761  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 3X S7's hosted at toomim on: July 08, 2016, 08:59:17 AM
So hosting will be $128.70 per month and it will generate $111 per month in revenue after the halving? So like negative $17 per month. Or I'm I missing something here

This is a matter of opinion, I work it out to be costing 107.25 with a yeald of 207.06, but this if you pay for long hosting giving lowest rates and using allsocomp calculator.

are you aware that bitcoin is not stable price? in the years I have been mining I have paid more than the cost of a coin, but horded them till price rises then cash out.

This is quite a long debate your opening up as I believe mining is not profitable for day/week traders, I like to hoard coins and cash out when spikes.

but everyone has a different way of looking at and doing things.

762  Economy / Computer hardware / 3X S7's hosted at toomim (SOLD) on: July 07, 2016, 10:12:52 PM
now sold  Grin

Hiya guys, I have some units I need sold.

Please note, There will not be any hosting sold with these units as these units are being replaced with S9 arriving soon.

hosted at toomim at Washington DC

so either pay to have them shipped to you, or pay hosting. they need to go so I will entertain offers.

the miners to the best of my knowledge are as follows.

1) batch 1, Run sweet from day one, with PSU. Adv 4.587Th over 1 month
2) batch 8, runs nicely, slightly over clocked, with PSU, adv 5.024 over 1 month
3) batch 19, has one chip not reporting, nothing noticeable, does not come with PSU as I just bought a platt for it for $110. Adv 4.833 over 1 month

What say you? $1200 for all? theirs $160 of PSU there.

hosting prices vary as to the term you require, on a monthly it can be $95 Kwh, 6 months is (I think) $80Kwh, these units pull the normal 1.4-1.5Kwh per unit.

Thanks for looking.

Additional, I will accept most forms of payment (BTC/backs/WU etc..) but not reversible ones like PP thank you.

I am sorry you got such a small amount, If someone offered 100k sats I would have still bid higher.

dont worry, it's absolutely cool, I have since had quite a few "oh I missed this auction" PM's, I might do weekly spots in the future if there is enough interest.

As this was a low traffic site right now I was happy to fill the text space  Grin

anyway, your banner is now up and active, thanks so much  Cool

I bid 2001 satoshi
Now you know OP what happens when bid increase limit is not set.
I was going to bid a little more but was also afraid to be accused of spamming
in my signature campaign...
And biding against Mr funny 1 satoshi man Wink was kinda going the spammy path.
Maybe next month? tinny bit cleaver auction please.

sorry, but I am not responsible of what campaign you sign up too  Roll Eyes

But jesting aside, I really was interested in getting some real ad's moving on my site, I genuinely thought it would be a satoshi war starting out, but I will think again for next month

Nice to see there was some interest after all.

Regards.

also "open to offers" is a little open ended

It is, because the exchange rates are all over the place that if I leave prices in here they'll keep going in and out of flux. PM'ed.

deal done and paid up, looking forward to my new heat maker for the winter.

might be interested in S9, what batch is it? There have been alot of release problems so far with S9 so how long has it run for?

also "open to offers" is a little open ended, BTC has jumped around £200 from top to bottom recently, Their around $2100 new, with import duties, are you looking to make? get back inv or want to get into BTC before the halving?  Hit me with your best price I will consider it.

Thanks.
