To be honest, Barcelona don't need Messi anymore, with Barcelona condition being quite stable in terms of play and having gone through a lot after Messi departure, it feels very hypocritical to return on the grounds that his contract with PSG has expired. I still have faith in Aubu; he was performing admirably under Tuchel before his dismissal caused the entire team to fall apart. Letting Aubu go would be another terrible decision given that the team currently lacks a natural striker. Aubu is a good finisher with pace; what he needs is a coach who has plans for him and who can make the midfield work. I just hope that whoever the new manager is includes Aubu in their plans for the coming season. He can still play top football for two years, Xavi wants him back, but the decision will be made by the new manager. The only good and ideal successor if they decide to let him go would be Osimehn, but I doubt he would leave Napoli for a team without a UEFA competition next season.
