761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: August 09, 2018, 06:22:49 AM
well HODL is not just a word, it is an art Wink

it is not about that everyone should HODL but those newbies who have no idea how to  trade should HODL because not doing so means losing a lot of money. and most of the memes you see on the internet is focusing on this particular group of people. because not HODLing during these small ups and downs in a sideways market means losing money for them and it has happened so many times already. and they are increasing the volatility!
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTCOINS going red! on: August 08, 2018, 06:57:33 AM
your "wallet" would have lost that 10% sooner or later if you have altcoins in it because they are going down one way or another. bitcoin's drops only speeds up the process of altcoins getting dumped and going down, it is not the reason for it.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insurance is Important for Crypto Exchanges on: August 08, 2018, 06:24:49 AM
insurance companies don't make money by paying their customer when something goes wrong. instead they make money when they don't pay them and because of that they are doing all they can not to pay. in other words eve if an exchange were insured one day, that still wouldn't make it safe and i wouldn't say they "need it" because that wouldn't  change a thing in my opinion, they are still going to get hacked and we won't get our money back or they would still scam us and we still wouldn't get our money back.
in the end the customer (we as traders) are going to lose as long as we are using centralized exchanges whether they are insured or not.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead altcoins worth reviving. on: August 08, 2018, 06:14:21 AM
the "dead coins" didn't die in an accident like a car accident to take their lives suddenly and unexpectedly. they died because they were useless or in some cases they died because they had some serious bugs that were unsolvable. otherwise even the shittiest shitcoins stay alive as long as there is someone trading them. for example you ca go on Yobit and see at least a couple of hundreds of them being traded there that don't even have a blockchain anymore.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: August 08, 2018, 06:08:21 AM
nobody likes losing money and when the bag holders get dumped on they start creating imaginary people in their head to blame for the money that they lost so that they can ignore the fact that there is nobody to blame but themselves for bag holding something that they knew for sure is going to get dumped hard but they still didn't want to believe it.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. SEC postponed ETF until end of September. Bitcoin start dump. on: August 08, 2018, 05:59:29 AM
after the ETF "hype" nonsense bitcoin started having a small rise, it was never bullish. just as it is not bearish now that it has dropped from that rise. and it is not a "dump" this is just a market panic that was expected which has been the main reason why people haven't been buying bitcoin during that initial "hype" phase that i said. basically because they knew this would happen and newbies will panic for no reason.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone share your strategy about investing cryptocurrency? on: August 06, 2018, 07:27:19 AM
I don't really have confidence about bitcoin because I believe the upper limit of bitcoin will not be much higher.
what do you mean by "upper limit"? the total supply? if that is the case then you are wrong. the final supply is fixed at 21 million and that is a consensus rule which will never change.

Nework (NKC) is the first blcokchain project I have heard, that's why I choose to invest, but how to recognize a good project and how to choose a potential coin?
it seems like a completely random useless token that you saw in an advertisement randomly online and fell for it. i don't see any real potential in it.

Can anyone share your strategy about investing cryptocurrency?
the most important thing to remember is that you should never trust the things you read online from random people that are not known to you who are advertising some altcoin.
instead you should learn how the altcoin market works so that you can trade altcoins and make profit on your own.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was the cryptocurrency world wrong to trust big media/big investors? on: August 06, 2018, 07:08:56 AM
from what i see, nothing has really changed. before we had rarely good coins and lots of shitcoins and now we still have rarely good coins and lots of shitcoins. the only thing that has changed is that creating useless coins has become much easier with introduction of ICOs and they are scamming people a lot easier now by asking for money through ICO before they had to premine their shitcoin to get a lot of free money, now they are getting it for free but much easier and a lot more.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do the bitcoin dump is affecting the price of altcoins on: August 06, 2018, 06:57:32 AM
the funny part is no matter what happens to bitcoin it seems like altcoins are getting dumped hard. we saw a while ago that when bitcoin started rising from $6000 to $8000 altcoins were getting dumped still and some of them even  went down hard enough to gain the top dumped altcoin position of that day.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges not helping Bitcoin! on: August 06, 2018, 06:47:25 AM
it is not targeting any "audience" outside of those that are already in. so there is nothing negative about it in my opinion. for example a new exchange that is giving rewards to the top traders will get the traders that have already been trading a lot in another altcoin exchange. not someone from outside that never knew what altcoins are. look at Binance for example. it got all the volume from the scammy Bittrex and terrible Poloniex and became number 1.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like Bitcoin is a news right now. on: August 06, 2018, 06:39:25 AM
More and more people are being curious about how the extent of bitcoin can further lengthen their way of living into luxury and glamour, which is actually making it famous right now.

yeah unfortunately a lot of idiots have been thinking of bitcoin as a way of becoming rich over night and having a "glamorous life" because of it.
but the thing is, all these people would just come in, make mistakes, fall for the FUD and lose a lot of money and go away regretting their decisions and then later on regretting them more as they see bitcoin price going up a lot more after they sold...

hopefully soon we can have less of these kind of people...
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Breaking] World’s Biggest Stock Exchange Operator is Launching a Bitcoin Market on: August 06, 2018, 06:34:06 AM
the name of it is pretty weird but this was a great news and it could have even been a big bullish signal in my opinion but i still can not figure out why the price is not rising as it should.

is it the fear of ETF?
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is waiting for what? on: August 04, 2018, 07:50:49 AM
it is not waiting for anything. this is just a perfectly natural and well needed dump that is still ongoing.

the ETH whales have been trying so hard day and night to prevent the crash from happening. they even placed huge buy walls to prevent the crash from happening but it was inevitable and still happened.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin ETF Will Pass This Year" or not? on: August 04, 2018, 07:39:50 AM
BTC is decentralized. BTC doesnt need ETFs. ETF will only lead BTC to centralization. A lot of people just don't get it.

true, true, false, true !

ETF is not going to make bitcoin centralized. it will bring in a centralized big entity that will use bitcoin in a centralized way. imagine back in 2010ish when centralized exchanges were created. they didn't make bitcoin centralized they just created a centralized service on top of a decentralized network.
775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Analysis 1st August 2018 | Going Bullish Or Bearish? on: August 04, 2018, 07:29:37 AM
neither bullish nor bearish. we are sluggish Cheesy

that they are quickly going to make some money, if the ETF was approved by the SEC and when that did not happen, they pulled their investment, before the correction got momentum. I say good riddance, because we do not need a bunch of short term speculators in this market.  Angry

the short term speculators aren't going to go away just because of a drop. they pull out to put it back in a little later when the price reached the bottom. that is why they are called short term speculators!
if someone pulls out and goes away then they weren't investors, nor speculators short or otherwise. they instead were gamblers.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll reveals 2% of American investors own Bitcoin on: August 04, 2018, 07:23:01 AM
i don't know why so many people in this topic and the duplicates of it are claiming this to be "shocking"! 2% may be a little off the market but it still is a pretty good estimate and lets not forget that the price rise (or more accurately the shoot up to the moon) brought in a lot of investors and this poll is only asking "investors" not regular people.
if it did ask regular people then the percentage would have been less than 0.5%
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do if my bitcoin has been stolen, and where should i complain ? on: August 04, 2018, 07:15:51 AM
your question is wrong.
your bitcoin was not stolen and your address/wallet was not hacked, instead your account was hacked and you lost IOUs that this particular exchange had given you instead of your bitcoins.

and in case that your exchange account is hacked it depends on whose fault was it. if it was your fault (like having weak password, having malware,...) then there is nothing anybody can or will do for you. but if it was the exchange fault (like having weak security, leaking your information, having their site/database hacked,...) then the exchange should compensate your losses. whether they will do it or not depends on the exchange and their honesty...
778  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 04, 2018, 07:09:35 AM
as a BitcoinHodler i obviously prefer increasing my bitcoin amount and that is mainly because i know the true potential of bitcoin and the value that it can have in the future so i want to have as much bitcoin as i can before that day comes.
additionally it is because i don't own that much bitcoin to consider it a high risk so i still have more way to go.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it time to start buying Bitcoin again? on: August 03, 2018, 01:57:46 PM
it is always a good time to buy bitcoin no matter what. i can go as far as saying it was a good time to  buy bitcoin even when the price was at $20k because in a  couple of years when price reaches new highs and is above $100k it doesn't really matter much when you bought. of course you always aim for the lowest possible price you can buy bitcoin at but you are not going to always get what you want.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Volume Spike Anomaly on: August 03, 2018, 01:50:08 PM
since this picture that you have posted is from coinmarketcap.com instead of being from an exchange then there is a good chance that it is either a bug in their system or simply one of the exchanges they are listing have been reporting huge fake volume.

but also at the same time when looking at the chart, there was a big dump happening which means a big volume changed hands. the price didn't go down that much because the whales have been putting up fake buy walls to prevent the crash but they eventually failed and price did crash.
