761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: March 31, 2019, 12:08:14 PM
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

the forum is filled with these people trying to make pennies spamming shitcoins and scam ICO's

these people dont mine or invest in things they believe in but whatever they think will make them rich. Its like giving homeless people GPU's and telling them they print money.

I think this last correction was needed and many more to kill off a lot of shit coins and lame projects as well as get rid of these poor people in the game just trying to get rich.

"my 1070 only makes $2 a day now!" oh you poor baby! try mining years ago when 5$ a month was huge but didn't matter cause you believed in the project.

/rantover lol

This world consists of poor people, bro Smiley 99% of people are poor. They are not ruining anything, they are just behaving like they used to behave. Same with any other business sphere or technology. It's ok.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the end near for ripple ? on: March 31, 2019, 12:05:28 PM
Since I came on this forum, I have tried to read and understand the top 10 tokens on coinmarketcap
But today I want to talk about ripple

I have believed ripple to be a banks token, and they have couple of agreements with banks too
Making good progress.

But with JPMorgan creating a stable coin to be used internally for banking purposes and faster transactions; what happens to ripple ?

Anyone can enlighten me further the consequences of banks creating their own Blockchain, ignoring ripple??

Ripple technology is being used already - not XRP as coin. So, I don't see any chances for Ripple to become the new bitcoin or even ethereum now. Maybe I am wrong, but this is my opinion.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🚀✅🆕💯🔝 How cryptocurrency has changed your life? 🔝💯🆕✅🚀 on: March 30, 2019, 09:34:41 PM
Crypto hasn't yet changed  our lives dramatically, but the changes it brings soon will be fantastic I think. Now we can only suppose what will be the main benefits of using crypto, but in 5 years the world will change completely, I believe in better future for the people Smiley
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto Currrencies failed to solve the Problem?? on: March 30, 2019, 09:31:27 PM
Being a Crypto currency lover for a long time . I loved one thing people believing on solution or Solution for the problem using crypto currency . Not only believing even they were investing . But i found lots of solution were just fake promises . Lots were submitted big white paper with lots of hopes only with the intention of raising funds . Do you find any currency really solve the problem??

This picture is caused by the amount of the projects in this sphere. More ICOs, more investors, less regulation and more greed... and we see hundreds of useless projects here as result. But there are few projects that are really worthy.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency investment on: March 30, 2019, 09:28:33 PM
I used to get worked up over a loss in cryptocurrency not until I realized that these losses can be mitigated using the right investment strategy.
Investing and holding a coin is not the issue here, the issue is knowing when to sell.
The most successful investors are those who know when exactly to sell.
And to do that, one need doses of patience so as not to fomo and sell at loss.
The difference between the rich and the poor is simply the ability to know the right time to sell.

I think you should just define the profit you want to get (in %) and sell upon reaching it anyway, without thinking about "what if...". That's the right way to invest in crypto.

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: March 29, 2019, 09:49:52 PM
Always wondered what people are talking about when talking about "best" coin...  Undecided
If best means capitalisation at the moment, then it's easy to decide, isn't it? Smiley
If this means the possible income opportunities, then we should think about the time limits here and the moment when you vote - the situation can change dramatically in a week or two Smiley
Or you mean idea? That will change the world forever? Smiley
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save and increase capital of cryptocurrencies? on: March 29, 2019, 09:42:03 PM
Many buy bitcoins and altcoins, they wait when the price will rise and sell. What other ways do you know?

Working in bounty campaigns, taking part in different airdrops and other activities of that kind... Mining as well. Different faucets and crypto games also. There are many ways Smiley
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: March 29, 2019, 09:40:04 PM
My reason was huge and fast profit I had never seen before Smiley
I bet 99% of the people presented in this topic have the same reasons lol  Grin Can't believe somebody's main motivation to invest was just a belief in better world Smiley
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: March 28, 2019, 08:35:30 PM
Its soooo unfair..  Sad like i will hold USDT for weeks at a time, and all the coins will pump!
but the day i decide to finally invest in a altcoin, it instantly turns into a blood bath!
EVERY FRIGGIN TIME

and i buy at the BOTTOM of the BOTTOM... whyyy does this always happen to me.. its totally not fair  Embarrassed

anyways.. what do you guys think about Wabi and KMD.. do you like these coins?

thnxx

I bet you are not alone here with such strategy  Grin
Try doing everything in the opposite direction - that's a good idea I think Smiley
Wanna buy in - don't do this, sell! Wanna sell, on panic? Stop! Buy!  Grin
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on: March 28, 2019, 08:32:36 PM
Ethereum is an attempt to solve Bitcoin’s limited functionality, according to Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin

https://ct.com/7d3u

Isn't this what you hear about every coin like this? The idea of such altcoins are very similar and the main principle is the same - to solve Bitcoin’s limited functionality Smiley
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: March 28, 2019, 08:30:29 PM
There are so many ways of losing you private information even without getting any cah for this, so, yeah, this idea looks worthy Smiley At least they pay you for that.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 28, 2019, 08:28:02 PM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Maybe you are hodling them because they worth nothing and there is no point in trying to sell any of them? Smiley That's quite an obvious motivation to hold I think Smiley
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs impose a minimum amount on investors? on: March 24, 2019, 07:31:33 PM
I am not talking about the private sales and pre-sales. I am talking about the main sales.
Don't you think ICOs should allow people to invest any amount of money they want? It will cause the tokens to be distributed among more people.
Assume that 1000 people are participating in an ICO and each of them is investing only 1 dollar. Don't you think they are more helpful than a person who is investing 1000 dollar?
Better to consider a maximum amount instead of a minimum and do not let the whales manipulate the price.

I think many ICOs don't want to deal with 1 bucks investors because they are usually not very clever and adequate. And also bigger number of participants makes KYC process more complicated.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 24, 2019, 07:28:13 PM
yes maybe not everything is like that! everything needs a process, but the fact is like that.
sometimes I think, what's the use of them making their own cryptocurrency but when entering the market there is no further price development. after that it feels like dead!
I hope I don't misjudge.

It's difficult to judge now when everything is dumped and many coins are almost dead. We will see how this will going to change when the high season comes Smiley
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: March 24, 2019, 07:00:37 PM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

With this logic you'd better go and trade fiat, lol Smiley
Bitcoin is risky but profitable enough to take this risk. Altcoins are even more risky and much more profitable than bitcoin sometimes. So, you are free to play with them if you want.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto is getting ready for nice rally. Are you ready? on: March 23, 2019, 07:30:03 PM
From 2018 till date, we are getting awesome news on crypto. But market went into opposite. But hope progress can be made on SEC and/ or CFTC approval, US gov is back on action. Large name like Fidelity, IFC etc are quite confident in btc. Plus ethereum constantinopole hardfork is due. So future is bright, may be this rally will be ended but next bull run will be longer and higher

I am not sure about longer... but higher - that's for sure Smiley
Hope we will see this new bull run this year, probably in III quarter, that would be very nice. You hear me, whales? June/July is the best time for the rally to begin!  Grin
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can the global crisis affect crypto? on: March 23, 2019, 07:22:45 PM
It will either make money flow to crypto and make it pump Moon high... or people will have nothing to buy food for and none of them will invest to crypto at all  Grin
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between good and bad projects on: March 23, 2019, 06:54:53 PM
Usually use icobench or some other monitorings. But the best way to find out if the project is worthy or not - is to investigate it by yourself I think. You will make your own decision and gain some experience as result.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck is the opposite on: March 22, 2019, 05:34:16 PM
I have a very good intuition in the other direction.
If I buy something, then it falls in price. If I sell, it grows almost immediately. Am I following the crowd and losing, or are I being harassed (curse)?
Am I the only one?

I would advise you to visit some voodoo shamans first. Who knows, maybe some guys from Wall Street have your doll and use it in some dark rituals... Seriously.
