761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: January 25, 2017, 09:41:40 AM
For me you should just wait or hold on to those bitcoins as there would be a great chance that the prices will still go up even until $1,100 again. Just ride the waves of its growth right now and once there is a panic selling again sell before that happens then buy back at the bottom price.
Actually no matter how many times we say that but some people always are worried no matter what ! Like in my skype group there are some people who always get crying with a little downfall .. now I told them that DON'T sell them at 800$ and now they are crying .. since price is again over 900$ !

They think I am a predictor while its pretty obvious lol
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: January 25, 2017, 08:38:20 AM
How different is trading from just gambling? I know there seems to be a  big difference with technical analysis and whatnot, but in the end aren't you just betting on something completely random?
There is a big difference between trading and gambling. If you say trading, it is an exchange of altcoins. You can earn here by just increasing the value of it then exchange it back to bitcoin. Then if you say gambling, there is a winner and there is a loser. You can earn also here if you know the tricks.
The problem is right there brother, you haven't understood trading in its core .. trading does not means buying an entity and selling it .. its not that simple and flat. Rather its trusting a company and the team behind them and backing them financially and hoping/believing that the shares will go up with time. But gambling is not having such part.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: January 25, 2017, 07:45:27 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
if I didn't have the money it's better I don't gamble, trying to solve a problem with gambling it would create another problem, that's what I think and I think gambling is a problem

Gambling in bad moments like when you have trouble or a problem is self destruction. You will gamble all you are going to have on you because you will not have hope in anything anymore. Think of breaking up with your wife or girlfriend - would you care about that money anymore? No, so nothing will stop you from gambling it and the situation can go from 1 to 100 in seconds. Better find something fun to do that doesn't harm you in ANY way..
I am a strict person and never would advice anyone but actually I once has in a bad situation in my real life and even thought of quitting .. but somehow a friend helped me with 1000 USD ( in my local currency actually ) and I just blindly bet with that on sports with my neighbours, etc and call it a luck or whatever but that little time span gave me enormous profits and all debts cleared. Though this happens 1 in a million.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 24, 2017, 12:03:01 PM
We can say that trading is exchanging money in different currencies and investing is just putting all the money into some business. Nevertheless, I would say that trading is investing in currencies and I think this is a promising thing to do. Just go to yobit or some other similar site, read stuff about some currencies and try your luck.
Yes, trading needs more than one instrument whereas investing would be done within one investment vehicle itself.

Trading will have more risks compared to investing, that is the reason I always prefer sticking with only investing like buying bitcoins and holding it for years. Surely it will get me more benefits than active traders earning in that period.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: January 24, 2017, 07:55:55 AM
I'm not using bitcoin debit card  or planning to have one. I don't like the idea of spending with debit card and have to pay high fees, remind me of conventional bank service which I don't like it in the first place. Depends on the FAQ to use the debit card, unfortunately I can't say too much as I don't know for sure, but if the idea similar to bank debit card, then it's not worth, at least for me.
Same here. I hate the high fees associated with most of the bitcoin debit cards. In my personal opinion, bitcoin debit cards are out of basic concepts of bitcoin system like we are selling bitcoins for the purposes of spending them. Even we are using bitcoins through debit cards it is equivalent to selling, I am really against it.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: January 24, 2017, 06:52:14 AM
I play poker and use Holdem Manager analysis software.

When I'm playing poker I don't use some software because I just do analysis manually. And I am more love to do analysis when playing actual poker. Because I can do face and reaction checking while playing unlike in playing poker online its somehow hard to do analysis because you can't see the reaction of your opponents faces.
You are right ! spot on !
We play here ace2three rummy game and it works the same way that we can see the face expression and know that the opponent has poor cards and play our game accordingly while if we are playing online we have to believe in the luck and skills only.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 24, 2017, 05:50:54 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?
When you are choosing bitcoins for your investments, I believe you need not bother about most of these constraints as bitcoin will be a safe heaven for your capital all the times at the same time you will be getting quick decent returns.

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?
I guess, only researches before making any investment is more than enough. But for better researches, we must have proper knowledge on investment aspects.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: January 24, 2017, 05:12:31 AM
- May be one person because if it was a group it will be hard for them to remain anonymous.
Yes and no. I guess Satoshi would have led a big team but none of team members would have contacted each other, their only point of contact must have been Satoshi. This way, I guess it would be easy for Satoshi to go anonymous completely with his all team members.

Like many experts conclude, Satohshi's decision was right as it has not impacted bitcoin ecosystem in any ways.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 100% safe? on: January 24, 2017, 04:37:21 AM

Has the bitcoin system ever been hacked until now? Is there any security vulnerability in the Bitcoin system up to now?

For the things I know about in bitcoin, the blockchain is proven and tested and one of the proof that it is very safe. Very visible to for the bitcoin community. Which can be said that all transaction and identity of the individuals are in good security, and it protect us against the hacker.
Blockchain is just a database, it is secured by the hash power of miners so as long as we will be having enough miners then there would be no need to worry about the security of blockchain.

The security of our bitcoin addresses and its private keys are secured by SHA256 algorithm which is backed by ECDSA cryptography. They will be safer till quantum computers hit the market, then we will switch to new more secured algorithm for our address/privatekey security.

So, bitcoin will remain safer all the time.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 23, 2017, 08:16:55 PM
we can use banks if we need save for more safety.. because for me bitcoin wallet is not so safety
How you can be sure that banks will be keeping your bitcoins safely ? When banks with bulk amount of bitcoins will be able to safeguard bitcoins, why not as an individual comparatively with small amount, you cannot keep safely ?

I guess banks also will be using similar wallets what we are using right now, so we cannot expect any special safety from them.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether bitcoin is able to change the level of a person's life for the better? on: January 23, 2017, 07:41:40 PM
Bitcoin is a really innovative way to both earn and store money, but the answer to your question really depends upon the fact whether you are ready to invest in the bitcoin market and face the consequences of loss, rather than backing out Smiley Smiley
Not just in bitcoin, everywhere you need to risk to enjoy the better benefits. Because only for new innovation prefering people, there will be better futures as a reward for their risk taking habits.

If you believe bitcoin is an innovative way to deal how we have got used to treat fiats, then there will be better chances to get changed in your life level.
772  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: January 23, 2017, 06:53:44 PM
Annnd he gave back all he won unluckily, but he promised to be back. and remember his last words: "Luckily Bitcoins isn't real money"
It makes me to think like early days of bitcoins. At the same time, only for the gamblers who are dare to risk their bitcoins like throwing bitcoins away get chances to win big. The lesson I am learning from him : if we hesitate to risk big then we need to go satisfied with peanut profits. Still, I guess I will not be ready to gamble like treating bitcoins as not a real money.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to create own bitcoin gambling site? on: January 23, 2017, 06:19:41 PM

You could look into buying an already working site OP, it will proably cost you the same and you might even have some instant revenue.  If you think you could do a good job in promoting the site then that could be your edge.
Do you think someone will be ready to sell a gambling site which is already making revenues. Moreover even if such site is available for sale, surely the prices will be huge compared to setting up a new gambling site.

My suggestion would be instead of buying an already working site, setting up your new gambling site with some new innovations and promoting it in this forum will get sure success.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: January 23, 2017, 05:41:55 PM
I would keep the winnings and use it to continue to gamble as it is my form of entertainment. Although in the end, i may end up losing all the winnings, i already have secure my base btc is still safe. So in this way, i get to gamble and at the same time limit my losses to the minimum.
to me it depend on the winning amount if the winning amount is a good one then i will divide it some for investment and some for shopping.
But my suggestion would be even if your winning amount is relatively small, you must withdraw them and keep  them in new personal wallet instead of keeping on gambling payroll itself. This way, you will prevent yourself accidentally keep on using winning amounts for your further gambling.

We always must concentrate to secure our winning amounts first, otherwise there will be no meaning play gambling like keep on risking all our winning and losing them at the end.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: January 23, 2017, 05:00:15 PM
When gambling analyzing is one of the best one to do when you don't know how to analyze then you don't know how to make money too best way and easiest way to analyze is in sports betting when you see the odds you already know who gonna make it lmao.
But I believe only in sports betting we will be getting chances to use our analysis to make money.

In other types of gambling your analysis will be having no significant importance.
I have spent more time for strategy analysis for dice gambling but there was no improvements in my performances in profit making in dice gambling so far.

778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: January 22, 2017, 09:08:51 PM
I don't think the length of time to hold Bitcoin matters when it comes to profiting from it but it has everything to do with being a strategist( knowing when to sell and when to buy). If you consider the history of bitcoins in recent times then you'll be convinced to hold it for sometime but that shouldn't be your only or long term strategy to profit.
I do not understand that how the length of holding will not influence profit making from bitcoin investments. In recent times we will be having different scenarios but overall in lifetime of bitcoin only the long term holders making good profits by holding bitcoins. Obviously holding bitcoins for longer haul is a good way to make more money.
779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you can Increase the value of Bitcoin on: January 22, 2017, 08:37:30 PM
The worst situation is that some of them may even believe that Bitcoin is evil and have some relationship with multi-level marketing AKA stupid ponzi scheme. That's why I never want to talk about Bitcoin with my friends or family
It is common when we are approaching some new people regarding money related things, surely they will doubt about multilevel marketing or as ponzis. We must have patience to convince them by explaining the features of bitcoin. We should not run away due to this.
Only due to unawareness, people will view bitcoins as ponzi. If bitcoin is the ponzi scheme, then every stocks and bonds also will be coming and ponzi scheme.

Moreover, investment opportunity of bitcoin is not the only thing. We can use bitcoin for easy internet transaction. If we explain the other benefits except investment opportunities, I guess they will easily spread bitcoins to have more value for bitcoins.
780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: January 22, 2017, 07:26:45 PM
Training is what you need. Start with disposable capital first. Practice trading with that along with known trading strategies.

As you become more confident and prepared for both winning and losing streaks, you'll make less mistakes, profit more and lose less.
Yes, only through experience we will be able to manage our emotions. Both in trading and gambling emotions are playing against us to deviate us from our original trading/gambling plans. If we start listening to our emotions then there will be no chances for discipline in trading.

Unlike Forex trading, I'm not that much emotional while trading in bitcoins. Bitcoin fluctuations are somewhat predictable so I'm not getting deviation from my trading plans.
