761  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: December 18, 2017, 02:56:45 PM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

Is this the impact of rising bitcoin prices?

Probably the user itself , cause without us who consumes tokens, Bitcoin will never famous as this time, cause Bitcoin is just a token used for pizza as they say ,I think Bitcoin becomes expensive also because of the investor who tend to put their money here since Bitcoin is slowly making its name.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: December 18, 2017, 02:21:15 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!

Why to wait? Theres no possible outcome if the only thing you do is wait. Potentials will not crawl onto your feet and say use me, but rather run, and you have to chase it. Profit will never be true if you didnt work for it, better to invest now than to hold something unrealistic.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 18, 2017, 02:02:54 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.

In what way? In way of earning? Maybe because I see this currency has the better offer and potentials in which I can be profitable with its simple rules and requirements, I am not limited in what other job offers, I am capable to set this as my second priority in which I am not being force to work .
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: December 17, 2017, 11:54:54 AM
There is a similar thread same with this topic. Bitcoin will not eliminate unemployment.  There is no forever profit in Bitcoin without having a regular work whose supplies a money to support Bitcoin activities such as mining and trading.

Yes thats true, for an activity to be consider as work or job it should be regularly done and developed according to what a centralized system is made, what I am trying to say is Bitcoin is not considerable to be work still since the way of having gain here is unpredictable.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2017, 07:52:23 PM
Bitcoin has been awesome and will always be awesome. We, who have been involved in Bitcoin since the very early days understand this very well. However, for the laymen, for the people who don't really understand the technical aspects of Bitcoin or those who only watch the mainstream media are skeptic about Bitcoin. Since, all they hear in the News is how Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities and how it offers complete anonymity (common misconception) to people to do what they need on Internet.

Have you ever convinced or encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin and did you have success? Of course, since we know that we are giving a good advice, so we would usually advice our own family members or friends about this.

In the past few months, I encouraged some of my friends to invest in Bitcoin. They had a lot of questions about it from technical perspective and I helped them understand. They invested in Bitcoin and are very happy with the returns. And now this information propagates and more people will get involved in Bitcoin.

In my humble opinion, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we can help understand people the positive aspects of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.

What are the most common responses you get from laymen about investing in Bitcoin?

Some popular ones I receive are:

1. "Oh, it's already too expensive, I cannot afford to buy it."
2. "The governments don't regulate it, why should I invest in it?"
3. "It's an illegal currency and only cyber criminals use it."
4. "What backs up Bitcoin? For example US Dollar is backed by Trust (all time favorite response Cheesy), but what backs up Bitcoin?"
5. "The market is way too volatile to invest."
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."
Yes I have already done something like that convincing and encouraging my friends to go beyond bitcoin cryptocurrency to let them also experience what I have been currently experiencing and to make them aware that a certain currency like bitcoin was already existing in the world to give people opportunity to gain and change their perspective about the world especially when it comes to cryptocurrency.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: December 11, 2017, 05:22:54 PM
The whole point of having a bank is to regulate money in a particular region and this is exactly the opposite of what Bitcoin proposes, decentralisation. Banks are centralised bodies which are run by the government/private agencies whereas Bitcoin is decentralised in nature, having no regulating authority so no, there won't be any Bitcoin Banks in the future either.

Yes that true, I think if this is implemented Bitcoin will biolate its feature itself and thats decenyralization, its not that very sutable for it but it will end up being in that sitution controlled eith power and authority , people will not allow this.
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will be stable Bitcoin Price? on: December 11, 2017, 05:11:46 PM
Bitcoin prise is increasing incredibly and sometime it's dumping also. But I don't know why , I don't feel good. When wil be bitcoin price stable? Any idea guys?

Sorry for my poor english, I am trying to improve it  Smiley

Thank You.
We should not expext too much for this ,bitcoin was made having its volatility feature , this is a big part of the Bitcoin in which because of this Bitcoin was known worldwide I think it will continually grow until someone will set it.
768  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Bitcoin be ban? on: December 11, 2017, 04:45:58 PM
Can Bitcoin be ban?

Bad news regarding Bitcoin was enlarging nowadays, Ihink banning of bitcoin will depends on how does the people react to it, they will its a scam , its a total crap the society will accept it like that because of the thing that they have lost theyre money here , entering in a huge platform without any prior researches.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: December 11, 2017, 09:38:05 AM
It is really cool to see how the price evolved over time and that keeps on going up and there might be a time when holding a dozen bitcoin could land you in the millionaire club, anything is possible with bitcoin and lets hope the trend keeps on rising and hope to see more millionaires being created.
Well this is possible especially for those who recognised bitcoin long time ago i which they end being millionaire here, I think this is one of the revolutionary way for a person to be successful, thanks to the (group) person who created this.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 04, 2017, 11:50:10 PM

771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: December 04, 2017, 11:17:33 PM
Basically we don't know the risk in every site if you invest money in a site first is you don't know if the site was trusted there are site that can give you small profit but many site are just scamming people who invested.

You should be aware where you invested because bitcoin has a huge involvement to money and hackers as well , so you didnt know who is good who is bad.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 04, 2017, 10:43:54 PM
I think we can start explain bitcoin by tell them that bitcoin is like other international currencies dollar, euro and many else. They will understand and you explain more about bitcoin.

First thing first, do we have to explain it do them? It was xlearly stated that they are children, I think this will make them tricky to think what it is really about. There is always a right time, just say that this is an extra way to make people profitable.
773  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: December 04, 2017, 10:30:10 PM
This will rise and stable around 1200$-1300$, and your way is up.
Prob 1500$ until mid of year

Well thats a great preposition, but yoiur vision is somehow bigger than what it is for now. It only shows that bitcoin can be something expensive like that without the help of China.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 04, 2017, 10:12:52 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

I dont think so, bitcoin has giving now a huge impact to society nowadays and I think it will not end so soon given the fact that people can be profitable.
775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 04, 2017, 09:03:56 PM
I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?
Bitcoin is now currently on its highest price peak but it is still open for dumps but only just a little are applied right now. I think falling down again into a very low price will now be impossible because it will be kinda ironic falling down again that big from a very large pump. If it will experience dump, it will be just a little dump since it was just a normal phenomenon in cryptocurrency.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 04, 2017, 08:16:09 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
Actually both choices between trading and investing are good in terms of using or getting engage into bitcoin cryptocurrency. Doing both will make you accountable of gaining whatever way you have chosen to do to make an earning or to gain a living. For you to be able to be flexible, better try doing both and see if what makes you have more potential to gain and that will make you use to choose what is better between those two.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 01:39:48 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

I think people should use bitcoin if they have some since it is being earned because you will probably use it for something worth it, given the fact that bitcoin is a very useful currency to be use and medium of payment.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 27, 2017, 02:55:50 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

If before bitcoin was used to be a payment for pizza I rhink it will remain as is today if the value still the same, but due to the function of it people will demand for it , and the more the people will demand the more that producers will increase its value. My answer to your question is no, people will tend to create more useful things if bitcoin wasnt evolve.
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin need to be taxed? on: November 27, 2017, 02:44:39 PM
Base from my recent post "Does bitcoin could be call a job?" I have read your opinions regarding to that. Doing these things is a form of earning money basically we have income. So does it need to be taxed? Because this is also a source of income, and we might call it as a job?

Well if you are aiming to see a better community, I think this must be happened ,but unlike the other government should apply small taxes for this . We can that this can help our community to offer a local services with an improve type of system.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: November 27, 2017, 02:31:50 PM
short answer no, just a little crisis due to the price being low/many lost huge amount of money because they bought at the peak, taxes being a problem, and other small stuff

just a despair phase that is very long apparently

Thats true, even nowadays bitcoin has been popularized through advertisements , I think bitcoin will soon be adapted by different establishments' systems and this is such a good thing. Bitcoin is still functional and it will still be productive for the next few years.
