It's no secret that the original LIM had some stability issues. Full disclosure here. It became very inefficient, and disruptive, to continue applying band-aids to the original code, repeatedly. LIM has a very loyal community, and quite a lot of infrastructure. It also has a lot of goods and services, games, and features. All of that is being rolled into a much more stable and reliable code, right out of the gate. Instead of spending valuable time applying one band-aid after another, the time will now be spent implementing even more features, goods, and services, and continuing to build the coin as a real world currency. Those who currently hold LIM will be able to transfer them directly to LIMX after launch. It's a win/win for everyone.

On a personal note, I am very excited for this launch to happen, and very much look forward to seeing just how far this coin can go.
