I am sure that none of the teams takes it as easy as you describe it here. If your implied assumption would hold any substance, how in the world did those two teams make it to the semifinals anyway? Names and ranks don't count so much anymore. Tottenham kicked out Manchester City in 2019 in the quarterfinals when nobody expected it at all.

The team winning the game between Real Madrid and Manchester City is going to be the favorite, but they have been the favorites right from the start, so nothing really changes. I definitely agree with everyone in here that is saying that Manchester City is the strongest team in this season and therefore the big favorite to win the Champions League this year, BUT that was also already the case in the last year and the year before that but still they were not able to win that competition yet. I think that Pep Guardiola sometimes wants to make to special things when playing those very big matches like the semi-final or the final of the CL. He overcomplicates the game than and makes it harder for his team. He should just let them play as usual and they have a very high chance to win it this year.
Of course Real Madrid is still a very dangerous opponent and you also need luck, momentum and so on.

Because it's true that when a player is focused on keeping one of the opposing players tight, in fact this can actually create a loss for the guard's own team. because a player who closely guards one of these players will have limited movements because he will only focus on guarding that one person. IMO, in this season, City is better than Real Madrid. whether it's in terms of players, tactics, statistics, also in terms of goal productivity. every game City played, they always dominated. except, in the second leg when they visited Bayern Munich. if I have to be honest, City deserves more to qualify for the next phase and even to win the Champions League trophy this season. i guess they have a complete cast. whether it's in defense, midfield, wings, also strikers who are hungry for goals. So far, Haaland has scored 32 goals in the Domestic league, 12 goals in the Champions League, this is amazing. I don't think it's a matter of having experience or not, but more about team strength, team play, teamwork, tactical, plus a bit of luck.
