Checking in guys. Never heard of huntercoins until recently. What are some good things going for it?

The thing I find most interesting about HUC is the way the coins are distributed and the security of the network using both SHA-256 & SCRYPT both of which are merge mined.

I think that the next trend of coin will attempt to copy Huntercoin in the way the coins are spread around to the users.  Basically with HUC you can become a miner with only a lap top and a internet connection. (soon to be just a smart phone/tablet/ect)

This is literally the only decentralized work place where Jews/Muslims/Christians can work side by side and still blow each other up without making the national news (thus far any ways.... who knows what is to come!)

No I'm talking about before the disaster, most of my guys were  not far from home then disaster hit..  The bots then scooped up their coins after they died.   Like I said I dont care about that cause I'm way ahead, but if it was my first time playing and I just invested to create these characters I probably wouldn't be happy.  Just dont think the disaster in its current form really does anything positive for humans.
It's not worthy of remembering little coins lost in disaster in several days. You can  hold  more than 10 pools if you have time, which can produce nearly 500-1000 coins for one day, that is advantage of human over bots.

BGB got a 1000 or 2 (maybe he can say the exact amount) just by being first in line after a disaster.  And that was just around the edges.  I just think the disaster serves bots even more than before if it is like this.   I dont want to seem like I'm complaining or jealous.  I have bought a shitload of HUC, and play for fun.  Just want to help make it better and make suggestions so that they become more valuable in the future.

I can totally see where a disaster would favor the bots with the speed of launching new players.

Kinda like how you aren't home right now!

I'm assuming that's the corners and the middle area?  I know it's the corners but not sure about the mid area.

It is the corners only (colored tiles on outer edge). There are no player spawns in the middle.

Take it back to the corners of your appropriate team.
7705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: September 07, 2014, 12:52:23 AM
While I am not a fan of No Limit Ever and worry about Too Many Coins at least Doge is doing something different and, while diminished, the community is still relatively strong.

Good Luck.

I thought what was different about it back in December was how fast it would reach the cap.

It is strong and I do wish it the best of luck.  I really like DOGE and I just want to see the fucker thrive!  I think the chance of that would be better if it was capped and merged... I'm probably not doing the best job of coming off as a DOGE supporter by bitching, but god damn! Cap this thing up, that is the rocket fuel IMO.

We shall see I suppose!
7706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: September 06, 2014, 09:59:57 PM

The reason I knew this is that Bitcoin will go mainstream next year but its transactions are way too expensive and when volume picks up Bitcoin will not be able to handle the transactions size.

LTC and doge [together] solve the tx volume and high tx cost issues for Bitcoin.

I agree that if bitcoin gains more popularity, it'll likely pull the DOGE up. Simply, if someone put some effort to learn about bitcoin, than he/she is very likely to try the other cryptos as well, and DOGE is one of the most popular and easier to get.

Don't really see what's the strenght of LTC nowadays tho. Bitcoin is (was and will be) more popular as both, functional currency or investment. Dogecoin has low tx fees, creates more hype and reaches to a new people. Think LTC will be slowly losing its position.

If LTC goes then so will DOGE.  DOGE people just need to take the back seat n shut the fuck up Cheesy DOGE needs LTC @ this point and relies on it.

Even if BTC goes up it won't effect how there isn't enough BTC to fill the endless DOGE void in the long term.  Therefore, long term BTC investors (the type of investors you want) will steer clear of this I believe and it will be left with the day traders/gamblers to bleed out.

I sound like a broken record, but the main thing I hear from BTC fans is that there will only be 21 mil.  Cap the coin! 100,000,000,000 strong!

7708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Methods for security when selling online for BTC on: September 06, 2014, 07:50:41 PM
I sell quite a bit online for BTC and have seen some of the discussions on here but want to make sure I am updated on the best ways to keep on the level when selling. Most of the time I sell smaller things and since I have a contract with several delivery companies I can send all my stuff for free. I am now selling larger things, mostly right now I have been selling my tactical crossbows along with tons of accessories for 5BTC, sold 4 out of 10 so far but I will be selling larger including large edgeless TVs and used cars. I just wanted opinions on the best ways to sell larger items to make sure both sides are feeling comfortable. With the Crossbows, not to much security goes into it as they just send the bitcoin, send an email with their information and I send it, they get it a week later, 2 if they want something more and that is it. With the cars and tvs however might be a bit different. If anyone can share a few pointers on how they would handle it please let me know as it would be of help.

Also, I have started helping with "referrals" on a survival info site and been getting a few bitcoins here and there so if you interested in that I can send you information.

1. Deliver the product in a timely fashion when you are paid.

2. Build trust.

3. Offer on escrow with good guys off of here who you know would cost them more in their rep to fuck you over than they would financially  gain from running off with the funds. (SaltySpitoon is who I would trust.  The dude is a A+ guy)

For large transactions that might be worth wacking you in the head over you should put some funds in escrow or at the very least have them sign a address with the number of coins it would take to buy the product.  Meet in a nice public place, so you can yell "rape" if they pull some funny shit.  Grin

Selling cars sucks donkey dick in general IMO.  I got one I need to sell atm.

Honestly, I prefer to do large trades for BTC over cash by far and away.  Big problem with cash is what if the person has their buddy around the corner to rob you once they drive off with the new bought car.  In other words someone knows you have a good size chunk of change on you.  With BTC you can have the payment sent to a paperwallet that is sitting locked up safely in your Safety Deposit box (or where ever.)

I think 1 and 2 would be very difficult to do without first getting people to trust you without any reputation. This is really a conundrum because it is difficult to get people to trust you without you having prior successful trades, but it is hard to get a successful trade without people trusting you.

Free samples... duh! Didn't you browse the SR  Cheesy
I think free samples would be very costly. It would also open you up to potential scams (people ordering multiple free samples from you).

For example the silver shot I had for sale.

I could mail a piece of shot with a stamp for about 30 cents and each person that verifies it is just another notch under the belt.
What would prevent you from scamming (meaning accepting payment and not sending the product) once someone wants to buy a larger quantity? Don't you think that buyers would see through what is essentially purchased feedback?

I of course can't speak for all BTC vendors, but from what I've seen 99% of customers scale up business slowly.

First the order a small package to make sure that it is what it is.

Then they order a little bit more just to double check and then they place a good order.

This is a good way to go for the customer and everyone should do this even with the largest companies IMO.
7709  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confession of a Degenerate on: September 06, 2014, 07:41:19 PM
how close do you live to the San Fernando Valley ?

He is in Canada.

Lots and lots of top cam models come from Canada, but I imagine you have to sort through the eskimos to get to them.

I think he has lost interest in this project anyways.  (This project concept stemmed from a idea that I've been playing with in my head since 2010 ish.  It will be highly successful and most likely will change the camming industry yet again.)
7710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : *** shutting down - please withdraw your coins *** on: September 06, 2014, 07:32:55 PM
Doog also actively discouraged people from betting if they had a problem, to the point of locking their account.  He had support and help information if someone was addicted, and cared about his players.  I do not see that from state lotteries, and they involve more then a two person operation.  What I do see from state lotteries, is big billboards in poor areas.

Poor people are so fucking stupid.

You see it in Arkansas all the time. Someone buying food with the EBT card (food stamps) and then yoloing all their money into scratchers.

Pisses me off that we are paying for these worthless humans to eat and they are blowing it making some legal mob rich.

I finally got synced and I can't seem to create a new player.  When I click new and put in my name it give me "Name Registration Failed"
"Error:  This transaction requires a transaction fee of at least .000 because of it's amount, complexity, or use of recently relieved funds"

I put 8 HUC in my wallet so there's coins to make a player but It just won't let me.  I've tried a bunch of different name in case my name was taken but same thing every time.

I remember now this is why I didn't play in the beginning... I was getting this same error.  Any ideas?

What is your address? Also download the mi thrilled man client and play with that.  I will send you some coins.  10 to start a character

I'd chip a few for you as well!
Wow thanks guys!  I thought it cost 1 coin + transaction fee to start...
And where can I get the "mi thrilled man client"?

I sent you 100 good sir.  Best of luck mining and if you have some luck or what not be sure to pass a few coins paying it forward Cheesy!

7720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2014, 05:14:30 AM
Buy low, sell high. You will always win.
This is much easier said then done. There is always the possibility that a price is high but would continue to rise, or that the price is low but will continue to fall.

If it was possible to know when the price is low or high then the price would never become low or high because people would trade ahead of these price levels which would make the price essentially stay almost exactly the same.

I just shake my magic 8ball and yolo my life savings at it Cheesy
