761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 18, 2017, 07:01:50 PM
Has anyone tried their new PoW mining? I tried it and when I check my progress I don't see any info for my account even if I already mined more than an hour.
Wait, what?  Since when is there PoW mining?  Can someone give me some more info on it. Apparently I'm blind and can't find it.
There is no mining in XRB. One service offers you to mine Monero in browser & pays you with XRB.

Really? There's a service like that? Dude I'm so behind with this project, is that from the the same devs that were responsible for the faucet before? Cause I remember that someone posted on here that they will not continue with the XCM project anymore instead they will just distribute xrb form their own pockets through a faucet so is that from them? Is that the faucet that they were talking about? So instead of distributing xrb though a faucet they decided to make it a PoW mining? I'm really curious about this, is that safe though? Wouldn't that harm your computer/laptop?
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 📱 AppCoins - The New Blockchain-Based Protocol For The App Stores 🔋 on: November 18, 2017, 06:44:20 PM
What are the ways to earn appcoin apart from creating apps?

You get appcoins for creating apps? Awesome, I didn't read that part in the whitepaper but I've read that you can also get appcoins by purchasing them directly using fiat currency or using your credit card or you can also earn them through watching adds and downloading apps. As far as I know those are the only ways to get appcoins maybe there are still more that I don't know of.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 18, 2017, 06:40:55 PM
How are you going to store all the data on a blockchain? Such a technologies are not available yet. How will it be possible to download 100 terabyte node?

The technology is available. It's called IPFS. (interplanetary file system). And you don't store all data on the blockchain, you just put the transactions there.

Storing all the data would be meaningless i guess.

Yeah I think it won't be necessary, it won't be beneficial to anyone, it will just be a waste of space. I think what's really important to store are the transactions and the information about the vehicles and their owners. Speaking of owners though, what information from the owners will be stored in the blockchain? And will the owners need to present any documentations to prove that they're really the owners of the cars? And how can users register on the blockchain do you require any proof of identification?
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Signature Campaign Open | Mobile Social Application | No ICO on: November 18, 2017, 06:25:41 PM
Any explanation to this http://howlcoin.com and this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2338406.0 ?
Or am I missing something already?
probably, you are missing something, howlcoin token as it is called is a different token (project) entirely, it doesn't relate to us here, neither does it relate to the previous devs, for sure the person must have coincidentally used the name "howl" or probably the person saw how hyped howltoken was at the very start and decided to duplicate it in order to get some attention, ive come across that project about a month or so ago

Hey, yes, someone linked me to this thread. You are correct that "Howl" was just a coincidence, we registered the name HowlCoin.com about a month before this thread was launched. This token looks great, wish you guys the best with it.

Great this is good to know! Thank you so much for clearing this up, now we can finally be at ease that these two projects are not related to each other. I really appreciate you for coming on here and saying this. I'm also apart of your project and I know that you're project will do well. It has such a big potential and a bright future ahead. Thank you again, keep up the good work on your project because right now everything seems to be running so smoothly.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 trade.io 🔷[ANN] [PRE-ICO] 🔷Trade Token 🔷 JOIN THE TRADING REVOLUTION on: November 18, 2017, 05:53:16 PM
Isn't the price of 1 token way beyond what other ico's have? 1 eth is about 350 dollars, you get 200 tokens for that. So that means 1 token is about 1.65 dollars?
Someone can explain this? Other ico's have around 0.05 cent per token with such a supply (500mil)

Well other icos don't have this big of a potential, with what this project is offering the price is quite low to be honest, this project isn't your average trading exchange project, it offers a lot more, it's your all in one trading platform here you can trade crypto, forex etc. and it also has it's own liquidity pool which is very unique and very helpful towards the masses. If the devs will lower the price of their tokens, then that will just lower the value of this project and that won't be too attractive towards investors, usually low price means low quality so its price is just perfect for its worth.

Guys, BTC fee is $2.70 for one transaction right now. I cannot pay anyone new, whoever already tweeted before this will get paid.

Quoting this tweet again because some people are too lazy to scroll up and read the OP's post. Please to anyone who's reading this thread at the moment, stop retweeting, the OP is not paying people anymore, so please stop wasting your time to retweet this tweet. THE OP IS NOT PAYING PEOPLE ANYMORE. I hope that's clear enough.

No worries, I ask the devs of the other howlcoin and according to him these two are completely different projects and are not related to each other. If you've also read the white paper of the other howlcoin then it has a completely different goal and vision than this one, that token is more focus on becoming a community token while this one has an actual product. Honestly before I thought that the previous dev decided to abandon this token to make another project and that's the HowlCoin but that's just me and my weird thoughts lol.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 trade.io 🔷[ANN] [PRE-ICO] 🔷Trade Token 🔷 JOIN THE TRADING REVOLUTION on: November 17, 2017, 07:28:11 PM

Help me to understand here something. This is your Ether account: 0x58f75dDACFFB183a30F69fE58a67a0d0985fce0F. There I see 8.600 ETH total, collected for over a month time. Only few contributions with more than 25 ETH (required minimum for Liquidity pool). Absolute majority of contributions - 0.1 to 5 ETH. In your annuncement above you state that response to your liquidity pool is overwhelming. I do not see it from your Ether account, so can you explain what I'm missing? Now you're lowering the limit for participation in the liquidity pool to 500 Trade Tokens from previous 5000.  Why then you're lowering the minimum pool limit when things are so great?

Very logical questions!

1) As for the Ether Wallet, trade.io accepts not only ETHER but especially for the PRE-ICO it also accepts Fiat payments with bank wire transfer! Thus a large amount of funds came from deposits.

2) The response to our liquidity pool has been overwhelming. However, the feedback by some in our community is how they can participate if they don’t have the minimum 5,000 TradeTokens. Well, management has taken this feedback into consideration, and is happy to announce a revised liquidity pool schedule that allows those with as few as 500 TradeTokens the ability to participate using a graduated schedule.

So basically to my understanding is that many people wanted to participate in the trade.io project but wanted to do so if there was a chance to participate in the Liquidity Pool. Because there's many people that wanted this, management found a fair way to make this happen.

The table found above, illustrates how a participant with 5000 Trade Tokens, gets 110% participation, so that people who already have participated with trade.io get an added benefit.

At the end of the day, the bigger the pool, the better for me and you and everyone. Is a win-win situation here.

Full article from Management Blog:
https://medium.com/@trade.io/new-participation-schedule-participate-in-the-liquidity-pool-from-500-trade-tokens-98bc06b269d9

That's great I'm glad you finally adjusted the minimum trade tokens, I was about to bring it up because I think in order for this project to reach its full potential it needs more diversity, limiting the minimum trading tokens to 5000 means that the only people who can participate are those who can afford that amount of tokens, and knowing that this project is just starting we don't want that, we don't want to limit the market to a specific group of people, we need to spread this project to reach a bigger market. This new change is really beneficial for this project, now those people who don't have that much tokens can participate and those who have 5000+ tokens have their incentives so it's indeed a win-win situation.

I would like to ask where is 10.000 ETH that you have been talking about before. I looked through your smart contracts and wallets and haven't seen it.

Alexander Kucherov confirmed on Telegram that they already got 12 000 ETH from the institutional investors. I don't know the exact address either where they got that money. Maybe it was an investment with fiat money?

Was the 12,000 eth raised from the previous pre-ico that they had done privately? Because if I'm not mistaken during the pre-ico they have raised a total of 5 million euro, is 12,000 eth equivalent to 5 million euro, can somebody do the math for me? Cause I'm really bad at it. Or maybe the 12,000 eth raised came from a different source? I'm really confuse on this cause it was stated on their medium that during their pre-ico they have been supported by big companies, they even named the companies on their roadmap. So I'm just curious to know if the 12,000 eth raised came from those companies or it came from a different source?

I've been really supportive of application that supports other applications. However it doesn't take out the point that being an independent company, how would you be able to connect your "application" to other applications let's say STEAM CARDS for Steam?

I don't really understand how this question is related to this project, Steam is a whole lot different platform than this one. This one is about mobile applications and games, it is solely focus on the smartphone, so I don't think they can incorporate steam cards for steam because that's completely exclusive for Steam. What this project offers is that it gives advertisers the ability to reward users for downloading and viewing their apps, with appcoins users can use these incentives as coins to purchase items inside games and other applications. I know that they are just an independent company but with aptoide backing this project up then you can really trust them to deliver a quality product.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SISA.fund: A Decentralized and Democratic Pool Fund on: November 17, 2017, 05:30:46 PM
As writen in the white paper on page 10 the costs of the ico are:

presale 1ETH = 2677,50 tokens
Day1 1ETH = 2231,25 tokens
Day 2 - 7 1ETH = 2052,75 tokens
Week 2 1ETH = 1963,5 tokens
Week 3 1ETH = 1874,25 tokens
Week 4 1ETH = 1785 tokens

at the current price on hitbtc you get 2677,5 SISA for only 0,898 ETH.

what a nice price data
most of ethereum token are tradeable in etheredelta, is this token too ?

I don't think so, the devs never mention adding this token on etherdelta and I haven't seen this token on there too, as far as I know, the only exchange that SISA is being traded right now is hitbtc and I think that's way better than etherdelta. Etherdelta are just for tokens that doesn't have a solid development team behind them while hitbtc is an exchange for tokens that have a huge potential to moon and be really successful someday.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SISA.fund: A Decentralized and Democratic Pool Fund on: November 16, 2017, 10:06:35 PM
We are in touch with various exchanges to get SISA token Traded... Soon we will be able to give some updates

We are happy to share that soon we will be getting Web Wallet

We will be putting forth our ideas in a week and hence after deliberations SISA will make its First Investment

We are glad to see huge volume (Approx 35 BTC) got traded @ Hitbtc on day 1 only ....

That's good to know, I'm looking forward to see what exchanges SISA will be added next. A web wallet? Finally that's a huge step for this project, that can really help this project reach a wider audience, so when will the web wallet be released? Is it currently in development? And will it be available in both ios and android? Or will it be available on android first?. Yeah I've seen the volume this coin is being traded on hitbtc, and all I can say is congrats team!! We really started the trade strong, good volume and good starting price, this is just the beginning though once the web wallet will be released then I'm seeing the price go from 1k+ to 2k+, I got my finger crossed on this.

Are you guys looking for more advisors to bring on?

I'm wondering how that question came about? Do you think they need advisors?

Every great and successful project needs advisers, they need people who are experience in a particular field to help them with the development of the project, in my point of view the more advisers the better so it's not a bad thing if they add more advisers cause advisers can really help strengthen and bring a project to the top but with what I'm seeing here so far, I think this project already have a good team of advisers supporting them. I don't really think they need more but if they add more people then that will be great but if they don't then it's okay cause so far this project is doing well.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 16, 2017, 09:05:17 PM
when I saw the title, i was hoping for a "self driving - Uber - pay with crypto" type blockchain.

As I understand its mostly for decentralized repairing cars? why is that needed decentralized?

It's about blockchain and its immutable feature (you can't modify an input once it's processed into the blockchain). Imagine if you buy a second handed car, car sellers simply can't cheat on its history

well, i think if they repair the parts on their own, it wont be seen on the blockchain since there would be no transaction for repairing, thus the car seller can sell you shit, even if the car has a white vest on the blockchain /hmmmmm

Yeah you have a good point here, that will really affect the transparency feature of this project but I think before a person can sell his/her own car, there will still be a verification process of the car's documents. I think the car will be check thoroughly by a repair shop or car companies before it can be considered to have a "white vest on the block chain". I think with this project, you can't have a direct seller to buyer transaction, it needs to go through the blockchain with companies and repair shops before it can reach the buyer.

I just stumbled upon this project while I was browsing around medium, I've seen your partnership with Indorse and I got really interested. I've read your whitepaper and wow I'm impressed, it's the first that I've encounter a project that offers a proof of attention, this is a huge plus, this can benefit not just the advertisers but the users as well, users can gain incentives while advertisers can reach a bigger market. You've also stated that you're going to incorporate this project to some applications, seeing that you're in partnership with aptoid, I don't find that quite impossible. Overall I see such a big potential with this project, if everything on the roadmap will be carry out properly then this project is going to the moon.

You partnered with Uber, Volkswagen, Qiwi... ? can you give some evidence about this?  Huh
Qiwi Blockchain Technologies is one of the our partners, which help us in creating of our blockchain.
We are partnering with UBER and provide the special terms for car repair and maintenance on CarFix Platform. CarFix has API integration with UBER drivers' interface.
Special privileges in dealing of CarFix with carowners and dealers of VW.
Launch the Partnership in experimental mode with 7 VW dealerships and expand to all in Moscow within 2 months, and all in Central Russia within 6 months.

Dude seriously can this project get any better? VW?? Are you being serious here? You're in partnership with VW? Wow if that partnership goes well then no doubt this project will be the next big thing, this is probably one of the highest potential project that I have ever seen here in this forum, I'm so glad I'm a part of this project. After expanding to Moscow, what other parts of the United States are you planning to expand your project to? And what other companies are you going to partner with in the future?
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SISA.fund: A Decentralized and Democratic Pool Fund on: November 15, 2017, 08:01:26 PM
add SISA to Liqui. this will be a big plus for SISA!  Wink

That's a really good idea, I love liqui,it's a very user friendly site and the volume there is quite good as well. I think it will be best for this project if after completing the ico, the devs can focus on adding this coin to more exchanges like liqui and cryptopia, it's easier and faster to get added there compare to other exchanges, in that way this project can spread and reach a variety of people. That will really help grow not just the price but the community as well.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Signature Campaign Open | Mobile Social Application | No ICO on: November 15, 2017, 04:07:50 PM
Did dev just pass the Project who asked first?

Something really fishy in here. Still, my tokens don't worth much now, i hope everything will be ok.
nothing is fishy if I must say, kawicrypto has been working with dev silently in the background though most of us here dont know,, so if there's anyone who deserves to take over the project, it's kawicrypto, he's the one dev can trust, he's one I too personally trust.

Wait a sec... Is this true? How did you knew this? Ok now i can say that its really strange that someone supposedly has been working secretly with dev all this time without showing any work or giving any help to the community... Is this really true? If so im done and dumping all i got dont really like to be involved with dodgy situations and potencial scams...

I thought Kawi was a user just like me... If its true and he was working with the devs secretly before, and only Fivestar4everMVP seemed to know about it, to me it gets clear that this was planned by these individuals that pretend to be users and were involved from begining...

Has far has im aware nobody produced any real work for this project besides me with ANN translation, tried to contact devs in order to fix the missing graphics and got no response at all...

All i can say is there is something fishy involving these users for sure if they were involved with the dev in the past.

Edit I just had a talk with the current dev and he explained himself ( what he could )... I will keep an eye to see what the new dev is really capable and will give my support for now. Best of luck

What exactly did the new dev explained to you? Did he explained if he had been working with the previous dev secretly? Or did he comment anything on that allegation? Cause if you ask me I also do agree with what you're saying here, I find it really fishy how this user suddenly ask to take over and after just a couple of hours he already has a team and a plan on where this project will be going and how to rebrand this project. I've just look at his previous posts and I find it really fishy that ever since he joined this forum all his posts are on this thread, it seems like he is just here to bump this thread. I don't know but I can really feel something seems wrong here.

What Kawi explained to me was that he was supposed to help the devs ( just like me ) before he went inactive. He shares the same concerns and disapointments towards the last dev behaviour and asks for an opportunity to prove himself. With this said i will give him a chance to do that, after all thats why im involved with crypto ( to help support other projects flourish )

Oh okay it seems like the new dev is really trying to help, I apologize for my previous statements I was just being cautious. I really do appreciate everything that the new dev have done so far, I know it's not easy taking over a project that's been quite dead for more than a month now and it's also not easy taking over a project that didn't have any pre ico but still the new dev is trying his best to rebrand this project and keep this project alive so I give him so much credit for that. Right now I will also give my support to the new dev, I'm just right here to give assistance whenever he needs me to. So far after he took over, I noticed that this thread is getting way more views than before, this is a good sign, this means that the hype is back again and the community is alive again.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 15, 2017, 03:46:34 PM
I really think that this thread should be locked and abandoned.
It is completely useless now, I cant find any valuable piece of info here.
New board is needed! First post should contain the most basic information, it should be moderated by an active dev. member (Byte16?). It is new project after all, right?
Now its all very spamy and unorganized, placing new blocks under "not so bright" light.
Not a radical step but IMO, necessary.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on this, I think this thread is doing pretty well, have you seen this thread before?? It's full of spam posts about the faucet, 3-4 pages are filled with rants about the faucets, but now this thread is filled with posts about the development of the project and conversations on how to improve this project. Have you backread though? If you did, then you'll find the recent newsletter and that contains a lot of valuable information about the project. By the way this isn't a new project at all, it's been around since February, the only thing that's new here is the roadmap and that's about it so I don't think it's necessary to create a new thread.
