My current salary right about $ 192 / month (it's quite high on Asia)

$ 77 used it to pay my life insurance
$ 46 used it for daily eat
$ 20 ~ 40 used it for school things & fun

I'm glad that I can save my money about $ 29 ~ 49 every month  Smiley

May I ask what country you live in and what your age is?  $77/month sounds high for life insurance and dedicating 40% of your income to life insurance also doesn't sound right.  What is your coverage?

Unless you have dependents that rely on you for basic needs and would be left with nothing if you were to pass away, I would tone down that life insurance.  I live in Canada, and paying $70 for life insurance even given a $4000/month income is too high for me.

Again, I don't know what your particular situation is, but putting 40% of income into life insurance is insane around here.  Putting 40% of income towards a mortgage to pay for a house, is even on the high end, and at least you are able to benefit from the house.
762  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Bitcoin Island - Bali - Indonesia on: April 11, 2015, 01:56:10 AM
really?? but I saw in coinmap there are like at least 15 merchants that are accepting Bitcoin, and one of them was this huge five-star hotel called Viceroy.

From what I'm reading here, it looks like there are and I'm not doubting that.  I'm just saying while I was there, I didn't see anything bitcoin related, however I didn't go out of my way to search for it.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 10, 2015, 07:10:34 PM
Agreed.

True Story   - I once knew a person who was a fresh graduate and had a Credit Card with almost USD $1000 in outstanding balance. She borrowed roughly USD $400 from her parents to pay for daily expenses; food/transportation etc. Upon getting a entry level job that paid USD $1600 a month, she didn't pay back her family or put most of it to cover the Credit Card. Instead she went shopping and out with friends and had to borrow another USD $300 from her family again. Her 4 months working should be been enough to cover her initial outstanding balance as well save some money for the future but the Credit Card became approximately USD $2000 outstanding and owing her family amount USD $1300.

The credit card industry thrives because of the stupidity of people. I will never be able to fathom how people roll over their credit card debt, even when they know that they are paying such a high rate of interest on them.

It really is mind boggling.  Many people just don't have the discipline to save in order to purchase, and are happy to go into debt for consumption.  If it's for basic needs, I understand, but even then, taking on another form of debt like a line of credit with a much lower rate of interest would be the way to go.

Credit cards offer security, insurance, rewards and a quick form of payment to me, so I enjoy using it, but with the intent to pay it off monthly.

Actually, what do you guys think about Indonesia Huh

I've been to Bali twice and it's one of my favourite places to travel.  Haven't been to anywhere else in Indonesia.  Was thinking to go to the Gili Islands, but I had such a great experience in Ubud, that I just stayed there.

Seems like a good spot to adopt Bitcoin as there are a lot of cash transactions.

ubud had a great bitcoin community there. I heard that they were the one who created the bitcoin film festival in Ubud a few months ago  Cheesy

I was just there in December, and I wasn't particularly looking out for bitcoin, but didn't see anything at all related to it.  I also had issues where my bank card was frozen, so it was difficult and frustrating to be able to withdraw spending money there.  It would be great to be able to use bitcoin there, to not have to deal with banks at all.
765  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crazy idea about exiting the system. on: April 10, 2015, 03:46:27 AM
Sounds like going to the cabin/cottage/camping, except permanently.  What would be the reason for doing this permanently?  Sounds kind of like a shamanic journey or vanaprastha, where one leaves society for an extended period of time.

It could be seen as a desired lifestyle or a challenge.  If it was a challenge then it would be temporary, and if it was the desired lifestyle, I'm curious as to why it is desired?

I've put my life on hold before (quit my job, got a one way ticket to to backpack in Asia for months with nothing planned or booked).

767  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate? on: April 09, 2015, 09:56:33 PM
Because we cannot accept the fact that we all don't know shit and we are all in a journey to understand one another. Some of us get stuck on the idea that they know better. And when they meet similar minded people it makes them think that they cannot be wrong because there are more people like them. then things gets ugly.

p.s. also it greatly make things worse when you delude yourself that god is so approving of the way you think.

I find that people that are genuinely loved and accepted as children, become more experienced with emotional expression and development.  Not having that love and acceptance can be overcome to grow into being relatively emotionally free, but more often than not, it results in emotional instability, insecurity, fear, and low self-awareness.

Think about someone that you've come across with unnecessary aggression.  Someone that wanted to have a verbal or physical altercation for something petty or maybe for no rational reason at all.  What do you think the relationship is like with their father?  What is their emotional development like if they go from calm to pissed in 1 second?  What is the source of insecurity that causes someone to need to belittle or hurt another to feel good?

I am most impressed by people that have had a rough childhood, but still had the guts to address their own personal issues and be empathetic to others.

Anyways, regarding the wolf story in the OP, I heard this story first from a guy that was contracted to build wooden fences in the backyards of a few houses where I used to live.  He seemed like he was getting into philosophy and changing his ways after being an alcoholic.  The guy ended up taking the deposits and never finished the fences.  The evil wolf was well fed that day lol.
768  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 09, 2015, 07:47:53 PM
All good advice. And...don't tell everybody that you have saved money, and don't give it away to anyone who asks. Be the guy that mysteriously can keep dry on a rainy day, and get out of trouble. Like a cat that always can land on its feet. (I wish I knew when I was young...)

Why help others when you can look cool?

Welcome to 2015 everyone!

A very sensible approach IMO. Money brings out the evil in an awful lot of people. If they sniff it then they'll take and take and take. People will throw away their deepest relationships for financial gain sometimes.

It's better to not keep people like that in your life, as hard as that can be sometimes.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is an imaginary concept, but humanity is enslaved by it on: April 09, 2015, 06:08:02 PM
Technically, this slavery is self-imposed. If people can live without using fiat currency, then there will be no slavery. But it seems they'd rather have a unit of value and become the slave instead. In fact the slavery also comes from the fact that they are desperately dependent on the banks, so when banks failed, all their deposits will be gone, so banks must be bailed out

I agree that this is possible, but only living "off the grid", in nature, with a sustainable hunter/gatherer tribal type of lifestyle.  However living without FIAT is not possible in urban areas.  Just from a taxation perspective, everyone is liable for paying taxes and only FIAT an acceptable form of payment.

Banks don't need to be bailed out.  If deposits weren't government backed via bailout, then depositors would be much more interested in understanding the risk and solvency of the bank, and choose stable vs. risky/speculative banks.  With government backed banks in the event of bankruptcy, banks are able to take considerably more risk because either it goes well and they profit huge, or they go bust and get bailed out.  In a free market, the shitty banks would fail, depositors would lose money, but taxpayers would not and better banks would be created in their place.

It really shouldn't be treated much differently than any other business that fails.  If I create a business that can't stay profitable, why is it the problem of the taxpayer to keep my business afloat?  Furthermore, could those resources be reallocated to someone else who could do a better job of running the business?

Failing is a healthy part of the economy; it gets rid of the parts that couldn't adapt to change and lose relevancy.  To start taking resources from productive parts of the economy to subsidize the failing parts is foolish.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losses on: April 08, 2015, 11:46:05 PM
Yes I can gamble it, I have a lot of bitcoin from the early years (2011-2012) and for me it is not a problem. I can afford to lose them and gamble them, good luck guys!

Ok looks like you're not losing your shirt or anything, but have a mission to get your bitcoin back from the casinos haha.

That reminds me of my original bitcoin investment and how i lost it. I had an old Dell duocore laptop i used to cold storage my bitcoins. i have two laptops at the time, the one i still have and the one i had then. i had a laptop baggy foreach. identical bags, with a front pouch. in one of the pouches, i kept a usb drive with a text file of all the private keys for my cold storage addresses. just in case that something happened to my cold storage laptop. I was storing approximately 325 btc on this cold storage computer. i bought at less than 3 dollars a coin, so thats not a huge investment.

Now here's what happened:

A supposed friend showed up early one morning and asked if he could borrow my computer. i said sure, just take it to the living room and surf, but i'm going back to sleep. when i woke up, my pc was sitting on my desk, but my cold storage laptop was gone along with its carrying case. When they caught the guy, he was high on crak, having traded my laptop for about 25 dollars worth of crack. he never rolled on his dealer, and to this day i wonder what happened to my bitcoins and my laptop. If i would have had that pc when bitcoin hit its high of $1150 a coin, i would be a fairly wealthy man right now. Later on the guy apologized to me "You had two laptops bro, i figured you wouldn't miss the old one much" was his excuse.

That was one expensive hit of crack.  Curious as to how a friendship works with a crack user/addict?
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losses on: April 08, 2015, 10:08:57 PM
No, sorry I can't stop. I "must" recover that loss and gain another 15 btc for pay all my debt. Bitcoin is an extremely and huge world and I want to gain how much I can.

So you've gambled your way into losses and you're planning on gambling your way out of the losses?

Can you afford to lose more from gambling as that is mathematically the most likely outcome?

Best of luck to you, but maybe finding another way to generate income aside from gambling would be a good idea.
772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Skill Game with Bitcoin on: April 07, 2015, 08:42:08 PM
There's a game on Android called 80s Shooter.

I've received about 10,000 satoshi after playing a few games.  Not sure what the actual payout is per game but you need a score of 300 in order to receive a payout.  They need to do a better job of explaining.

Anyways, there's a referral code.  Not even sure what the payout is on that either, but if you feel like putting it in, mine is "wzhiba".
I really want to play it, but it's not compatible to my phone Cry

Ah that sucks.  Maybe you can use one of the web-based Android emulators if you're interested.

The game play is a little weird, but I've made over 100,000 satoshi in maybe 2-3 hours of playing.  It pays out a lot more than Coin Flapper and each time you win it automatically sends an individual payment.
773  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Skill Game with Bitcoin on: April 07, 2015, 06:11:11 PM
I'm looking for a game that totally FREE, so we don't need to deposit our BTCitcoin to play the game.

Not sure if this was in response to the game that I posted (80s shooter), but it is free.  You don't need to make a deposit to play.

So now that I've played the game a few times, I can confirm that the payout is about 3900 satoshi for every 300 points/coins collected in the game.  There is no withdrawal fee and it is sent to your wallet as it is earned.

Whether or not you put me as a referral, I'd check it out if you have an Android device.

So you mean that wage $8/h is not enough to live in america right? and you said in other country in asia that $8 would have a great help to improved our life. Thats true $8/h is very useful in asian . it makes our lives better and convenient . Its greatly help to prospered our lives. But in asia even if you are unskilled or skilled labour, all are equal in community and also they have value . And also we thanks them because they working and they not doing anything wrong like gambling, robbing, snatching etc.

Yes, of course the social aspects have been treated independently.  A good/helpful/kind/aware/generous/empathetic person adds to the prosperity of society, with or without financial wealth.

IMO, do what you are most passionate about, find a way that it can benefit others, continuously learn and become a master in it, and design your career around that.  It is much more difficult than getting a dead end job, but it's a much better way to live life.

776  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 06, 2015, 06:42:12 PM
The $8/h is my only example . Cheesy so you mean that ? that wage for unskilled labour and for only in a part-time job or an a old person and all of your example are all about in north america and typically what is job for unskilled labour give me examples. Sorry for my example i got that in google Cheesy minimum wage of america.

Yeah, the example is for North America - I live in Canada so I can give specific examples of minimum wage type (between $11-15/hr) jobs around here:

- working at a fast food restaurant in food prep or cashier (McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc.)
- working at a grocery store or supermarket either stocking shelves or produce or cashier (Costco, Walmart, Loblaws, Sobeys, etc.)
- working at a clothing or footwear store (can also be commissioned)
- working at a hardware store stocking shelves (Home Depot, Lowe's, Rona)
- working at a call centre as a CSR

Of course, for these jobs, you can make more than minimum wage with time and seniority.  But for these types of jobs, you don't really need a particular education or knowledge or experience outside of what you will be trained for in the first week or two by the company.

Jobs like this usually have a high turnover, because as soon as you are able to get a better/higher paying job, you leave.  These are also usually not the most enjoyable jobs.

So for living in Toronto, a wage like that is VERY difficult to get by on.  Your residence would likely be subsidized housing, or a rooming house, or a basement apartment in the suburbs.  Then once you get into the suburbs, it's difficult to get around with public transportation, and you can't afford a car/insurance/gas/maintenance with minimum wage.  So instead of focusing on savings, I'd focus on getting a skill and being able to generate more income, if financial stability is your main goal.

For other parts of the world, where the cost of living is significantly less, then something like $8/hour might be a very decent wage that allows for a pretty good lifestyle.  I went backpacking through 8 countries in Asia, where $8/hour would make for a great lifestyle.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 06, 2015, 03:38:51 PM
How you can say that wage is for an unskilled people? Do you think they will get a job if they are unskilled?
And you said that if they need a big wage they will study, if they have enough money to study? Their wage are enough to live and make savings .

The condition that I put is if the person is living in North America, or any developed nation for that matter.  Where I live, minimum wage is $11/hr and that is for unskilled labour.  That means that you work a job that doesn't really require any previous experience or training.  This would be a typical job for someone that is either in school and working part-time or an older person that does not have the requirements to get a skilled job, whether that be experience, formal education or learned trade.

I know people come from all sorts of different financial backgrounds, some being very poor and some being very wealthy.  Unfortunately the less fortunate need to work that much harder and smarter to make it.  In North America, you can get student loans to go to University or College, and graduate with a pile of debt, but likely be able to make a lot more money than a minimum wage job.

At $8/hour, that would be about $16,000 in annual income.  Where I live, that is not enough to live on your own.  My mortgage alone costs more than that, and that doesn't leave anything for food, utilities, communications, transportation, clothes, entertainment, etc.  So at $8/hour, savings is not my concern, income generation is.

So again, depends where you live and what the cost of living is.  I'm not trying to offend or insult anyone by saying "unskilled" but that is the term used for the type of job that earns minimum wage.

779  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 06, 2015, 04:38:37 AM
It's really not this easy. I like how you've suggested a financial plan, but someone who makes almost 8 bucks an hour can not afford multiple things on top of their daily bills. It's easy to make a financial plan if you make enough money to where you don't have your monthly budgets interfering with each other. For example, medical emergencies. At that type of salary, you're essentially one accident away from any financial savings for anything collapsing. Your car savings, or your house savings, can all be destroyed with the medical side of your life taking over it due to an insufficient "medical fund". Saving money is something everyone would love to do, but when you don't have a decent salary, it's next to impossible.
Sir, all things are possible 8 bucks per hour? It is enough for a normal person . And you said that all of your savings will be destroyed by pne accident? No . Do you really read this thread? That your savings must 20% of your monthly salary? And its use in 2 different ways? First the 10% is for emergencies,  so you cant spent the other 10% wich must spend in your personal interest like business, investment, and etc. So how possible you can't save? If you do this strategies you can save every month. And like i said theres a choices , save or not so choose.

So there are a couple things to pay attention to.  One is income generation and the other is under-consumption (saving).  It would make sense for effort to be put into income generation primarily, and then towards savings.

If someone is making 8 bucks an hour and living in North America, then the effort needs to go into generating more income.  That wage is for unskilled labour, so it would make sense to gain a skillset that pays more.  Don't fall into the trap of doing unskilled labour for life.  That type of job should be a steppingstone to something else.  If you are going to learn a trade, get a formal education, or learn a skillset that you can apply on your own, it will allow you to get out of that trap of labour/retail type jobs.

8 bucks an hour will just cover the absolutely essential monthly expenses.  It makes sense if you're young and working part-time while living at home with parents, but don't make a career out of a job like that.

Is there anyway i can find or play this game without an android device?

What device do you use?  You could probably play it on a Blackberry that supports Android apps, but I don't think it's available on iOS.
