  for withdrawals and deposits, then it would make them aware that there is another alternative way to transact.
That awareness will make them interested about bitcoin and we can prove the number of supporters are real and the system is legitimate.

Honestly, I have not seen a bitcoin ATM in our country, but if ever, I would like to have that same features like I mentioned above.
7572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: February 06, 2017, 04:57:50 AM
While playing poker counting the cards is also similar to make analysis about the game, in sports betting we have to make analysis to predict about the sports on that we are going to place bet, in luck based games much hard to predict even with graphs.

Example of luck based games is Dice. Using analysis on this game is just a waste of time for me, because every rolls that they are making are random, so there is now way that you can predict those rolls for you to win, maybe you can, if there are patterns that they are using but there is not. That is why every rolls that every players will make in this games, they always says "Win, win, win, win", and this is the word I always says whenever I'm gambling. I've never try poker, it is too hard for me to understand the rules.
What you can do with dice is just to limit your bankroll, the chances we have are low compared to the house so it is expected that we will lose in the long run. Those who last are really those who loves to take risk, it's a complete gambling that is based on luck. The longer you play, your chances gets lower. As I can see, there are some big rollers who bet more than 1 BTC, I guess you would have a good chance to win if you have a big bankroll and just play a limited time or else have a target and if you reach it, you will have to stop no matter what.
7573  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: February 05, 2017, 01:27:26 PM
Very interesting for me to read this thread. I bought some Bitcoin ling time ago when I found a nice service for it. It is my small investment. I have to say, that I earned some money with it, and I want to see what happens then
The longer you hold the better value you can get, the fact that you have experience to be profitable, you should be more aggressive. Don't just buy a little amount of bitcoin, take this time to be your opportunity of growing your profit more. As you can see, the price now have substantially increase, that would only mean, we can double the current price easily this year.

He has the kind of discipline that we all need, it should be our needs that must be prioritize and we should let our investment being sacrifice just to obey our wants. Being a father would really make your strive for your family, and that good thing with him is he makes his kid as his inspiration to work hard.

There is no limit in terms of earnings here actually, it would only depend on how hard working and smart you are to take opportunities.
7575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 05, 2017, 05:32:38 AM
Not Big but something to look at, Zach Lavine will miss the remainder of the season due to an ACL injury. I must say it will affect the Timberwolves' Bench in a bad way, Good thing Lavine did not join the Dunk Contest this year and will later on be force out of it. The question now what will be Lavine's performance after the treatment?
That's something we have to find out, that actually depend on how serious the injury is. If that is similar with Derrick Rose, I don't know, but one thing for sure, he will struggle at first due to the confidence lever being lowered. There's one big injury that I saw in the past and that is also by Paul George, and now he can still play for his team and his country, that really varies, and we cannot tell right now.
7576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 05, 2017, 04:05:59 AM
I never get rich from gambling, I also don't know whether gambling could create a rich and from what I saw most people who gamble always lose
Have you heard already of someone who won in the lottery? If so, that answers your question, that proves one can be rich in gambling, unless you don't consider lottery a gambling. The reality that most gamblers failed to accept it, there are only few winners in gambling as most of us will just lose in the long run.
7577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 05, 2017, 03:09:55 AM
Planning to bet on Golden State Warriors tomorrow against Sacramento Kings. I checked on the odds they are almost even but the previous games of GSW is very impressive with 3 points coming from Klay and Steph. Any thoughts on this if GSW can pull another win over Golden State Warriors?

Sacramento Kings is ranked at #11 with 19 wins and 31 loses while Golden State Warriors enjoys commanding lead at the #1 spot with 43 wins and 7 loses.

Sacramento Kings  is a garbage team now, they cannot even manage to beat a team at their level and lose at home, so how come they bet the hot warriors. They are on a back to back game and warriors had the rest, even without green, we saw how they route the Clippers at there home court and we know know Clippers are a better team than a one man scoring machine of Cousin. Don't hesitate, it's warriors all night, line had jump to -15, pull the trigger now before it's too late.
Why -15? When Golden state jumps far ahead of the team they just pull all starters in the 4th and let the bench warmers play then their lead drops from 30 to 10 points from all the tom foolery that ensues. Roll Eyes
It's like watch a cartoon or something that it just makes me laugh cause it's a joke watching them miss all those shots and three pointers.
I put them at -8.5 because of that. Grin
I missed on playing the Pacers and Orlando tonight but then again I always lose on my first picks anyways.
So hoping tonight's bets will be different.
Bench of Warriors are too much confidence and it can outscored a tired Sacramento Starters, I don't see any reason why this line has no value at all. Durant, Curry, and Thompson are gonna smash them in the first half, Kings has no good defense and offense, so it would be easy for the warriors to hit that spread. However, if you are in doubt, take the moneyline, it's a free money.
7578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 04, 2017, 02:07:01 PM
The cause of a gambling problem is the individual's failure to control the compulsive behavior. As a result, any type of gambling (racing, bingo, card games, dice games, lottery, slots and sports betting) can become problematic, as can an alcoholic can get drunk on any type of alcohol.
yes we are blaming gambling for being wrong but in fact gambling is not wrong but the way we play gambling is wrong. gambling is not to invest all your money in one time and lose it , you need to play it with strategy, if you have no strategy for gambling and you are playing it in a wrong way then in such situation gambling is not responsible but you are responsible because you are playing it in wrong way.
What make us think gambling is wrong is because we do not accept losses or defeat, if we win, we will think we are good enough and we can abuse gambling to make an easy money, but when we lose, we think we are being cheated and gambling is the worse thing that happens in our life.

That sounds unprofessional IMO, and because of that, we will never gonna grow as a gambler and we will end our enjoyment early as we hate gambling because of our wrong thinking.
7579  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 04, 2017, 06:35:28 AM
It sounded good when the gambler wins the game up to 300 BTC, I think it can encourage people curious and went to the gambling sites to test luck

It does really sounds good and this winning does really indicates bitdice provably fair system is great. This would really be a good head turner specially to those who love to play dice.If you want to be like him then try to play at bitdice and test how lucky you are maybe you will be the next player to have huge winnings but remember it would depends on your bet though.
He has the balls to be big amount of bitcoins, so I guess he deserve to win that big as well. What he did was really amazing, he risk big because he trust the site, in terms of sites features bitcoin is one of the best in the crypto world and as what we saw, there's high roller who are willing to risk his big money just to have fun, this should be known to the others to attract more gamblers here.
7580  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: February 04, 2017, 06:14:33 AM
The moment to buy is as good as any. You never know what will happen but there are indicators showing Bitcoin is going to be big. I'd say we're in the middle of a long journey that will lead to whole world using blockchain technology and it will drive bitcoin prices up the same way bitcoin drives the prices of altcoins up with it.
That is a good basis why we should buy bitcoins now, we have to be more futuristic and focus more on the potential rather than the risk. We are all risk takers here and we should be proud that we take part to this big thing in the future. Of course, we will not allow that when bitcoin will succeed, we will not get the benefit out of it. We should buy now, the price maybe high in the eyes of the maybe but if you are educated enough, you'll see it as an opportunity.
