761  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice on getting merits on: October 15, 2023, 07:59:05 AM
Hi guys, I want to ask some tips on getting some merits. I somehow feel jealous when I see other full members having tons of it even if they're just new to the forum. I know that there are some ways to earn it like being active in your local board, engaging in the gambling threads talking about particular sports, create an informational thread, or have some deep knowledge about bitcoin's technical like block size, hash rate, etc. And that's my concern, I am not good with any of those stuffs. I am not a sports enthusiasts nor good in bitcoin technical. Our local board is not that active also compared to others where I see some members' their main merit source.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking my time to read my post. Cheers!  Smiley

You should always post according to the questions asked and you should always impress other people with your answers i.e. good posts and better posts are always taken note of. You can also pay some users the amount they require some time, for example, if a user needs 10$ in Tron and he says it will give you back in USDT, then you should make a post about it with the transaction hash, and also that should be look whether it is some real user or if a person is scamming. So, in this way, you should always be aware of scams. Another way of earning merit is to write from yourself, don't try to copy or change paraphrase, etc., in this way your account may be banned and you will be not allowed to post again. Taking care of these factors your post should be genuine.

Sometimes its hard its frustrating for other for not getting those merits but if they just post something have sense to read then provably they will get that since there are people actively giving merits to the post they like to read.

Also they also need to participate on several forum events since to many people give them some merits for appreciation of their task done for said threads. There are also generous members posting to give merits to review their quality post so they should follow the rules set by these user so that they will be notice and review if they are eligible to receive the merits coming from those guys.

But overall we shouldn't stress ourselves about getting merits since this is not everything in this forum since what's more important is the knowledge you can acquire and what you can share to other people.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: October 15, 2023, 06:41:40 AM
One of the solutions which is recommended by most gamblers on this forum for gambling addiction is "Therapy" . Professional help in the form of therapy. It is good and very effective but how many persons can actually afford it? There is a fee for each session that lasts for a duration of 60minutes. And there are more than one session. Therapy for gambling addiction is expensive. How can those who are unemployed afford it? How about the college student? Or the person receiving minimum wage. What are the other low cost but very effective solutions to gambling addiction. And typically how long will it take before the addict starts to feel more in control and less withdrawal symptoms?
Will totally appreciate your responses. Thanks.

Just remember that something might work for you or other person might not really effective to other that's why its hard to say its effective since there are people have different approach to combat addiction. But the least those people can do is to seek help to their family since they are the one who can really help you especially giving some good advice and do possible counter measure to help us out to get away on what heavily bothering us. We just need to be cooperative and accept all of this since if we are still denial about what issue we are facing on then their approach to help us might not be effective to us.

Either low cost or need a lot of money for therapy then all of it is fine since it will all depends on the person what is effective method for him, since the most important thing here is they can escape to this situation and find peace on their minds.
763  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 Welcome Package - #1 Social Casino - $15,000 Weekly Race 🤑 on: October 14, 2023, 01:39:04 PM
Yes, Indonesia does prohibit gambling, but there are many active gamblers in our country. Of course this happens because it is easy to access online gambling services. Even though the government restricts access to gambling sites, we can use VPN. Of course, we choose a gambling site that allows VPN use and avoids KYC

Sometimes countries that prohibit gambling actually have lots of gamblers, because human nature is curious. The more forbidden it is, the more curious it becomes. Cheesy
It's very hard to find casino that accepts VPN and doesn't ask for KYC but it's even harder or almost impossible to find a casino that allows VPN and doesn't ask you for KYC documents even when you win a lot, that's the problem. If you are a small gambler and bet some bucks with no intention of winning a jackpot, then you can gamble on almost any website with VPN because you know, in case they ask for KYC, you are able to afford to lose your balance but the problem is, most of these gamblers are there for a jackpot.

Most casino accepts the use of VPN on their casino. The use of it to bypass country restrictions is what being forbidden by most of the casino when they mention VPN on their ToS. I use VPN regularly but using my own country IP since I have a default VPN open whenever I open my device for my privacy on searching web.

On his case, No casino will accept him even if the casino allows VPN since it’s for the purpose of bypassing their country restrictions about online gambling.

That's the reason why its better ask question to the right representative rather than assuming that its alright to use that since they are fine with VPN since country restrictions is one important matter that need to consider and if they try to bypass the restriction just to access the site then expect that they can get a huge problem with casino since for sure that they block their account due to restrictions issues. Its not good to force ourselves to play on any casino especially if they have rules set and for those gambler better to read the rules so that they would know if there country is listed there so they can't proceed and find another casino that doesn't implement that and they can play without worrying anything like this issues.

Its good that he could learn from the topic discuss here or even on outside of this thread since it can save them to avoid issues in future.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 14, 2023, 12:37:53 PM
I don't keep a tab on when my luck comes visiting, and I also don't keep a record of my losses, to me this matters only to those who are using gambling as a mean source of income, such people created a career off gambling and that's all they do all day, I don't want to become someone like this, so tell me why keep a tab on when you normally win? I use small money to gamble and that's when I have that small money to lose will I gamble with it, if not I won't mind doing something else with the money.

Sometimes I feel lucky deep down in me and I gamble, then the opposite happens, when you lose is when you will realize that luck isn't on your side, it's better to play wisely with your hard earned money, I would rather buy some Bitcoin and hold for a long time damn losing that weekly money to gambling, so therefor I am not a gambler who gambles every time to time.

Some people will lie about how much lucky they get when gambling, it's all for talking sake but if you look at their gambling history you will find out that they have been lying all along, do not get triggered by other gamblers' tongues, gambling is about luck and don't let others confuse you otherwise.

But in any case though, luck comes very seldom, that's why when it comes we should take advantage of it, but we should still be in control. Just like the last time I played, I feel that I'm blessed and lucky because I won big. But at the back of my mind, I'm thinking that it can change in just a matter of minutes and then I might not control myself and lose the money that I already won. So I did get out immediately and never come back to play that day because I was afraid that I will give back the money that I won already. So again, when it come it will pour but don't ever think that it will not end. So just take advantage of it but then have the self control when to stop and quit.

I don't know if its just me I never experience to win huge on lottery, slots or any games that offers huge jackpot price that's why sometimes I think I'm not lucky on a game of chance since I never encounter any huge win for years of betting. But there are times that I win small amounts but it always been eaten up once I'm trying to bet again for another round especially the jackpot prize becoming more bigger.

What you do about quitting immediately is really good action to do since if I also got the same luck to win huge I will quit immediately and try to enjoy the amount what I earn. And maybe I will rest for a week or months so that no huge funds will be at lost again and I can fully enjoy the winnings I get from casino or national lottery. Lets just hope that huge luck will came so that we could experience to know on how far we can go and if we can escape some temptations that might come up especially if we have huge money on hand.

766  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 13, 2023, 03:26:10 PM
How is 1xbet linked with 1xbit is what I sincerely want to know.
from what I remember, 1xbet and 1xbit are owned by the same parent company called 1x Corp N.V, though in recent times after they came back to the forum again and announced that they want to clean their reputation, they claim that they are in new management and are not connected to 1xbet or 1x Corp N.V, I am not sure how truthful that information is, but it is what I remember reading when forum members are discussing 1xbit's return to the forum and whether 1xbit and 1xbet are connected.
1xbit is the scam domain and I have witnessed their campaign in the forum but I do not know about 1xbet in the forum and I don't also know if they ran campaign in the forum. But outside the forum I have seen 1xbet in the internet and also see celebrities promoting it . But I have also not read any official statement by 1xbet stating that they are not connected to 1xbit in any way.
For them keeping mute may mean that they are connected to 1xbit or they are not aware that there is a scam casino sharing similar domain with them. If there is a place 1xbet wrote a disclaimer, can someone point me to it?
Well, 1xbit is actually one of the most popular casino when they were still running their marketing and promotions, there is no way 1xbet will come out to tell us that they have never heard of 1xbit or claim that they do not know that people accusing them of having a link with 1xbit.
And for them not coming out to disprove their having a link with 1xbit, they also have never also approved having link with 1xbit, so I personally think that they purposely chose to be quiet about the whole thing since it doesn't affect their business.

And to also clear your doubt, I don't think 1xbet has ever had any form of promotion on this forum, if they ever did, I believe they would have an Ann thread on this board. So for the fact that they do not have one, it simply means that they have never had any kind of promotion here. This is if they even know that a forum like this exist.

But they became worse when a lot of accusation show up and they didn't manage to solve those issues that's why many people accuse them as scam casino. If they could just solve those issues one by one then show some proof that they always take care of their players then provably they are still actively competing with those reputable casino in this forum. But they choose to be hated by many forum users here that's why any new marketing launched will not get any good result since their reputation is really bad and many people didn't forget about their past and always call them as scam casino that newbies should avoid. I'm sure if new gambler will come on this thread for sure they get disappointed on peoples review of their casino and avoid.

Currently they don't have any running promotion since maybe they already feel that running a campaign doesn't give any positive result to them since the community still avoid and they are just wasting a lot of money for running some ads here.
767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I got from my Friend about Bitcoin on: October 13, 2023, 01:09:25 PM

great that his friend suggested to join this forum and not force him to learn things from him. just roaming around and educating yourself about this market, will assist him on what decisions he needs to make. he doesn't need to purchase btc on his first week or couple of weeks knowing about this market. but if he ever buy some sats, better try it with small funds first and see where it leads him as he navigates the world of crypto.
Yes that's true compared to learning from his friend and I think hus friend won't even taught him all she knows. Anyway, his friend didn't do it and suggested to join this forum and that means OP will find the information himself instead of just taking information from his friend although there's nothing wrong with asking information or knowledge from a friend or someone but if you do it all of the time or most of the time then that person will become lazy to do his/her own research. In short, that person will become dependent to someone.

Not everyone has time to teach him all she/he want to know and its already good that he know the basic things since he already get some idea about bitcoin and where he can use this coin. Also good that he came to this forum since there's a lot of guys can answer his question if he post something that bother his mind and want to know certain opinion of the people. Now its up for him if he pursue it since not everyone can really handle the pressure since starting up is very hard process for a newbie. Plus they need to deal with their investment and at earliest part of their investment they are prone to lose their money that's why they need to do a self research regarding on everything they want to learn since sometimes your own research is more important rather than those suggestion given by other people.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrency. on: October 13, 2023, 09:50:33 AM
I've come to realise that many people still don't understand that there are other cryptocurrencies apart from the bitcoin, yes the bitcoin is considered a cryptocurrency but they're two things altogether, bitcoin is the supreme digital currency and all digital currencies around the world are known as cryptocurrency, it is an form of currency be it digitally or virtually that uses cryptography to secure it's transactions, whereas bitcoin uses a decentralized ledger called the blockchain to maintain and secure a transparent record of transactions.

Let me bring it to layman's term for people to understand better, in a society there's a family and I'll use the family to represent cryptocurrency now, the family has a head and that is the father which I'll use to represent bitcoin, now inside that family there are other members like the mother, sister, brother  which forms the family, that's how their are other digital currencies that makes up the cryptocurrency as well, now you can say the father is a member and head  of the family but can't say the father and family are same thing, same way as saying bitcoin is the head and supreme cryptocurrency but can't say bitcoin and cryptocurrency is same thing, I hope these illustrations will help you understand my explanations better, also there other cryptocurrencies like etherium, bnb, cardano, polkadot etc.

Just don't get confuse about other technical words regarding to that since bitcoin is also a crypto and this is the most strongest adopted coin among any other listed on the market. But it also need those altcoin so that it can have healthy conversion especially if we want to earn some profits for exchanging it. But since you came up with those points then its still good that you correlate those things and think about such things. But try to dig more deeper important information since its more helpful for you if you search the technicalities of bitcoins and other altcoins since it can make you earn good profits. Some may not buy those fancy wordings you use but at least you came up with some topic that somehow cool to discuss since some newbie might find the topic you created interesting.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t push playing more on: October 13, 2023, 08:26:57 AM
Today I encountered again my biggest nemesis on gambling which is being stuck on my gambling progress. I’ve gambling for multiple days in a row with just having a breakeven on my total bankroll. This due to the game doesn’t gave me any long winning streak and only just more losses. The only thing that makes me keep up on the breakeven side is the increased on wager to recover my losses but my gambling result is literally 1 win to 3 or more losses ratio. This is how bad my overall game.

The only good news is this time I remember how this weakness of mine always makes me lose in the past so I stop already gambling and take a break. This is what I’m trying to share here. If you really feel that your gambling doesn’t want to make you move forward by having decent profit and just giving you a hard time then don’t hesitate to quit! Don’t push forward while you are already playing uncomfortably because this will just make you bet recklessly.

Have a break and just gamble newt week or month because a lucky game will make you win easily and not with a very hard to win winning condition.

That is the enemy of most gamblers so you are not alone. When you start gambling and you are in the beginning stages of it you have enough bankroll to not care much but as you progress your session you realize that this is a losing session,no game seems to be paying and it is exactly here where it is not difficult but extremely difficult to quit and call it a day. This is a massive error most of us make and it is exactly here that when we continue to keep playing under these circumstances chances are high that we will lose it all and risk to deposit more to lose it too chasing our loses.Stop at such point,it is vital.

Feeling excited on each result shown is somehow can make us decide to extend our game time that's why sometimes its hard to quit especially if we enjoy to much playing on those games we currently played. That's why sometimes its hard for us to take some win after the end of the game since we always caught up on heavy losses for deciding to stay long on gambling and its late for us to realize that we did a wrong decision since instead we win the casino got recover all of it then left of nothing. That's why maybe next time before deciding to extend or deposit for more we should think about if its still right for us to continue since sometimes we are doing some risky decision because we want to win more or recover those we lose on certain times, that's why I realize that its better to think smart and quit when we are still in good shape since its stressful to quit when we already lose everything.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 12, 2023, 11:54:59 PM
There are so many folks who have not yet gotten into bitcoin, so for sure making it through a full cycle is nearly putting you at OG status... give it another 10 years, and you will likely really be starting to feel that you have been a bitcoiner for like forever, especially since I suspect that we may well still be having half or more of the population without any or hardly any exposure to BTC... and sure it is hard to say what the level of BTC's adoption will be in the next 10 years - perhaps in the 10% to 20% range?  That would be bullish.. ...

I would like to be surprised with higher levels of adoption.. and so many crazy things could end up happening in the next 10 years.. and I hate having doom and gloom thoughts.. so maybe it is just easier taking one day (step) at a time.

Have you reached your BTC accumulation goal, then if not keep accumulating.

If you are in your maintenance stage, you might be accumulating and liquidating.. so attempting to keep some kind of a meaningful balance.. not easy with such a volatile asset.. even when some of us feel that we have decent systems in place.. we still might have some questions regarding how to manage/maintain it.

As I'm here for the rest of my life I will keep counting on Bitcoin, In the coming cycle I'm sure around 20% to 30% population is gonna recognize Bitcoin as their priority.

Bitcoin accumulation goal, you mean that amount well for now I am not sure about what should be the specific number you can say untill now it's X, but I'm on the way.

Hmm, it's hard to say but with the passage of time my physiology about Bitcoin and the market is much more mature now, so most of the time I can say I've done well in handling the fear & FOMO.

All of us would provably stay here because we already know the potential of bitcoin and high chance that we can get more better by having bitcoin then use it for investment and other more. For sure in future many people will notice it especially that bitcoin is gaining more popularity due to recent news that it gaining a lot of hypes due to its potential profit for investments, for sure this upcoming bull run can catch many peoples attention maybe they join and became accumulator to test the market.

That's why i asked ledger to delete my personal data from their servers immediately after delivery. I couldn't believe they had customer data hacked off their webshop server. What a no-go. It's impossible to compare this case to paper wallet security. A security device shouldn't get bricked too easily, imo.
I don't consider ledger products as perfect or even close, but they had the best suited and available ones at the time i decided to use a hardware wallet.

It dumbfounds me to believe anyone can trust ledger after this but then again I could never understand anyone ever adding trust into a specifically designed trustless system in the first place.

legder is the worst... no bitcoiner should buy their product imo

Its just a waste of money lol  Cheesy

How do hackers know who to send messages to?

Quote
Hong Kong police warned users of the scam in an Oct. 9 post to its Facebook page dubbed “CyberDefender.”

“Recently, fraudsters posing as Binance sent text messages claiming that users must click the link in the message to verify their identity details before a deadline, otherwise their account would be deactivated.”

Is the message randomly sent to people? I think the hackers target Hong Kong Binance users and that can only be from data breach or insider work.

Quote
According to the post, the phishing scheme has seen 11 Hong Kong-based Binance customers report combined losses of more than $446,000 (3.5 million Hong Kong dollars) in the last two weeks.

If it is someone like me, this is easily avoidable, but what if it gets to the hacker's selling peoples data to thieves and which can lead to physical robbery and attack.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/hong-kong-binance-users-phishing-scam-jpex-crypto-scandal

Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless

But what can we do with it? Binance or any other top exchange require KYC before using their service and we cannot do anything but to provide since this is the requirement that needed to submit before we can trade our coins there. Although its really risk is there we just need to be aware that certain like what you mentioned exist and we should never trust anyone especially those people sending random links and ignore them. Also we should always verify the messages we receive especially if they ask us to click the link and sign up something like our information or anything.

Fraudster right now find multiple ways to deceive people so we just need to be careful regarding on their possible attacks done and we should always put on our minds that never try to open anything unknown to us since this will totally put our life or holdings at huge risk to get hacked by criminals.

The competition became more tighter to many good artist show some skills and became more competitive since they see a lot of artist now is improving .
HAHA!! Exactly what I thought right now.

Other members who have always participated in monthly art contests, especially in the digital category, have improved a LOT! Seriously, they've become more meticulous, adding intricate details to their artworks. The story of their concept has improved, as well as their choice of colors and the proportionality of Mr. Roo and other fancy add-on characters!

It makes me wonder how I can keep up with these people when I get busy with my day job. You see, creating artworks during school hours is much easier than in the office.

That the reason why its hard to speculate on who will win each round since artist became more better. Unlike before that its little like we have idea on who might gonna win this round since all of the art you submit on the contest is really a winning piece. But now to many people choose to upgrade their skills and became more competitive that's why for sure it gives headache for the judges of this contest to select on who will be the winners of the current round.

For so many time you have been declared as a winner in roobet art contest for sure you have an idea on how to deal with those competitive guys and you need to watch their arts submitted so that you can do a counter action and create good piece than them. I know that its not hard for you can keep up with those guys since I'm sure that your talent to create good art is already gives you huge advantage and you just need time to think about good concept on your next art piece.

The concept of those services whose objective is to provide a place to find reliable reviews may have worked in previous days, but nowadays manipulating those reviews and shilling is a whole underground industry run for and by shady people. The only way I see a review webpage having some reliability would be if they somehow implemented Your your Client policies, to try to only publish reviews from actual users of those services.

However, obviously those KYC processes will likely turn away people who just wish to share their own personal experience with one or two products. The best way to stay save while choosing a casino or any service which deal with money is to ask for advice in other places.
Nowadays it is almost impossible to rely on any type of review as almost all the review site is full of fake reviews. So, I do not rely on any review site regarding gambling. Regarding gambling, I only rely on the reviews/feedback/comments on Bitcoin talk org. It is easy to know from the forum about the site.

Well, it is easier to rely on reviews and opinion from people here, since we have a pretty established reputation system, which helps to consider or completely cross out opinions. Even though nowadays it is almost impossible to trust classic review sites, I believe there are chances for those platforms to redeem themselves by enforcing some kind of policy and system similar to what we got here in Bitcointalk.

It could be something like a required linking between one's personal social media or even BTT account, so those with a reputation get more attention or are highlighted, while newbie accounts or bots do not get as much weight on reviews, as the former ones.

All post coming from reputable people are valid reviews that's why they can rely on the statement provided by these people since for sure they already try to experience the service given by this casino to them. And we cannot see any biases since they don't have anything to protect that's why its good for many newbies to come up in this forum if they want to seek valid reviews so that they can be saved for any future risk that can possibly bring on engaging on this kind of shady casino.

I personally point out this forum to person which I meet up online if they want to get more information about crypto and casino review since from here we can really help those people to know which of those platforms are reputable and which one are needed to avoid since there are post review on their threads stating about their service rendered to the people used their sites.

There are so many reviewing sites open in the market but we don't actually know if we can get a valid review there since we can see those bad casino still good ratings and that is really awful to see.

There's risk involved in all of man's endeavors, not just related to trading.
But I quite agree with you that you need knowledge before getting involved in trading. Moreso, you also need to trade with what you can afford to lose, because the market can turn south.
This is a must always, trading already involves money, it's not just a game where you can just test something or do some plays.
For me, before we start trading, we must say and think first. Make sure you know what are you doing because whenever you made some mistake in trading, you can't get your money back anymore.

Aside from doing some actions that we think a good option to do we should better check out the latest happening or condition of the market so that we can determine if its good to trade or when should we enter and secure our profit since its will be bad for us if we only think about such possible strategy that we can use on our current trades. To many incident happen while we are away so we should know the latest before taking some decisions since it can help us a lot especially if we are engaging on daily trading or short trades. The risk is so high that's why we need to be more resourceful before starting up so we can maximize the risk and can potentially gain from current coins that we wish to acquire.

Although its hard to execute all of it but if we are eager to learn new things on trading for sure we will get use to it and proper researching will be part on our trades then it can make our decision making more better. To many technicalities needed to learn that's why many lost because they want to have a shortcut learnings and they failed to know how to do some good counter measure if some events didn't meet on their expectations.

We can’t prevent these hacks. Hackers are everywhere and they try their best to hack the server and get the necessary details and the coins. What we can do is that choose the best platform, which guarantees and have strong security system. I know each and every platform has flaws in it, but why not we choose the old and trustworthy platforms? I know these new platforms provide more beneficial deals, but lacks in security. Hence this is just another lesson which we need to learn and be more cautious with our funds.
The best and most secured bet for an investors is to get their coins off the exchange and just like I pointed out in my earlier comment,  I do far better to withdraw all your balance from any exchange platform that you use to buy them and never get involved I third party asset holding,  or take part in all the staking and other investment interest projects that make you to give out your asset to any platform.

Some time trust can fall because even even if those plartfirmydont scam you in the form of an exit scam,  the exchange can possibly get hacked along the line,  so users need to be careful.

Actually this is not necessary action that needed to do since as long as we know how to deal with the risk and never do any extra curricular activities that can possibly harm our accounts then I think for me we are fine with that. We should always be aware that issues like this exist that's why for our selves we should apply some good actions to make our accounts safe and always use dummy wallets for the task needed to be done on some airdrop platform so that if same issue about hackings will happen we are not badly affected with it.

Its not good to fully trust them because they became a big platform since we already prove that none of them is safe and we just need to know on how to deal with the risk that possible to happen on this platforms since for sure one of these days they will be the target of attacks since this hackers know that they can get something with the platform especially the datas of users stored there.

How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

Because the only place this makes a bit sense is the skills base niche like forex trading or crypto trading, how can gambling/gambler be financed?

Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?

Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?

Is anyone doing this on here?

Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?

Basically I will decline his offer in financing him for the sake of his portion of winning. Even how much he try to convince me to invest in him, even if he show a winning streak, I will say No. it's just too risky and for me it's not right to ask someone to support his gambling vice. If he is confident with his gambling skills, why is he asking for someone to finance him? If he is a friend, the maximum thing I can do is to stop him from his action because it can put his life in danger given that he is collecting money from others and putting it on a very risky way of earning, once he failed to do his promise, there's a chance that the financers might do something to him.

Rather not a good idea to accept since imagine the huge risk brought up to the lender since we don't know if the person who borrow will really pay if he lose the money he lend to us. That's why its really better to decline such offers so that we will not get hurt if someone will default the payments to us. Its more better that they know we are not accepting such offers so we cannot get bothered by dubious offers telling that we can guarantee a win if we finance their gambling activities. We see a lot of story like this but end up so unfortunate to the part of financers or investors since those people gone when bad things happen and they struggle to locate those guys for possible recovery of the funds they release for supposed to be profit earning schemes.

We shouid learn from unfortunate experience and we should turn down those risky request and ignore the thoughts that we can earn if we ride on their skills.

I do not know whether the problem is that the forum is difficult to find good topics, or that beginners today are more keen on education and searching for sources, but the best advice you can learn is how to search properly in the forum and on Google. If you learn that, then you will find that 90% of the questions What concerns you has already been answered, and the 10% you can state here.
Learning this will open the door for you to thousands of topics similar to ours that you are looking for.

I never think about its hard to find good topics here in forum since this forum is so simple and newbie can easily search those  good topics if they just go on the board where the topic he's searching on has been discuss by people. But its just some newbie doesn't like to spend much time to do some research that's why for them its difficult to learn about bitcoin since they want an easy one for their selves then automatically they can start earning bitcoin as soon as they can. This is not good action that's why many of them fall on wrong information so for them not to face in such situations its really better for them to start researching many information as they can so that they can fully understand on how those information they want to understand works and what are important things for them to avoid. If he also do research for sure he will never create this thread but rather reading those past topics created by other newbie.

However, the return if you win is way more than what it usually worths, so putting that time for either more than what it worths or nothing is a type of gambling you are doing so to speak and should be considered relevant to the business.
As an artist you feel happy if you work is considered by the team giving you rewards for the same but definitely I would say the quality of artworks has really gone up in all those years with this new category based contest from past few one's is really helping to gather more talented people among us.So winning is separate part but we should be creative and put our best efforts.
Being a participants is already a Win for a true artist because they are just sharing their work of art no matte if will be awarded or not.
the award is just a Bonus I believe they are more happy if being recognized about their artworks.
I am looking for more great art presented this October and hope that there will be more than this september .

You don't seem to understand how artists pit their prestige in art contests with various kinds of creativity, awards are a form of respect for their art, who says an artist only shares in contests without caring about awards that shape his reputation for the better.

Maybe for some people dabbling in contest art is a great thing, but for true artists who have popularity it will be a different view, they are not just experimenting like beginners.  IMO

I think if a true artist just wants to share their art, they don't need to do it in a contest.

Maybe we can only see that for artist who doesn't put any effort on their created arts then submit then hope that their creation will get some attention just for clout. But in Roobet art contest we can't really see something like rushed piece done, since all of the artist exerts a lot of efforts for their art created so that they can submit a competitive one that can possibly call out their name as one of the winner of the current round.

For sure irrelevant artist will not get notice but for those other who create better artworks they will get a merit a sign of recognition of other user that they appreciate the art created by that artist. And for sure that the artist receive that will also get satisfied and happy even if they didn't win in the contest since they see that someone still got impress to their creation and will do better more to increase their chances to win on for second or their future participations.

The competition became more tighter to many good artist show some skills and became more competitive since they see a lot of artist now is improving .

Bitcoin See Declines as Crypto Market Reacts to Ongoing War.

We cannot point out that this small decline is due to market reaction due to war. The movement doesn't really have any relation to anything as we don't see any big fuds regarding about the war and its effect to crypto.

Maybe you need to relax with that and since in short time span it recover the current hype is much stronger than current war issues so relax then believe that bitcoin will pump soon.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: Increase in stable coins adoption might just be the key to crpyto dominance. on: October 09, 2023, 01:12:46 PM
Would be ironic if cryptocurrency dominance is led and caused by stablecoins. As others already suggest, this is misleading when we try to compare card network settlement rate with stablecoins volume and transaction rate since the metrics are somewhat unclear.

However, we must note that indeed stablecoins do offer more flexibility and transparency, for example, the fact many people can easily exposed to them and utilise them directly is convenient. In some countries where you said it developed one, this exposure surely makes the alternative payment/currency within the market viable to be used. But, cryptocurrency dominance isn't likely to be specifically caused by significant stablecoins adoptions.

Maybe they only think about more safer option to choose for since price cannot possibly go down since they only know that price of this coins is stable and they are not afraid to let it rot on their wallets. But they forget the certain aspect on why cryptocurrency became famous and one reason for that is due to its volatility. Many people love to see that since its more profitable than any other asset. So if they choose stable coins over than that for sure they cannot enjoy crypto and other people might choose fiat since its more convenient to use.

I like the current state of stable coin and I think there's nothing to change with it as I don't really trust them since they could still go down if they are affected on some big issues that can question there existence especially if government will take a look at them and declare them as illegal.
