I agree with Yifu here, and you guys are way too harsh. I've sold maybe 30k orders b2c and it drains the life out of you. The only transactions you here are the bad ones, and in the btc world that must be 10fold.

There is seriously no way to describe how b2c makes you feel when its bad.

If Yifu shipped instead of mining with customer gear, people wouldn't be nearly as upset.
Batch 1 dudes have gotten raped by Yifu's failure to deliver, his failure to keep his word, yet the victims are supposed to be congenial?
If they are pissed, it is no one's fault but their own?

Bulls#!+

And what about the other 100s who have made $100k a unit? The thanks you give to him for not taking literally as much network as he wanted, and again for B2 and 3. He gave away his own chance to be rich so you guys could, yet you QQ because of a few orders with logistics problems.

Btw you can't use forum time as that defaults to user's time zone. You need to specify forum time @ blah blah hour @ time zone

You do realise those fans are SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the stock, to reach the same performance?

^^ Been asked a few times about price on this one. BIN [*read RRP] is 229.95 but will consider offers 200+

Have 1 more confirmed unit, will post a new thread unless anyone snaps it up.

Where are you located? I am much more likely to bid if you are somewhere near enough to me that I can pick up in person.
Not to swagerjack, but Israel [PM].

So.... what exactly has to happen for this guy to get banned? He's abandoned this account but would make sense to still remove it.

80 pages of PMs in about 4 weeks, you'll find a way soon enough Tongue

7653  Economy / Auctions / Re: Avalon Batch 3 - 4 Module 85GHs with Power supply shipping from Bitsyncom soon on: July 08, 2013, 03:39:08 PM
1) Dogie likes dogie's auctions
2) Dogie has a buyer list the length of all 4 paws and his tail combined
3) That BIN is a long, long way off at the moment [so you can change it now]
4) No point reserving, you can't edit in auction subforum
5) People prefer fixed length auctions.
7654  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gridchip 40nm BTC ASIC chips (btcman) on: July 08, 2013, 03:04:23 PM
Also interested. Good luck

My first thought reading this is "Awesome ! More competition entering Bitcoin space".

My second thought is "Come on, rest of the world ! Why is Shenzhen seemingly the only place that has it's act together (relatively speaking) ? It's starting to be embarrassing !"

*mumbles something about wanting to buy American and how that's worked out for him so far*

Cheap labor, massive workforce, and infrastructure that's already present.

Fixed
7655  Economy / Auctions / Re: [SELL] Avalon batch 3 85Gh/s 4 modules unit on: July 08, 2013, 01:56:59 PM
... I asked about escrow and got no reply before the auction end.
7656  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 2x B2 Avalon In Hand on: July 08, 2013, 07:41:32 AM
“sent coins to john escrow address”
What do you mean?
The units have been bought.
7657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 08, 2013, 02:59:59 AM
I cracked it! Hitting 120GH on a 3 module now Cheesy

Surely you're pulling our leg. Smiley 450 is the max clock rate which puts a 3 module somewhere around 100GH. If not, do spill your secret.
Spent all of yesterday going through the firmware code, there is a trick people are missing. Uses some information from the github as well.
7658  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 2x B2 Avalon In Hand on: July 08, 2013, 12:33:54 AM
1 unit sold, 1 unit has a deposit against it.

I will have 1 more in hand B2 this week, and another B2 directly from Avalon at some point. Please PM me offers on these.

AUCTION HAS ENDED, thank you all.

There really isn't much harm running them hotter - these chips are spec'ed and tested up to 70C, even then its really unlikely the lifetime of the chips would be < useful lifetime... AND 1 chip death doesn't matter in this design.

I'm getting similar temperatures at similar fan speeds but with a 33C ambient [yeah, fml].
