7561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: June 17, 2021, 10:36:21 PM
In my country it's also like this, people have started not using masks anymore because they have vaccinations...

but some cases still appear, many who have been vaccinated are even infected with covid 19. we have to stay alert and don't be careless, life is starting to get back to normal but this corona is still living side by side with us.
From which country you live? I'm starting to see hope that we're going to see people with no mask anytime soon as long as the vaccination keeps rolling out. As long as most of the people in a country will be vaccinated then the government shall allow of not wearing a mask as long as they've already got the two shots of the vaccine or the only one vaccine that requires one shot. The virus will remain to exist and we just have to wait until everybody got immune and it's going to be like the other diseases that we've got and will look at it as a normal virus. But it's always the hope that we're looking for that this will end soon and everyone can gamble and freely go to local casinos or everywhere as they wish.
7562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 17, 2021, 09:40:22 PM
That's because of the community and the way the project is promoting, I think right now meme coins fly faster because they are trending but soon when the trend ends many of them will die, this is like when the ICO and IEO trend
They don't anymore. They've fly faster than any other coins a few months ago because it is the trend but as you can see, the market is no longer the same and all of those meme coins got their fair share and started to drop in value and that's why many of those meme coins are no longer the eye-catcher of many investors and they've come to understand that there's more security if they're going to invest to bitcoin instead of those meme coins.
7563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla no longer accepts Bitcoin payments on: June 17, 2021, 03:21:11 PM
Elon still can't decide what to do. But it's time to make a final decision.
There's no need for him to make a final decision. He's in no rush and he's the one that gives the decision at any time without anything to hurry about. Elon is not just the boss of Tesla but also of this market and that's why many are angry about him. He's manipulating the market with his posts and suddenly making the market in a very situation that he's only taking advantage of it. Like before a correction happens, he understands it and that's why he's making tweets so that he can have a better position just like anybody else.

The sudden decrease of fees in the Ethereum network has been ignored but it's a fact that shouldn't be ignored. I only see Solana as another aspiring coin and didn't know that it also has its own chain and network that's competing with the best chains that we've got.
BSC gained traction and it became popular because of Ethereum's high fee and that's also the reason why some other promising chains got out. But what if most of the people and projects have already an idea that Eth's fee is back and now cheaper again. I think there will be many projects again that will consider Eth's smart contract.

Kai Sotto is again in the Philippines as part of the Gilas.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/fiba/kai-sotto-arrives-with-gilas-pilipinas-in-clark-a2437-20210613?ref=home_featured_big

We will see soon how he can apply his training in the US and will he be vital for the team's success.
Yes. Show what you've got Kai. I saw his name in the list and they've just won against South Korea and made an amazing performance a while ago. That was an incredible buzzer beater!  Cool

These young guns really played so amazingly, we did not need the PBA players to play to beat a good team.

It was South Korea who had a good lead at the start but the Philippines came back in the 2nd half and win the game.
That last shot was great, if it didn't fall, the Philippines might lose in the OT, but still, I'm proud of them as they didn't give up, instead they come back to win.
Actually, I was thinking that it's better if they've got some PBA veterans on their boat to lead them inside the court. But I think outside coaching is way better than playing with them. These young guys really can play well and can compete and I hope that for the next games that they've got, they're going to be consistent and will have those wins. I'm also proud and got hyped when I've watched that last shot, that was really a truly amazing shot and can be said as a miracle shot in a very crucial match.
7566  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: June 17, 2021, 08:54:40 AM
Yes as far as I know sumusunod lang din sila sa mga ineemplement nila like re-KYC. Pero meron din ibang pwede magtrigger ng re-KYC like having big transactions and exhausting your daily/monthly limits in a short period of time. Yan ang napansin ko sa mga nag tatanong ng re-KYC and sometimes nag rerequest pa ng video call and interview ang coins.ph sa ganoong situation.

Pero as of now wala naman akong nababalitaan na changes sa coinsph and hindi pa ako nakakarecieve ng re-kyc this year.
7567  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 17, 2021, 07:47:03 AM
Okay din mag try sa p2p over Facebook or other platform.
7568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla no longer accepts Bitcoin payments on: June 16, 2021, 11:31:01 PM
Hello sometime he will tweet again Tesla accepts Bitcoin payments.
He already tweets that Tesla might accept bitcoin again but with a condition that if energy being used by the miners is 50% cleaner. Are we going to see big mining farms going to obey what he said just for the sake of Tesla accepting bitcoin payments? we'll see.

Many guys are following his tweet as nonsense . I think he is the one of responsible person this bearish market. I think he must go alone without crypto.
He's blamed by most of us but accept it too that this is an unregulated market and news and speculations are making the markets based on those sentiments.
7569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 16, 2021, 10:50:28 PM
I really like this sport, besides football, rock climbing is one of the hobbies I do on holidays with my friends, I think rock climbing is a sport that is far from cheating in its competition compared to other sports that really often involved in the form of cheating,
I cannot think of a cheat how rock climbers will do just for them to get the upper hand. But even with that said of being far cheated, there could be really people that will try to think of tricks as they're into it just like any other sports that we have and saw the tricks that's being done by people associated with it.

I also searched on several gambling sites but did not find any sites that made this sport a form of online gambling and it seems that rock climbing is not a sport that can be used as a bet because it has few criteria in judgment to determine winner.
It is not a common sport so there's really no casino that would take part on it if there's not yet demand from their players. If they'll add it, they should have a survey and poll to ask their players if they would love to bet on it and they should have a good provider for that sport.
7570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Michael saylor and his bags on: June 16, 2021, 09:55:04 PM
There's no way to know it. He's like buying every single dip and every single week, day, or at any time. He's been known doing that even before this pandemic and the bull run has started. I know what you're thinking so that you can also enter as he enters. But it's not always a good time that he enters because I remember that there was some news that his company bought but it was I think above $40k so that particular batch of his purchase is at loss. Thus, he's buying for the long term so he's also like buying at any price that he has to.
7571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 16, 2021, 05:57:52 PM
I'm just curious why the PBA has said if the player wants out of the league, is it that the team and players side to settle? it's like the PBA holds the player's neck in every situation, all the trades and players being swap to other superpower teams like making the league unbalance and no competition, i think the rules need to change because at the end of the day this should be between the team and the owners the should be talking and not the league?
It's actually not the team that has a bind on the player but it's the PBA management that doesn't want to let go a player. They just want to let know that they should honor the contract that they have with the team and the player. But if they have seen that the team has allowed a player to get out, they should also allow them to get out if they have some opportunity that's knocking but no. They're the one who's stopping the player to get out of the league and it's like a closed place that no one shall get out.
The PBA cannot force him to play even if they have a contract, there must be a condition in the contract stating that "if a player will not finish the contract" he will have to pay something, that's why it was reported that the team abroad that is interested to sign him would like to buy out the contract, but the PBA still doesn't want to talk.
With the code of contract and law in our country, for sure that's a common condition when someone is signing up a contract. It's a common rule that whenever someone breaks a rule with their contract and tries to terminate it, they should pay a fine and that's probably higher than the total amount that the contract will give to the signee. I thought that there's no buying for his contract for that team and they've assumed that he's free to get out of the team but still, no more issues with him AFAIK, he's going to stay.

7572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: June 16, 2021, 03:53:14 PM
Likewise, I feel that gambling is just for fun. It should never be considered a serious source of income.
Do not let gambling become a habit, since it can rob you of all your assets.
Gambling won't automatically go to rob your assets. You should gamble moderately and it won't just rob you without you doing anything. You have to do something as we're all voluntarily going to gamble and it's a decision coming from us. And we have to understand that there really are folks that use gambling as their source of income, which may not be the major source but there are those that are making it a profession.
We cannot question them if they're making a living out of it because they can be said as professional gamblers and for us if we understand that we cannot be like them, should follow what you've said.

Not sure.
7575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 15, 2021, 11:39:05 PM
If it will end up a draw, we can expect a rematch then they can still continue to make money. We like to see an entertaining fight, and honestly, I don't really see a draw result if it will go to the distance, it will be in Manny's favor as he throws more punches as more mobile than Spence Jr.
That will be a different ending which I'm thinking. If a rematch would come next whether a draw or a winner through UD or TKO, that will take time. Pacman's usual rematch has been taking time and it won't come by a quick glance. If Pacman still wants to fight, I think this will be after the presidential election and he's still wanting to make some money from it. But just the usual rematches, it might take years before it happens again but for me, I'm not thinking about any rematch for these two. I hope that he just settles and retires with his record of owning a lot of titles and that's already good for him to enjoy his wealth through things that he wants but with his ambition, he's going to continue with his political career.
I'm not sure if there is a rematch clause, or something to see another fight in an event of a draw.

Nevertheless, I don't see it happening, Spence wanted to prove himself and so is Manny. So they are going at it in this fight and see who has more heart and balls to win this fight. If Spence win then he can go and chance Crawford, if Pacquiao loses then he can still chance the Presidency in his native country.
That's what I'm also seeing. But before we end up with that conclusion of having a rematch, let's just focus on the upcoming match and it's good that somebody has taken the offer or both of them cater to have a match which wasn't really expected by most fans before because there's someone who's thought of more of the opponent of Pacman and not Spence. Whoever wins this match, I'm sure that we're going to have fun and as we approach, the odds will be shown and it's better to look close to the days of the match. But there's still a lot of news for this match, 2 months is still a long way to go.

7577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 15, 2021, 09:38:34 PM
I think it depends on each person, if they are really addicted to gambling, whatever the bitcoin price is... they must have prepared themselves beforehand. But it's good for us to be smarter in responding to this, gambling is like entertainment and we really have to know when it's time to gamble.
It's time to gamble when you've got cash or bitcoin on hand and you really are putting that budget into gambling. That's the reason why you're going to gamble because you have already made budget plans for it. No matter how much you're going to gamble as long as you're aware of it and you're not going to mind how much the price is then you're good to go. Depending on each person means that they really have planned it and know what can be the ins and outs and the positive or negative result of it.
7578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: June 15, 2021, 08:37:13 PM
My worst mistake was not selling tokens when they were at ATH just because I have enough money for my expenses and I was like, why do I need to exchange the coins into BTC of i don t need money.
I felt you. I've done that before and thought that the ATH of those tokens that I've held will last long but they didn't. That's why I'm always checking out the prices of those tokens that I've missed selling if they're back to a good price but to no avail. It's hard to see them go back again at those prices and I just have to give up checking on them and start focusing on checking the price of bitcoin it's better to have my focus on it rather than those missed ATHs for the altcoins that I've been holding. Lessons were finally learned and that's life. When we see the coins that we hold are in profit, don't hesitate to sell them.
7579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 15, 2021, 07:38:41 PM
Not a bad thing for gamblers. I saw many times that even lottery winners have to pay taxes if their winnings aren't tax-free. But if it's tax-free then that's a better amount for them to get on. And taxation is helpful to a country as long as it's coming from a legitimate business, it shall help and contribute to its economy. Look at those countries or cities that have the main source coming from gambling. That's how taxes are making their cities or countries keep going because of their industry.
7580  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 40k$ btc price bull market na ba ulit? on: June 15, 2021, 10:37:18 AM
