Yes that is normal as the estimate weight can change all the time as more people start staking RAIN the harder it gets to earn stakes. You will need to try and build up your stack some more to compete with the other people staking. That is why the minimum amount to stake is around 5k as that should earn you a couple of stakes each week but again it would depend on the network weight.

You will need to try and build up your stack some more to compete with the other people staking. That is why the minimum amount to stake is around 5k as that should earn you a couple of stakes each week but again it would depend on the network weight.

now i have 4350 rain, but now like i said the weight was reduced so much.
if i get more RAIN will my weight grow faster?

afaik your weight is determined by the age of your coins * amount of coins.

you'll probably need to use coin control and combine your new amount into one big chunck.

I may be wrong though, got to confirm it.

How do I get the private key for one of my Rain wallets? I have the Windows Rain wallet client.

I buy some rain coins from cryptopia and now download the wallet but it keep crashing all the time and take a long time to sync with the network. It crashed 6 times already but now it is working good and syncing but taking a very long time to sync. i think dev need to do something about this wallet crashing because i read a lot of people have the same problem with this and it not good for new people coming in. i hope there can be a fix for this in time dev.

No but it does depend on your weight as the more coins you have the better chance you have at getting more stakes. Also your weight increases with more coins you have and yes it also depends on the coin age as well. That is why it's best to split the coins up into blocks as if someone had them all in 1 block they would then need to wait for that block to mature again which could take a while depending on how many coins it was. So if someone splits there coins up into blocks then when 1 block of coins stake they will still have the other blocks of coins staking. That is why I say 10k blocks are best for someone who has a lot of RAIN. But for someone with a small amount under 10k then split the blocks up into 2,500 coins so they would have 4 blocks of coins, if one stakes they will have 3 more staking while that first one matures.

Almost all POS coins need to hold open 24/24 wallet to get the most out of it.
You can also unplug it, but then you will receive less coins.
