Yes that is normal as the estimate weight can change all the time as more people start staking RAIN the harder it gets to earn stakes. You will need to try and build up your stack some more to compete with the other people staking. That is why the minimum amount to stake is around 5k as that should earn you a couple of stakes each week but again it would depend on the network weight. now i have 4350 rain, but now like i said the weight was reduced so much. if i get more RAIN will my weight grow faster? I suppose so afaik your weight is determined by the age of your coins * amount of coins. you'll probably need to use coin control and combine your new amount into one big chunck. I may be wrong though, got to confirm it. |

I'm not 100% but I suppose you just have to change the .dat file on %appdata% / rain for the one of your back uo did you back up after encrypting? |

Yes, afaik the transaction will still be on the blockchain only appearing when wallet online and fully synced but as you said i assume you do miss still some transactions. The beauty of RAIN being the rewards are random

i bought some coins for check how much % stake they give, but unfortunately my block size is just 2k , and 15 days, no reward wallet is online 24/7 and fully synced. should i buy more to increase weight of wallet to get reward? In the debug console, type in "getstakinginfo" and verify both "enabled" and "staking" are shown as true. Also, there you can see "expectedtime" in epoch, by when you would get the stake rewards. did this thanks for the info the thing is that I received expected time as 2232064 using this epoc to date conversor I get 26/01/1970 17:01:04 so I'm clearly doing something wrong but If I just put the cursor above the small cloud on the wallet I get a weight of 2353, the network weight and expected time to earn reward on 25 days. I'd like to understand better what does the weight means as well. gonna look into that. |

Probably yes. I have over 30K RAIN staking, getting rewards on average every other day, so I reckon, having 2K will give you the reward on average once a month. That's quite awkward and I don't think that's even close to being true. I have 1.6K rain and I've been staking for 4 days and I've had two rewards and the third shouldn't be taking that long either. got around 2k here to test as well and estimated time is more than 30 days, but it's going down faster. (yesterday it was 90). did you ever had problems on windows erasing the blockchain when cleaning temporary files? |

for me steemit is kind like a combination of reddit and medium. with the extra of POSm - proof of social media. been enjoying posting videos and creating new articles for the website. https://steemit.com/@lucasgabdThe comment section is kind of messy, I wish Steemit would have a comment box similar to that of Reddit, which is more organized with the (+)(-) buttons and nested comments. For example Reddit's comment box kind of sends you to a different thread after the nests grow deep. In steemit the comments can be very long and hard to read if all of them are on 1 page. It needs to be like how it's on reddit. agreed maybe this can be corrected in a future hardfork? |
