761  Economy / Speculation / Re: cryptocurrency market cap at $100 billion... Are we bottomed yet? on: December 18, 2018, 02:35:48 PM
Today, December 15, 2018, the cryptocurrency market capitalization slumped down to $100 billion.
The market that once held $840 in capitalization yet only has a $100 billion due to the market correction.
What y'all guys thinking? are we bottomed yet? or we still have some few more miles to go?  Roll Eyes
Today 18.12.2018 and the market cap is 115.207.323.682$.  Cheesy
In my opinion ''hope'' should be the last thing we lose. First of all, when we started crypto trading, we understood that we should invest money which afford to lose. Secondly, the price will recover, because the price is only the reflection of psychology and if we know how to heal our psychology, the price will also recover.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A transfer of 249.999 BTC happened just now, really amazing on: December 18, 2018, 02:18:24 PM
This might suggest that there will be a surge for BTC and other cryptocurrencies?
The amount is good but not strong enough to influence so even if owner wants to sell, I do not think it can affect the price. It can only influence low volume small fishes and shitcoins. Anyway, it is probably exchange's money and just sent to the wallet to hold it.
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: December 18, 2018, 01:51:21 PM
Binance traders are making more money than other traders
It is related to Binance itself. The price of the coin/token listed in Binance increases by at least 50% and if ready-made traders get the listed coins and sell it after 10 minutes, it can be profitable.
Example I have never used Dobitrade, one of the tokens that is in mew was listed there and the price went down 500 times, although Dobitrade is on the 5th. Afterwards I understood that 98% of the volume consist of EOS, ETH and LTC.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As we all know, the price of the coin can heavily depend on the news. on: December 18, 2018, 01:26:18 PM
Yep, FA is more logical for the present situation. But this analysis can be technical and fundamental. The most important is the effect of the analysis on human psychology. Even without these analyzes, price movement is possible. Because this sector differs from the others, so edge intervention is not possible.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes bitcoin a trending topic? Bitcoin in a nutshell. on: December 18, 2018, 01:04:53 PM
What makes bitcoin a trending topic?
Unless Bitcoin is accepted as it is, its attractive side is the volatile price which made more money than they want when it move upwards. There are very few people who see it as innovation, most people use it to earn money. On the other hand, as long as the BTC is not accepted as a payment, positive aspects have no meaning and it will only be a ''money machine''.

767  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Is Guarantee For Increasing BTC Price? on: December 16, 2018, 08:49:27 PM
No one can guarantee that you can always make money with Bitcoin. Volatility of price is more attracted side of Bitcoin even if the direction of movement is unknown. Besides it is not absolute that everything you invest in will provide you earnings. Even in banks you can lose.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Parity with Gold? on: December 16, 2018, 08:09:54 PM
It could be argued that gold is priced somewhat arbitrarily, based on market demand as a store of value -- exactly like BTC.   However gold is a physical product and has real-world uses as an element.

With all that taken into account, will the market drive them to general parity?  Like the Euro/Dollar?
The physical existence of the gold is not an proof that it matches with the same value as Bitcoin. Between gold and Bitcoin have big difference. Gold is a metal that has been valued by people for years, but Bitcoin is a new currency and has a power to determine our future. BTC is currently the best tool to measure any asset value.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 15, 2018, 09:35:13 PM
I would like to know what you guys think about next year,
I also hope for next year. Because the price may be positively affected by future news. In fact this could have been possible without development, but if the reflection of the candles last year was the result of 5 psychologies, now it is 500 or more and it makes things a little difficult.
770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 15, 2018, 09:13:51 PM
Actually people's learn from mistake. Those mistake I did began, I am realizing now. That's why I want to share it. Perhaps everyone will not agree with me. Every traders have few favorite coins. It's normal fact, but don't love too much any coin it's my logic.

I don't want to mention but I have lost many btc just one coin. Just think it will go more up and didn't sold. In a result price dropped 4X. So I want to say don't love any coin, just sale when you are in profit and go another coin or wait for drop price again and buy it. It's very difficult to recover once drop an Altcoin. One more thing, don't invest your all fund on single coin. It will loss more, who know it will up or drop.
I also faced a situation like you. Although the price was 95$ at the end of last year, I did not sell and wait for my favorite coin and I sold it worth of 2$ in August. But if I had not sold compulsorily, I had to sold it for 0.60-0.70$ now. lol. It is also better to diversify some of the money into stock or Forex instead of just crypto.
771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jump out of the ship when it is sinking. on: December 15, 2018, 08:51:10 PM
BTC prices are falling continously. Investors in the waking should alert themselves and try to minimise losses by booking profit . If this trend continue for another six months perhaps the present prices will look like a nighmare and  it will be late ,moreover the predictions of lower level becoming true .If it is negative view or advise to follow ?
We can not reach any result in the current situation and in my opinion many of who wanted to sell sold it until current price. Now just waiting can be a better investment for the future. Maybe this will make you lose more money but who made a lot of money in Bitcoin got it by waiting.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: Arthur Hayes: Who is this guy? Why is he making so much noise in the crypto? on: December 12, 2018, 08:07:02 PM
Hey guys,
I just want to ask who is Arthur Hayes and what are his credentials?
is he really a smart guy talking from the experience or he's just another John McAfee.
I see Mr. Hayes has been making so many predictions over a couple of months and none of them seems to be right.
I'm curious, we should be focusing on the smarter people, not just some speculators that are trying to make money off the market.
I am just reading what the experts say so what they say is only possibility for a market that was created 10 years ago. Choose the side that will help you from what they say but it is your decision if you want to apply. I think you should just go on with your own mistakes so that should be a lesson for you.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Trading is Profitable? on: December 12, 2018, 07:41:31 PM
The other side of Forex trading is a lot of scam accusations. I know that many people lost money in shady manipulations, at least in my country. That is why I have never involved in Forex trading and I prefere to stick to cryptocurrencies or to be precise to Bitcoin. Forex trading gives many promises but not so many profit, at least these are informations that I have.
You must own state for manipulation at Forex that has a daily volume of 4 trillion. There may be manipulation but at least hundreds of times less than cryptocurrency. And if it is about the brokers you call scam, this is the loser's own fault. At the moment there are many brokers in the world who have proven themselves, the LCG and Oanda are 2 of them.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: December 11, 2018, 07:49:44 PM
Gold is a good investment, and its quite more stable compare to cryptocurrency so for sure, those who are hardcore investors will go for this option. We should not depend on one source of income, if there’s a chance to earn in other market much better beside its hard to earn in cryptomarket now so people will really look for alternatives. We have to choose for our own sake, don’t listen to anyone’s opinion and be confident about your investment decision, gold and cryptocurrency are both good investments it just a matter of time.
Diversifying your portfolio is valid for these situations. It is not only within the cryptocurrency, diversifying between trading assets can prevent you from loosing. One of these assets is gold that some part of the money should be invested. Covering the volatile movement of cryptocurrency with slow movement of the gold can reduce your loss at least.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price predictions from Twitter 5 years from now on: December 11, 2018, 07:37:01 PM
But is there any reason to think that the pattern will repeat itself again? It's just a belief, there's no fundamental reason behind this pattern, just because it happened twice it doesn't mean that it will happen again. On other markets, no one goes through the history of past cycles saying that the same price movements will happen again at a larger scale.
You are absolutely right. Without any analysis everyone is doing price analysis. There have also been traders who estimated the price of 50k or more for this year but now there is no one. I agree it is just guessing and there is nothing exact but by what way did he come to this conclusion?
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Countries Government trying to stop bitcoin, what reason ....... on: December 11, 2018, 07:24:07 PM
what reason ?
Do you think the USA would want to give up its power? The state currency is USD which is the dominant currency and they can use it as they wish. Maybe I am wrong but I think that is the main reason.
When paper money cannot keep up with the development of technology, crypto will be accepted but it is not certain whether this will be Bitcoin.
777  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To raise before SEC decision or after? on: December 11, 2018, 07:01:17 PM
So we all knew the SEC were going to delay the ETF decision again, however this will be the last time they can delay it, and a decision will be made sometime before February 2019. How do you guys think this will affect the price of btc and crypto overall. Will it have as strong impact as last year when the big guys jumped the future train?

Whether they decide to approve or not, it does not have any effect if everybody in the market is just going about their business. The decision itself is not a determinant of the direction of price but the reaction of people to it. Based on current phenomenon, I don't are any major shift on price should SEC approval even happen now or in the near future.
I do not think so. All the candles we have seen so far are the reflection of human psychology and most of the time significant developments do not pass without affecting the price. The SEC's statement is one of them that everyone has been waiting since August. Bitcoin will certainly recover but I do not think the decision will be ineffective.
778  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about this plan? on: December 10, 2018, 11:27:15 PM
Imagine having one bitcoin.
You sell that bitcoin at the current price(around 3800 USD).
Bitcoin crashes again somewhere around Christmass and the price goes down to 1K USD.
You buy 3.8 bitcoins with the dollars you got from the previous sale and you HODL.
In 2019-2020 bitcoin recovers to 10K USD (or maybe reaches 20K ATH).
You have made atleast 38K USD. Grin
I know it's not guaranteed to happen, but hey, this is the Speculation forum,so why not speculate about this.
I think that this is every crypto whale's trading plan for the next 2 years.
What you said might be true. But while we cannot fully understand the situation we are currently in, another risk can make the situation worse. What if price will move to the opposite of what you said and if the current price is the bottom?  Huh
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets get some numbers - register your vote on: December 10, 2018, 10:25:43 PM
OK with a lot of fudding, negativity, trolling and spamming I truly believe
those involved are in the minority and are getting more airtime and attention
than they deserve.

So lets cast a simple vote to show everyone and especially the newbies
that bitcoin is a long game and not to panic about the negativity.

I will run this until December the 24th.
It is obvious that Cryptocurrency will be the future of money. It is not certain whether this money will Bitcoin. But in my opinion being global may be the reason for its acceptance. So think of the USD, just USA can create it and that means they can use the money as they want and surely USD is the power of USA. But if Bitcoin is accepted, the power will be in the hands of who deserve it.
780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where's the bottom well? on: December 10, 2018, 09:35:25 PM
It will be difficult to reach a conclusion by technical analysis related to the current situation. Finding bottom is not possible for the moment. It is more reasonable to trade short-term with TA. Or wait a little longer and afterwards move on according to developments.
