Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones

In my personal observation,It's pretty hard practice to quit.As myself gambling addiction is one of the hardest problems to stop.But I was tried my best possible way to stop and recover from gambling unfortunately fully not.I thing it's now under my control of and only gambling on my best research basis.

It is really hard enough to stop gambling but in the OP it is stated that stop gambling and think for your love ones so if someone will have care of his family and if he will realize that in gambling he is wasting his family lives and money then he will stop gambling if he will love them. He will definitely try to make himself busy in other activities like he will continue his business or will search for job to start his life safely.

Actually, whether or not someone quit gambling it depends on the level of addiction. If someone is already very addicted in gambling although thinking of the loved ones I think will still be difficult because it must require the help of a psychologist or people around. But if someone who is not too addicted I think they could to quit the thinking for loved ones. But you're right if a person thinks for a loved one is being aware that he must be aware to make them happy so that it will be motivated to quit gambling.

I agree that if someone will have love to his/her family then they will not more gamble and they will care for their family and will prefer to the expenditures on their needs and bright future and if they will gamble then they will gamble only for fun with minute amount of money if they love gambling too and cannot remain without gambling.

Nobody said it's easy to quit, it's a very sad status in life once you will experience that. However, we do no want to be addicted forever as we know what it can do to our life, and it will do no good to us. We have to work hard to eliminate that negative system in our body, we must quit as our family needs us more than we need gambling.

Most users suggested that gambling is hard to quit. Addiction forever causes a great loss, at one point if we realize the consequences of gambling we'll sure try to quit gambling at least for a short term. Because one in ten will be successful on gambling.

in fact it is hard to quit gambling and specially for those people who are addicted and are not committed. who cannot stand still on their decision and those people who do not have support of their family and friends. i think quitting gambling will become easy if some one have good support of their family and friend to support them and give them good advises.

I agree that if someone will have losve to his her family then they will not more gambling and they will care for their family and only will gamble for fun with minute amount of money if they love gambling too.

Losing family or not, addicted gamblers will continue to gamble unless they face problem and ask for help. It is obvious they like to gamble if they gamble all the time. Also gambling for fun won't help them with problem because they will always ask for more and more money.

although is that easy to give it up, just like in smoke vices, I have cousin who is very addicted in cigarettes 2 packs
a day, even he knows its bad for the health but still continue doing it
, because of the nicotine applied. same thing with gambling. stay away from it,.

Yes I am agree with OP, if we can stop gambling maybe our life is better. We know that gambling is very addictive, with gambling we can forget anything and always will gambling. They always think that find money is easier with gambling.

It is bad if you are going to treat gambling as source of fast money and that's going to affect your relationship with your family. So if you are not going to be cautious on your addiction in gambling that can go far to its utmost effect which can result to destruction of your family. Most of the gamblers that can't overcome this problem are leading into that situation.

i think a lot of cases already accord here in my area. there are some who are addicted to gambling, most of the time they qurall with their family, as they want him to stop gambling while he playing gambling continuously. some time he even steal money from his house for gambling. He already sold and lost all the gold and gewlery of his wife. but still he is not going to stop gambling. i

That's a different case if you are an addicted gambler and you are experiencing to have a quarrel with your family then gambling is a curse to your family. And you need to quit it as fast as you can because if you are not going to do something and resolve it immediately, you will end up into broken relationship with them.

An addicted gambler will have a hard time quitting gambling because he already have an impulse-control disorder.  And this is also the possible reason why he is always in misunderstanding with his family.  So I guess the family should be the one to step up here.  Trying to convince him to see a specialist and be treated about his addiction.

Actually it isn't, if you want to quit on gambling then why it is very difficult to you to quit. If you want to there are many ways to stop, but in that kind of case, you are addict in gambling already then it is not easy for you to stop. Just like a smoker, if they quit fast there's a big possibility that there is an effect in quitting. All i want to suggest is to control your playing on gambling, if you play everyday, then reduce it in thrice a week, after once  a week then later on, you already quitting in gambling. No, if you can control yourself, you will not be addicted in the first place, that's the reality. The thing is, when we spend the money we cannot afford to lose, we are too weak and since we want to get back what we have lost, the tendency is, we will be doing it over and over again as I don't think once we get back what we lose, we will quit for good. There is no satisfaction from us, and that show our indiscipline in gambling.

I didn't knew that it was called that way. The only way to quit gambling for good is just let him quit it in anyway if he is really has the love for his family, he will just quit on his own. But it is also a good help for seeing an addict the support of his family upon quitting gambling and it will do nothing to his good life.

Gambling addiction doesnt give anything good to us but a total disaster on our lives on the long run. Quitting gambling for good isnt simple as it sounds because the first thing would be really done is that the gambler should really accept to themselves that they should quit gambling totally because help of family wont work if he doesnt help himself.

I think you do not need to quit gambling cold feet. You can just quit small by small. Just lower your wagering amount, there are places you can gamble smaller amounts and all, definitely quit real gambling and only focus on bitcoin gambling.

After a while you can come down to a level of gambling with only faucets which is not even your Money. Than it will be easier to quit gambling. You can’t go from wagering thousands of dollars a day to zero in one day. You can however go from couple cents to zero easily.

Gambling is basically inspired partly by personal preference and telling the person to just quit will make them want to do it more just so they could win a whole bunch of money and say "I told you so" see? If people actually noticed that they are receiving help from the people that love them then they will open their eyes and realize that it isn't only money that they are wasting...it is time. Spending time with family and love ones helps relationships grow stronger.

lol, that's not your conscience, because your conscience would tell you what is the right thing to do, unless gambling is really right for you. I guess it is the addiction already, we cannot quit because we do not want to let go, we feel we have to achieve something and we will either lose everything or get it.
