Everything is ok  except of new captchas. It's so hard for me to solve most of them...Why that?

They're purposefully difficult so as to avoid bots solving them. That said, I stopped going to the site because of this; it's just more effort than I'm willing to put in...  Tongue

I realize they are a pain to solve, heck even I hate solving them but I was left with no choice really.

Because the first captcha was easily cracked by OCR software. I was aware of it and thought nobody would bother to do it with such small amounts, but i was wrong. People even started selling bots that would solve the captcha automatically for free play.

If a referral made you nothing, they get nothing when you share based on activity. I can add a column showing how much a referral has been paid back. As for being able to see how much a referral made you since last payout, it will be complicated but I'll look into it.

Yes, I got it. This column is an absolute must-have. Also you could add checkboxes against each referral whether they get payment, since inactive in the last round may also get their share (which doesn't seem fair). Would they get premiums also when choosing "Share amount based on referral activity"? If you don't save their last round commissions, they would, right? Obviously we should exclude them from payment, therefore the last round commissions by these referrals (if they made something) are also needed...

I do not wish to allow sharing with specific referrals because it will open the system to abuse ie. people open multiple accounts, claim prizes from each and then accumulate it in 1 account for payment. Right now such abuse is time consuming and the abuser will receive a lot of dust payments so not worth it.

I have started recording referral commissions a referral makes since last payout and I shall add that column in a couple of days and also allow you to share based on that very soon.

Now you can share some of your coins with your referrals using the "SHARE SOME COIN" section in the REFER page.

Please report any bugs/feedback/suggestions here.

Yes, I see this. Trying it now and will report if some bugs would arise... Could we set the amount paid back in relative terms (in percent) as well as in absolute?

If you check the box which says "Share amount based on referral activity", it pays users according to how much they have made you in commissions. To have a percent setting, I would need to record previous payments that you have made to referrers and then adjust new payments accordingly which would have a lot of overhead. Do you absolutely need this ? I have tried to keep it simple for now but if many people use this feature, I'll add to it.

At the absolute minimum you need to show how much the referrals brought us in commissions since the last payout. Now we can only see the total commissions which is not telling much. In fair terms, the current system is not very usable right now. Also, if I check the box which says "Share amount based on referral activity", what's the algorithm behind it? I have three referrals which made me nothing, I think it is fair they get nothing in return. There should as well be the system in place to inform what sum a referral got paid back with exactly...

The calculation for share based on activity is :

Amount Paid to Referral = Total Amount * (Total Commissions earned from that referral/Total Ref commissions earned by you)

If a referral made you nothing, they get nothing when you share based on activity. I can add a column showing how much a referral has been paid back. As for being able to see how much a referral made you since last payout, it will be complicated but I'll look into it.

A note to users using passwords like "123456" or "password" or "abcdef".

Quite a few users with such passwords got their accounts hacked and the bitcoin address and email in their account changed. Please use a strong password for your account because as bitcoins become more valuable such events will occur more frequently.

I have added a captcha to the login form so hackers will atleast not be able to trawl through accounts using a script but that is the most that I can do.

did the chance of winning higher prizes change?
it's been over a week and a half that I got my last > 9885 roll  Undecided (I usually got 1-2 each week)

I know it's random, so it could just be a bad luck streak.

Sorry, it's just bad luck. The chances have not changed.

Hey there....

I love the site! I actually joined this forum just to say that. Lol.

I've been using Freebitco.in for almost a month now and I just saw this thread via a Google search.

I'm currently at 0.00008359 BTC on the site.

Hopefully I'll roll that jackpot 8888

I am glad you like the site Smiley

For the love of god, get a lawyer that understands bitcoin and stop throwing random numbers out to the government.

Also, I'm curious - did they have a court issued warrant to obtain your customer data or did they intimidate you into giving it to them ?

wetsuit, now I have quite a lot of referrals and would like to share with them my surplus profits which they have produced for me. At first I thought of some manual payments, but later dropped that idea as being too clumsy and expensive due to fees. Is it possible to, say, pay back 50% (or some other arbitrary share) of all referral commissions to the referrals (to all at once or per referral basis)? In any case, you lose nothing in financial terms, and your user base may grow at that...

I think that would be a nice feature to have (in fact, I haven't seen anything of the kind anywhere)

Yup, should be able to implement that easily. Give me a week to do it.
773  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 27, 2013, 03:12:46 PM
Can you include a feature that allows the user to deposit bitcoins in your freebitco.in account?

Sorry, I have no plans to do that because that would turn the website into a gambling operation and will involve a lot of overhead for not that much benefit. There are already a lot of websites which allow you to deposit and gamble.
774  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 25, 2013, 08:35:44 PM
So i have to wait 1 week now ;x? Why dont you make normal withdraw whenever user wants? I dont understand that ;d

Then I would have to deduct 0.0001 BTC from each payout to pay the transaction fee. When I pay in batches, I pay the fee from my own pocket but if I have to pay users individually, I won't be able to afford to do that. 180,000 users multiplied by 0.0001 BTC transaction fee = 18 BTC just in fees to just make 1 payment to everyone.

Even now I pay a few hundred $ worth of bitcoins in fees every week but it is still kinda affordable.

My auto withdrawal yesterday worked fine, I received today.  Has anyone won the 10,000 max BTC roll?  I know people have cashed ou tbut has anyone won the max amount int he rolling/free BTC game?  Seems like someone should have won by now...

Quite a few people have won, but none have announced it here. The website has 170k+ users now so a lot of them are not members of this forum. If you check the transactions on the payout addresses https://blockchain.info/address/175o52E64wHQumzfLFnKrPaukJsvo9pgMb (current one) and https://blockchain.info/address/1FreefoKihgKN1nCPD4FNxuRDwwWjoiVFi (old one), you will see a few big payments have been made.

Srry , what happen if I didnt recive the bitcoins on Monday and Tuesday , I have to wait next Monday or its a normally delay ?

Thx - 1FokpRbrAJ1TcqmvzRuQQjwbDW8CETNrzz

You probably didn't receive payment this monday because you had auto-withdraw turned off or your balance was lower than 0.00005460 BTC on sunday when payments were added to the pending queue. unfortunately you will have to wait till next week to get paid as payments are made in batches to minimize transaction fees.

Should we be worried if we roll a lot in a day ?  I have a job where it's often not uncommon to sit there for 8 hours without much to do so it's quite easy to just sit on my phone rolling constantly. That's not including times where I'm stuck on a subway or taxi so rolling is a great way to kill the time.  Are people like that at risk of getting banned because it could look like a bot ?

I ended up losing it all but at one point I was up to 0.04 BTC and I think it's reasonable that i was doing 2 to 3 thousand rolls a day. I've often wondered if my account would get banned, I'm in the top 10 list of winners and it's all 100% manual.

Not really, I am keeping a record of all accounts that are being deleted by the bot detector and reinstating an account will only take a couple of minutes. You will just need to let me know that you are not using a bot.

Also I am constantly modifying the bot-detector as and when it makes a mistake.

I've recently been wildly advertising your service in the Local subsection of the forum, lol, and now I have around 30 referrals working for me. If someone of them tries to abuse the service (don't know how exactly but nevertheless), will I have any negative effects save for you banning that referral from playing, and will my total referral commissions be somehow affected?

Also, you said that you were going to translate your site into some popular languages, how are things going now?

You do not need to worry, only accounts that abuse the system are deleted and their referrals or their affiliates are not affected in any way.

Sorry, I haven't been able to work on the translations much because managing the overloaded server has been taking up all my free time. I shall be adding a new server by next week to manage the load so things should start looking better soon.

I have a question: when i made a account i had no wallet, so i made wallet through your site, i gave some fake email because i thought i will just check out this fast, i stayed there and collected some coins, but if i will want to withdraw it will appear on wallet that i dont have access to because i got no email. Could you add withraw to other bitcoin adresses not only to wallet that account is 'attached to'? Or is there any way to log in on wallet having only btc adress? Im new at this, thanks.

You can withdraw to any bitcoin address you want by clicking on PROFILE in the top menu and changing the bitcoin address there.

Srry guys, I have a problem with  FreeBitco.in It said my IP banned since yesterday, and I can't get the hourly draw there, later I create a new account (although in the first account I still have 5500 s ) so, Now I ve just recived tha same "Your IP Blocked", can help me someone pls ??

16wRSpGztRWyzvTD4LNskj4FHtv6ubCNpA     -   Why happen this ? (I dont use Bots or Scripts)

I can see that your account made more than 2,000 spins in the multiply game in 1 day. Did you do those manually ?

I love the site, thanks.  How are bots getting past the captcha?  Jeez that is annoying.  I love how it changes based on the value of BTC.

Not the captcha, they are abusing the multiply game with thousands of 1 satoshi bets, increasing the server load.

The site no longer works for me.  I played for 2 days on my office computer and the family computer.  It says blocked.  I was using 2 different wallets and that may be why.  Either that or I played too much while working.  I kept playing hi-lo for like 4 and was getting ahead slowly.  I'd just keep a tab open for it while I worked.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Could you check now and let me know if it is still hapenning.

I have an issue where I visit the site after a day and it says I have to wait 40 minutes (or 50 etc.) while I haven't visited in a day. I've experienced this quite a few times.

I have an issue where I visit the site after a day and it says I have to wait 40 minutes (or 50 etc.) while I haven't visited in a day. I've experienced this quite a few times.

I have also see this but only today.  I saw it this morning, it was the first time it has happened to me.  Wetsuit would you like to give your opinion on this??

This would happen if you are on a shared IP and someone using the same IP has claimed the free satoshis within an hour of you trying to play. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do about this because not restricting free plays to 1 play per IP would open the system to abuse.

Maybe try restarting your router and this will change your IP and you will probably be able to play.
