Also at the same time, there are other people that are simply just saying that he gives from what he is earning in Youtube which should be obviously true. I don't have the numbers on how much do YT'ers earn actually, but from how I see other people quitting their jobs to go full YTer makes me think that Mr. Beast having 67.8M Subs (as of writing this) isn't faking it.
I imagine he would be keeping the revenue generated by the video, but the millions that he is giving away is from sponsors. However, while Youtubers of his size earn a considerable amount, basically its tied to how many views, and based on your content, and click through rate, determines how you could earn. He earns a lot of money per video, lets just say that. Although, if you've watched any of his videos hes got quite a large production, and a lot of employees that he has to pay. So, he probably doesn't benefit from the majority of that revenue. He talks about how he spends more than he makes in the below video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaKINKK09FYBasically, he's building his brand and not making money personally. Think of it like how CEOs of major tech companies take a $1 annual salary. Sure, they aren't making any money doing their job, but they're receiving ownership in an increasingly valuable entity that will certainly make them rich someday.

I believe only around 20% of the population in Afghanistan has access to internet, so that would make it a pretty bad candidate to switch to Bitcoin. The unstable government also seems counter to what we’re currently seeing with Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador. So to answer your question… No.

This is the only conclusion I could reach also. I don’t think incompetence could possibly be to blame for this happening. If this wasn’t the plan, then some people need to go to jail for treason. This has to be the largest amount of military equipment in history that one entity has given to their enemy.

He is doing his job. There are a lot of users out here who makes a living out of FUD and rumors. A large part of the users here do day-trading, and they need high volatility in the market to make profits. The problem is that nowadays the strategy is not working that well with Bitcoin, as it is the case with altcoins.
I can’t speak for altcoins, but this forum has been incapable of moving the Bitcoin price since 2014. There was a point when the market was small enough to be influenced by what was posted here, but those days are long gone. Additionally, proudhon has been around long enough to know highs come in December so shame on him for jumping the gun with this thread.

The Bitcointalk Show missed its opportunity to collaborate . It's quite mad that we were talking about Mr Beast possibility being interested in getting in on the cryptocurrency scene, and then I see this. It is a crazy business model. I think MrBeast is likely to become the first billionaire who made all his money from giving stuff away. His entire story is crazy. He got his start by taking out a huge loan and giving away all the money as a teenager. Could you imagine? When it comes to betting on yourself, and moreso betting on the kindness of others, Jimmy (MrBeast) is the best case scenario. It's a model that is difficult to duplicate, as giving money away is easy (believe me, I've been doing it for 10 years now) but getting people to support you and join your mission to spread positivity is a far more difficult task. I had the impression that he doesn't keep the majority of the money, and re injects it into his content. Am I wrong in that? I was sure I heard him saying that at some point. I know some of his employees usually get lump sums if the titles of the threads are to be believed. It’s almost like I have good ideas from time to time (I am the inventor of the Lava Lamp Bitcoin Miner). He does give nearly all of his revenue to charity or use it for giveaways. When I say he could be a billionaire it is because he owns the brand. That brand will likely carry a billion dollar valuation one day, and he’ll have no problems getting anything he ever wanted, regardless if he ever “makes” any money for himself or not.

Watching some videos from your YouTube channel and I like the soundproofing you have setup. I'd probably be mining with more hashrate at my home if I had such a setup as well. I should also mention that I thought for a second this was a bodybuilding YouTube channel instead of being about Bitcoin mining. From the look of your biceps I thought you might go hulk and crush that thing when it wasn't working.

If Coinbase really sponsored this event why they didn't pay winners in Bitcoin instead of dollars?
Looks like they heard you loud and clear. Today Coinbase teamed up with MrBeast to give away $100,000 in Bitcoin. You can read the details in the thread I made specifically about it, as a $100,000 giveaway deserves it's own discussion. Kudos to MrBeast and to Coinbase for doing something cool! More info on the giveaway in it's dedicated thread here: MrBeast now teaming with Coinbase to give away $100,000 in Bitcoin on Twitter!

Great to see these bad boys still floating around. I guess I should've loaded them with 1 BTC instead of 0.01 BTC eh? Good luck with your sale! The one I kept for myself is one of my favorite display pieces involving crypto. Although if the price of BTC keeps going up I'm not sure how much longer it'll remain a display piece! This was definitely one of my best buys in terms of expectation = reality lol. You did an awesome job with these. The printing onto metal looks so cool. Wish I could get a decent photo that actually does it justice. Less than 2 hours left! You wont see any of these up for sell often! Current highest bid... 0.012 BTCI really appreciate that. I too was very pleased how these came out. I haven't given up on the concept these prototypes demonstrated either and am actually working on something new that I am extremely excited about making for myself, and maybe might let a couple out into the wild. Good luck with the auction! These bitpics also look awesome once they're put into frames. Mine is the only display piece I have that is actually storing Bitcoin.

I could see this being auctioned for a pretty penny if the coins do come out great and are well received. Nice job on bringing something new to the table. Plus, the wrench... As someone who appreciates good movie references, I can say that you did a fine job with this concept. Congratulations and good luck with the coins! Looking forward to seeing how they come out.

hello friend i need escrow for linode account please
Hello i need escrow for this man linode It looks like there's an open scam accusation tied to one of your accounts. I don't see myself wanting to get involved in whatever is going on here. I'm sure there's plenty of other escrow agents who would be willing to assist you without concern. I'd advise you to go ask a few of them and see if you end up with more positive results. Thank you and good luck!

Bitcoin will hit $100K this year. It will actually hit above $115K. Failure to do so would mean the end of the stock to flow model and that’s what Wall Street is betting will give them a x10 return over the next 4 years, so they will be defending this model with a great deal of cash. I wouldn’t bet against it.

Will Bitcoin move to proof of Stake? Does anyone know? What are the developers opinions on this matter?
No, Bitcoin will not move to Proof of Stake ever. I am as sure of this as I am that the earth is not flat. The developers all believe this is a bad idea for reasons that are already littering this thread. Mostly, because Proof of Work is just plain better and more fair.

There are rumors that LaMarcus Aldridge is going to return to the NBA next season. It seems that he is healthy at the moment, considering that he already passed all necessary tests. By the way, the Nets are interested in Aldridge, and they probably will sign a contract with him again. The Nets just signed Paul Millsap. That makes them chasing Aldridge a little less likely. I didn’t really expect the Nets to land Millsap but those are the kinds of free agent moves that are possible when you’re heavily favorites to win it all next year. The Lakers I think have the best big three, but the Nets have some serious depth that will come in handy come playoff time.

Above $50K and for some reason Bitcoin still feels cheap... Coinbase is showing declining reserves... Twitter testing Bitcoin integration via Lightning. ETFs based on futures ready to get approved any day now. NFTs minting crypto millionaires by the thousands. DeFi in full recovery mode. You'd have to be absolutely insane to short this market, and even more insane to do so with leverage. Let's go!

Some eagle-eyed YouTube fans might have noticed that another YouTuber famous for sneaking into events happened to find his way into this video. Airrack basically gets into every event and is another great channel to watch if you need to kill some time and get some good quality content. He was also promoting Bitcoin in his latest video, which I made another thread about here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5357767.0

One of my favorite Bitcoin related quotes on the subject of Democracy is this...
Democracy: The original 51% attack.
The problem with democracy is that as a whole human beings aren't too bright when making decisions that effect everyone. I think Agent K said it best in Men In Black.
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it." - Agent K

YouTuber Airrack gives away $5,000 worth of Bitcoin in his latest video. The video was sponsored by Lolli, which is a plugin for your browser that rewards you with Bitcoin when you spend funds at certain online retailers. Participants in the video have to get past a series of challenges like walking on Legos before eventually having to get around a live Alligator in order to claim their prize of $5,000 worth of Bitcoin. "That's pretty much it. I'm leaving." I Opened a Free Store, But There's AlligatorsWho is Airrack? For starters, you might recognize him as a participant in the most recent MrBeast video.
