761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 18, 2016, 05:35:19 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley
Both are risky but they differ in how to earn . Because gambling bigger than you losing than your winnings . The first trading because you just lose especially if you are new to trading you expect that, you will lose money at first but when you trade you have studied it carefully will easily earn just because you know how to trade and had profits . Gambling because if you have no luck where are you exhausted all your money .
I think gambling and trading are totally same and some months ago I used to have a different view and I used to think that trading is very profitable and blah blah but since the moment I have started to trade with alt coins I am only in loss and digging bigger hole than gambling.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: September 18, 2016, 05:31:58 AM
It is in nature of human beings to be greedy so I also am greedy as well. After some bad bets and loss I decide to not be greedy anymore and keep control on this but then again old routine over take this temporary habit. In gambling is said one thing that if you are not greedy you will never reach to make some significant amount of money. controlled gambling will keep you at limits always. I see greediness as good thing in gambling.
You are right that if we are not greedy then nothing can be achieved in life, I agree.
Because if we dont have any greed we will always be happy with what we have and hence never work hard.
While greed is good, we should not try to be too much greedy because then it acts as a negative aspect.
763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 18, 2016, 05:24:33 AM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

We should invest it for savings in the future. It is because it will increase the price value for sure a years from now. Just be patience to wait, lets hold our coins for awhile until such times come that it need to sell it.

That is the basic way. But still be careful with those online wallets. Pick one that is trusted by many. You dont want your hard earned coins just going to the wrong hands.
When you have to store the coins and not really use then then why even the need of a online wallet ? I mean you can easily keep the bitcoins in a offline address and print the private key this way you cannot loose the coins at all even if you forget everything, because you have the bitcoin's private key physically printed.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: September 17, 2016, 09:18:58 PM
Lol if he have spend enough time in reading the experiences of people on this forum then I am sure he will be alert about the scams and ponzi sites that are operating around.
The problem with many people here, they are not never remembering and applying others experience in their real time situations when they are encountering. I am the bad example for that, even I have read many gamblers experience about gambling and ponzi schemes, I have lost more than 0.1 BTC in many of similar sites, out of greedy.
Yes, this forum must be rich a sources of awareness, every bitcoiner must teach himself about how to avoid any potential scam. Unfortunately we are keep on seeing many people are going for trade without escrow or people are losing their valuable bitcoins into gambling sites etc something similar keep on happening around bitcoiners and for members of this forum, even though a similar experience had been discussed here so many times.
Yes, really pathetic. People are rushing towards earning bitcoin but never remembering the lessons that they are learning here. What is the use of working hard on earning bitcoin and losing it by not having enough knowledge about how to secure it. Worst decisions must be avoided from other experience.
Yes, securing your bitcoin is more important than earning it. If you are not good in saving your bitcoins safely then what is the use of earning it. Yes, you will earn it and you will lose it if you are not good in knowledge about possible scam attempts. I really appreciate this forum members for their effort about spreading awareness by having this kind of threads to show some people's mistake and what a lesson we could learn from it.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make some Bitcoins by leaving computer on ( Auto pilot ) on: September 17, 2016, 09:10:42 PM
I guess only with mining process, we will be able to make some bitcoin by leaving your computer switched on. But unfortunately mining is no more profitable for basic type of mining set ups. If you are having very big budget for this, you can buy ASICs and you will have automated earning of bitcoin by having your own mining farm.
766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: September 17, 2016, 08:55:49 PM
Basically it is to buy on the dips, and hold until btc reaches a good level to sell, but for that we must be attentive to news and monitoring the price frequently.

You are right, buying low selling high is just basic thing on trading since as a trade we commonly do that thing and no one would buy high sell low for sure they're just wasting off their money.as you said we must be attentive too to the news and must monitor the price so that we could sell or buy on the best possible entry point.
Yes, sticking with basics must be very important with the respect to trading. If we are very good with the strategy and following very basic aspects of trading, then getting success with the trading is highly possible. If we deviate from basic principles, then trading may get collapsed.
767  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 17, 2016, 08:24:03 PM
although bitcoin is anonymous payment system, but should not be used for the purposes of pornography. I say that because in order to stay awake bitcoin image

For me bitcoin is more then just a payment system, it's a currency that makes many other currencies obsolete. When it comes down to online currencies it is the best way to pay. Especially for online services like payment in the porn industry.
I really hate to spend my bitcoins for the purpose of porn. I wonder why people are spending money for porn whereas we are getting lots of free stuff. I agree, the quality and length may differ, but how long you are considering those?

I like to suggest, instead of wasting your bitcoins for porn, why not you secure your life by saving it.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: September 17, 2016, 08:01:31 PM
Well as more and more lay people are beginning to sue bitcoin it is getting more noticed that is for sure. I think as long as we have computers and internet, bitcoin is here to stay for the long haul. In the future, well only God knows really what will happen with it.
Future is always a mystery, there is no meaning in worrying about it. But bitcoin will exist to serve human as long as human and this Earth will survive.

Bitcoin is so strong with the respect to its encryption algorithm for staying safer. Hopefully, bitcoin will gather more strength to its core concepts to stay strong always.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to the high transaction fees at Bitcoin? on: September 17, 2016, 07:46:31 PM
In my view bitcoin transaction fees are not high. Approximately we just need to the only 0.05% as fee for the amount we are transacting. I just see another thread appreciating about bitcoin's lower transaction fees and here a thread for discussing about solution to high transaction fees.

Please remember I have participated on your yocoin campaign and made a good stay there till end of that campaign.

I am really sorry for wasting a spot there.
I also participated in Yocoin campaign. But due to my exams I could not find time to write and that too without any reward and got rejected here too.
But wasting a spot is not a good behavior, you should have informed Yahoo about your inability and must have left the campaign by making room for other members to participate.

Let us improve our posting quality and behaviors so that we can join signature campaigns.

775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 04, 2016, 11:01:07 AM
Bitcoin is not accepted in my country. Not more people are aware of it. I can't use it physically anywhere in my country, so I just convert to my local currency or I will purchase something online.
That's very saddening to hear that your country hasn't accepted bitcoins just yet but it's only a matter of time until people know about it. Maybe you can be one of the people who would publicize bitcoins or maybe ask some stores about it.
776  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: August 04, 2016, 10:34:04 AM
I am Getting Bitcoins From the Following Ways:-
1) I Mainly Earn Bitcoins From This Forum By Posting..
2) I Also Earn Some Decent amount Of Bitcoins By Promoting Some Bitcoin Faucets.....
3) Sometimes I Do Trading For Growing my Bitcoins.....
Aside from those 3 that you are doing, there are also other possible ways of getting bitcoins like

4) By gambling (especially sports betting as it has low risk if you have knowledge)
5) Offering services online / Selling goods for bitcoin(Most proven way of getting bitcoins) and many other kinds like freelancing jobs/services you can do.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: August 04, 2016, 07:58:30 AM
I was told by a former online casino employee. That most software comes with settings that whenever someone takes a bonus. The software allows the feel of winning to ensure play time. But after a certain point a new pay table is selected from the RNG and a losing streak begins. It doesn't matter what game you switch to.
Oh my god! May be you are true as I have seen my friend loosing continuously. Most of the casinos or even you can say all the casinos using these type of strategy to cheat people. The software programs are more advanced nowadays to work against the gamblers.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 03, 2016, 08:44:07 PM
Cash is good for day-to-day transactions while bitcoins is good for online transactions. Since we are all going cashless, people might start seeing the benefits of bitcoins... asides the fact that its price keeps increasing.
yes that is a fact. that in present time we need both the currencies, of is not so much convenience without the other, may be a time come when only one currency will be enough for us but in present time i think we cannot depend on single currency, because bitcoin is good for online buying or even more good for saving and investing but in local market in most of the place we cannot use bitcoin as it is not accepted in most of the areas so there we have to use the fiat currency.
Yes we cannot stop using either of them and both are equally important in their place. Without cash your real life stops while if you stop using bitcoins your virtual ideas, thoughts and all the things are stopped.
779  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: August 03, 2016, 08:25:45 PM
not really because still too early for all the businesses to accept bitcoin, but  I sell bitcoin very easy change to usd then to my local currency with a slightly high fee but still worth it though.

Right now, for us who live in a country where there is only few merchants that accept bitcoin, it is really worth it to change it to local currency so we can use it, it doesn't matter if there is an extra fee, the important thing is if we are in need, our bitcoin came in just right on time and of a great help to us.. We are still lucky..   Smiley
I think other than some European countries most of the countries are avoiding bitcoins for some reason. I guess still we need to wait a few years at least before we can have shops that accept bitcoins like a cafe coffee day. In countries like India people seem to love bitcoins though and soon may open such shops.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: August 03, 2016, 08:04:53 PM
Before going in to the gambling world, You must know what do to and what not to do.

Yes, I agree that gambling should be consider as a form of entertainment that one shouldn't gamble an amount they can't afford to lose. You must also know that generally the loss is much higher than profit.

Actually everyone who start gambling is considered a first timer.. Even if you are not a new gamblers and just trying out new gambling game, you will still be a first timer... At first if a gambler is not yet addicted, they are always careful about their bankroll, but as time pass they are going to go careless and recklessly betting lucky if they win and too bad if they lose, I guess that explains why in gambling every one looses in the long run..
We are only becoming addicted when we lose more than we win and that is because we are just human who are sometimes being enslave of our emotions that we can make a bad decision in gambling until we cannot control ourselves and will lose our precious money.
And that is the saddest reality because a gamblers with addiction needs to spend a lot of money to lose before he will realize that he is not doing the right thing in gambling, maybe because one is too desperate that is why he long for money in gambling.
Desperation is the right word yes I also think gamblers as they start gambling more and more become a lot desperate to win only because they know they lost a lot of money in past and hence they must win some. But if can understand a small thing that edge is always there against us, then maybe we stop gambling now.
