Come on people, it's time for a 'community takeover' (lol) let some miracle dev step up crying 'moon' and then one final exit pump for the large holders and then...oblivion. Thank you for p(l)aying
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: February 22, 2015, 09:59:04 AM
Hi Folks,

Another Checkcoin deserter here, looks like you guys beat them to it. I was a little hesitant to invest, but now I see that you are actually developing I pulled the trigger. I only invest in product, not just ideas. That's so 2013.

Do you realise that if you pull this off it could be huge? This could cause a crypto hype treasure hunt, the linking pin between crypto and real world use.

Also companies could offer rewards for people coming to their store for example, by having an in store GEO faucet.
Or micro loans could be sent instantly without needing a third party. I don't know if you guys know Kiva? http://www.kiva.org/ basically it's an organization that mediates between the western world and developing countries, where you can give $25 loans to people setting up businesses or needing a little capital to restock their stores, or to buy farming equipment for example.

GEO could change all this by having the website, mobile wallets and a direct GEO < > Fiat exchange capability. A direct connection between fundraisers and the people themselves.

I just bought my GEO and will hold, as I said if you pull this off I am seriously thinking GEO will be a Top 10 coin, at the minimum.

+1 It's great to have you on board. I know you from back in the days and you sure know how to pick a winner  Smiley

Also have you seen the hash and difficulty? It's through the roof:

Net Hashrate: 11,269.73 MH/s
Current Difficulty      131.15607117
Est. Next Difficulty 157.43626848 (Change in 1 Blocks)

Look at the GEO thread, this could have been Checkcoin, but noooo you decided to mess it up
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: February 21, 2015, 11:02:53 AM
Looks like you guys are onto something here. Bought myself a couple of GEO, let's see where this goes.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Checkcoin] Explore the world using Checkcoin [PR PHASE] on: February 20, 2015, 10:14:08 PM

3 More days. Will they actually respond by the 23? We will see.

I'm sure they will respond when they are ready and not when you are done counting.

the announce will be pretty much something like

"Dear Community,
Our fundraising did not meet our expected goals and expectations. All our "discussions" were fruitful in terms of ideas, yet disappointing in terms of partnerships establishments This restricts our possibilities to  proceed forward with the development and geolocation features without the required funding resources.
We keep faith in the project and look forward the future of our concept"
Thank you

"An yes we scammed you hard from day one, keep believeing we might consider doing a round 2 ipo and scam you harder until our round 3 (that is goign to be all about version 2 before version one is out but this is a secret, sht) "

I must say I hated you when I was ultra bullish on CKC, but I find your post hilarious and spot on. They will deliver nothing.

Ah the 'refined' fudders have appeared, claiming staking issues. I've seen that with all other upcoming promising coins. Seemingly legit 'problems' and begging the dev for help..

One message : Try harder fudmonkeys

A day before delisting and the devs aren't around. They do not fucking care anymore, I'd advise anyone to sell your bags because by tomorrow you're left with useless coins.

BTC Vol 0.03723127 BTC @ Bittrex today  Roll Eyes This coin deserves to get delisted, pathetic.

Lol @  BTC parity. Did mess up the chart though

Order book looks solid though Smiley 1.5 BTC would take us to 6k

Someone is actively trying to flush out the weak hands to fill his bags cheaply. XQN was under the radar, but we're getting into the big league now.
Was able to pick up some coins @2600 thanks to those panic sellers. I wouldn't be surprised if these shakeouts will become a lot more aggressive, but I won't sell.
I bought and I will hold, both XAI and XQN are the freshest concepts out there, and nothing compares.

I have no crystal ball, but either XAI or XQN (or both) can become something truly spectacular. I've invested around 1 BTC in each (yep I am a smalltimer) and I will ride this either to the moon or to the ground, either way it will be one hell of a ride.

I love your attitude. Honestly, that is exactly how I feel when I trade. Especially when you are only investing 1 BTC or so. The Reward is MUCH higher than the risk at this point in time (for XAI & XQN - but more-so for XQN) and you will hopefully be patting yourself on the back when you realized you made the right decision.

-Kyle

Thanks my man, appreciate the kind words.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $XQN Quotient Financial Network | PoW Scrypt, PoS Blake-256 | UPDATE NOW on: February 18, 2015, 09:47:53 PM
It absolutely blows my mind to think people would panic sell for literally half the price of what it's worth...  It's like you just handed over 100-200 bucks for nothing (on average based on the last sell volume) . If you were one of those people who sold that low,  you are the prime definition of weak hands.

Anyways, Xqn isn't just like any other coin, this is revolutionary in the crypto world. Once people catch on to this,  expect 2x, 4x, or even 10x of the current price.

-Kyle

I understand, however you must remember people will take profits along the way - especially the people who were lucky enough to catch the panic sellers down at the 600-900 sat price around than a month ago. I don't think the recent sellers liked the 10btc sell wall that popped up earlier either  Grin

Yes you have a point, it just blows my mind still. I'm thinking of this as BTC... imagine having lets say... 5 Bitcoins and they were worth 400 Bucks... then 5 minutes later you panic sell @ 250... It just tells me that the people who dumped aren't smart traders and actually hurt themselves. It will be one of those situations where they will wake up a couple mornings from now and think SHIT... WHY WHY WHY did I sell?!

The first rule those new traders need to learn is to never get emotionally attached to your invested money. The old adage "only invest what you can afford to lose" means exactly that. Determine a sellprice for yourself and stick to it, if the market never reaches that and crashes tough luck. As I said a post earlier, I have 1 BTC riding on both XAI and XQN, if I wake up tomorrow and it's worth nothing? I don't care (except for the fact that it would be a shame for the awesome tech to go to waste). If I wake up tomorrow and I see a 100 percent rise but still short of my exit? I don't care. Really it's that simple, I've been on the XC and BTCD train, I bought XC at 1200 satoshi and BTCD at 20k satoshi and sold my XC bag at $2 each and BTCD at $5 each, those were my exits. Yes both went higher, but it doesn't matter profit is still profit (and a considerable profit I must add)

Only two more days until CKC gets delisted, the devs did not contact Bittrex because otherwise the delisting message would have dissapeared.
Another 48 hours and a lot of people will end up with a bag coins they can sell nowhere.
The show is over.

0.73 BTC to 1 satoshi

I like the fact that both xqn and xai have remained relatively FUD free.

So this makes blocknet and other frivolous endeavors redundant ?  Cool

quite possibly

We might just be witnessing the birth of crypto 2.0 here. If I understand correctly, these blockchain pairings together with Quotient XQN makes for a decentralized crypto trading platform among other things?

fyi I am going to put 3-5 btc into this project tonight and rip through whatever walls I need to get coins. Anything under 5k sats seems like fair price to me, especially considering the coin limit and that XQN goes hand in hand with XAI and is same dev.

Cheers!
