I also downloaded the http://209.208.111.8/chainblock_lim6-4-2014.rar you provided but the sync is stock at 18 hours. What to do to swap my 750 limecoins ? I have tested this, and confirm there is an problem. Iparn and Fercho are at work, I think. I will pass along the info. Your coins are secure. You will not lose them. My apologies for the issues.

are you relaunching due to the DGW2 32bit floating point bug? Which is I assume why you were experiencing sync issues? Dark, QB, Fry, LGC all managed to fix it and migrate to DGW3 without a relaunch. I hold some LIM and if your going to relaunch rather than fix the current problems it really doesn't bode well for me... There are about a dozen reasons for the relaunch, not just one. Your LIM will be transferable to LIMX within 24 hours of launch.

|
Couple of questions (may have already been answered but I couldn't see it):
1. Will LIM continue, albeit without support and further development? 2. At what point can we exchange our LIM for LIMX?
1. Support for LIM will be phased out, as all current LIM will be converted to LIMX 2. Shortly after launch a link will be added to the website that you can use to exchange your LIM for LIMX. It should be up well within 24 hours of LIMX going live.

I'm missing something. The 2% premine of the old Limecoin isn't included in the amount of Limecoins mined?
The original premine is not being carried over to LIMX. Just the mined LIM coins, to be distributed to current LIM holders via the website, as LIMX, after launch. There will be a 2% premine of LIMX.
|
|
|
Right, the current mined LIM will be swapped for LIMX, so that has to be covered, first and foremost. Everyone will get the same amount of LIMX as LIM they hold now, after launch.

We'd like everyone to take their LIM off exchanges and off android/web wallet, and put them into a windows, mac, or linux wallet before 6pm pacific time friday. please spread the word.
Just another reminder, move your LIM on to a Windows, Mac, or Linux wallet before launch time tomorrow night. LIM is still trading on multiple exchanges right now, make sure that if you stock up on some to swap after LIMX launch that you leave yourself enough time to transfer to a Windows, Mac, or Linux wallet. Thanks everyone, and check out the other thread if you have not: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637366.0Don't miss the (re) launch: 6/6 @ 6PM pacific time.

from which funds will be exchange LIM if everything starts from scratch?
From the premine, the largest portion of which will be used to swap everyone's old LIM to new LIMX. The process will be handled via a small form on the website.

Reminder to everyone: Please withdraw your LIM from exchanges, android, web wallets. Put them into your Windows, Mac or Linux wallet before Friday's relaunch (as LIMX) The thread for that is here, if anyone missed it:

All LIM will be swappable to LIMX post release. It will be done via the official website. So please remember to get all your LIM onto your windows, Mac, or Linux wallet before 6pm pacific time on Friday 6/6!

Do u guys have anything to do the erstwhile limedomain ? Your logo looks very same to theirs and they owe me some money...
Which one specifically? I got a couple dozen results on google with variations of limedomain. None of them are associated with Limecoin (LIM) or LimeCoinX (LIMX) though.

Purchasing and Currencies
11.17 Apps may facilitate transmission of approved virtual currencies provided that they do so in compliance with all state and federal laws for the territories in which the app functions. [Emphasis added] The reality is that Apple's Guidelines change isn't likely to result in Coinbase, Blockchain.info, or any other service bringing a wallet to the App Store any time soon. It's anyone's guess when that bolded clause above can be satisfied, but at least Apple has spelled out a position grounded in reason and logic. It's definitely a step in the right direction. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Interesting developments, worth watching.

Will wallets be posted in the OP, the back of the thread, or the website first?

OP has been updated with the pools on board so far:
http://limex.suchpool.pw http://limx.pool.mn https://www.minep.it/
We are still seeking a few more pools for launch, including P2P. Please contact me or Iparn via PM here if interested.
A block explorer will also be available at launch, courtesy of elcoco
If you can provide any goods and/or services for LIMX, please contact me or Iparn via PM as well.
Thank you!
