Look's like a dual miner is possible on NVIDIA as well. I have 1GHASH  2GHASH of blakecoin for free while mining etherum. (980ti). Probobly higher rates with more tweaking. In Blakecoin only mode  I get 5GHASH.
I should wrap it up in a 2% miner like claymore. And add some other algos as well. Skein, vcash, pentablake, keccak.

Who is interested?

yup ...

interested in a dual miner ...

}

right, scrypt is our default. you can switch it by using the "algo" variable in your VERGE.conf file.

algo=groestl
algo=lyra

should there be some sort of documentation regarding these special settings? ...

would be great if there was some refernce to this - as this is the first ive seen it ...

just so we know what the right commands are ... ie - lyra? ... or is it lyra2rev2? ...

someone could help me install the wallet on Linux and mine.

Do you want to solo mine? Have you ever compiled a wallet on linux before?

Here is what you need to do:

Open a terminal and first install the dependencies:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libboost-all-dev libdb5.1 libdb5.1-dev libdb5.1++-dev libtool git ntp make g++ gcc autoconf cpp ngrep iftop sysstat autotools-dev pkg-config libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libqrencode-dev

Then clone the git repo and compile the wallet:

Code:
git clone https://github.com/Nevacoin/nevacoin.git && cd nevacoin && qmake && make

If you just copy and paste the commands above you should have no problems. In the end you will have "nevacoin-qt" in the nevacoin folder, just dubble click it and it will run the wallet.

If you have any issues you can PM me.

thats IF you have a debian based system - like ubuntu ...

redhat based systems - like fedora or centos - are much more difficult ... believe me - i build these wallets on my fedora 23 x64 systems ...

in any case - i will compile and test the new code soon @krile .. im very ill at the moment and it seems to be getting worse - so ill only pop in the office when im able - as ive been having a LOT of staking rejects in my wallet ... hopefully monday ill be well enough to work through the day ...

your philosiphy and mine are very similar ( as ive been the same with development for granite and now ozziecoin ( just recently took over - or adopted ) ) ... slow and steady ...

tanx for keeping at it mate ...

Mostly NVIDIA maxwell cards but I have 12 r9 NANO's, 12 380x and some old 280x and 7970 cards as well. T
The Nano's are amazing, but too expensive.

yup - all good ...

i think with a selection as broad as that - all manner of mining and setups can be done ... that can only be a good thing ...

but the question i raised earlier - is the ultimate miner goign to be released soon mate? ...

For me, PoS seems to be working ok.

I mainly use my Linux wallet for PoS, it does not fail PoS about never, but my windows wallet seems to have sometimes some generated but not accepted.

Maybe Linux wallet does not just show them but i follow from block explorer that it has lots of good PoS stakes.

Anyway i am getting good PoS results, FYI..

26 connections in my windows wallet.

here is screenshot, todays PoS good, except one not accepted.

thats really good ...

all mine are linux based also - and looks nothing like that ...

o well ...

your website its gone ..  Grin

i know ...

it has not been running since the takeover due to me not continuosly restarting the services on the system it resides on ...

that is a very archaic system - and requires a huge reconstruct ... too much in fact - that my team have been in the process of creating a new website on the same systems that granite are based ... similar to this - http://granitecoin.com/ ( even this site is getting a revamp - which is almost finished ) ... based on the same construct as sister websites with almost the same pages and modules - but under one umbrella ( the name of which ill release when all the legal components are finalized ) ...

the last dev is still in touch - and has not completely disappeared - so he and i have been in constant discussion over the systems that are currently running / not running ... his help has been phenomenal ... but this is however now all on my shoulders - and my responsibility to move this all forward ...  which is why i have decided that the cessation of the old site is to continue - until such time the new site is ready and available for publishing ... this will happen in the coming weeks ... i DO have access to the main profile here that he publishes normally from - but i will only use that profile ( ozziecoindev ) when public or general notices are required - and will continually publish from my 'own' profile ... currently 'crysx' as the bct mods have not acknowledged the bungle with my previous profile 'chrysophylax' ...

there are way too many changes in the backend to count - so they wont be listed here ... but they are being done - and time is the issue with all this ...

grn and ozc are being systematically incorporated into the new umbrella name - and now is becoming in place under the business also ... so there are many things that are required ( development and financial and legal ) that need to be finalized before this all happens ... once again - this takes time - and will be finalized in the coming weeks ...

#crysx

Shhhh,

I am still trying to buy at 1 satoshi, every now and then 2  Smiley

Just offer BCT mods BTC to address your issue I am sure .25 BTC will get it done right away.

hehehe ...

you are a really funny bloke thoth ...

you can buy on yobit - and have always beena able to - at those prices for a while now ... lots of people dumping - which is why i have my coin stash as well ...

anyway - bct mods ... btc huh? ... well - where do i go and how do i go about it ... no mods have even returned my messages let alone offered anything like that ...

#crysx

They will return your message if you say you will pay them I imagine,
Start a thread about it, they are bound to see it.
Or
Maybe go to signature campaign thread, Mitchell and Shorena are active on it

Even send a small trans to Theymos wallet with note attached...

i actually dont understand how to do either one to be honest ...

hi all ...

just compiling all the data needed to change a few things here ...

this week is for my colation of data and ideas - while next week is to be able to change the system and start the components of ozc - including website and redevelopment ideas ...

redevelopment will happen when we get a clear picture of what we want to do with not only the coin - but the entire ozziecoin system - including algo and namechange and other thinsg that will affect the coin ...

the 10billion ozc coins left from the premine is of concern only if we keep them - and need to figure out what can be done with them ... i will be moving them to another wallet and storing them until we decide what can and will be done with them ...

i believe there is too many coins in the network - but burning coins will make it an unfair advantage for those holding a huge amount of coins ... so your suggestions to this end will be very welcomed ...

a new thread about to begin ( and will be a basic one if im the one doing it - but will be up ... look at the granite op ... point made? ) - and discussion over what will happen to both granite and ozc in the process of changeover ...

all is moving on my end - except for the way the bct mods are NOT handling my profile issue ... so a lot of these threads will be moved in the very near future to the new forum we have built - which is currently the granite forum but will be changed into an open forum for all threads crypto ... which includes ozc and others ( especially devs ) that wish to join and have an efficient and fair moderation ...

looking forward to a few changes to come ...

In last 2 days I have 10 mined with PoS blocks - 1 accepted. After adding nodes usually I have 7 active connections, but...

Time to realize PoS is broken and no point holding coins Tongue

hence - read back on my previous posts about the PoS system ...

i cannot give any 'improvement' advice currently - but i can give results ...

out of 15 on mine - one accept ...

also the reason why i wont hold too many neva ...
