Did last attempt to make my spare C1 a full unit. I pasted the back side of the board's. It was a LOT of thermal paste even when I made it spread out where it's a thin coat.
Did 4 blades and at then end seemed like 1 works perfect on blade, others all depend. So basically I have a parts unit for my other C1 if it ever craps out. I will not be touching this one for a while.

That is pretty nice to get all above 450. Seems that they were able to take some of the variable out of it. My S3's veryied greatly on speed. But then again they were batch 1 so they were known for some to do great and some to suck.

Thanks for setting it up, I did not want to impose on you.
Looks like the summer heat has not put diff into negative drops. My guess is companies are swapping older gear with newer gear.
I think you are right on with this. Look at bitmain's next batch of S5's "[Second Hand] ANTMINER S5 BATCH 7" . I am really afraid of this and wish they would explain more. I'm worried they sell used S5's clean out data centers then keep first X numbers of what ever miner is next for them. So the S5 goes to a hobby miner, and a data center gets an upgrade. Again all hypothetical for all I know these are just warranty ones that were fixed and I am reading to much into it. And not a problem at all enjoy your vacation! this is undoubtedly what is happening.. manufacturers are preferring to profit with their own hardware by mining than retail these days.. the end of small scale home mining is nigh also the end of my sandwhich of course just look at KNC if you are sceptical, why should bitmain behave better? they are both in it for the money I don't think it's fair to compare KNC to Bitmain. Just based on products alone. KNC is so secretive now we really don't know what they are doing.

Your chances are pretty much zero. There is a section for loans but new account asking for loan no collertal, most likely not going to happen.
So at bottom left click to move it to loans.

The frequency is 100 because I wanted to try if it is a PSU related problem.I have several PSUs, same brand. When I tried the other one I get some hash at 100 frequency. Can both PSUs may be problematic? When I increased the freq to 300 or 350 it does not hash.
I cannot remember for sure on this. Does the CX750 have 4 SEPERATE pcie power cords? Not the connectors but actual cords going to pcie.

I have got a similar problem. The only difference is I have got temperature '35'.
What do you suugest?I have ordered a PSU tester and will check PSU.Anyone who has an idea is wellcome.
What model is your current PSU? Can you take a screenshot of your status page?

I am seeing this theymos as the high lord of bitcoin discussions round here. Many say that theymos has this or that opinion.
What is theymos's opinion on altcoins?
Is there a successor to theymos?, should heaven forbid, something happen to him.
Are there other royal bitcoin families seeking to take the iron throne of btt and reddit bitcoin?
And what is your opinion of how theymos treats his subjects?
I suggest reading meta. But Theymos has been trusted with the forum... a big task. And he keeps it online and even plans for a big update. There is no doubt he is intrusted with a lot. But considering amount he watches over seems like a good pick as no problem over BTC from forum or other possible problems.

That's exactly what I was stating above. There's no way they are going to leave empty space in a datacenter. If they're selling second hand S5s, it's because they're replacing them with newer stuff. The only people mining with Bitmain's newest gear is Bitmain. Once they've sold off enough of those old S5s, they'll announce the newest miner to the public.
The most crazy thing is they mined with these machines for over a month. And what do they get and the machines rised in value.... crazy! I never thought I would see a miner that you could mine with and the miner itself rised in value. So they got approx 40 day's of free mining on these then sell them.... and sell at higher price. We live in crazy days.

i registred in 64blocks.com and paste it's code in my signature, But can i see my earnings ? and when i can withdraw ? and finally, How can i check if i'm registred in that service or not ? and thanks very much for your help
it's done automatically if they have a bot, otherwise you can ask the dev of that campaign about every detail usually is at the end of each week or month, from the day that you registered Thanks friend Can i use more than one service at once i mean can i put 2 or 3 service to my signature at once ? It depends on the signature campaign. Each one has it's own rules on what you can or can't do. But for most cases no you cannot have more then 1 signature. Most have it where they take up all the space for your rank. So a lot really not space to add another to. So the bottom line is NO and just say NO because like you said it applies in most signature campaign. Dont say it depends because he will mislead this statement. I have seen ones that allowed to put your BTC address on bottom line. That is it depends. You are forgetting I have been on this forum a long time... seen a lot. You must still be kinda new. Heck I think I had one I did for a physical coin that accepted putting your BTC addresss at bottom (been quite a while back) Normally though the signature campaign will fill up all of your space though, and not allow any other things that is true. But no there is not a blanket anwser as it's not one size fit's all.

[...] I think second hand is very fair term, and they have now done a great job explaining it.
The only gripe i have with the "Second Hand" fact, is that to receive the goods in my country without paying stupid amounts to DHL i have to add 2 weeks to the shipment... and their warranty is 4 weeks... hope there's no issue with the miners, if so i will have a VERY narrow window to use that warranty (not that i have had to do it, in the past all my miners have run without a hitch, off course, with some maintenance and regular cleaning). You can't really blame Bitmain on any of that. That is something you need to complain to your country about, I agree it's not fair some pay insane import tax (I'm guessing that is part of the dhl). But Bitmain did not make that rule. I have had good luck as far as Bitmain to US. Always quick and never had a problem. U.S. may not be far behind, there are talks about adding an import tax for goods with the 2017 tax reform. I guess buy all your miners now. Ehhh there are always talks about almost everything. I don't think we will be getting one in US anytime soon. But I could be wrong. Anways it's falling off topic back to S5's .

Wow how many megawatts will that January place have?
Several MWs. We're aiming for 10MW for Jan 1, but we'll see how it goes. What is the Vat/Import tax to get miners to you? Is there any fees to get miners into Canada? For some reason I was thinking North Data = North Dakota.... but i realized I was wrong and you are more north then that //

no but i would have tried with let's say 7 tera of a total hashrate which would produce 1 block in one year
and since it has been one year of an almost steady diff(in comparison with the old big jump that at which we were accustomed), maybe with some luck it would have been possible to find a block
With my electricity price I just can't take the risk. I wish I was able to try solo. But it's pretty expensive to cover 10k+ watts of gear and fan's for summer. I think the most successful way to do it was the groups that did massive rentals before forums were hacked. I would not mind seeing that happen again and I would think about trying the rental solo.

Blockchain.info shows 144 made for Sunday and 78 for today. Basically the real time diff is under two percent.
Two percent of 400 ph is eight ph about seven thousand s-5 machines
It will be interesting to see the sell of the S5's from their data centers. I wonder if they will have what ever is next to plug in right away, or if they will be unloading the "second hand" ones before gear is ready. This is just a guess but I would think whenever the batch starts to ship... they would have something. I just cant imagine them leaving a data center spot open.

No Replies Yet. Two Days have passed. BadBear and Theymos where are you Sir? If I were you I would nicely send a message from the email to prove even more ownership. I think the evidence will help you. As far as time frame admins are very busy also pushing for it to be done in that day probley did not help. Don't poke the bear The email address on the account was a random one so I can't send from that email, understand? I don't know if you put this info out there. First time Ive noticed you say that. I was hoping in a joking way I could say it nice " Don't poke the bear " It is in BadBears things to do. No amount of bumping or sending him messages will speed him up (If anything it could annoy him and slow it down). My advice is not to keep counting day's in thread give it a week... see what happens. If facts look good I'm guessing BadBear comes through for you.

I think your best bet is to find a cheap S3 around $80 and start mining with that. It's a lot more profitable than a usb stick miner.
If you are set on a stick miner than sidehack has a really good device coming out you can grab and mess around with
The s-3 is stand alone just needs an Ethernet jack and a decent power supply. In order to make profit 8 cents a kilowatt is good I would agree it really depends on price of electricity. We can't say S3+ overall... as for some it will lose them money. I hate suggesting to someone a device that has no chance at ROI. Even a small chance is better then no chance. And I agree on decent PSU. Some new to mining use horrible PSU's the worst thing I saw in past week is like 3 year old PSU and using molex to pcie adapter. Get a PSU that can handle what ever miner you get and get proper amount of PCIe power cables (not adapters but cables)

Thank you all my friend I understood very well how the system works but I have a last question, If i reached the max weekly post limit in less than week, can i change to other service ?
No you need to stay till payment. Normally people become loyal to one after a while and stick with it. If you post more then limit you got to have fun on forum just no extra pay. As you grow ranks amount and paid per will go up. But starting early is not a bad thing as long as you do decent content.

Used miner purchases will receive coupons towards new miner purchases
Although this current batch of Antminer S5 listed for sale are used units, Bitmain performs quality control testing on every machine to ensure that it is in proper working order before shipping to consumers.
These machines have only been running for about 40 days in our farm, so there should not be a significant impact on the performance or the total life of the machines.
Bitmain would like to offer coupons to customers who bought S4+ or S5 recently to be used towards the future purchase of our next generation of mining machine.
At this time, we are unable to provide detailed information on the new machines or the size of the coupons, but please expect an official announcement in the near future.
Thanks for the update! And thanks for extending the 15-day warranty on these "second-hand" S5's to 30 days! It makes them a little easier to sell :-) By the way, just a little English-language suggestion: PLEASE stop calling these "second hand" -- that term has very negative connotations in English that you would NOT want associated with your products: the term is usually used to describe worn, damaged and degraded items (usually clothing or furniture) that have been passed down person to person (or generations of a family). Second hand goods are typically given way for free to the poor or sold for a fraction of their original price. The professional terms used in the electronics industry for used devices that are tested, maybe-repaired and resold by the original manufacturer are: - "Factory Refurbished" - "Factory Certified Returns" - "Open Box Items" and it's also standard in the industry to offer the same full warranty on such items as new good, to assure buyers they are just as good as new! The second hand term I think is proper, as they have been running up to 40 days. I think they handled it well at this point though with that post. If they would have posted day one would have been better. I suggest next time launching a sale like this and info at same time. Below is why I don't think other terms are proper - "Factory Refurbished" - these are still working miners they were not refurbished, just checked for performance. I see refurbished going in re pasting, making it just like it was brand new. - "Factory Certified Returns" this they are not returns it is from data center bitmain owns so again sounds good but not acccurate - "Open Box Items" Open box goes to where it does not tell much and these did not set in a open box they were on a rack running. I think second hand is very fair term, and they have now done a great job explaining it.
