761  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblineers.com | the Bitcoin Casino Guide on: September 20, 2020, 11:01:25 AM
Why don't you have tab on main page for Bitcoin, like you have for ethereum and tether?
First thing people like to see is best Bitcoin casinos.
You can also add people and user comments and reviews for casinos, and and few more that are missing now.

Caisno review sites should be made with the review and feedback of the people. There should be the name of the casino and voting button in front it and then it should be up to the gamblers who give them how many ranking /votes to each site. Sites like gamblineers are of no use as no one knows on what basis they have sorted out the casino and why they do not list  the most trusted popular casinos.

763  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: September 20, 2020, 10:14:11 AM
maybe its also a good idea to expand the sports section. yesterday when i was navigating the site, the sports markets were very limited. sometimes the pages were not loading also
have you ever considered to offer live betting that would give much more customers than now probably.

As mentioned by everyone the site was in maintenance mode and was slow in responding yesterday.
Also note that they are new casino in the market and still in the development process. They will bring in new games and hopefully more markets to bet on, in the future.
764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest for beginners on: September 20, 2020, 10:04:55 AM
Heyy guys,

I just started to invest money in crypto last month. What I invested is only famous cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, etherum and ripple. Could someone recommand me about the websites or videos which can teach beginners how to invest in crypto? Thanks!

Best wishes

You said that you already invested in few coins last month and now you are looking for the guides on how to invest in crypto ?
Well, you should have done the opposite, you should first learn about crypto and about the altcoins. After that you can invest in projects/coins which you think are long lasting one and give profits in the future.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2020, 09:37:48 AM
Watched last night's game and it was a joy after so long. The fake crowd sound in the background was jarring in the beginning but you get used to it gradually. I imagine if their is a guy at the studio trying to match the crowd's.noise level with every 4 and 6. The one thing i definitely missed was the crowd's rising cheer at the beginnign when the first ball is bowled in such tournaments. Kudos to the team IPL for the creativity though. The messGe from UAE minister in the beginning was nice to hear.

The  match itself was a cracker. The last minute fireworks from Curran stole the match away. Two awesome catches from du Plessis. Overall, it was worth it though you will miss the genuineness of the crowd and other bells and whistles of a packed stadium.

I switched on the tv in the middle of the first innings and when i heard the crowd noise, i believed that they have actually allowed the crowd in the stadium but later it was clear that was an artificial sound. Those who are watching on TV, never feel that the match is played in empty stadiums.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: September 20, 2020, 08:48:30 AM
I don't like comparing Ripple to Bitcoin. Both cryptos have their own drawback. XRP was never meant to be another Bitcoin. Ripple’s big bet is that XRP will become a “bridge currency” that many financial institutions use to settle cross-border payments faster and more cheaply than they do now using global payment networks, which can be slow and involve multiple middlemen.

XRP is the centralized coin while bitcoin is decentralized. This is the biggest difference between the two. Ripple was introduced to be used in the banking sector but it has never been used widely in the finial institutions. Although banking sector still support XRP over bitcoin but i don't think it can surpass bitcoin.
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2020, 07:04:22 AM
I have a thoughts that it would be difficult for old people to understand this technology knowing that this innovation contains a lot of sophisticated system. Though there are numerous of old people can easily to adapt but still majority of them were not. As a matter of fact most of them having a hard time to deal with this new innovation. Apparently, teaching it to young ones would be much better because they are the future.

It depends how old a person is. If he/she is 60-70+ years of age then it is useless to tell the about bitcoin. It will not be any use for them to use know about this digital currency. For the person who are 50+ years of age and under 60, you should first give them overview about the digital currency and if they show interest, only then explain the whole system to them.

Maybe they are asking to much for that strategy and been greedy to earn more money since they came to the point that they lose their entire bankroll by using that strategy, This statement really proves that we can't trust to much on martingale strategy so best for those people who want to earn is to copy the day trading style and settle with small percent of profits and leave, I think that's the best strategy to continuously gain.
You are right, you should not aspire to make a lot of money easily.  Such gamblers only think of earning a living and do not enjoy it.  Maybe they think that they will continue to make a profit by using such a strategy.  But not really because no strategy will work in the long run.  That's what I had in mind then, but because of my experiences, I know how to create my own strategy to avoid constant losses.
I agree on your this point in gambling no strategy works in long run because every time if you planing for this then surely your are going to burst very quickly on other note if someone is trying to live with this gambling income its also worst for him because I personal watch many gamblers living on footpath as they have nothing to spend or living just try to go with your budget and for fun is almost best option because without planing you never won big or in long run.

No one can survive with the gambling income because there is no income in gambling. You may make some bucks in a day and you will lose them on the other day. That's the story of most of the gamblers. There might be few lucky ones who won the jackpots but in general gambling is for fun only.
769  Other / Meta / Re: Why my threads get and got Deleted on: September 20, 2020, 04:01:09 AM
Since the OP hasnt posted in here after has opend this thread it looks in some way that its only done for advert there Pages !

Just when i look at the Thread title it looks that way , maybe the op can change it in " Why my threads get and got Deleted "

Just my 2 Cents

That's an indecent way of promotion the site if OP has such intentions. The subject doesn't suits here too and should be changed. However i don't think that people will be bothered to click and check that site. I haven't and i know most of us here won't go to that site.
770  Other / Meta / Re: Reduced forum activity on: September 19, 2020, 10:36:21 PM
I'm starting to notice that several forums, including Bitcoin Talk, are not as active as they were a while ago. Also many of the threads and posts seem to be of lower quality. I would have thought that the lock downs would have increased activity, but maybe people are playing games and watching Netflix instead. I'm increasing my domain development, so maybe it is just that I'm spending more time on the net, and getting impatient. Has anyone else noticed a slowdown?

You may see an overall decrease in the forum posts and activity because of the new system in place. Now you cannot rank up with only activity and many account farmers have left the forum.
I think the current activity of the forum is more likely a genuine one and consists of users who are actually interested in the forum. Although there may be some account farmers still exists but those numbers are decreasing.
771  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Indonesia and covid19 on: September 19, 2020, 12:33:29 PM
It is very sad to see the current situation in Indonesia.

STRESS, FRUSTATION and CONFUSION

Lockdown continues to apply in Indonesia. I don't understand what is happening right now, 'HERE' sometimes I think that the current situation is just fabricated. Because with the current situation there are some people who are at an advantage.

Seeing that other countries are safe from Corona and have started living a normal life, working and doing activities as usual

Meanwhile in Indonesia it is very difficult to earn income. Layoffs are everywhere, being fired from their jobs and leaving many people confused about how they make a living.

Please Indonesia !!!!!
This is already very dangerous

Indonesia is of the those countries which is highly effected by covid-19. There are 9,448 death reported in your country which can be confirmed by worldometers site. Obviously the situation of the economy and jobs rate will be on a decline but i hope it will recover soon once the pandemic is over.
772  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Another FAKE Binance airdrop on: September 19, 2020, 08:53:06 AM
Another thing to note is that they are asking for you to deposit Bitcoin / Ethereum in order for us to participate in the airdrop.  Just a rule of thumb is that genuine airdrops are free and they will never require you to deposit any money. People are so greedy that they will deposit money too in this scam giveaway.  Sad
773  Other / Meta / Re: Merit giveaway: is it a good idear? on: September 19, 2020, 07:30:34 AM
...... Merit giveaway threads often receive Merit, so that might be a reason to start one.
This is an interesting point. If we stop giving merits to giveaway threads, will we see less members below Legendary creating them?

Beginners & Help is one of my favorite boards to visit but I'm a bit disappointed seeing more of these merit giveaways and even redundant forum guides how to rank up. There is already a pinned topic for that.
But sadly they are desperate about getting merits so they are trying to find their ways or earning merits.I do see merit giveaway threads were created just because OP is getting some merit for such action and first of all it should be in off topic and in the past they were moved to off topic but now these reports are going unhandled.

These days opening a merit giveaway thread with the hope of getting merits for the OP is useless because no one give merits to the ones who open such thread. In the past, those who opened such threads got a lot of merits but not these days.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 18, 2020, 10:53:21 PM
Yes I understand this but some said just because Smith wasn't playing that Australia would lose and that is not the case in the shorter form of the game as Australia have won many times in ODI and T20 without Smith in the team. When it comes to test matches, that's another story as I do think that Australia need Smith in the team as he is that solid rock in test matches.

I don't agree. Even in ODI format, the absence of Steve Smith can be a major handicap for Australia. He is their most consistent batsman, by some distance. Marnus Labuschagne can be considered as the second best, but even he is not as good as Smith. None of the remaining batsmen are consistent enough, including Warner, Finch, Maxwell and Stoinis.

Do they have to depend upon Steve Smith to win  always ? What is the roles of  other 10 players in the team ?
A team which is dependent on one player can never be successful because that formula of one man show cannot work in cricket. The other batsmen need to develop themselves too so that they could also take their team to the winning stage.

Sometimes even the presence of a top quality player like Steve Smith can make a difference and it can put the other team at the back foot. It also gives confidence to the team and other players when your inform batsmen in included in plying XI. If Steve Smith had played the last match, the results might have been different.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 16, 2020, 06:18:25 PM
Isn't the Ashes a 5 test match series Huh So what makes the 3rd test so crucial if the second match is drawn. I agree that Australians prioritize their health. But if Smith has recovered from his concussion, there is no point for him to stay out of the decider  match. IMO, Smith will take part in today's match.

It was crucial, because Australia was ahead by 1-0 then (the second test ended in a draw). If they had won the third test, then the series would be theirs. Head injuries, irrespective of how minor they may look on the outside, should not be ignored. We had multiple deaths from concussions during the last 1-2 decades, including some of the promising young players. Anyway, I am sure that CA will take a decision which is acceptable to everyone regarding this.

But that was a test match and not a ODI. And there maybe many more occasions when teams after wining the first match in the series were not able to win the series. The same will happen today as Australia looking to lose the match and series today.
776  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal the ban on: September 14, 2020, 05:40:15 PM
It's too hilarious and ridiculous that you've appealed the 14-day ban.
I think it's neither ridiculous nor hilarious; it's exactly what I would expect from someone who didn't bother to read the rules in the first place, got banned for breaking them, and continues to break the rules by posting outside of his ban appeal thread.  Those are the kinds of people who just want to do whatever they want and don't like it when there are consequences.

I think OP is lucky he only got a 14 day ban instead of a permanent one.  That, by the way, is the warning you claim you never got.

I think he has learnt from his mistake. He will not post again from his alt account and also once his main account is restored, he will use the games and round section of the forum for giveaways and competition.

Lets give him some breathing space if he is on the right track  Smiley

To avoid extra suspensions, we will not use the forum until the main account is reactivated, hopefully before the 14days.
<snip>
This campaign and future similars will take place in games and rounds.

778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: September 13, 2020, 11:18:39 AM
Greetings! When I started betting on various events, I kept putting money on the options that were offering high payout but, naturally, weren't that likely to come true. I kept losing, so I decided to go for a radical change: betting only when the winner is pretty obvious and the payout is low but more or less secured. I won a few bets in a row like that, but my question is whether you'd consider it a good strategy for sports betting. I'm talking about bets for which the odds are 1.15 or something like that. Here're some bets I won like this:

Are these bets as safe as they seem? Would you go for this strategy or not? Why?

This might be safe for short term but in the long run you will lose your money because there will be matches where the favorite team will lose and hence you will lose the money.
As as example, you keep betting 100$ on these safe bets and earn 5$-15$ per bet. Lets suppose you won consecutive 5 bets and won 25 dollars but lost the next match and lose your 100$.

779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 13, 2020, 10:11:00 AM
Is anyone watching and following the Shpageeza Cricket League which is currently held at Kabul ?

The 14th match of this league between Speen Ghar Tigers and Kabul Eagles is in progress but I don't see any discussion of this league on this thread. Look like no one is interested in these matches.

I never heard about this league ? Are there any international players playing in this league ?

Its strange that you have time to follow such leagues which are not famous and no one watches them.

If OP wants a refund and he can't wait that's fine for me.

OK well you should probably refund this user as you just offered.

If you weren't planning on pulling a scam, why did you delete your post from his thread?

It was deleted. Anyway I am using discord for these reason. Username can't be changed I made my discord public several times. Any screenshot with the username or using developer mode and showing my ID will make it.

I am waiting on his reply now, today I have to travel a quite distance ~800 KM but tomorrow can solve by refunding or having his profile verified

i would like a refund only

Give him your bitcoin address so that he may refund you. You're lucky this time that he has responded you on this thread and is willing to refund your amount. Get the lesson learnt from this trade and do not repeat such mistakes in the future.
