761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: January 13, 2024, 09:09:03 PM
In trading sometimes, there are situations and several times where traders while observing a trade placed and the profit they have made already  from it  begin to think and consider to exit from the trade and take the profit that they have made instead of waiting to the end.

Do you accept to be a weak trader or a wise trader when you exit a trade taking some profit, but not the entirety of what you want on your TP?

Taking profit is always good decision by any person that they are going to take the profit first and after that they can easily manage that whether they want to carry its trade or he wants to close the trade. Because there are a little problems and more risks involved in it.

For example if the person is going to continue the trade then he must be ready for the coin if it falls again and if he is going to make loss may be another time. As I have learned one thing in the crypto space that mostly in crypto the greed kills as mostly users was in greed that how they could make more money. Thinking and getting more money in trading glooks good but there would be more risks involved in it. So I think getting and booking the profit first is very necessary.

Pakistan Under-19s vs South Africa Under-19s (Warm up matches)

Today first Warm up match was finished with no result in ICC Under-19 World Cup Warm-up Matches competition and these match was just a practice match and not a single batter of these squads in this competition could be play seriously. Pakistan U19 against South Africa U19 squad match, Pakistan U19 batting inning performance was not good firstly and their sqaud collected only 211 scores after playing 41 overs by losing 8 wickets. Ahmed Hussain batter scored highest scores in overall match and total 36 scores off 38 deliveries. Both starter batters of Pakistan U19 squad was cleared out for m0 score. I  know this was just a warm up matches South Africa U19 squad easily emerged victory in this match if this match continues at end.

Looking the overall status of Pakistan Team in this series is not looking good as they are not even focusing on their own mistakes that they have already made previously like they are always being so weak at their batting side and still they are not focusing on their batting attach even though they have a good bowling coach and batting coach also.

On the other side the South African Under 19 team working hard on their bowling attack and thus they have proved that in many matches previous that they can still give defeat to many top class batters as well. This cricket is all about the passion a team wants to build with some good momentum to create.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved, next Ethereum ETF? on: January 13, 2024, 12:19:50 PM
As we all know, the Bitcoin ETF is already approved. So, do you think the next ETF for Ethereum will be approved as well? Many companies, including BlackRock, have filled the Ethereum ETF as well. I believe the line is already clear to approve the Ethereum ETF since the SEC gave green light to the Bitcoin ETF. We have noticed significant price movements on Ethereum since Bitcoin EFT was approved. I don't see any reason not to approve the Ethereum ETF as well. The deadline is May for the Ethereum ETF. We have to wait for that. What's your thoughts about Ethereum ETF?
only time will tell if Ethereum ETFs will also be approved or not. I think the response to Bitcoin ETFs will also play a key role in making this decision. they'll see if Bitcoin ETFs are successful or not.
Also those companies got ETF how well they manage these ETFS and what will be their effect in mainstream market as well as cryptocurrency market will play an important role too.

There's a good chance of an Ethereum ETF, but I think it'll be a slippery slope: from the ICO frauds of the past, Ethereum Foundation/Consensys dumping ETH pretty much every few months, etc.

The market seems to be expecting an Ethereum ETF though; but you know what's hilarious? If Litecoin gets an ETF instead of Ethereum lmao.
hahah. a Litecoin ETF would be fun. but I don't think these big companies are interested in that. otherwise they would've submitted aplications for Litecoin ETFs too. don't you think?
maybe with time every famoust Altcoin will have a ETF. how does that sounds?
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things in Binance Under New CEO - What are your thoughts? on: January 13, 2024, 10:38:05 AM
I haven't experienced much changes though, but I think the new CEO is doing just fine. I expected worse but to my greatest surprise he is still keeping the company in a good shape. One of things that might have triggered the fear of expecting bad performance from binance is after they removed some swap trading pairs, because the regulator and SEC was at their neck. But today I still use binance and am satisfied with their performance, I hope nothing changes.
You are right. I also think removing those tokens from swap was enforced by regulators, (don't know if that was SEC or another one) or maybe because they were not performing well. but I don't thnk removing them had affected Binance exchange a lot.

I haven’t noticed too much difference on the exchange, business side of things. Maybe the social media accounts are a little less edgy, a bit boring since Teng became the main man. I’m not too sure if that’s a good or bad thing for business. CZ is probably still covertly pulling the strings on the main business decisions, unbeknown to authorities. Binance is his baby after all.
I don't follow Binance in social media so don't know if there is any changes, but don't they have social media managers for that? I mean I don't think CZ was posting under official accounts, neither do new CEO. so they shouldn't change. unless new CEO fired the old guy and hired a new CM.
766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who is newbie and how long does it take to navigate the forum? on: January 13, 2024, 10:08:29 AM
I totally agree with you OP. that a Person's forum account rank does not indicate if he's generally a newbie in crypto or not.. i think it is very easy to figure that out by style and way of their posting and participating in discussion. and in which sections and boards they discuss.
Sadly some high rank members are so egoistic and arrogant that they don't take any correction from users with newbie or lower rank users, they don't think the person behind that account might be smarter and have more experience with them.

768  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IMPORTANT! Always check your Seed twice. on: January 13, 2024, 09:30:48 AM

The way I do it is as soon as I write down the Seed, I close the Wallet, then re launch it and use the Restore option.  Enter the Seed from the paper I just wrote and go from there.

this is a good method. but you should first complete the wallet creation and note down the wallet address too. then you can repeat the process to verify the seed. because sometimes even you enter a different word (with a similarity) in the wallet, it'll still open a wallet but then the address will be new. that's why it is always good to note down the address too.
769  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto News Site Created Recently on: January 13, 2024, 06:32:05 AM
I updated the site with new articles and updated my SSL. Still a work in progress, let me know check it out.

www.thisCrowd.com
which SSL did you used? it still gives the msg that "parts of this website are not secure such as Images" Maybe something is wrong with your images.

you should use shorter descriptions (equal for all articles) because the layout is kinda breaking up.

Overall it is a nice website. all the best.

Even on gigabyte internet in an uncongested area, it still takes your website a few seconds to load.   I can imagine people with non-fibre would have it even worse, and people that have a lot of windows open and are going through VPN/TOR.

I understand the way you built it, and I like the design, but maybe you could add a loading indicator of some kind?

I also do not understand how such a page load affects Google, because that will affect your SEO.
https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/26679/why-does-google-think-that-pages-load-slow
I opened it with a normal broadband 10mb package internet, it opened within few seconds. I am using the Mozilla browser.

Aj Pakistan ka aur New Zealand ke first serie thi T20 ke Pakistan match har gaya wase Pakistan NY Kafi asha khela han Pakistan har gaya hai par agar dekhien to  ICC world 2023 me Jo prefromance  thi Kafi sodar lag raha hai. New Zealand ke saath hone wale match mein unhone ek challenging target ko face kiya jo unke cricketing skills ko aur bhi behtar banane mein madad karega. Ab dekhte hain ki Pakistan apne agle series mein kis tarah ka performance dikhaata hai. Aane waale matches mein humein naye aur chamakte hue talents ka pata chalega, jo shayad team ko ek naye uchaiyon tak pahuncha sakte hain. Ye waqt hi batayega ki kaun kaunse players apne potential ko poora karke team ko aur bhi majboot bana sakte hain. 771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: January 11, 2024, 05:57:45 PM
Until now, there is nothing that can replace ETH in its position, and that is one of the reasons to choose to invest in ETH.
BNB is the second choice after ETH. because it is a solution to the shortcomings of ETH itself. although lately there has been shocking news about binance. so that makes this coin go down, but it is not a big problem for BNB holders because the system made is very good.

I only chose these 2 altcoins to be used as a long-term investment place. but still the risk is in your hands. invest in the crypto world with your own research.
I didn't see Binance going down because of that bad news. BNB coin has been top 3 to 5 for a long time now. right now it is in top 3 spot in CoinMarketcap.
I am not vouching by I myself is very bullish about the BNB coin. I think it has the potential to go a lot higher than the current price.
While Ethereum has proven to be very trustworthy Altcoin, next to bitcoin, I don't believe that no other altcoin can replace that. High gas problem in ethereum is a huge problem. which slowly slowly reducing their userbase. i think another altcoin will easily take their place if that problem is not solved.
772  Local / India / Re: Apple removes Binance, OKX and Kucoin from App Store in India. on: January 11, 2024, 02:11:44 PM
Bad news coming for those who have been trading on Binance, OKX, and Kucoin. Apple has removed these three exchange apps from its app store, the news that is being circulated in the mainstream media says that the move comes days after nine offshore virtual digital asset services providers were sent show-cause notices for AML. The blocking orders were sent 10 days back to Apple however they are still showing on Google Play Store. I did check that the Binance app is working fine on my mobile phone and I think it would be a good idea for anyone who has funds in the Binance wallet to transfer them to a personal wallet.
It is to suggest people to keep their funds in their personal wallets because exchanges are not safe at all. but so many people are regularly trading in these platforms. they can't just simply withdraw their funds to their wallets like that. and I think you are a bit over acting. even if these apps are removed from apple app store and now have risk of getting removed from google app store, there is still no reason to rush and withdraw your money. these exchanges are not just apps. don't forget that they have their websites also.  Everyone can easily login to their accounts using a pc or laptop and continue using them freely. i don't think it is good to raise tension like that.

Well, that's pretty sad news.

But does it affect Andriod users too?
So far Android users are safe..
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things in Binance Under New CEO - What are your thoughts? on: January 11, 2024, 09:52:19 AM
There has not been any huge difference except back to back listing of coins, CZ was more proactive and it would be too early to conclude on Richard Tang but right now there would be more pressure of centralized exchanges as we have seen regulators tightening their noose around CEX, Apple app store removing Binance from Indian market and how Richard Teng deals with this would define his credibility.
I don't think apple's removing Binance and other exchanges in its app store is as big news as it sounds. apple doesn't have as large a user base in India as the US, Japan etc. According to a reasearch apple has only 5% market share in India.

for me Cz is still the best CEO at least for now and Im user of binance and don't really hit or know anything when binance under new CEO and binance still binance and I don't think it effect much.

But CZ stand with crypto community sometimes outside the binance itself. I hope there will be a figure like Cz in future
Bruh CZ is not dead lol  Grin Grin Grin
He announced in Twitter that he's taking a break from Twitter for a while. Pretty sure he'll come back sooner or later, he said that before he'll be more focused on investing in new Defi and Crypto projects, He's gonna become a Gem hunter now.
774  Local / Mining (India) / Re: How well people here in india knows about Mining on: January 11, 2024, 06:01:58 AM
I'm pretty sure most crypto holders aren't much aware of mining.

Let's see how many know! Hurrah
I think sooner or later anyone involved in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in general will know about mining.
new comers may not know about mining.  or those who really don't care about information and where cryptocurrency coming from. because if anyone learns a little bit about Bitcoin, he'll know mining is the key to generating more bitcoins as well as confirming transactions.
Honestly, I think that should be the first thing for anyone coming into the Bitcoin world, to learn about Bitcoin and crypto little bit first and then start his journey into it.

776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things in Binance Under New CEO - What are your thoughts? on: January 10, 2024, 05:42:55 PM
Let's be honest, can he support the crypto community like CZ ?

In every CYCLE everytime there has some (FUD) on Crypto especially on Binance, CZ are quite active to defend or give update about the case while everything is under control (SAFU, etc).

I love how he really care about the ecosystem and not just only his service exchange platform.
You are right bro. I also really admired him for that habit. It felt like he never left Binance community alone.

Yes, I still remember the IEO period by Binance. and not all projects can easily list their tokens on the Binance exchange. and each token will usually create tremendous hype in the market.
However, with a new CEO, of course, there will be new efforts for them to develop the platform. however, Binance is already very big and growing tremendously as the largest crypto exchange today.
However, with the listing of new coins, of course, this becomes an attraction for investors and traders. Let's try to see first how the Binance market develops with several coins that will be listed.
Do you think that is an attraction for new investors? i feel like that might also reduce their crediblity among investors. listing too many tokens in very short period of time could make people think that they are only after money and don't care about quality of tokens anymore.

OP Edit; it's Richard Teng the new CEO of binance.

On the other hand, I haven't really noticed any change in binance even with your point, even while CZ is away he promised and I'm convinced he wouldn't let his investment or biggest project fail because of a circumstances. so I'm pretty sure that his eyes are on whatever is going on binance right now.

Damn. I am sorry man. and thanks for pointing that out. Post is edited now.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Your Exchange to Wallet Ratio? on: January 10, 2024, 04:57:37 PM
Noticing that CoinBase wants to take $10 per transaction to my Trezor, as well as some SATS once it's received.

What's the average/good SAT exchange rate and am I getting screwed on that end now?
Using the current rate, you only need to pay around $4.8 for the priority transaction (although it depend on how many of the input and output), so the answer is yes. I guess all centralized exchanges charge higher fee, it's the way for them to earn more profit.
Even if Centralized exchanges charge additional fees to earn profit that amount still charging $6 extra is too much.. if coinbase really doing that then they are really insanse. I am glad that coinbase don't work in my country and I'll never get to use that.
and that is yet another reason to keep your holding in your safe wallet. only keep as much as you need for trading in exchange and when you earn some profit from trading withdraw them too.

What's Your Exchange to Wallet Ratio? I usually put a big chunks of money in an external wallet meaning outside the exchange, especially the BTC because the fee is insane.

and I like the DeFi World so Most of my money is outside the exchange + I have 2 wallet hot wallet and cold one and that it
it is good that you are a Defi lover. but I suggest you to use separate wallet when using Defi platforms. never use your personal/cold wallet where you store majority of your funds.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Things in Binance Under New CEO - What are your thoughts? on: January 10, 2024, 02:00:04 PM
The Co-Founder and Previous CEO of Binance  Changpeng Zhao resigned amid legal issues on November 21, 2023, he had been serving as the CEO since Pojrect was Launched, After his departure Binance Appointed Richard Teng as the Company's New CEO.

So what do you think about him and how he manages things?

I have noticed one big difference so far, Binance now listing new tokens quicker than before.  The last 3 tokens were listed within 2 weeks one after another after few days of launchpool farming.

Before that, they used to be very picky.

What do you guys think about that?
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: January 10, 2024, 12:56:34 PM
Last week, an old friend of mine back then in the university in 2013 who later traveled to Canada to further his studies returned back to the country and yesterday, he coincidentally met my mum at a shopping mall and requested for my contact and my mom gave my number to him so he called and called the nickname that we both normally call ourselves back then in the university days I was so shocked to hear that and I called his original name and he answered and told me he is back from Canada and he requested we meet at a bar immediately.

So with excitement to hear from an old friend after so many years I just immediately took my bath and zoomed to the bar he directed me, so I got there lo and behold my old time friend. We exchanged pleasantries and started discussing about life and I told him how life have been so uneasy but that I got a job in a factory were am paid $60 for about 2 years now and i told him that my colleague at work introduced me to a forum called bitcointalk where i registered on the forum and learnt a lot of things concerning Bitcoin and i also showed him the amount of bitcoins i have stored in my wallet so far and he became curious to know about bitcoin and i explained everything i know about bitcoin and encouraged him to join me in buying and holdling bitcoin that we are awaiting the bull market after the halving so he became so furious and told me that since he knew me that I don't normally give attention to anything online (internet) but for me to hodl such huge amount of Bitcoins that it means am really serious about it so he became interested and ask me how he can buy Bitcoin as well so I told him step by step on how to buy Bitcoin and he bought Bitcoins worth $520 that is about 0.012194 btc so he told me that he wish to acquire 1 btc so I told him not to worry that he will use the DCA method to buy same amount of bitcoins at different interval then with time he will surely acquire the 1 btc.
My question now is that is it wise that I showed him the amount of Bitcoins I have accumulated before he developed interest?
you have acted aggressively when you can have more time together since you have not seen each other for long time , there are so much time to introduce bitcoin and also showing your wallet that instant?
is this a true story or just a made one? sorry but this sounds truly a made up story for me because all the details are seemingly a book type one.
I think it is not right to assume that anything someone saying is nothing but a made up story. there are times in our life when we find something really amazing. and we can't wait to share that information with someone else. we can't contain our excitement and tell someone as soon as we meet. so maybe OP was going through that phase.
But OP didn't share his wallet yet. he was asking if he should have done that or not. and everyone gave him some valuable advices.
I hope he reads us and stay vigilant about his Wallet.
