761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: July 11, 2017, 02:30:58 AM
People prefer bitcoins over fiat because it is now becoming easy to use and its worth is increasing day by day. Bitcoin is a digital currency like other currencies, if people can spend their dollars in gambling, porn sites and drugs dealing then why they can't use their bitcoins after all it is also a currency.
Because users choose bitcoin as an investment instead of as their currency. Of course they would prefer fiat as their currency because it is easier to use and accept wherever, bitcoin is preferred because the profitable bitcoin investment and fiat can not do that

Personally, i would prefer fiat than bitcoin of course fiat is widely use by all levels of society that unlike bitcoin only the middle to high class people knows and can use bitcoin. No transaction fee and no long waiting of confirmation. Less hassle and more convenient. Let's admit there's pros and cons in everything
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending bitcoin without the miner fees ! on: July 11, 2017, 02:17:53 AM
So i was thinking if i send a bitcoin transaction without the miner fee or a very low fee what will happen ? would i get the coins back eventually ? or they will just stuck there forever ! and if that happened how to do that double spend ?

Can not, this can not happen, miner fee is a condition needed to make a bitcoin transaction. It's the original platform in blockchain technology, you can not change it.

Yeah I think as this fee is mandatory to all of us just to send bitcoin safely without double spending. Better pay high than your transaction got stuck you're like waiting for how many days if it will send or return it to you. Somehow risky if you trust your coin to some third parties.
763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 11, 2017, 01:52:24 AM

764  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 11, 2017, 01:37:15 AM
Maybe if the bride or groom are also bitcoin enthusiasts. Yeah it can be but if they're not I think its not a good gift. They will just stare you with blank face. Better to give them some fiat that they can use to buy their needs or wants. That would be practical.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 09, 2017, 11:22:39 AM
bitcoin trading is one of the best platforms for me, from here anyone can make more money without hassle. but proper knowledge is the major criteria to do well in this section. you have to know its operational activities and how to control and how to manage. if you follow the proper method then it will be helpful for you making money more and more...

Yes trading is just one example on how to make more money. You can also make more money through online and offline business and services. You just need proper knowledge depending on what ventures you're eyeing. Study first and make some analysis about this. Better to be equip with these than wasting all your efforts.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: July 09, 2017, 10:33:40 AM
Future porpuse and why not sometimes for fun, a travel to the beach a time with some friends in the grill, but mostly to pay the rent and the car Smiley

Yeah maybe it's not a bad thing to sometimes have some fun and spoil yourself after all you need some reward for your hardwork. Saving also for the future and security for myself and for my family is a thing for me. We all know bitcoin has a lot of potential to be going to higher rate so save and save more!
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: July 09, 2017, 10:14:05 AM
Bitcoin has a good future ahead of itself and can soon reach mainstream with the media now paying attention into it and many countries already recognizing Bitcoin as a form of money or as an asset. It will soon have an astronomical value because the supply is limited unlike fiat money which can easily be printed by the government.
i also think that bitcoin has a very bright future, although it is not possible to give a 100% correct prediction about the future of bitcoin. but from the current situation of bitcoin as more and more people are adopting bitcoin therefore bitcoin will remain as number one currency and will have a bright future.

Indeed. We can't predict the future but how bitcoin now is behaving we can say it will have a positive output in all aspects of it. Adaptation of more countries as it will become more popular and many will use this as an additional currency.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 09, 2017, 09:49:59 AM
I went through the page to invest and seems that DIMCOIN Pre-Ico value is estimated in fiat so when investing through bitcoin it calculates the exchange rate btc/usd so at the moment -$100 in the past 24hours so I think a better idea for me is waiting for the bitcoin price to keep increasing a bit and then invest and since we have time until 15th July I may invest at the end of this period.

I keep thinking the same way. So i will wait for the ETH price to rise considerably before investing. I believe that this ICO is a good one.
Still enough time to think about investing with dimcoin. But by looking at all aspects I am very interested and recommend to invest in this big project.

Better invest now sir, this will be a great project to invest in that you wont regret. Hope more tokens will be sold for the rest of the campaign.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 08, 2017, 02:59:36 AM
Being a long term bitcoin holder i am little scared.some people are even saying bitcoin might fall to zero after August 1st.is that even a possibility?should i sell my bitcoins to cashout profits and wait it out? or should i keep holding? i want to hold bitcoin for another 4-5 years.so if the bitcoin prize falls after August 1st which is a very high chance then will it ever recover? what's the safe thing to do?

You said you're a long term holder but it seems you're also a panic seller whose easy to believe into some fud or trollers. Better hold your bitcoin or split them into different offline wallets to prevent of losing some funds. We dont know if this is true but prevention is always better than cure. As August 1 is approaching many are anticipating the success of activation of segwit. Let us all be positive to this.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: July 08, 2017, 02:42:24 AM
On March 8th, Cheollima Civil Defense(CCD) released a video on its website claiming:” Han Sol, the son of Kim Jong Nam, and two other family members were met quickly and relocated to safety. “ And they receive bitcoin for financial support. http://news.8btc.com/bitcoin-plays-a-role-in-humanitarian-assistance This is something nice to do. But what if bitcoin be used to support some bad organizations, even terrorists? Is this already happening?  What i am worrying is if bitcoin be widely used for bad things, negative news would be all over and bitcoin price will drop. It will lead to tougher regulation. Do u think world leaders are willing to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrirists?
In my opinion, yes Bitcoin can be used to support terrorists and maybe, while we are talking about this, some transactions were made for this kind of funding. This result of Bitcoin can not be denied.

Bitcoin will be " bad " if it's use to something illegal like terrorism. Bitcoin itself has nothing to do with this activity. This will all depend on how the person use this, will it be use in good or bad it doesn't matter because bitcoin is pseudonym and no one can control this.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2017, 02:26:20 AM
I don't find anything that prevent major mainstream adoption which is happening day by day, the biggest original difficulty is the price of bitcoin but it doesn't matter since it can be broken to as many small pieces as necessary.
Even the confirmations isn't an issue IMO, Few minutes are within acceptable waiting time.
A few minutes is a lot if you are buying something in a vending machine, or when you are buying groceries at the store, bitcoin right now works very well for payments over the Internet where you have a few hours to get a confirmation, but it is not ready for the real world.

Yeah also when you happen to go to some fast food chain and you ordered a meal and it just took so long before you can eat just because of long waiting of transaction. Like wth! Better to use cash instead of bitcoin. Maybe this is one of the hindrances that prevent bitcoin to widely be accepted.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: July 07, 2017, 04:11:10 AM
I first learned about bitcoin 2 years ago when I was looking for money on the Internet. At first I thought it was some sort of pyramid that could disintegrate, but then I decided to try it.

Yeah like what we all see in the internet makes us think that it's a scam. But bitcoin is different from the others, this is legit! Grin
Well like you I first thought that this is another scam but things turn out differently, as time passes by I get to know more about bitcoin and that's all it started.
773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 03:53:00 AM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
I think the best time to buy the Bitcoin is earlier of the 1 August because after the launch of segwit2x ( time of process of 10 day approx ) the price will jump sharply and speedly , so more better is to buy before the segwit launch .
Here many new bitcoiners are feeling fear to loss Thier Bitcoin during the launching of segwit2x ,but actually they are not understanding the real fact .
Well here I will recommend you to buy the Bitcoin before 1 August because price will remain normal and down and network will remain stop for 10 days ( may be less ) .
So without fear buy your Bitcoin and make earning in bulk and also here I will recommend you to buy some another altcoins .

Yes I also read some speculations like this. So better to buy now or you regret when August 1 happens. Don't hope that bitcoin will have a major downfall again. Being wise is fine but not too greedy that in the end of the day you lose all your hopes to buy dump coins. Buy now and you still have some decent income though.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is working fine! No change needed! on: July 07, 2017, 03:27:20 AM
Bitcoin has proven, that it is works fine, even through times of different attack modes (FUD, spam, patenting, +, XT, RV, CW etc). I don't think we have a pressure to raise the blocksize or to force the mass adaption. We don't need no SegWit to make Bitcoin great again, because it is already. Give this baby time to grow, folks.

I think it needs an upgrade. As the increase of users of bitcoin there's also an increase in the transaction thats why the block chain is now congested. With the upcoming upgrade of segwit2x that there will be an increase in the size of the block chain just to resolve the current issues that bitcoin is facing. Hope that correction will be successful as the bitcoin community will be fine. And yeah bitcoin is undoubtedly great and awesome but it needs some upgrade.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to feel dumb and smart at the same time. on: July 07, 2017, 02:47:15 AM
I feel dump for not taking an action. I wasted my time hanging out with friends, playing computer games back in 2009. If I had done my research and found my way into bitcoin, I might have made a good fortune by now. But I do feel Smarter than my friends who are still not interested in crypto currency and view it has a joke. I pray they would truly understand the power of crypto currencies in future.
I think if you stick into your past and be regretful for the rest of your life it will not be fair. There is a huge number of Bitcoin users who have done all these things in the past but now they have concentrated on the future task.

I think it is better to move forward and take some good steps. We are still lucky that we are earning right now with bitcoin, there are people who besides knowing bitcoin are wasting their time. This is how what makes us smarter.

Yes better leave the past behind and look the present and the future to start again and do what you just missed in the past. Besides we can't bring back the past, we were just be sorrowful if we think that. Now be smart and use your resources and capabilities to do more interesting things. Don't repeat what you're mistakes instead take this as a new learning.
776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: July 06, 2017, 10:04:09 AM
Even some months ago bitcoin'a price was 600$ but it started to rise and everyone sees how it become 1300$, than 1-2 month ago we had a little fall and lowest price was 890$ but than it returned to it's 1200-1300 and continued to rise and rise and we see what we get in result, bitcoin's price is 2750$ currently. This is very high rise and what do you think guys, will we see fall from 2700 to 1000 or even to 600$ ? Can we to forget worries of price fall?

Well if that will be the case that will be a major downfall, from $2700 down to $600? That's a big dump for us. Many will take the chance to buy low and sell high to get a good profit. But I don't think so it will gonna happen, that era just end and we're now in $2700 if it will dump it will just in the range of $2000 and that's all. Bitcoin will be rocket high over time.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 06, 2017, 09:44:12 AM
I don't think volatility of bitcoin can be controlled just by the increase of users as well as the price. Bitcoin is decentralized meaning no one has control in every aspect of this. And I think nobody wants a stabilized price for bitcoin?like it will just be flat rate all through out the existence of bitcoin. Nah I don't even imagine that, just accept the fact that volatility is part of bitcoin.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: July 06, 2017, 08:48:22 AM
...

If you are traveling and lose your credit card, but in a country that has a reasonably active Bitcoin scene, you can sell some BTC to pay bills while "over there".

This may become an issue for us.

Here is a case for having an online wallet, "travels anywhere".

Yeah Bitcoin is great when it comes to situation like that. Of course the country would have to have Bitcoin legal before you can do such things, but Bitcoin is still a lifesaver here.

Does it really need for bitcoin to get legalize before you use it? In my country, bitcoin is not really leagalize thouhg there is no law that opposes it but we could still use it anywhere. We can convert it to fiat from our hardware wallet. But what's not good is it takes an hour before you get to cash out your bitcoin. It can help as long as you dont need that bitcoin quickly.

Yeah I also think so that bitcoin don't need to be legalize just to use it in your country like as long as you can convert it to fiat that will be alright. I don't like laws and regulations for bitcoin. We all love bitcoin the way its decentralized, everyone is hands off to this.

the best reason would be when you want to go to a country like Japan which has about 260,000 merchants (last time i checked) who are accepting bitcoin. and that means you just walk around with your encrypted wallet on your phone for example and pay for anything you want with bitcoin, fast and easy and without the risk of someone mugging you in the street! they would just get your phone not your money.

wow i don't really imagine that there are 260,000 merchant in Japan that accepting bitcoin, that's too many. I just can imagine myself walking in the street and shopping around with just my phone in my pocket. Ahhhh, that's life!
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: July 05, 2017, 07:03:40 AM
because i know that someday bitcoin will skyrocket, Smiley and my current bitcoin will double its price.
Yes thats true invest bitcoin while we can. As the price is currently increasing its not too late to buy now and think of the future. I buy bitcoin and hold it because I know it will increase and definitely I can earn profit for sure.

Buy now before it will get to $3000
Dont wait til' you regret not buying the price now to get some good profit out of it. Investing is a wise decision today as the price will surely get to the moon. Definitely 100% return of income.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 05, 2017, 06:34:43 AM
We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.
This is very simple thing , you should think that lot of amount of the Bitcoin are hold by the owner of the Bitcoin , so what will happ if the network of the blockchain will face problem , I mean we don't need to worry much about this , and instead of this some preacuation should be taken by us .
1) Before 1 August transfer your all Bitcoin at the blockchain wallet .
2) If you have Bitcoin then transfer only Bitcoin to your address of blockchain also  .
3) don't make transaction like things from any of the Bitcoin wallet .
4) Make backup of your wallet of the blockchain before the 1 August  .
If you will do these things , then I don't think that you need to worry anything ways , because you are in official ways and platform and nothing is problem in the official wallets Wink

Thank you for the advice. I will do as you suggest. I hope everything is fine for me.

yes these are all precautions in the upcoming hard fork like its better to be safe than sorry.
its better to do these even if the activation will be succesful or not. stop spreading some fud about the splitting of coin as it brings some confusions to the community.
