761  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: June 19, 2014, 09:15:53 AM
XBTec is incompetent to run this campaign. He pays late. He did not pay all posters or op did not have funds to pay all. There is no certainty on this campaign. I have a feeling this company is a scam.

No.

He escrowed the first weeks payment and has clearly calculated all the payments as shown in the first post.

It's just a matter of time before he finishes sending the rest.

I disagree !

Payment was supposed to be on the 17th it is now the 19th.

It is no different to your normal job, if you are due to be paid on the 17th you expect it to be there, I know of people on this campaign that have borrowed BTC on the strength of getting paid on the 17th and have now defaulted on their loan, now whilst I personally would not borrow this guy did, but I guess that's another debate.

Then I read and I quote:

" I see that a lot of people confirmed that they have been paid. I will wait a bit longer and if nothing happens I will send the escrow back to XBTec.

Thank you for being legit, OP! "

That is from bitcoininformation who is doing the escrow on this, whilst I thank him for doing it, how can you contemplate returning escrow held funds when people are still waiting for payment.

I don't need the BTC I am owed for loans or anything, but Myself and XBTec entered into a contract where by I would carry his signature and in return he would pay me.

The funds are/have not been forth coming for me and a few others, so why shoudn't we moan.

Its ok for you that have been paid spouting your nonsense about wait, stop moaning etc etc but what about the people that havent been paid.

This is a JOKE !

Cheers

I see that a lot of people confirmed that they have been paid. I will wait a bit longer and if nothing happens I will send the escrow back to XBTec.

773  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buy/Sell Bitcointalk.org Accounts. (VERIFIED Account Broker) on: June 17, 2014, 12:34:10 PM
I have no real problems with people selling / buying accounts for the correct purpose, I would have purchased a member, or a full member account so I can get involved with signature campaigns but as I'm nearly there now anyway I see no point to it.

The problem arises when people are buying accounts then fly directly to the lending section and borrow on the accounts trust/rep level and then run.

I saw an account sold the other day that had borrowed money and returned it, it was then sold on to someone else, so what is now stopping the new owner going back to the same lender and saying " hey its me again, I paid you back last time can you lend me more etc" the lender will probably do this as they have history, but they are in fact dealing with a completely different and perhaps scam person.

Its a shame that a few will spoil it for everyone else.

777  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I need a NEWBIE with avatars on: June 17, 2014, 10:47:51 AM
They're stuck with it. It's usually some crappy Brad Pitt avatar or something haha. Theymos has stated he will remove them but wont change them. Think one guy selling accounts specified what avatar they had though so you could pick before you purchased.

Yeah that's what i thought, so quite why people would pay money for newbie account with an unknown  avitar seems a little silly me, but perhaps i'm missing something.

Thanks for the reply though Hilariousandco

BUT Now that avitars are no longer aloud can they be changed, I mean if someone buys one of these accounts are they able to change the avitar or are they stuck with what is there at the time of purchase ?

I dont get why anyone would buy if they cant change the avaitar to something they would want ?

Cheers
